Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Pizza Hut has been my favorite chain pizza place since I was a small child and my family would stop for lunch on the way to our beach house in Cape May. Sure there was Rick's in the mall and Mack's on the boardwalk but it was always the charred pepperoni on the Pizza Hut pizza I loved the most. I have so many warm memories of piping hot thin and crispy pepperoni topped pizzas with cold red frosty cups of cola before hitting the beach. When I had my tonsils pulled the first thing I wanted was a thin and crisp pepperoni pizza from the Hut. Hurt like hell but I got 2 slices down lol. I've been to some PH that are sub par, the one that was on 13 comes to mind and some that are new & trendy like the one in Deptford NJ. This particular PH is neither, it has the warm friendly vibe of the PHs I remember from my childhood. On my first visit I recall seeing pastel spring decorations. I'm guessing the employees did it on their own because it looked like the budget was dollar store. Despite budget I think it was warm & inviting and it made me smile when I walked in. The first time I ordered the girl on the phone was genuine & friendly. When I got there she greeted me by letting me know I had perfect timing as mine was the next pizza out of the oven. The second time (today) when I arrived my pizzas were ready to go and when I asked for a 20oz bottled Sierra Mist, the cashier apologized for not having it and offered me a fountain drink on the house. Because I've had 2 great experiences here and 3 perfect hot delicious pizzas this joint gets 5 stars and a big :)

Restaurant looks dirty, everywhere are feeling greasy. Attendant busy, no one to clean up the table for a long time. We waited long time for our meal.

The place is dark and dirty looking. Needs major updating. Server was very pleasant but the buffet had the same pizzas over 25 minutes. So pizza not fresh. Asked if they could serve a thin crust pizza? This is a pizza joint right?" Took another 15 minutes. They r cutting the pizza now. Not pleasant guest experience. Better to order online to avoid the poor experience

Wow. A colleague and I showed up a few minutes after 11 AM for the lunch buffet. Not a single item was yet out on the buffet. An employee then assured us that the food is coming out "right now." We waited about 5 minutes before any food (breadsticks, a pepperoni pizza, and a cheese pizza) were brought out. We went ahead and got a bit of food, waiting for the other pizzas and pasta. 20 minutes later and there was still no additional food. The waitress (who showed up late to work) then stumbled over to the table (once she realized someone was actually there) and we asked her when the rest of the food is coming out, her response was "Oh, I don't know. I just got here; I'm super late. I'll go check on that right now." She came back about 5 minutes later and indicated that the pasta, pasta sauce, and another pizza would be out shortly. Another 5 minutes passed and the above noted items came out. By this point, my colleague and I were mostly irritated - and had already eaten some from the minimal available options, so we just paid and left. Overall, this was not a good experience and I'm not sure I'd return to this location again.

Made this yelp account purely to review THIS Pizza Hut. Worst service ever.. More than once. Every time I decide to give it another shot they manage to disappoint. Idiot staff, don't care to check back on you, not particularly helpful in any respect, it is really just the most lousy pizza establishment I have ever been to. Better off eating a to go pizza in the parking lot.

I just wanted to share with you the things that happened at the local Pizza Hut today. We arrived around 5:45 pm in the rain. We sat down and got menus and utensils. I was with my family of five and one of my daughter's friends. While waiting for a waitress to come and acknowledge us, I saw something crazy happen. There was a couple who had been served pizza near us. There was a military man in fatigues at a booth near the window. The waitress came to the couple's table and told them she serve them the wrong pizza. That apparently both them and the military man ordered the same type pizza. A slice or two had been taken out of that pizza on their table. The waitress then took it over to the military man and told him the dilemma and said how odd it was they ordered the same pizza. Yes, she gave him the pizza that was on their table with slices out! The military man didn't laugh but he kept quiet. She walked away and then brought the couple out a new pizza that she said was supposed to be theirs. The guy (in the couple) took a pizza slice out of their new pizza and brought it over to the military man apologizing for the situation. I was in shock a waitress would've served this man the pizza that others had already eaten out of on their table! Then to have this guy in the couple feel bad and give the military guy slices to make up for the pizza pieces missing? And HE apologized? The military guy should've gotten the fresh second pizza given to the couple not some half eaten pie! How is that ok? Anyway, then we still haven't been served. I say aloud to my family, I wonder when she's going to come ask us for our drinks. My kids and their friend complain they're hungry. Military guy eats two or three slices, looks at me and says you better get comfy. I asked what he meant. He tells me "You'd better get comfortable. I've been here an hour and I still haven't gotten the wings I've ordered before the pizza." He didn't even complain about the pizza exchange! So we said "its pouring rain, we will wait." It's now 6:30 and still no one came to ask us our order. Ridiculous! So then, I see the military guy was looking around with an empty soda and actually goes up to the front and fills his cup! What? That's crazy! After that, we decided if this man who hasn't even gotten his drink refilled in the 45 minutes we were there that we weren't going to be serviced anytime soon. To say we were disappointed isn't strong enough wording. I was outraged that they'd treat a member of our military with such disregard and our table of six to be completely ignored. There is no excuse! I'm sure they were understaffed or whatever excuse they can come up with but if that's the case, don't seat people in the dining room. We walked out and went home and had pizza from Nino's. I ordered from another pizza place online while in the rainy parking lot of Pizza Hut. PS I've eaten here before and it was a good experience. I hope that one good time wasn't a fluke.

Every few years I say "We haven't had Pizza Hut in awhile, we should order from them tonight!". Why, having done this three times before, I haven't stopped and thought more critically about that statement is beyond me. Everything from this establishment was obviously frozen prior to its cooking, bathed in grease, and left to sit for an indeterminate amount of time. Pizza Hut must exist to make Domino's Pizza appear gourmet, but I'm getting off topic. The pizza from this establishment was poor quality, unpleasant to eat, and made my whole family feel sick and bloated. We will not be ordering from Pizza Hut again. Furthermore, I've still yet found a way to make-up to my wife for this terrible gastrological insult.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
