When was the last time you had handmade pizza? I mean really handmade. No mixer. The owner mixes the dough everyday by hand. Fabulous! She is the only employee and dedicated to her craft. Don't expect fast as everything is done by hand but it's worth the wait.

I really have no idea about the pizza, but the chocolate milkshakes are a must when my parents and I stop by Walden. While you wait for the milkshakes to be made, peruse the vintage items for sale in one corner of this huge former dance hall. It's a weird, dimly lit space, and the bathrooms are eccentric (though clean), but you'll forget all that once you've got your milkshake in your hands. A cool stop on a hot day. Or, you know, any day.
