I don't think that this Brewskis has been open very long. I used to go to the one off of Highway 36 back in the day and I remember it as a fairly rough place at times though it could be a lot of fun because it was always so packed. We thought we'd check it out on a Saturday night. There was plenty of parking and lots of cars so things were looking good. We were carded at the door as a police officer in uniform looked on. Things weren't looking as good, but maybe it was just a precaution. We stepped inside and we were surprised to find it way too brightly lit. There was a live band on a nice stage in front of a dancefloor. They were on a break so they were playing background music. The crowd seemed young and like they were having a good time. We had no problem finding a table near the dancefloor. We sat down and noticed that the only empty tables were the ones near the dancefloor. Uh oh. The band came back from break and they were playing old music. We're talking Eagles and ZZ Top kind of stuff. We guessed that most of the crowd there hadn't heard of any of the music. No one was dancing or paying any attention to the band. Someone needs to figure out what kind of music is right for that place at some point. I found my way to the restroom and asked a girl what she thought of the place. She said that they had been there for about an hour and they had already seen two fights -- one inside and one in the parking lot. We were there for over an hour and didn't see any issues but it seems that the police officer's presence is justified. We only had chips and salsa but they were both pretty bad. The chips were a bit stale and the salsa was one of the worst I've had. But maybe the chips and salsa aren't a good indicator of how the food is. This doesn't seem like a place you'd go to for dinner, though. I hope that they figure out their clientele soon. It could be a cool place. But for now it has some growing to do.

This place sucks! The bouncers are fat ass holes that have very few brain cells! Brother tried to break up a fight and got tackled and kicked by someone 3 times his size. Tried to explain what happened to the manager and he said he didn't give a fuck and to get out.

I've found my Wing place! This was my first time at this bar. It seems like a nice neighborhood place. the wings were crisp and well seasoned (buffalo) not soaked in sauce and not sitting in a pool of greasy sauce. the Bbq Bacon burger was good. The sauce was served on the side in little cups. I thought great they squirted Kraft in cups and call it BBQ, but to my surprise the sauce tasted home made (confirmed by the bartender) The BBQ sauce was a bit heavy on the liquid smoke but over all good flavor. The beef had good flavor but was not seasoned prior to cooking. (a minor point) The fries were crisp and tender inside, overall the food was very good. My visit was on a Sunday afternoon during NFL Preseason so it was not very busy. The bartender took good care of me. I'll be back

I give Brewski's five stars for multiple reasons. This was the first place we visited upon moving into a home nearby (with few options in the area). Of the 25+ times I've been (since late '13), I've never once had a problem of any nature. The food has always been "to order," the drinks are priced & poured right (without question), and the staff has always been extremely friendly. From the bartenders to the waitresses, I've always been treated as if we'd been acquaintances for years; even on that first visit. In addition, they've recently expanded the patio outside (covered & also heated during the colder months, which is extremely nice) by 50%+ in space. Whether to play pool, hangout, grab a bite, converse with folks, or catch a live band, I consider this my favorite spot in the immediate area. Also, relative to some other reviews, in those 25+ visits, I've yet to observe an actual physical fight. On the couple of occasions folks have become heated, either their friends/other patrons/or their own egos put the situation in-check, and the altercation never became significant; nothing more than what occurs at any alcohol-serving establishment I've ever visited. They also have various "events/ themes" on different nights (e.g., poker, ladies' $1 drinks, guys' $2 beers, live bands, etc.). Oh, and they also served Thanksgiving & Christmas meals on the house. Let get real...when "escaping family" becomes necessary on such holidays, or when no such family exists- how many places serve "all you can eat until it's gone" meals for free? (Meaning home-cooked-style turkey & dressing, mashed potatoes, plenty more, and desserts). Yeah...That about does it, but overall: recommended!

Bartenders Dawn and Susan and Jason are cool But I stopped going in. I use to spend a lot of money and time there. But when the wait staff treats me like Sh*t, I just found a closer place..

