Reviews:
Great soup, decent sanwiches, quick and convenient if you work downtown. Highly recommend for lunch during the week. Line never gets too out of control.
Consistently happy with their soups. I love trying the samples because I often branch out to a new soup. I've never had a soup at Zoup that I didn't like. I usually order half the chicken Toscana sandwich. It's not consistent and is supposed to come on country French bread but sometimes comes on a sub roll. I don't know if it's because they frequently run out or what. That's my only complaint.
April 2013: Lunch at Zoup is a pretty good deal compared to most of the alternatives in the neighborhood. Being able to sample is nice, and although I haven't found any really special offerings, I've enjoyed the mulligatawny and the chicken corn chowder. The sourdough rolls are very tasty as well. The salads are also fairly substantial and are a pretty good deal compared to similar offering from, say, Chopt. September 2014: I'm giving them another star because their two-for-one deal is among the best cheap lunch options in the neighborhood: pick two from a side soup, a small salad, and a half sandwich, usually for $8.50-$9.50. I typically go with the tuna salad sandwich with lemon and capers and a salad to be named later.
