Casa Mariachi continues to deliver great food and very friendly service. All of the staff is extremely gracious and welcoming. The portions are large and pricing is reasonable. This is a must hit spot in Parker. We wish they were open for breakfast. They also do take out, so your favorites can come home.

Good food. Very good service. Not too accommodating on substitutions. Can get pricey.

Overall good food I love the margarita with guava. Sometimes slow service but overall a good bet

It's alright. Benny's like atmosphere. Staff very friendly. Green Chile was overly acidic. Carne asada was salty and chewy. Enchilada was bland. The sauce was all rue with little Chile pepper. Margarita was good, but on the sweet side. I love Mexican food so I am picky and I know how to cook killer mexican. So if you are looking for good mex food this isn't the place. The name says it all.

No bueno. Ordered a shredded beef chimichanga and there was pieces of chicken in it. WTF

Tied for the #1 position of best Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered the Fajita Trio. My wife had the Burrito Supreme (Chicken), and my son ordered Baja Fish Tacos. We sampled each others items, and agreed that everything was wonderful. Host Saul seated us, and checked on us often. He was friendly and professional with a constant big smile! Everything from the chips & salsa to the horchata (which I recommend) was very, very good! UPDATE: We've been back twice since initial review. I actually think I like Casa Mariachi better each time. Really good!

This is far and away the best Mexican restaurant I have eaten at. I have been going here since they first opened and I am really happy to see them doing so well, they deserve it. The waiters and waitresses work thru tails of to make their customer service top notch. Thank you Casa Mariachi!

Best Mexican place in Parker. The service was great and very friendly. The food tasted good and the margaritas were delicious.

I gave them another chance and they redeemed themselves. Great service and great food. Love their bean dip.

Perfectly average and bland Mexican food. I cannot imagine why anyone would give this place more than two stars. The only redeeming quality is the comfort of the booths and the casual and friendly environment. Not planning to ever go back.

Probably the nicest but most expensive mexican restaurant in Parker but not expensive by any means. There specials are never that special. Their service is good and there decorations are really nice. Its 2nd only to La Casita in Parker in my opinion.

Yum, yum, yum. Delicious Mexican food, very good chips and salsa, excellent margaritas, and great service. The colorful décor was a plus. We'll be back!

Will absolutely be back!! It's been a while since I've had GREAT Mexican food, but they have it. Most exciting for me was the REAL sopapillas and fried ice cream that was so so so much better than other places!! The guacamole was really fresh and the chips were crispy!! They have great deals for lunch, and perfect portion sizes! The wait staff was attentive and very friendly!! I'll be back really soon....probably more than I should!! :)

How did we wait so long to try this place? We have lived in Parker for about 2 years, and never came in until a couple weeks ago. So glad we did. Great food, great service, delicious margaritas. Prices are great, and the servers are SO kind and welcoming. My husband and I went by ourselves the other night, and the server that helped us the time before remembered us and asked where our daughter was and how we were doing. We had only been once before, so we were impressed to be treated like regulars. Great place, which is awesome since our food choices are so limited in Parker!

This place is white wash Mexican but it's the best Mexican food I've had in the area. Thursday's-Sunday's are the busiest but they are usually busy in general so expect at least a 10-20 minute wait. The service is always great and prompt and the food is always consistent. Burritos are awesome and the Mexican Trio is one of the best dishes there.

We eat at Casa Mariachi 2-3 times a month because the food is always so, so good! The food is consistenlty delish and the service is always fantastic! Parker has plenty of mexican food places to choose from but we will always wait to eat at Casa Mariachi.

The best Mexican food in Parker by far. It is our regular dinning destination on Friday nights. Great salsa, bean dip, and chips. Wonderful combinations and specialties. And wow what fantastic house margaritas @ only $2.95 the last time we went. Why bothered with Hacienda?

Came here for lunch and they were pretty busy. Food came out quick but service otherwise was on the slower side. Chips and salsa were good, also came with a bean/queso type dip. I had Chili Colorado and it was very authentic. Good sized portion too, enough for me to take some home.

Casa Mariachi has the best Mexican food in Parker. Their chips and salsa are great and the service is very friendly. Service can get a little slow on weekends but they are always packed and still do a great job. They have a really extensive menu with lots of options, and I've always enjoyed the food. Their margaritas are great too and HUGE!

I think this is the best Mexican in Parker so far. Family friendly and the kids eat it up. Great place.

Our family LOVES this restaurant. We frequent it about once a week. My husband and I get the carne asada and the kiddos love their bean burritos. Chips and salsa are awesome and the staff is super friendly and they know our order by heart. We all highly recommend them!!!

Wow, this place really exceeded my expectations. I visited today, an early Sunday afternoon, and traffic was light but the service was amazing. The food was tasty with good size portions and authentic flavors. I had a burrito supreme and my wife had the green chile enchilada which we enjoyed both of them. We also had guacamole as an appetizer, it was very simple and tasted great. I also had a couple deep fried fresh jalapeños that were hot, they added some seasoning and lime that made them some of the best I ever had. (They were not on the menu but asked if they could make me a couple and they did so with a smile.). The decor was a little over the top but it worked well for some reason, maybe because of the good food and great service. Nice to find quality Mexican food in Parker.

