When you're passing by the State of Delaware on I-95 and you see the exit sign for Christiana mall road, it leads to the Christiana mall directly. The mall is actually a great rest stop alternative to the ones actually on I-95 because the food court there is amazing and Delaware is known for tax-free shopping. Seriously tax-free. I've lived in Delaware for 4 years during college and Suki Hana has been there at the mall food court all along. It's popular among many locals... if you go during lunch or even odd hours, they usually have a long line. Now, Suki Hana is NOT your typical mall food court vendor. Their beef, chicken, shrimp teriyaki combos are seriously amazing. After you place your order, the guy at the grill cooks yours from a raw fresh pile of meat, adds a scoup of their special teriyaki sauce and delivers an amazing pile of tender meat love fest onto your styrofoam plate on top of the fried rice and potato. I usually get the beef teriyaki combo with fried rice and the potatoes. (The potatoes are amazing. Never fails.) I'm giving these guys a 5 star because Suki Hana is an absolute gem that only the local people know about, and more people ought to check this place out.

This place is great! As Eric said if you do not know the rules they can come off rude, but hey I am from Philly and am totally used to that, (Genos and Pats in South Philly, mess up the order and get a dirty look or sent to the back of the line!) Another thing that reminded me of Philly is that they are fast and do not like people who are slow and holding up the line of at least 15 people in back of you, (on a slow time of the day!) so please know what you want! I suggest the honey chicken, rice and vegtable, when they ask for your order say it just like that and you can not fail! So to sum it up huge portions, good tasty food at a reasonable price, you can not beat it! Oh and one more thing order a small side of plantain banana's as a desert, you will be licking your chops when you are done your meal! Caution though, this place is highly addictive!!!!!!

The food is good here - my beef was tender and flavorful, and it's a good value. But the employees are some of the rudest people I've ever met. Apparently, I wasn't supposed to hold onto the styrofoam box containing my order before I paid for it. The person behind the counter shook his head at me and yanked the container back. Um, okay...

We go to the mall a lot. The food court has lots of food places you see in every mall across the country but we always can't resist Suki Hana! The line is usually the longest food line in the food court because they give you plenty of food and their price and good.

This is a great Place and the Food is delicious. Its just that i dont like one of the employees he treated me bad and he was one of the guys taking orders. He seemed like a Mix between mexican and Chinese. I dont like him and dont want to bother ordering until hes done or he doesnt work on saturday nights until then 3 stars but overall a good place

Food was good but that was some of the rudest service I've ever experienced. Plus after spending almost $25 on food and bottled drinks she wanted to charge me for small cups!

Great place to eat if you want to feel like you're getting yelled at in basic training. The food is mediocre at best. As a person of Japanese heritage, this is NOT authentic Japanese food. Expect to feel rushed and viewed as more of a number than a customer. Do not expect to have high expectations of the quality and service unless you look forward to getting let down. They really should've named it Sucky Hana

Suki Hana has been around since I was a little girl and I can't say much has changed! Their prices are affordable and they give you a very generous amount of food. I go through phases where I only eat suki Hana. It's literally addicting! Lol I normally get their rice or noodles, their honey chicken, sesame chicken, or teriyaki chicken, and of course their potatoes or sweet plantains. Those are the items I've tired. All soo yummy!! Their food is always cooked to perfection and never disappoints! I just wish they delivered! lol

I told the chef about my shell food allergy and to please be cautious of cross contamination. Apparently that was too much to ask for. It aggravated the chef and he was very rude and even yelled back when I asked if he used the same spatula for the shrimp orders and the chicken orders. My life is not worth the crappy $5 meal and a bad attitude. I'll come back as soon as that chef is gone.

Good tasty food, a bit greasy for my liking. The staff here is okay, the pice is okay. You will be waiting for a while they get more business then the other spots in the food court. If you are in a rush this is not the spot for you.

They have one of the best chicken teryaki. Pretty cheap, served very fast (when theres short line) and they give you so much food. I go there atleast once a month.

As far as fast-food goes, Suki Hana is awesome! It was my first time here yesterday and it was definitely a good choice for a quick, filling, inexpensive meal. I decided on the Spicy Chicken Combo (#10) with fried rice and veggies. For the low price tag of $5.99, I got overflowing portions of both the chicken and the rice with a good helping of the veggies. The chicken was moist, flavorful, and delicious (just the right amount of spice); the rice wasn't greasy at all, which is usually my biggest issue with fried rice. The veggies actually tasted like veggies, still had a crispness to them, and weren't cooked to death or overly soggy. Definitely a great meal! I will be back!

I've been eating at Suki Hana for the past 10 years, no joke--I remember the days when there was a dinky little movie theater next to the food court. They've been around for far longer than the new management that has turned Christiana Mall into a serious shopping destination. The prices have gone up only about a dollar since the early 2000s, and the quality and portions have stayed the same. I almost always get the same entree dish, not one of the most popular but really amazing, do try it: Kato Chicken, or chicken and green beans with fried onions, lots of pepper, and an addictive sauce. This place is a true Delaware icon, and equally popular among Chinese and non-Chinese locals, which is rare.

Sushi is not on the menu as some of those previous reviewers claimed. Otherwise it is a good food court vendor for any given mall.

I lived in Japan and consider myself a sushi snob. Suki Hana is excellent. The fish is fresh, the rice is perfect, and the price is what it should be. They have excellent deals such as a salmon combo for $8.75 where you get a 6 piece salmon roll and 5 salmon nigiri. The basic rolls are all $3.75 for 6 pieces and nigiri are $2 - $2.50 for two pieces. The Chinese girl making the sushi was great. Seriously, I would not be surprised if this is the best sushi in Delaware (in a non-Japanese run establishment).

This place is really good for mall food. I really dislike eating at the mall court with a passion but if I'm really hungry you can bet I'll be getting food from this place. I love their honey chicken, can't get enough of it. Their vegetable side is so tasty and not greasy at all. I'm a local and I've never met somebody that didn't like Suki Hana. The portions are generous for a cheap price. Haven't had their sushi but I'm not really tempted to since it's still mall food.

Suki Hana definitely lives up to the hype. The food is delicious for what it is, which is inexpensive fast Asian fare. There is typically a long line that outstretches the neighboring fast food chain's line, but it moves quickly. The servings are incredibly generous for the price, and they have a variety of items to choose from, including a small sushi selection (which I have never tried). I normally order the Honey Chicken with fried rice, which is always satisfying. My only complaint is the unfriendly staff, but that won't stop me from going back.
