Friendly, friendly service! And very helpful. Really thin pizza crust so not sure where the Chicago comes from, but it was decent. We go buffalo chicken - definitely some kick to the hot sauce. My nose was running (but I don't really eat much spicy stuff). Also tried a meatball sub - was also good. Not sure if the Fritos that came with it were meant to be put on the sub or not, but I enjoyed the crunch! For being in Vail, definitely not a bad option of where to get your grub on. Little pricey, but again...it's Vail.

We saw this place while heading to our hotel to check in. Thought we would grab some pizza to bring back to the hotel room. I am not sure why the place is called "Chicago Pizza" as being from Chicago it is known for deep dish pizza. This is not thin crust but thin pizza. We paid around $25 for this pizza. It was just meh...it was fine. Next time we would try another spot.

If this isn't mass produced frozen crust that's reheated, then Chicago Pizza has successfully done a perfect job of recreating the flavor of mass produced frozen crust that's reheated. Oh, did I mention it's terrible.

First the positives, person who answered phone and delivery guy were very friendly. The pizzas were easily the worst pizzas we have ever eaten and they were not cheap. We ordered two 12" pizzas. The 3 cheese on thick crust: crust was doughy, very little cheese on. The other, thin crust with anchovies n pepperoni: my husband did not like. He said frozen pizzas taste better that that. Both came up to $39. I would have preferred to go hungry.

Chicago Pizza is locally owned and operated which I like. The Greek salad is awesome. It has fresh cucumbers, black olives, tomatoes, and feta. A large can serve a family of six. I love the veggie pizza too. The veggies are alway cooked through and the crust is perfectly crispy. Plus they deliver and it never takes too long for dinner to arrive.

We had a restaurant.com coupon so we decided to try Chicago Pizza. We didn't check their hours, so we arrived about 15 minutes before they opened. The owner (Mark?) greeted us and asked how we heard about this place. When we mentioned the coupon, he said something like "oh, I figured if you were sitting outside waiting for us to open, you must have a coupon". Kinda felt cheap and unwanted. Nevertheless, we ordered one pizza and one calzone. Both were okay, but nothing to write home about. We didn't even eat our leftovers and I love cold pizza in the morning. Since we were the only ones there, the owner did eventually come out and talk to us and was very nice and friendly. Overall, it was a marginal experience and I think next time, we'll try another pizza place. The crust just didn't have much flavor and the whole things was kind of dry. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

Okay the name is a bit of a misnomer - the pizza here is not Chicago style, it's New York style. But the quality and service are both excellent.

Not sure why everyone is hating on this place but I was able to order pizza all the way from California as a surprise dinner for my sister who was staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vail, CO and they were so nice on the phone! I was able to order and pay for everything over the phone and they delivered right to her suite. My sister took a bite (while I was on FaceTime with her) and she was deeply satisfied (this totally sounds inappropriate but it's true!). She asked me to leave a good review on Yelp and so here I am. She says they even packed a little cup with parmesan cheese for the pizza - I mean how awesome is that? In any case - I am very please with the service and my sister is extremely pleased with the taste of the food. Recommended!

This place used to make a good pizza. Not sure what happened. The crust is basically a pre-made, thin, dry, stamped out piece of cardboard. Nothing special about the sauce or toppings. It was worse than any store-bought pizza. Not much more to say. Don't waste your time or $$.

I only give this restaurant two stars because of the woman working there who was very nice and friendly. No Chicago pizza here - thin tough crust with very little on it for $23.00. Way too expensive and tasted like cardboard. Chicken Parm consisted of some piece of stringy chicken put onto a place of spaghetti with some red sauce that was terrible. The whole thing was put under the broiler with some parm on top and broiled for about a minute. No Chicken Parm here, just some terrible dish that someone made up. I would never go back to this restaurant as it is way overpriced and the food is not good. I have had better pizza delivered from Dominos.

After a weekend of Camping and a late start home to avoid all the traffic on I-70 we realized its 8 o'clock and still haven't fed the kids a "REAL" supper. Apparently Popcorn, Marshmallows and Capri sun doesn't count as dinner, per my wife. With that in mind, we stopped at Chicago pizza along the highway cuz my GPS told me to. By the time we rolled into the parking lot at Chicago Pizza they had been closed at least a half hour. Que cera cera, While bouncing ideas off my travel mates, the hostess came out to offer their services to go. I thought that was very generous, We would have rolled to the more expensive Lions head area of Vail, but this young lady offered to make us dinner. We jumped at the chance mostly because we were tired and hungry, but also because trying a local pizza joint gets my blood pumping. I had to keep it simple, small pepperoni to go and the lady gave me the paper plates and napkins we needed. I think it was 13 dollars even which I felt was reasonable, A small in Denver is around 8 bucks. Add in the mark up because its Vail and the price is decent. The pizza was nothing like Chicago style, but that doesn't matter; It was a thin crust pie, the toppings were abundant and evenly distributed and the sauce was good. The pizza was pretty damn tasty overall. I would definantly stop at this place again. The hours are a bit interesting, 11 to 2 for lunch then reopen at 5 to 9 for the dinner crowd. Word.

Not Chicago pizza by any means. Had 2 carry out last week. It was thin like crackers and sauce was ok but light on cheese. Taste was ok but they were not cheap..