I think this could possibly be the best Mexican Restaurant in Parker. It was packed when we got there but didn't take us long to be seated. The service was good. The chips and salsa were yummy. I ordered the El Trio - since I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted this turned out to be the perfect compromise. It had beef, chicken and shrimp. The Carne Asada was some of the best I've had and the bacon wrapped shrimp were perfectly cooked - shrimp was not rubbery and the bacon was crisp. The Chicken was okay on this dish - It was good but just didn't have the WOW factor that the other two items had. I would have been happy with El Dos at this point. The rice and beans were better than most. I know that these are just sides on the plate but I wish, in general, that more care were given to these two items. They could be oh so tasty but most of the time just added to the plate as filler. I would love to give them a try for lunch, 11 items for $6.99. The menu is huge and offers something for everyone. They have 9 different Chimichangas and over 20 varieties of Margaritas. One thing I did notice is that the menu states $5.00 minimum per person. So if you just want to stop in for dessert ($2.79 to $3.99) you are detoured from doing so. You should give them a try if you haven't already.

We LOVE this place. I almost always get the fajitas, they are the best - the steak is a good cut, the chicken is always good. The enchiladas are wonderful also, my husband gets this huge burrito every time and says they're great. The staff is fantastic, attentive and the food is always consistant. I'm surprised by the reviewer that got bad steak, literally I've eaten hundreds of fajitas here and they're all so good. If they are really busy sometimes it's a little slow but certainly no more so than any other place.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and the most wonderful staff...My favorite thing is the Steak Jalisco, it's carne asada with a chile rellano

I'm not the biggest fan of American style Mexican food, mostly due to the seriously bad Mexican restaurants in Colorado that throw a pint of green chili on a plate and call it good. Casa Mariachi is definitely a step up from the norm. The menu is about seven large pages long and there are about 20 margaritas to choose from, so there's bound to be something tempting for everyone in your party. The marg was strong but good, the chili relleno was awesome (lots of mozzarella, crispy breading) and the shredded beef burrito was hot and fresh. The red beans and rice that you always get at these joints were okay, I don't really partake in those fillers or Mexican garnish as I call it. Staff was friendly and attentive, even the table busser stopped by a couple times to make sure everything was okay. Definitely recommended!

Great place! The service is fantastic - everyone is super friendly. The food is authentic, and very tasty. I had the Steak Tijuana. It was flavorful and the portions are huge. Definitely a great place for lunch and dinner.

Great family restaurant! They are fast, friendly, and have yummy food. We just discovered this gem within the last 12 months, and now each time we go out, the kids beg to go to the "guitar" restaurant. Most everything we have tried on their menu as been fantastic. The only part I was not a fan of was the Mariachi Salad, but I may not have been in the mood for salad that day. Every time we have been in we are greeted with a smile. The service has been attentive and kind. All in all, a great Mexican place in Parker. Try their margaritas!

Pretty standard Mexican fare. There are not a lot of options in Parker, so this place will get you by in a fix. Inside the restaurant, the colors are bright and cheery. The staff was pretty attentive. I ordered my standard carne asada plate with a tall beer. They have a few Mexican beers on tap, which is a prerequisite for a Mex food. My dinner was pretty good. The only downside was the skirt steak after 10 minutes. It is so thin that if you take your time eating, it will dry out and turn to jerky. Mine was borderline. Don't get me wrong, I still ate it.

Still the best Mexican food in the Parker area. I don't eat out often but always look forward to a meal at Casa Mariachi.

This place was not very good at all. REALLY generic mexican food, with nothing standing out at all. The decor is pretty obnoxious american mexican with plastic beer decorations everywhere. The food was very unimpressive, had fajitas and they had very little flavor and were served with baked beans... (what?). My wife had Nachos? They were called Fajita Nachos but were basically 15 chips in a circle on a plate with some cheese and sour cream, no idea where the "fajita" part of them were. Service was slow and they didn't serve my 1 year old anything or ask if she needed anything. There are much better options in the area that deserve your business.

A good solid restaurant, though nothing exceptional. Located across the parking lots from sprouts, it was a little tough to find at first. The inside of the restaurant is standard mexican kitsch . . lots of suns with blue, over color chairs, etc. We arrived with 3 kids, and 2 adults. Had a pretty decent meal between kids options (kitchen fingers, mac and cheese, etc) and two adult meal. 1 - buritto (not technically mexican but) 2 - i went with enchiladas The place had a pretty decent selection on draft, and the prices were fairly reasonable. The salsa and chips served weren't to my taste (the salsa was a liquid. . .). They did give a kind of bean dip with the chips. . .and the chips were free (bonus). I pretty much think this is a perfect place. . .as the sign suggests. . to take a family to a mexican restaurant. You will get standard american tex-mex food, decent beer, and leave fairly happy. I'm not so sure I would go as far to recommend it if your not in the mood for family fair. . .I would probably up the caliber a little and go somewhere else. Yet this place will serve in a pinch for your mexican fix.

