Delicious pizza, gyros, and salad. This restaurant is so well-managed and the food is unexpectedly excellent. I'm not a huge pizza fan normally, but this place is a real winner!

Hello, Best Thing in Delmar. Hey, hi. Can we be friends? Good food, friendly staff, really cheap prices, big portions, and a lot of options on the menu. Their pizza is one of the best I've ever had, but the rest of the menu is excellent, too. They have enough vegetarian options that I can get something different every time (I recommend the eggplant parmesan sub though) and I hear that the meat dishes aren't too shabby either. The only bad thing about this place is its popularity. It's crowded at dinner time on weeknights and absolutely packed to the rafters on Friday and Saturday nights, which makes service slow and the wait staff have short-term memory problems. And if you're going with anyone in a wheelchair, tell them to bring the smallest chair they've got, because navigating between the tables is always difficult and always disturbs other diners, who have to get up and push their chairs in. You can go here with a wheelchair, but don't do it if you're shy. It's a local place, with local customers and staff, and Delmar Wildcats football jerseys on the wall. That said, it shouldn't be just a place for locals only. I really do think the food is good enough that it's worth a stop on your drive down the Ocean/Shore (select as appropriate).

It doesn't get any better than this if you want the best pizza and Cesear Salad! His special sauce has secret ingredients that he measures and weighs out to assure consistency and quality. Waitresses are excellent, friendly and attentive. They even remember your names! Love it there! Can't wait for Tuesday so I can go again! Great Greek and Italian foods. The lasagna rocks!

The pizza here is FANTASTIC! I haven't had anything else....but the pizza is SO GOOD. The crust is nice and crispy and the cheese blend is GREAT. I can't wait to go back.

Very family oriented. My family ate a house salad, buffalo wings, and a BBQ chicken pizza!!! The salad was good. The hot buffalo chicken wings were bland and one had blood still in it. Yuk! The pizza made up for the chicken though. The pizza is very tasty!!!! Just come for pizza!!

Athenian and artichoke pizza is sooo good and I like their rice pudding and wings. Get their house-made blue cheese for the wings, not the packets.

I love the pizza at Delmar Pizza. The pasta is lowsy. The problem is the pasta sauce they use. It's way too sweet to the point of being inedible. Makes me wonder if they are using Chef Boyardee for their pasta sauce. It also tastes like they dump olive oil on their pasta. If you want better pasta, go down the street to Milano's. It's much better for pasta.

Just a great experience, the waitress and hostess could not have been nicer. The salad with the meal was excellent. I had basic spaghetti with meat sauce, it had a unique taste, but be prepared the serving was large. I will be going back. It is noisy with kids.

I love this place, not just because it's close to my house but for the variety of food. It's not just a pizza joint. Quite frequently, I get the dinner they offer. Many of the specials can be found on their Facebook page and at a reasonable price. While I rarely dine in, the few times I have were great. Oh and can't forget its one of the few places that has Maryland crab soup year round.

Not just their pizza is amazing, but really everything is! When I go for lunch I usually order a large cheesesteak with a side of small fries. For dinner I either get their baked ziti or rigatoni ala amatrice. I recommend this place to anyone.

Terrible chicken cheesesteak! No meat and loaded with mayo! Would never ever go back.

This place met all expectations! We were in the mood for gyros, but since our regular spot was closed for the off-season, we had to find a new place. After reading the reviews on Yelp, we decided to give this place a shot and we were not disappointed! It's a laid back place where you can carry out or dine in and seat yourself. It was a clean, friendly atmosphere and our gyros were great. We will definitely be back to sample everything else on the menu, since there is so much to choose from. Great food, better prices, and quick service makes this place a go-to for us!

Fabulous pizza and fantastic, fast service! A large variety of options on the menu, besides the tasty pizza, which would cover everyone's interest. The pizza is the best on the shore, hands down. Would definitely go there again, and again.

The best pizza I have had. I have been going to Delmar pizza for as long as I can remember and will continue to. The toppings are top notch and they POUR them on. The crust is also very good.

Don't be fooled, this place isn't a complete townie place. Don't be intimidated of the local high school football jerseys hanging on the walls, you won't feel like a leper when you walk in the door wearing something other than a Delmar Football shirt. The food is absolutely delicious and the pizza is second to none. It has a Greek-like crust and a sauce that is more sweet than spicy. Go for the Delmar special pizza - there's lots of flavor in the veggies. One downside is the sizes of pizzas are small, large, or extra-large. The service is extremely friendly, too. My best friend, my fiance, and I came to Delmar Pizza on Christmas Eve afternoon for lunch. We were able to watch the Ravens game and enjoy unbelievable pizza. For $46 dollars, we had a large buffalo chicken pizza, a large bacon and pineapple pizza, the appetizer sampler (a little on the smaller side), and four draft beers (that I may or may not have consumed all of them). Did I mention it's on the Delaware side of Delmar... and you know what that means... tax free!

How can this place be so amazing and so inexpensive at the same time? Things to order here that I sometimes dream about: Greek salad: huge, FANTASTIC dolmades, perfect greek dressing, all of the fixings you'd expect Baklava: basically inspired me to learn how to cook Calzone: nuff said When I was in elementary/middle/high school, it seemed like just about every social gathering was held here. It has a special place in my heart. Another important thing to realize is that EVO is served here. Sidenote: I am so so so proud that EVO came out of my "hometown." It is fantastic and rivals quite a few more established microbreweries I've tried. The bottomline is, anything you order from here will be fantastic. I'd suggest ordering less than you think you need, portions are oversized.

I had heard great things about this place, so I was quite surprised when the service was less-than-stellar and the food... meh. I was greeted by a gruff hostess, who quickly sat me at a table directly in front of the cold breeze of the constantly-opening door. Once I got seated, my order was taken promptly. The broccoli bites were great, even though they seemed typical of this type of pizza joint. But then the Chicken Taco Salad came. Quite disappointing, because this main course prodded one of my biggest pet peeves. The salad included onions and peppers, neither of which are listed as ingredients on the menu. ("...topped with savory strips of grilled chicken breast, a blend of cheese & sliced black olives, served in a crunchy taco shell with salsa & sour cream"). But then, once I pushed the dish away to indicate to my server that I was displeased, it took a good 20+ minutes for her to ask what was wrong. They eventually rectified the order, and the server apologized profusely for the blunder. But, my impression was already soured. I might try it again to see if my experience was isolated, but I was not impressed my first go-round.

Inspired by the great reviews here, I stopped by to order a pizza. The employees I dealt with seemed depressed -- no smiles, no happy greetings. The pizza itself was nothing to rave about. The crust was thin and the whole thing seems slightly undercooked. I won't be returning.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
