Irregular atmosphere. But I like it. A very dated brick interior with local art on the walls. They compliment each other. I wouldn't use the word fancy. Especially with cocky college aged male waitstaff. Not very attentive to their tables, especially when there is a party at one of the homes later. I enjoyed hearing all about it while I got one refill of water through my entire evening. I don't remember the exact price, but I think around $7 for 4 asparagus spears as a side. I enjoy small portions and high prices, said no one ever. I'd pay the price if the service wasn't so lackadaisical. I would love to give this place 1 star but the live entertainment on Friday deserved another.

Awkward experience at the "New" Park East... Tonight I placed a carry out order and when I arrived to pick up my food I was told by the manager that the weirdest thing had happened... Another man with the same name had placed the same exact order but was given my order by mistake... So, they needed another 15 min to prepare my order. This seemed a little unbelievable but I gave them the benefit of the doubt a patiently waited for my order. As I waited for 35 min in the lobby I overheard the hostess take a call from a customer who was just given the wrong take out order in which was confirmed by the hostess. Finally, after receiving my order I asked to speak to the manager to provide her some feedback. She initially stuck to her story but after I explained what I had heard from the hostess quickly back tracked and would only discount my ticket after I requested it. To add to the situation the only sincere ownership that was taken was from Dylan, the server who mistakenly swapped the order. I thanked him for his accountability but wished his manager had the same ethical value as a member of her service team. Unfortunately this situation compelled me to write this review based on the service and not necessarily the food. In my opinion... The food was great. The steaks are high quality and the loaded mashed potatoes were amazing. So... If you don't mind putting up with some questionable ethical decision making by the management team you might be able to experience some good food.

We went to park east last week for our anniversary and We are glad we did! Bartender poured the best martini I have had in pueblo. I ordered steak and shrimp. Steak was cooked to perfection. I ended up with 1 shrimp,... Only because my wife decided that it was the best shrimp she had ever had! Needless to say,...she ate all but one of my shrimp! She was nice enough to let me have one,....and I would have to agree! Fantastic! Entertainment was fabulous! New hits! Old hits! Just great! We toured the whole building just to look at all the art by local artists. Each room was filled with something different. At the end of the night we left satisfied and very happy. It's a great place to meet friends and family! Best food in town. Great atmosphere. Great service!!! If I had 3 thumbs,... I would give it a 3 thumbs up! Can't wait to go again!

My friend held her rehearsal dinner here a week ago. The atmosphere was great, very cozy and comfortable. The staff was awesome, very polite and attentive to anything we needed or wanted. Food. Meh. I got the teriyaki chicken. The chicken was dry and average at best. My friends ordered the steak which was pretty good.

I gotta say, I feel like the youngest guy in this place every time I go here. Park East is the local divorcee hangout. Food is bland. Drinks are strangely bad. Service is just plain weird, and the ambiance is even weirder. Two thumbs down in my book...

This restaurant is not as nice as it aspires to be. We were seated and waited at least 10 minutes to get water. Once that showed up, we ordered immediately - and the waiter came back twice to inform us that something was wrong with the taps, so we couldn't get the beers we ordered. The second time he came back to let us know that they also didn't have the steaks we originally ordered. Once we decided on something else, I got a fatty new york strip, and my dining companion got a steak (i forget which cut) that was charred on the outside and nearly blue on the inside. Mashed potatoes were lumpy, I had to ask for both bread and butter. House salad was excellent. When I liked the restaurant on Facebook in order to get the discount that was promised on the menu board in the lobby, both the waiter and dining room manager tried to give me a coupon for a future visit hemming and hawing while telling me that maybe I misunderstood what the board was TRYING to say. This place is fine dining in that it has a nice location and fancy tablecloths. The food and service are another story. What I got would be barely acceptable in a Chilis or Applebees, but not for an expensive steakhouse.

I am seriously disturbed at the low rating of this place. Because of the ratings I saw, I had very low expectations. The ambience of the bar area was...low class. However, the dining area was beautiful and warm. I dined in the bar area at the bar, however. The food was AMAZING. I had the chicken parmesan and my date had a burger. He was amazed as well. It was phenomenal. The salads we had were awesome as well. So much flavor. I had the ceasar. It was so delicious. We also had calamari to start. Again, PERFECTION! The drinks were great. They made arrangements to put the game on for us. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 due to the ambience in the bar area. But overall, a great experience!

The ambiance of this place is fantastic. I love the live entertainment on Wednesday nights. It's usually two or three members of Martini Shot doing acoustic covers of anything people in the room shout out. Very intimate setting. The food and drinks are pricey, but definitely worth it. The vegetable tempura is fantastic. Even chinese food restaurants can't beat it. The prime rib is also good. Great place to take a date or your spouse for a special night out.

WHAT??? Why is this place rated so low! This is probably the nicest restaurant in Pueblo. They have amazing gourmet food and a fabulous wine list. The vegetable tempura is to die for along with their house salads. There is nothing like a classic park east salad. I love their lobster risotto. Give it a try!