This place has had many previous incarnations. When I first moved to Parker, it was a Shari's restaurant (it was pretty bad), then it became an optometrist that I never had reason to visit. Then it was two different Mexican restaurants, both of which were just okay. When I heard it had become Casa Mariachi, I shrugged. When people told me it was good, I was skeptical. But, I grabbed a Groupon to try it out anyway. I went here with Jennifer B. and Cheryl L. (if you have occasion to have them as dining companions, do not pass it up). The place was very busy, and the hostess said we were lucky there was not a line. The service was very good. The food being brought to other tables looked and smelled wonderful. We enjoyed the chips, salsa, and bean dip. Here is the amazing part of the story . . . have you ever noticed that the plate brought to your table almost never looks as good as the picture in the menu? This is true at all kinds of restaurants, from burgers to fine dining. It was not true at Casa Mariachi. Cheryl's Trio plate looked exactly like the photo in the menu, and tasted very, very good. My Dos Pesos dish, was similarly top notch. Jennifer seemed to really enjoy her enchiladas. I will definitely be back.

Best margaritas, best authentic Mexican AND Gringo Mexican food. You must try the Levi Margarita. I've never had the same dish twice, because each dish I've tried is better then the last.

Ventured out to Parker Friday night for a new Mexican joint with Dale Z. and Cheryl L. From what they tell me this location has been a half a dozen different things from another restaurant to an Optometrist to now Casa Mariachi. The menu is massive. Surprisingly not a lot of tacos, they must have decided to specialize in every other dish. We spent a considerable amount of time reviewing the menu. I decided on the pork enchiladas, then the table also got the trio platter that had carne asada, chicken, and shrimp and I forget the other dish off hand. The carne asada was pronounced great and some of the best ever. The bacon wrapped shrimp was cooked to perfection and were pretty big shrimp. My pork enchilada's were simple with large chunks of succulent pork smothered in a creamy cheese sauce with rice and beans. Rice was nothing to write home about, I would take another enchilada in a heart beat. The place was rocking busy on a Friday night, I felt service could have been a bit faster, I felt like I was searching for our waitress at times. The chips and salsa were also very tasty. The salsa had a little kick to it which I always appreciate. Love the spice on your lips. It you're in Parker and looking for some delightful Mexican food, make the stop and get your Mex on!

Casa Mariachi has some of the best fajitas I have had in the metro area. They are not skimpy with the protein, actually caramelize the onions and peppers a bit and actually bring your entree out on a sizzling platter. Both the corn and flour fajitas are great and you get a lot of toppings. Their chips and salsa are great, and you also get a pureed bean dip. We have ordered the queso, but I think there might be other appetizer options to choose from. Tuesdays they have a margarita special and are generous with the alcohol even with a low price tag.

One of the best Mexican restaurant in denver. Big menu with huge portions. Their bean dips is to die for. Have tried something different everytime I am there and it was amazing everytime. Drinks are really yummy too. If you like sweet margaritas try their guava Margarita.

Living in Western NY does not expose one to much good Mexican food. So during my visit to CO, I decided I'd need to indulge in Mexican food at least once. Met some friends here and chowed down here... I had the Mariachi Combo 3, with a tamale, a relleno, and a chicken enchilada. It came with rice and beans and was DELICIOUS. The chips served ahead of time were great too. Very crispy and tasty, served with really good salsa and bean dip. I also had a mango margarita and it was good! The one thing I didn't love was that the blended ice was not really blended. Though it tasted so good so I didn't mind much. The interior of this restaurant is so fun. Bright, lots of fun colors, vibrant! Will be back before I leave!

Last night, we celebrated Mom's Bday at Casa Mariachi. We love this place. The family had the Cinco de Mayo Platter, carne asada, burrito loco, green chili enchiladas (yesterday's special) and chicken taquitos. Big portions and great prices. Really, really good food. We are originally from So. Cal and this is the Mexican Food we love! We eat here often and always have great service, even on the busiest nights. We get lots of chip refills and drink refills. We have never had bad service or bad food. Everyone who works here is very friendly. Mom loves the House Margarita on the rocks. Beer on draft in big mugs is dad's favorite! We especially loved how they put a sombrero on mom for her birthday song.

I come from California where you can find great Mexican food. For the past 3 years, I have been searching high and low for a great Mexican restaurant and this place is it. It's going to be our new favorite restaurant. The people are very friendly and always checking on you. The decor is very nice as well. This visit was my 81 YO mother, husband and myself. The food took about 20 minutes but it was hot and fresh and the portions were HUGE. We all ended up taking some home with us. My mother is very particular when it comes to food and she kept saying how delicious it was and she was so right. The prices were good too! We will absolutely be back!

I don't live anywhere near Parker and now, that pains me... Got into Casa Mariachi Sunday night and the place was packed! Got seated right away and had my arm twisted for a margarita - delish! Next some excellent ceviche and artfully presented. By now the margaritas are kicking in so I'm sorry I don't have a picture to show you. I ordered fish tacos, significant other had carne asada - both were very good as were the rice and beans - certainly made there. Friendly staff - totally enjoyable experience. I may move...

My boyfriend and I go here a lot for dinner. The place is huge, always packed, prices are great and portions are big! It can be a little loud, but I don't think they can help that. I get acid reflux pretty easily, especially from Mexican, but not from Casa Mariachi.

  • Mary S.

There is one thing I have to suggest about this restaurant is this: get it to go, or just accept that if you dine in the service is terribly slow. The food is great which is why we keep coming back. We typically get it to-go because of the dine in service. My husband and I have tried several dishes always pleased with the quality and taste.