After being denied a beer at The Glenn because I have an up right I.D. (Company policy) I went to Brewskis. I really enjoyed the band, super jazzy while incorporating modern hit music. Met some cool people and the bouncers even offered to everyone a free ride home if needed, super cool. No cover charge and average prices for drinks.

I think this place used to be a Mexican restaurant, anyways. We stopped in for a beer with a friend. The patio was nice and a great happy hour! I was not overly excited about the food, but my husband and our friend got the burrito, let me tell you it was massive! So all in all, an okay bar.

Wish there was a choice for zero stars; this place is a dump. Living in the 'burbs has its challenges - like no cool places to hang. So on a night when the kids were at grandmas, the hubby and I decided to catch some preseason Broncos action at the local bar. What a mistake and a waste of time. We walked in and it was hard to tell whether it was self-seating or if you needed to wait for a server. While we were trying to figure it out, some dude with no neck sauntered over to us and said "Can I check your IDs?" After obliging, he walked off without a word. We finally settled in at a table and waited. And waited. And waited. The cupie-doll looking servers who look like they may have been hired for their cup size rather than their waitressing skills ignored us. After being there for 10-15 minutes without being offered a menu, a drink, or anything - we simply walked out.

I went here on a weeknight for a beer and a burger. I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like on the weekends or late at night but this place is pretty decent as a low brow neighborhood sports bar. We sat at a table and a waitress was over pretty soon to get our drink orders and give us menus. The beer was cold, the burger was perfectly acceptable so I have no complaints. The waitress was attentive and quick (even when more patrons walked in and she got busy). The only downside is that I some of the clientele were a little on the shady side. But if you want a laid back bar and grill, you should at least check this place out.

Decent neighborhood/dive-bar. Cheap drinks, dark decor. That's about all you need.

My husband and I met at the orignal Brewskies off of I36 years ago, used to practially live there during my single time so, when this one opened right near our house only a month or so ago, decided to try it out this past Friday. Got there about 6 or so, the place was packed! No place to sit except by the kitchen, which kinda sucked and we didn't eat there, just drank. No service where we were sitting but, the bartender was nice. Will have to go back again to figure out for sure if it's a good or bad place but, didn't seem like the old Brewskies though, I didn't encounter a lot of fighting at the old local (maybe didn't remember, lol) no fights the night we came but, we left around 8 or so, perhaps it was too early to tell???? The night we went there was a mix of younger kiddo's as well as those my age and older. Didn't stay for the band.

I swear, I just left there and when I tried to challenge amount of shots (they say nine and I say 4) put on my credit card tab (9 in total), I didn't question the 4 blue moons or even that the first four shots (I specifically recall losing two rounds to some younger attractive female "Nicole" sitting at the bar lost and wanting a rematch - she went to the restroom or maybe to smoke). Anyway, she vanished (after some time) and when I went to check out on my tab. I was advised by "Susan" the bartender that I owed for nine shots and the original beers. When I questioned the nine shots (I was not questioning the beers and 4 or maybe 5 shots only the additional shots that were added to the tab) I was then (that fast) confronted by two large males (hadn't seen these two working the bar before this). I advised them of my concern about the amount of shots added to the tab. They said they was surveillance video to support the charges. I agreed and said lets see it. Of course that never happen and I ended up paying for the nine shots I know I was only responsible for 4 of the shots. Trust me, it isn't the mere 20/ 25 bucks for the other 4 or 5 shots that were added. Its the principle. There was absolutely no negotiation or compromise on the part of this establishment on the amount owed (no trust / no fairness) and the latter night management or muscle only accepts what she (the bartender "Susan" says), then there's a problem. I will not return to this establishment. As a alternative I suggest The "Glen" 112th and Irma (nearby), good service, same atmosphere and NO PROBLEMS / HASSLES.

Sausage fest. Plays a lot of "white man's overbite" dance tunes like Brickhouse.