We eat regularly at Parkest. This is our neighborhood place. The food is consistently good, we love the music especially Jonny Watson. The new chef is more creative. If you have not been there recently give it another try.

This restaurant has good food but the servers are poorly trained. We waited forever for drink refills

Yum. Ambiance in the bar is a little funky (ok...1975 rec room-y) but the bartenders are excellent, knowledgeable, and attentive. Treated myself to a nice meal at the bar on Monday and had a great experience thanks to Kendra who made sure the drinks were stiff (EXCEPTIONAL Manhattan) and my salad and cheesecake were good. A nice upscale option here in Pueblo!

We had high expectations for Park East. I'm an out-of-towner and my local dining cohorts said this was the finest restaurant in all of Pueblo. By the end of the meal we all had a different opinion about the place. We started our night in the lounge. I ordered a Belvedere martini and my "partners-in-dine" ordered two very berry martini specials and a Bud Light. It's hard to screw up a vodka martini and a bottled beer and they didn't. I wish I could say the same for the very berry martini. They were milk-based drinks with a hint of a medicinal berry flavored liqueur. "It tastes like vomit," said one of the victims. Thus began our night at Park East. We started our meal with tempura-battered vegetables. Their temperatures were of the sitting-under-a-hot-lamp-for-too-long variety and were mushy. Next were the salads, which were decent. Mine was a Caesar and I did notice a few tip pieces of romaine lettuce, but I ate it anyway. The bread was delicious, but they ran out of the pumpernickel earlier in the night. The arrival of the entrees is when everything fell apart. The fried shrimp dish was average... Just your basic battered and fried shrimp, nothing special. My chicken parm was slightly dry and under seasoned. The ribeye looked like it was cooked properly but it was a little too tough and the accompanying baked potato was cold. The waiter promptly brought another one but that, too, was cold. And that was really the theme of the night: slightly under fresh, lukewarm food with high price points. Which brings me to the pièce de résistance: the halibut and risotto dish. Never have I seen such a depressing presentation of culinary ineptitude. I'll set the tableau: the dish consisted of a flaccid sliver of white-fleshed halibut perched atop a smattering of what looked like a bed of white rice. I hadn't seen so much white since I was in Boulder, CO. Sadly, the risotto was flat and uninspired and the fish was oozing albumin. For all the Seasons Greetings this past week, we wished seasoning greeted that fish. We opted out of the dessert. This restaurant receives two tines on my patented five-tined fork reviewing system gimmick.

I was very pleased with Park East restaurant. I came from California for the internment of my Mothers' ashes. I needed a room for about 20 family members. I call a few months before and reserved a room. It all went very smooth from that point on. When we arrived everthing was ready and the food was excelent and the service was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant. They made a very unhappy time very pleasant. Vicki B

its one of the places in pueblo open past 9pm on a friday which is how we came to eat there.... the food was good but not cohesive... i had shrimp scampi on risotto, the shrimp itself was good (large and juicy) but the scampi on risotto was very greasy and butter pooled around the edges of the plate with a few scattered spinach leaves. the interior is a little outdated. the dinning population seems to be more mature/established (this isnt a hip hang out for 20-30's) service was pretty poor. i ordered off the house cocktail menu and the waiter had no idea what drink i was ordering he had to go to the bar and look up the recipe. prices are reasonable.

I was told at the hotel that this was the "nicest restaurant" in Pueblo. If that's the case, I wonder about this town. The service was good but the food was poor. We ordered the stuffed chillies since this was the only non seafood item on the appetizer list, and the crab cakes. The crab cakes were poor....seemed like they were frozen and heated up in the microwave. The chillies came to us cold. When I asked if we could get hot ones the waiter disappeared with the two we didn't taste and came back a couple minutes later with them warm. I guess the cook thought that nuking them would satisfy them. They were wrapped in bacon which had also been prepared in a microwave....argh. At this point I knew we were in trouble. Two of our party ordered the steak and they said that they were fair. I ordered the cod....which was fair. It came out very wet (again, I think it was cooked in the microwave and all the water on the plate was from the ice on the fish that melted. There was some sort of white sauce dribbled on the fish. It had no flavor which led me to believe it was warmed up sour cream. I guess the bottom line is, save your money and go elsewhere. This restaurant needs a cook who can cook and not just reheat food in the microwave. Grab a hotdog at the gas station, fill up the tank and drive elsewhere....now that would be worth your time and money.

Ate there tonight since everyone told us how wonderful this place is. Very overpriced for what you get! I had the New York strip, very tough, and nothing special, not a $25.00 steak! My wife had the Prime Rib, I have never seen a thinner cut of Prime Rib in my life! The service was much better than the food, and the place is depressing to go in to. It's very dark, no natural light, felt like I was eating in a cave. Doubt if I will ever go back!

They make a good filet here. Prices are OK - one of the more fancy spots in town if you are looking for a good date location. Bar can get loud and they often have good entertainment.