Best restaurant in Parker hands down. The service is great and they are peanut free! The food always comes out piping hot and is very fresh and the portions are generous. Make reservations in advance on a Friday night or weekend because they are busy. The pollo asado burrito is amazing!

This restaurant is a solid 3*. My wife and I went for lunch and dinner approximately a month apart. The lunch menu was reasonably priced and contained a wide variety of options. I had an enchilada, rice, beans, and an iced tea. My wife had a taco, tostada, and two margaritas. The food was decent but nothing special. The margaritas were above-average, as was the value. If Casa Mariachi were judged by that experience, it would have lived up to its 4* Yelp rating. However, our dinner a month later was a disaster. This time, my wife had the chicken enchiladas. It came with a white sauce which she thought was creme-based or cheese-based. Instead, it was nothing more than sour cream. Her meal was a simple chicken enchilada smothered from top to bottom in sour cream. It was borderline inedible. I ordered the daily special, which was a chicken burrito. It was decent, but again, nothing special. Casa Mariachi gets 3*'s for its margaritas and value as a lunch spot. When compared to other Mexican restaurants in Parker, it is above average. Still, it does not crack my top 20 Mexican restaurants.

I was underwhelmed. People raved about the chips and bean dip, etc/ They tasted like Aldi tortilla chips with a warmed up can of retired beans. The burrito I had was good, not great. The service, though, was really poor. The restaurant was about 1/3 full, but my server never came by to offer me refills or check back after bringing my food. I wouldn't recommend this place. Not horrible, just not worth making a trip to.

I have been driving past this place for months and wondering it is a diamond in the rough or just another restaurant in one of those spaces that seems to have a new place every 6 months. Well I am happy to say it is a winner and I hope it has some staying power. We got seated easily and our chips, salsa and bean dip (nice touch) came out right away. Great start, but the service slowed after that. Honestly, we were half way through the chips when they finally took out drink orders (they had a Cuervo 1800 $5 marg on special). We finished the chips by the time we finally got our order in - so it was really insanely slow service. I had an enchilada plate (corn tortillas, beef & red sauce) with rice and beans. It was very good. The beef was well seasoned. The red sauce was packed with flavor, but not much heat and the beans were very tasty. It was topped with a fresh cabbage garnish that was a nice touch. I really loved the festive atmosphere and food, but the service needs some help. I think we will be back, but will keep our fingers crossed that the service speeds up!

Warmly greeted and immediately seated with fresh chips... The margarita was a very generous and freely poured drink. Like others who have reviewed, I was hesitant to try this restaurant due to the previous failed restaurants in this location... big mistake. This place has VERY good food. I had the Mariachi Tacos with an a la carte Relleno. Both were excellent. I will definitely be back!

We came in on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch and they were pretty dead. By the time we left they were pretty full, though, so I guess it's a matter of timing. First off, let me say that the service was SO slooooooowwww. I think we sat there for about 10 minutes before they came and took our drink order ($5/Cuervo 1800 Margs, with a kick). The drinks came out about 5 minutes or so later and the server eventually wandered back by and took our order. The chips and salsa and bean dip were especially good. I know, because we worked thru a couple baskets before our food came out. The food was the saving grace, though. I got the burrito surpreme and it was scalding hot .It was definitely one of the better burritos I've had lately. And the service did eventually improve. We were only dry for 5 minutes or so before they asked if we wanted another marg :) I'll definitely be back. Just hope the service gets a little faster!

I've now tried Casa Mariachi twice since moving to the area, and I always try to reserve final judgment on a restaurant that I liked the first time until after the second visit, for confirmation. Casa Mariachi impressed just as much on the 2nd visit as the first. It's a pretty standard fare Americanized Mexican food menu, but food comes out hot, servings are more than generous, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. The rellenos are my favorite, so far, but the menu is quite long, so I am excited to keep coming back to find more favorites. The beers are tall and cold, and my girlfriend absolutely adores the peach margaritas. During my last visit I saw (and smelled) their fajitas being served at a nearby table, and I know exactly what I want to try on my next visit.

My family really enjoys this restaurant. It is one of the few places that is worth the wait. The servers are always very friendly. Chips and salsa are served fast and fresh. We have had a variety a dishes and have enjoyed them all. For me the stuffed shrimp and fajitas are favorites. The atmosphere is good as well. Definitely worth a try and above average for Parker.

  • Billy F.

Well this is going to be a weak three stars...the salsa was pretty bland and the bean dip was well...bean dip. Neither one of them were terrible but not spectacular either. I had the chicken fajitas that were pretty decent...but once again not spectacular by any means. Now the part that i did not like was the service...slow and not very attentive. Ran out of water, never got lemons and never got plates for the chips and cheese dip. for two entrees and cheese dip to cost over $50 (with tax and tip) i would expect better. Not sure if i will go back...not going to recommend this place to anyone but won't be a total loss if you go...

Friendly fast service. Good food and nice clean restaurant. The atmosphere was fun and colorful. The salsa here is great , and they also give you bean dip with your chips. I ordered cheese dip as well, so by the time the food came, I was full off chips! (Nothing new, I always do tha when I eat Mexican!) But I did enjoy my chimichanga and look forward to trying new dishes here as well.

