Wow. Just wow. I had the Chefs Special- three different macs. One Cajun Shrimp, one Lasagna, and one Holiday Ham. The Holiday Ham is slightly sweet, the Cajun spicy, and the Lasagna, with meatballs. Awesome. The drink, oh my Lord, S'mores Shake, it was....The Bomb. Toasted Marshmallows, with so many tasty goodnesses I will let you try it yourself.... It's that good. The service was great, refills, checked on. They also had a tasty chicken stir fry, and a steak dishes. It's LOUD, sports on multiple TVs, I imagine it would distress kids, and old people. Although our old person loved it....great place.

The worst customer service experience ever. Mac was pretty terrible, and i know good mac. It was 95% cheese 5% mac. Pretty bad presentation as well. I told my waitress we didnt like our entrees and she brought us the bill with 10% off. We literally had 3 bites each. Mgr never came over and i thought at least an offer of something else would be polite. Unfortunately i won't be back to visit.

Inconsistent. Every time I've been here I've received different service and food. The first time was good, but thereafter was a variance of horrible to mediocre. Today I got wings from them that weren't only the wrong sauce, but they were SOGGY and COLD! I will never be back. I've been here about 5 times.

Only 13 reviews... so I'm the 14th review. I ordered the seared tuna an lobster mac and cheese. An I was impressed!

Great food for a bar style restaurant. You choose. Tavern side or family side. Gets loud in the evening but the tunes are good. Weather there's a band or the beat box it's all on all a good place. The owner definitely had something good in mind when they came up with Mad-mac's.

I only had the Mac and Cheese, so this is only based on that. I had the sampler that was offered that night that had the Pizza Mac, the Cajun Mac, and the Hawaiian Mac. I am a Mac and Cheese fanatic, as I could probably eat it for three meals a day forever, and never get enough cheese! The Pizza mad had read gravy and either meatballs or sausage (it's been a little while) in it, and was a good mix of traditional mac mixed with pizza toppings! The Cajun Mac was definitely my favorite! It had crab meat and a little kick of spice, definitely to die for! The Hawaiian Mac was definitely interesting at first, the mix of pineapple and ham with the Mac and Cheese was a unique taste, but it was very good! The others with me also only got Mac and Cheese, and they were also beyond satisfied with their food. I think we are a family of Mac and Cheese addicts! We will definitely be going back here to try every kind of Mac and Cheese on the menu!

I've only ordered delivery from this place and the food comes in a reasonable amount of time, still hot. I LOVE the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and I would recommend it. I've had it twice and it was awesome both times. Even though there is shredded chicken throughout the dish, they place a boneless buffalo bite on top of the cheese crust, which is such a cute touch. I didn't like their version of mozzarella sticks (the name is escaping me at the moment). They were cooked too long and very greasy. The delivery guy was very friendly. I would definitely order from here again to try other combinations of mac and cheese.

Only gets any stars because the food is good. Took 2 and a half hours for our order to come 5 miles!!!!!!! We had to call back twice to get our food!!!

This place is not what it's cracked up to be! I went on an empty Sunday and it took 45 minutes to get my food. Also, it wasn't very good and was incredibly overpriced. Not worth it in any way.

Tried this place for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I had the Aussie burger. The wife had the Walkabout Chicken Rolls. It was awesome. We also shared some of the best onion rings we've had and was happy that they had Sam Adams Seasonal as one of the beer selections. The food was so good I was thinking about it the whole week and we went back the very next weekend. Now the opportunities for improvement. The first time we went I ordered my burger medium and it was perfect. The second time it was a bit overlooked so a little disappointing. Also, both times when we first arrived the folks at the hostess station weren't the friendliest (but they weren't rude either) and once we were sat the waitstaff were friendly. Our waitress on our first trip gave great service while our waiter on our second trip could probably use some more training as his inexperience showed but he was very nice.

Came In last night (Monday) for the half priced Mac and the karaoke and I wasn't disappointed! The service was pretty fast, the food was piping hot and our waitress was super sweet. I usually stick to takeout after the previous horrible experience but I'm glad I have them another chance!

If you like a lot of cheese on your mac n cheese, this is the place for you. It wasn't bad though. The mac yielded in a good way despite the abundance of liquified cheese. I had the Chili mac. Great flavor. Would have liked more jalapeños than just the one for presentation. There was a french onion soup type crust around the perimeter of the dish. The larger portion needs to be shared. If you eat the whole smaller portion, you'll be full for sure. I also had the steak n cheese spring rolls with a semi sweet spicy dipping sauce. Beer selection was good. Bartender was working hurt, (hungover) but functioning adequately.

Brought RJ here because I told him how great the mac and cheese was. The bar was full, and how ridiculous was it that we were told that we couldn't sit at the many empty bar tables because they were "reserved for trivia". ON A FOOTBALL NIGHT, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? So we sat on the empty restaurant side (is it a mystery there were no customers? I think not) where they had a baseball game, a hockey game, and zero football games, and the hostess continued to turn away business for "trivia". We shared the Cajun Shrimp and Crab Mac and the Lobster Burger. The mac and cheese was fantastic, thick and cheesy with a lot of shrimp, but very little crab. The lobster burger was a huge disappointment since I only like my burgers with pink and requested it that way, and it was served overcooked with no pink at all. We also ordered bleu balls which were nothing like the last 2 times I had them. They used to taste like chicken cordon bleu, now they are dry blobs of shredded chicken. Mad-Macs is no longer on my list of places I will suggest, and since I tell everyone I know I will make sure the word gets out not to bother, especially if you like football. There are so many other good places to go that actually want our business.

