Today was my first trip to this little gem. Enclade's is a family affair housed in the historic location of Frank's Deli. I arrived around 11:45a and was seated promptly. I went for the red beans and rice because it's traditionally one of my favorites. They make theirs in the traditional way - with red beans, rice, and a bit of sausage for flavor. It was good albeit not amazing. I'll try something else the next time and the next until I find my favorite! Where the place really shines is the service. I was served immediately, my food was hot, but not too hot. My server was very nice and attentive. The owner came by and introduced herself and we talked for a time about her business. I thanked her for a fine meal and told her I'd be back. Four stars for the simple fact that I've yet to find exactly that amazing dish that makes it a five. I'm certain it's there! I'll update the review when I discover it.

After 3 visits... this joint gets 5 stars. Catfish was Uh-Mazing! Service is always top notch. My son just demolished his hamburger and we can't believe he ate the whole thing. If you're looking for a small, local, gem. This is it. I'll spend the winter months trying different selections from the menu. Next up, Green Chile Gumbo.

We are back again in Pueblo, working our booth at the State Fair of CO. And we just had to go see Lisa at the Enclades and eat us some gooooood Cajun food! I started off with their hand battered fried okra with remoulade. Then we all had the combo plate with red beans & rice, jambalaya, and my favorite, crawfish étouffée! Then we had dessert: pecan pie a la mode, and beniets!

Fantastic authentic cajun and creole food. The red beans and rice didn't miss me! Super delish. Giant bottomless glasses of perfectly sugared sweet tea and service that can't be beat. It is named after the owner and she is kind as can be. I couldn't have hoped for a better meal while traveling from Colorado Springs to Santa Fe.

The place is pretty simple and kind of a dive, but the food and the service are incredible. This, I believe, is the only New Orleans-style restaurant in Pueblo, but it's as good as any thing I've had in Denver. It's locally owned and the staff genuinely seems to appreciate your business. I recommend the crawfish etouffee and the red beans and rice. You won't be disappointed!

This is a gem in Pueblo. The food is to die for and Lisa makes you feel like you are the only customer in the restaurant. It is wonderful. Try the crawfish étouffée. You will never want to eat anything else again.

I went here on a Saturday, beautiful day, it was right around 1pm when we entered. Not a soul in here except the workers. I ordered a gumbo appetizer and was not disappointed. However, I ordered and paid $15 for a Half and Half Seafood platter of shrimp and oysters. Something was horribly wrong with the oysters. I was born and raised in New Orleans and have never tasted a bad oyster before. These oysters are what I'd call bad. Also, the portions compared to the price was absolutely horrible. I've posted a picture of the platter, you guys can tell me if I'm being absurd or not? Would you pay $15 for that seafood plate? I was excited as all hell to be eating here, I haven't been back home since April of last year, so the gumbo made me smile, the platter made me sad.

The food is great, and the sweet tea is incredible! The owner is a super sweet woman who has brought the tastes of New Orleans to a small town, and she has done a fantastic job. As soon as the muffeletta reached the table, I told the waitress that I will be needing a to go box, because the portion was huge! I don't write many reviews, so the fact that I'm taking the time to do this means a lot in my book. I hope to see this place remain successful for many years to come.

I am addicted to this place! Everything that I have tried has been absolutely delicious and I go there for lunch at least once a week. You must try the crawfish etoufee and get the bowl, not the cup. Trust me, you'll want more.

Fantastic. Authentic, made from scratch New Orleans style eatery. Just a few minutes off of I-25, and I try to stop in every time I'm passing through. The gumbo is some of the best I've ever had, and I lived in the Deep South for 24+ years before moving to Denver last year, and have visited New Orleans many, many times. Bread pudding is great as well. Shrimp Poboy is made as you'd find it in N.O. and along the gulf coast. What makes this place the best though is the owner, her story, and her success. Go patronize this little hole in the wall restaurant. You'll be glad you did!

Love this place. Makes me miss my beloved N'Awlins when I go. I had the shrimp étouffée it was killer!!! The owner was such a sweetie, she sat with us and we talked about New Orleans and she gave us beignets to enjoy . You want a nice Cajun home cooked meal without having to drive the 20 hour drive? Come here!

AWESOME! Lisa, the owner, left New Orleans the day after Katrina in 2005. This is authentic NOLA food! Green chili gumbo is a great creation for Pueblo. Muffuletta was delish too. And her home cut fries were some of the best I've had. Highly recommended!!

I met the owner the other day. She's from Louisiana, and brings her love of New Orleans with her to Pueblo. The red beans and rice are creamy and wonderful. Gumbo and Jumbalaya are divine - albeit a bit too salty for my liking. The muffaletta looked huge and tasty (will get this next time), and the okra was spot-on. I wish parking was easier here (it feels like you'll lose a door or side mirror when parked on 4th Street - but that's the City's fault, no Enclades). All in all, good, quick Cajun in Pueblo, CO.

Excellent service and food. A very authentic place that reminds me of the restaurants in New Orleans that the locals visit. Not fancy but a warm, clean, friendly environment and tasty food.