We waited 17 minutes to place our order although the server was apologetic when she finally came to take our order after I asked the hostess to find her. My boyfriend got the Carne Asada and loved it. ..very tasty. HOWEVER...my beef enchilada and chicken soft taco combo was horrible. Extremely bland and both had an odd taste. Bloody Mary's were great. Pretty bad when the best thing I ate was the complimentary bean dip. Won't be back.

We love everything about this place! Fresh delicious food, excellent service and cheery kind staff! You've gotta try it, we experiment trying different items every time we go and its always amazing, always delicious!!!

OMG! I moved to Parker 3 months ago and finally made it over to Casa Mariachi. I have to order my standard fare, Chicken Burrito with lite Rice - to measure my taste buds. All I can say, is I could kick myself for waiting so long to get over here. My Burrito Supreme was delicious and the El Presidente was seriously excellent. This restaurant would give any SoCal Mexican restaurant a run for their money. The service was excellent - what more can I say? This is a great place and will definitely will be back...a lot!

Best Mexican restaurant in Parker! Love the bean dip that comes with the salsa. The food is always great and the service is excellent! Churros are the perfect end to a delicious meal!

This place was pretty good! We came here about two years ago when it first opened and it wasn't that great, but they really improved! The food was very tasty and the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely come back.

Excellent service! Awesome Margaritas! The Iguana, El Presidente, and Tropical were amazing! Delicious bean dip and salsa! The Burrito Supreme will fill you up! The Border enchiladas were incredible! Skillet steak with queso smothered all over! Can't wait to go back before we head back to Cali.

Fantastic staff! Food excellent! Margaritas are the best I've ever had! We have been going to Casa Mariachi since it opened at least twice a month if not every week. We love the carne asada! HUGE portions, tender juicy flavorful and fantastic. Ask for one of the special margarita's they are truly memorable. The bean dip and salsa is always wonderful and we like to add the cheese dip to that mix. The staff already knows that of course so they bring out the cheese along with our two margaritas as soon as they see us come in. It's one of those Cheers type places where they learn your order and your names quickly. Other favorite items are the fajitas, the chimichangas, and the wings. It's very kid and family friendly and on Tuesday nights they have live entertainment too.

  • Peter S.

Excellent food and extremely friendly service! The mole is very good (although not as chocolatey as some might like), as are the fajitas and the arroz con pollo. The service is always great, even when they're really busy (and they do get very busy!).

Warm Bean Dip, Carne Asada, crispy releno and a Cadilac Margarita! You cannot go wrong! Love, Love Love this place!

Knock out margaritas and very good and fresh ceviche when they have available. The rest of their menu is pretty main stay mexican americanized but the staff is awesome and the service great!

Read the great review and decided to try it Sat night. We were seated quickly, but then... Everything was average at best. Chips average. Burritos average. Service slow. Beer was good, but wait; it was in a can and a bottle. At least it was quiet so we could talk. I don't plan on returning.

After 2 years of passing this place and many more from my fiancé, we decided to try it cuz it's close to home and were tired from a long trip. We weren't disappointed. Everything was fantastic! My fave was the tamale. I love tamales and try them everywhere I go. It was so creamy and flavorful. I didn't think you could describe a tamale as creamy, but I was wrong. Superb!

  • Bryan B.

I'd give them 4 stars for the food but they serve Pepsi which is horrible with Mexican food. They need Coke and Fanta to go with the food. I'll be back then.

We have been going to Casa Mariachi for about a year now. The food is some of the best food we have every had. The mango margaritas are a must. The service is usually pretty good, we have had slow service and very quick service just really depends on how many people are working and how busy they are. I have never felt that it was unreasonable for the service and I am pretty picky. When we have company or are out to celebrate this is our place. Atmosphere is very good, colorful, clean and the staff are always polite and well dressed.

This was my first trip to Casa Mariachi since it changed from Bamba. I was pleased. Some of my old favorites were there like the free warm chips, salsa and bean dip. I had a super delicious crispy chili rrellano. Our server was ok, probably would have been better if I spoke Spanish. Ill go back.

A festive atmosphere, and fast friendly service make this Mexican restaurant among the best we have sampled in Colorado. I got the vegetable fajitas which is sometimes a crap shoot- but I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of vegetables and they were crispy, fresh, and not overly cooked. They were not on the menu, but our waiter quickly agreed to have them made. My partner had the chicken enchiladas verses which was an abundant plate of cheesy, chicken goodness. The service was attentive throughout the meal. Gladly recommended.

I have been Casa Mariachi several times since moving to the Parker area last year. My favorite is Hacienda but if I'm not in the mood to drive across town Casa is always my next choice. The place is extremely clean, lively and feels very authentic. I've met the owners on a few occasions and they seem very honest and down to earth. How could you not want to spend your money at a local establishment. The food... I've had the chimichanga, burritos, enchiladas and carne asada all of which have been amazing. The margaritas are great as well. The chips are good but the salsa could use something, it's just not spicy enough for me. Tortillas and guacamole are some of the best I've had. I've tried other Mexican food places on Parker road and this one has them beat.

  • John W.

The new ownership here has taken an OK place and made it into a place I want to go to. The salsa is not gringo salsa. The menu does have gringo options but the spicy dishes are spicy. The staff here has been great and the baby quotient has gone way down. Now the place makes for a decent date night. I don't drink margaritas but my wife is very fond of the Blackstrap Margarita.