Was stuck between two and three stars, but I will go with two because, despite the quite good namesake mac n cheese, everything else was sub par. Mad-Macs is a great example of all the things that can go wrong with a restaurant other than food. Dining with my wife and her brother, she said, upon being seated, that this place "could be on Restaurant: Impossible." Couldnt agree more! It's dark, its attached to a crappy bar, there are stupid signs on the wall in the waiting area (ala Applebee's) and the entire dining room just is awful. A good rule of thumb- carpet in restuarants SUCK. Also, there was a fruit fly problem. Ewww. All this criticism being said, the food was good. Great? No, but good. We started out with apps. The Chesapeake Philadelphia Crab Pretzel and their version of mozzarella sticks. Well- thats what we ordered, but out came our fries first (which we ordered with our meal of mac n cheese...) The Chesapeake Philly Crab thing was ok. It was a legit Philly pretzel, baked with crab, cheddar and old bay. I must admit, though I love Philly pretzels as much as any red-blooded South Philly boy, cooking with them usually ends in disaster. This doesnt quite fall into disastrous territory, but it was a failed experiment. Had a similar dish at the Pop Shop in South Jerz, with similar results. The mac n cheese was good! I had a featured flavor- "The Fiesta." It was filled with pork and salsa and cheese. Very Americanized- and I mean that as a compliment. Loved it. The baked on top cheese was awesome. Huge portions! My wife and brother in law got a classic and a pizza mac n cheese, respectively. I have bites of both, and they were both tasty. Very good beer selection. Maybe catering a bit to the big companies, but made an effort to get some micros on tap. Very tasty, especially for a place so far from anyone with good beer taste (no offense, Delawarians...) The desserts were... crappy. I dont feel like talking about them, honestly. Sorry. Overall, I really dont know what to say. I wish as much effort was put into the seating, cleanliness and overall presentation as is the delicious mac n cheese. Someone obviously has a passion for baked pasta and cheese here, and it shows. If only Md-Macs could match that passion with a better place to chow...

After our group of 5 was seated, we waited more than 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. Eventually, we flagged down a server, who said she would check who our server was. After 5 minutes, we were still waiting. While this was happening, the restaurant was mostly empty, the table next to us had gotten drinks and placed their orders, and several servers were sitting at a nearby table wrapping silverware. It was really bizarre, so we ended up leaving.

I love Mac and Cheese so I love this place! I have enjoyed every Mac there! Great service as well. On Saturdays they have karaoke.

So here's a problem: What the menu promises and what you get can be quite different. I ordered the eight-ounce burger topped with corned beef. (Sorry, I was experimenting.) What arrived was closer to a four-ounce burger. Very salty, with almost no burger flavor. It was supposed to come with onion rings, but I got french fries. The waitress argued with me when I brought this up, but she relented, and did bring out some onion rings. The fries and onion rings were quite good. Service was slow and not very ept. My artisanal beer didn't have much flavor. Prices aren't provided for beverages. I asked, and was told one thing, but another price showed up on the bill. (It was lower, so I didn't complain.) I'm amused by the other reviewer whose wife said this place could be on Restaurant: Impossible. I think that's a good observation, though I suspect the owners were more hoping for Drive-ins, Diners and Dives given the cutesy menu.

The food was amazing & service was awesome! It's a cool restaurant because one side is dinning and the other side is a bar area with dinning tables. We ate on the bar side. There's plenty of TV's in the bar area and as we were leaving they were starting up a trivia and karaoke thing, seemed pretty cool but we left because we had already been there for about an hour an a half. The food was very very good. The portions are very filling. We all liked what we had gotten. The wait was a little long but it was pretty busy so it was understandable. The restaurant is unique but approachable. I would definitely recommend it.

We went here on a Sunday late afternoon for the sole reason is that I purchased a Groupon based on their menu. First impression as we walked in, it had a funky (unine cake) smell to it and was pretty much empty. Of course the A/C was blasting and I think the outdoor temp was maybe 65. We each ordered a burger based on the other yelp reviews. We also ordered an order of the snooki mac to split. As far as the burgers, you could go to ANY of the major fast food joints and get better burgers. MM's burger were 1) small 2) meat was dry and overcooked despite asking for medium temp and 3) not flavorful. And even the bun was dry and obviously not fresh. The Mac-n-cheese- was definitely the highlight of the meal. Very good. Service was decent. The girl was had was new and kinda quirky, but she was nice and friendly and was doing her best to please. So, I'm not going to complain there. I think if they got their burgers to a good/tasty/juicy/bigger level...they have a good thing there when combined w/ the mac and cheese...but I do not see us going back.

I Really enjoyed the food. I had the sampler and tried the Popeye spinach with goat cheese, the four cheese, and the seafood MAC. My son had the four cheese. Nice size portions, enough to take home. For desert we had the mini brownies with ice cream which was large enough for both me and my son. Friendly staff but slow service. Almost forgot...the crab fries are epic. Better than C&P.
