I ordered the wonton soup and it tasted like water with salt mixed into it. My friend and I were pretty bummed. I ordered the lunch special which was such a great deal. The price is great that's the reason I gave this place two stars despite the horrible food I received. I mean I live in an area where Chinese food is a huge demand. And thus more competition is developed within the city. Dc has a Chinatown and a pretty heavy Chinese food influence. This further drives the competition. And I know the competition is pretty intense in large cities. I also know that if you serve Chinese food like this in any major city, you would go out of business pretty quick. So with that said, I may not be the best judge on this Chinese restaurant in comparison to this area. Because the area in which this restaurant lies is pretty dead and not too many restaurants are nearby. But, this is by far less tasty than Panda Express and that actually says a lot.

I have been coming here for 10 years. Food is always ready on time. Cooked well, Very good taste, not the best of all Chinese but pretty good.

This place has the worst customer service I've seen in a long time! Ordered food for delivery, hour and a half later the food still hadn't arrived. I called to inquire about my order and they informed me that they forgot about it. I tried to cancel my order which I had already paid for online and the manager said that he couldn't stop my payment or refund me. So I had them fill my order and deliver it anyway. I was offered no apology nor any compensation. When the delivery guy finally shows up he asks for the money I had already payed online!! Never again. Oh, and my soup had hair in it. :(

Not the best in town but they're not the worst. Solid experience but I have had better.

I gave this place four stars rather than three because they are consistent with the food that comes out of their kitchen. Their food isn't good nor bad; it just is.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