Great chips with salsa & beans! I love their colorful interior. My husband and I came here for lunch. I ordered shrimp & vegetable with rice and my husband ordered tacos. (Maybe Brito? Can't remember! He said it was good.) My food was excellent! Everything tasted fresh!! I normally don't crave for mexican food but I want to go back and have same plate. It was that yummy :) Oh, and their waiter was great too!

    (4)

All I can say is "yummy!" Ok, maybe that's not all I can say... their food is excellent.

    (4)
  • Allie G.

Salsa was good! That was about it!!! Green chili tasted like it was from a jar or better yet a can. Taco meat had the same consistency of canned cat food!! The waitress was nice but if she wasn't so busy looking around while taking our order, she may have gotten it right. Had to get up and get our own napkins. Had to ask several times for water. It was horrible. Not many good Mexican restaurants in Colorado let alone Parker so when we saw a few good reviews, we were eager to try. Bad idea!!

    (1)
  • Travis B.

The food was decent. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. The good part was they were very accommodating of the allergies of one of the person eating with us. The bad part, the wait staff had to be remind several times that we didn't receive our order. It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food.

    (3)
  • Cass D.

I thought it was decent, but I'm not entirely sold like the rest of its patrons apparently. Atmospherically the place is nice, very festive, and for decor compared to all the rest of the places in the area I think they win. When it comes to food, I didn't care for the chips, salsa, or bean "dip". The salsa had a weird flavor which I couldn't place but really didn't like. When my plate came, I wasn't a fan of the beans on my plate either. They were so runny that they basically were all over my food. So pretty much most of my plate tasted like beans. These need to be thicker. The rice was good and I had a combo plate with a hard shelled chicken taco, a crispy relleno and a tamal. My tamal was mostly masa, little pork and not very strongly seasoned. The relleno was ok, not my favorite but by no means the worst. And again with the pre-made taco shells *SIGH*; aside from that the chicken taco was pretty tasty. The meat in my taco was 3 times more flavorful than the meat in my tamal. This is another one of those places that I feel spreads your food across a big plate to make you feel like you are getting what you pay for. The service was alright, we had to ask to move because they put us right by the door and kitchen and there was a serious draft coming from somewhere. I don't know about you, but when I am eating comfort food I want to be warm, not have my teeth chattering. The bathrooms were really clean, which is a good sign...

  • Clayton B.

Stopped in here the other night to try it since it is fairly new. When you first walk through the door you will definately be awakened by all the colors. The food was really good. And the Margaritas were just as good. The only complaint we had was the fact that the Fish Taco's were made with Mayo! Really, Mayo?

Great place for Mexican food.... We go back time and time again.

  • Dave S.

Anytime you get bean dip and salsa with the basket of chips, it's a good sign. I had the Chile Verde. Pork tenderloin chunks in a verde sauce. Meat was tender and was fork soft. I'm never a fan of tenderloin in verde or carnitas because it's too lean and lacks flavor, but this was done where the meat married well with the chile.

This is a decent place for a Friday night dinner that will deliver. Staff was excellent, very attentive. Very kid-friendly. Servings are quite generous but not mind-blowing. A good standby.

Was feeling a little mexican and this place was across the street so why not. We beat the crowd for a friday night which was great. Very standard bright and vibrant mexican decor. Kind of hideous actually. Our waiter was super excited, nice and friendly. Chips, salsa and bean dip to start. Both are pretty darn good. Salsa not hot but not mild. Has a little late hit of spice just about right good flavor. House margarita was by far the cheapest. Was actually not bad. Usually house ritas are just tons of sweet and sour, which is heartburn in a bottle. But this was a little lighter and tasty. Tacos al carbon, were great. Flavor really good, only concern is they must have been sitting for a while, you couldn't pick them up and eat them without them falling apart. But taste was very good. The girlfriend had a chimichunga. It was huge basically served on a small pizza pan. Smothered in a cheese sauce. This was spot on and was amazing.

Finally ate at Casa Mariachi yesterday. Lunch with four friends. The food was so good. I don't do beans, but everyone else loved the bean dip. I loved the salsa. We were all very happy with our food choices. I had chicken tacos. Ate one and brought the other home for another meal. Passed on the retried beans so was served a large dinner plate of rice. Rice and beans come with the lunch specials. Our waiter was very attentive without being a pest, and the owner stopped by, too. Plans to go back? Absolutely, and often, too.

The service is great and the food is good, but it can get packed on the weekends. The food isn't exceptional but is good standard mexican fare that stays consistent over multiple visits. They do have great margarita specials (pint glass for $2.50 and they're strong) and the combo platters are huge. If you are in Parker, you won't be disappointed but I wouldn't drive across the city for it.

Our family LOVES Casa Mariachi!! Their Cadillac Margarita is seriously the BEST restaurant margarita in Colorado!! The food is good- lots of options for my vegetarian family, but the service puts this place over the top! May not be the most authentic Mexican food, but the chips & salsa are good, the bean dip makes my kiddos happy, and the margaritas are out of this world!!!

  • Charles T.

Absolutely fantastic! I'm writing this review from the table immediately after dinner and have to say this place is great. The food is just a full of flavor as the colors in the place. Everything is perfectly seasoned and the portions are huge and filling. The staff is welcoming and friendly even though we showed up a half hour before closing.

