I have tried many Chinese places around the Newark area and I keep going back to "A Taste of China". The food is very good and the price is very reasonable. I love their Sesame Chicken combo and love their egg rolls! I have never had a bad meal here!

I AM ADDICTED TO THEIR DUMPLINGS! For only $4.95 you get an order of 8 massive dumplings with really good dipping sauce too! I am guilty of actually ordering multiple orders :P All menu items are reasonably cheap and there's a large selection. Moo Shu pork with pancakes was also amazing. Came with plum sauce. Lasted me almost 5 separate meals!

I called to see if they delivered and we'll all I heard was three syllables of unintelligible words and a click in my ear. I would have drove there but now I'm never giving them any of my service. That was just rude. I also tried to call back to no answer.

This place has the worst customer Service. I have been there many times. They give you like 2 packs of duck sauce, one pack of ketchup, one of soy sauce but only if you ask. When you ask for more they get annoyed and just throw one more pack of each in the bag and give you attitude. Until today which is the last time I will ever go back. They gave me such a hard time and then started talking in Chinese. Who knows what they where saying only because I asked them for a bit more duck sauces. I was a regular but no longer will give them my business. The place inside is always cold, heaters are turn off, restroom is always dirty. Will never go back here and will tell all my friends and family about their terrible service.

Get past the Sauce Nazi and the rest is 4 stars. Great lunch specials, can't beat the value, two meals at least in the special. Good food. If the lady is at the counter, watch you get what you ask for. 3 lunch combo's and she gives you 2 fortune cookies (the 3rd person "no fortune for you!")...she put in 1 hot sauce, 1 mustard, 3 duck, and 3 soy. It's like pulling teeth to get 6 soy and 3 mustard packets - no duck and no hot sauce wanted. Oh and if you call your order in and she answers, hang up and go in to order. She doesn't listen, usually gets the order wrong. Now the gentleman taking orders and working counter gets it.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
