I stayed for three days during a week in January. The place is great - very good value. Every unit is different but the unit we had was very comfortable. The gas fireplace was nice, kitchen was nice and well-equipped, the bathroom and shower were nice, modern and clean, and the washer and dryer worked great. We cooked every day and it was really nice to have a kitchen for breakfast before skiing. Free Internet worked great. I was a little disappointed in the bed - the mattress was pretty uncomfortable but the bedding was adequate and I slept ok, but I'm sure the beds are nicer at pricier places in Vail. Our balcony was directly facing the freeway and I had no issue at all with any traffic noise. Grocery and liquor stores are just a few minutes down the road. The common area was nice with two hot tubs (very warm and comfortable) and a heated pool that was heated enough that people were swimming when it was about 5 degrees F outside. There's also a sauna. It was very cold out and walking over the bridge was no issue at all for us. I'd say it was maybe a 7 minute walk. You can put all your gear in lockers at Vail Ski Tech which is very convenient - pretty much exactly between the condo and the gondola. I would definitely stay here again. We also talked with several families in the hot tub - very friendly - and all of them have come back to this place for years.

Enjoyed staying here for Christmas 2011 weekend. Great value compared to other Vail accommodations, mainly because of slight walk (1/4 mile) further from LionsHead across pedestrian bridge over interstate highway 70. Furnishings in the condo very modern and efficient, convenient. Nice common area with 2 hot tubs, heated pool, and cabana with separate/private shower, rest room, and sauna. Friendly and flexible staff. I welcome the opportunity to return in summer season!

I'm a huge fan of this place. I have stayed in a variety of hotels in vail, (check out my other reviews). What's really nice about this place is the overall combination of variables ($, location, quality, etc) $: Location: good. It's walking distance and very close to everything. I would guess it's a 10 minute walk. Compared to staying in east vail and taking the shuttle it's a no brainer. It's not as close as hotels in the village or in lionshead. But I have to say it's a really really good combo. Be prepared to walk up steps to get to your condo, ours is on the 3rd floor. I think if I was traveling with my mom I would definitely want to reserve a first floor place. b Quality: place is very clean, very big (we got a 3 bedroom) Beds are OK, not super comfortable compared to 5 star hotels I've stayed at. But definitely fine. Not an issue. Hot Tub/Pool: Great... super nice, very close WARNING: you can not actually reserve a specific unit... even if you book a specific unit it is not guaranteed until you show up. The rental office is right on the main site which is cool as we came in late and the keys were there without having to drive 10 miles to the "rental office" .... if you have been renting condo's on ski resorts for a while, you know what I'm talking about. Parking is included with the reservation. all 6 of us took a surburban out here. I'm not sure if you can get more than one car per reservation NOTE: our unit only had one humidifier. we called the desk and they had other ones they put in the room for us which is cool. With any place in the mountains, I strongly recommend having a humidifier in your bedroom(s) Special surprise: filtered frige water... each condo is set up by the owner so I'm not sure how many others have a fridge with the water hookup. however I usually have to buy some bottled water in the 2 gallon jugs... not here :)

Stay: 9 days Pro: Nice comfortable place, affordable. Each have a patio or a balcony. Equip with a washer and drier, refrigerator, stove dish washer, microwave, dinning area along with silver wear and dishes & TV's. Interior of condo clean. Pool and Spa area are well kept. Free Wifi. Next to bridge connecting to other side of frwy making for a brisk 7min walk to the Marriott. Also next to a bike trail, go for jog and bike with the Family. Downside: Each are privately owned. So doing a walk through, all are set-up differently. Some having up multiple personal pictures of the owner/family. Unfortunately the beds in our condo were hard as a rock, difficult getting good rest, so bad we went out a bought an air mattress. But not all were so. Condo across had an awesome bed. Although beautiful view of the mountain is great, the noise from the frwy not so great. I would defiantly rent here again, though the rating a "4" secondary to the bed situation and the noise. Overall a good place and good deal.

Great location and spectacular views. A little bit of a walk to the village but the peace and quiet is worth it...once you get used to the altitude :)