  • Amy W.

This is our "go to" Mexican restaurant in Parker. It has great food, a wide variety of menu items and great service. The staff is always extremely friendly. Service can be slower than average at times, depending on which server you get but it's never to the point of ruining your experience. We are a huge fan of their chips, salsa and cheese sauce.

    (5)
  • Kristi D.

We love this restaurant, since it changed hands. The food is even better than Bambas was, and the people are so friendly and fun to dine with. Not the cheapest Mexican food in town, but definitely the best.

  • Shannon M.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience here on Friday. The staff was inattentive and slow. The chicken in my ancho burrito was dry and the regular freshness of the ingredients wasn't there. Not sure what is causing this to go a bit downhill but I hope that it was just a bad day and they will go back to their original high quality of service and food.

Finally tried Casa Mariachi thanks to the reviews, and it did not disappoint. We came here on a Friday night around 6. Had a 15 min wait but we were able to grab a drink. The house and Cancun margaritas were both very good. The bean dip, salsa, and guacamole were all excellent. The hubs and I both had combination plates. Giant portions of deliciousness. Between the two of us we had the beef tostada, beef burrito, beef quesadilla, beef taco, and chicken enchiladas. Service was a tad bit slow when we first sat down but the place was packed and had even more people waiting when we left. Our waiter was a sweetheart. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars is because I am extremely selective about Mexican food and nothing has beat what I've had in Albuquerque.

  • Bridget M.

Food was awful. My husband and I shared the Border Enchiladas. Steak was over cooked and very salty. Chili con queso sauce was velveta and the beans were watery. Bean dip was watery also. I'd say the only thing that was good was the salsa. Plus my glass was dirty. Customer service was ok but they did ask us to move for a larger party.

New place in Parker. New decor is great, bright colors and very clean. Food was very good as was service! They made sure to meet gluten free needs!!!

This place is great. Surprisingly great. We didn't expect much but have become loyal customers. The service sucks occasionally depending on who you get. The food is consistent and our favorite waiter is almost always there with a huge smile. The shredded beef taquitos and chili rellenos are exceptionally good here and the prices are very reasonable.

I was really really disappointed by our experience here. Being new to the area we rely heavily on others reviews of the restaurants we choose and with 4-1/2 stars we figured how could we go wrong? Unfortunately the only thing with any flavor that any of us had was from the soda fountain. The atmosphere was fun (the kids loved it as it was indeed very bright and colorful) unfortunately the food didn't measure up and was greasy and bland. On the bright side: service was exceptional... however I don't think we'll be going back.

OMG! I read the other reviews and was looking forward to trying it out. We went on a Friday at about 3:00pm. We loved it all. The decor, the music and, of course, the food. My son said it was the best Taco salad he had eaten and I loved my combination platter. My husband had the Carnitas Tacos and he loved it too. The service was excellent and super fast and the price was great (beverages and food for 3 came to about $43.00). I look forward to going there again and again. Muy muy RICO!!!!

  • Criss V.

Great new place for Mexican. Friendly service and great, quality food. They have an extensive menu and offer non Mexican items as well. The decor is very bright and cheery. Will definitely be returning! Only downside was the wine wasn't chilled. But who needs Chardonnay with nachos? I opted for a cold Corona instead. Check this place out. It'll satisfy your craving for Mexican!

My wife and I always love coming here. We've taken most of our friends who are all now regulars. We've been coming since they opened. Awesome food, great jalapeño margs, and the staff is refreshingly personable. It's a busy place sometimes ..but there's a reason for it. They do a great job!

  • Rikki M.

The smell alone is like a little Mexican heaven;) when you walk in everything is clean and nice looking. Lots of people inside, but not noisy. All of the staff are super nice, and even the bathrooms are super clean (which is not always the case, and a big indicator of a good restaurant)! The food is pretty darn good, the only thing was that their chile rellenos are more like a chimichanga than the traditional batter...still yums though. Tho-longer straws would be nice... I felt like I had camel lips every time I tried to work that short straw out of the top of the glass. Not super attractive.

I love Casa Mariachi! Great food, amazing margaritas! I thought I posted a review a while back, no idea how I missed it. I always pick here for my Birthday meal choice and get the fajitas! I can't remember the name of the waiter we usually get, but he's exceptional! We've never had bad service, always good/great, but he is Johnny on the spot! Fajitas are my favorite, but we've had a lot of the menu and yet to have a bad meal, so feel free to experiment, but we always come back to the fajitas! The are the only shrimp fajitas I've ever liked and I really love them! Now the drinks, amazing value! I've gotten totally tipsy on just two drinks, but never had that sick feeling you get from cheap tequila! Not sure what is in the house margarita, but it's awesome! They also do some great beer and other specials. Nothing better tan a giant frosted glass of Dos Equis after a long day! Occasionally my wife lets me order fried ice cream and it's my favorite dessert!

  • Matthew M.

Had the fajitas and they were delicious. Lots of good Mexican places in Parker and honestly it's hard to tell one from another. This one has a good location. Friendly staff. You won't be wowed, but you won't be let down either.

  • Kaeti R.

They deserve more than 5 stars. The food is amazing, we haven't had something we didn't like. Love their lunch specials! We never have to wait to be seated, unless we go on a Friday or Saturday night, and even then it isn't more than 10 minutes. We love that they remember who we are and what we like to eat. The chili relleno is deep fried and delicious. Chicken fajitas have a lot of flavor. Enchiladas are good too. We don't have anything negative to say.

    (5)
  • Cecilia P.

The service here was nice. We got a few burritos and shared them. They were tall good. We were seated immediately and our food did come quick. Out waitress was very attentive and kept our drink full. I felt that the prices were reasonable.

  • Nika T.

Went here for lunch with a friend. Service was polite but food and service was quite slow. I liked the salsa and warm beans they serve for free but my enjoyment ended there. I ordered steak fajitas but the veggies were a bit over cooked and the beef was a horrible cut of meat and it was very tough, chewy and stringy. My friend ordered a grilled chicken and veggie dish and kept commenting on it being too oily for him and he is not a health nut by any means. Rice and beans were pretty average, so no redeeming qualities there either. I wouldn't come back given that it's not nearby and nothing stood out as especially tasty.

  • Elly S.

Bland, boring, fatty, faux-Mexican food. I've seen a lot of reviews questioning how this place got a 4-star rating; I can tell you how: Parker doesn't have very many restaurants, period. (In fact, the local Hospital cafeteria also has a 4-star rating.) So something of this quality might get a pass here, but probably nowhere else. The food - as I mentioned before- is nothing to write home about. Yes, you get free chips and beans, but the question is why would you want them? Tastes like they come from a can. The service is as lacking as the food. Apathetic staff. Would not recommend.

I came here last weekend with my mother and my little sister on Saturday morning. I love Mexican food. LOVE. Mexican is one of my favorites. When we came here, I got the tostada supreme, with shredded chicken. And it was very good for a near-by Parker Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was really nice, a lot of stuff about liquor around the restaurant, haha. They had salsa and bean dip to go with the chips they brought out. It was soooo good. I was full on the chips and dip before my food came, so by the end of the meal I was stuffed! Sadly, as I was eating my tostada the tortilla on the bottom got soggy because it was a corn tortilla, not a hard shell. Other than that, it was really good. It came with guac and sour cream on top. Yum! It came with a side of rice and beans, and I couldn't even finish it all. Definitely not healthy for my stomach, but good for my soul! My little sister got the chicken fingers with french fries. I had a few of the french fries, pretty decent. Good place to go with kids. My mom also ended up ordering some sophapillas while I was in the bathroom, which was a great surprise! They were mini ones, and it came with 6. I ate three of them, and they were so good. Sophapillas are my absolute FAVORITE. Would I come back? Of course. This is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in Parker.

My fav mexican in parker. This place is great. It has amazing lunch specials where you get a ton of food for nothing! The chips and bean dip/salsa are great too. I think the atmosphere and menu is fabulous and we always get great service.

  • Skyler N.

Decent service can't make up for the flavorless food here. Easily some of the worst Mexican I've had since moving to Colorado (and that's saying a lot). Everything is fried, half of my food came out cold in the center. Bland guacamole, watery salsa, clearly reheated ingredients. They couldn't even get the fried cheesecake desert right. I tried a mojito, the wife had a margarita and neither were anything to write home about. The meat in the fajitas was not good, and the enchiladas were just bland and bad. If you really like Mexican food, avoid this place.

Left after waiting 30 minutes past our reservation time. Staff and management didn't even care.

Horrible customer service. "Manager" Aurturo has the customer service and managerial skills of a teenager about on par with his staff. For a 7:00 reservation we sat and waited for 35 minutes before leaving. HORRIBLE customer service and no matter how good the food might be - we will never be back

If you like flies, stale chips and luke warm beans this is the place for you. I am no foodie but love good Mexican. This place just doesn't cut it. I cannot believe the reviews of this place are as high as they are. Maybe I came in on a bad day or maybe the bar is just too low in area. Really, there is no real good Mexican in Parker. The closest decent place is in Castle Rock. But, I will keep looking and continue to pass by this place without any intent to step foot in the door again.

Being from South Texas, I've had my fair share of good Mexican (Tex/Mex) food. When I moved to Colorado, I didn't expect to be able to find decent Mexican food. Fortunately, I've found a few places that are quite good. Casa Mariachi is one of these places. Food: Five stars. The food is great. If I didn't know I was in Colorado, I'd think I was back in Texas. There are some very minor flavors and/or things that i think could be a bit different, but there are preference - and not worthy of mention nor a star reduction. Service: Five stars. Overall, the service is great. The serves are attentive and work hard to make sure the guests are taken care of. The prices are also quite reasonable. Overall: Five stars. There are few things that this restaurant could do better. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for some good Mexican food in the area.

Have been eating here regularly for years - friendly staff and consistently good food. Some days can be a little slow, but that means they are busy, which is a good thing. Grilled chicken burrito with veggies is my favorite, plus the colorado burrito. Chipotle enchiladas are also yummy. This is not your premier fancy foodie kind of mexican, just a good dinner out.

We have been here twice and have been impressed both times. They give u a delicious bean dip with ur chips and salsa. And the food has been delicious both times. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because their is always a wait for a table when we go in. But that won't stop us from going back again.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes.
