This place is top notch! My wife and I traveled to Palisade to celebrate our anniversary and we couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. Tom was the best host ever and we really enjoyed his company. The place was immaculately cleaned, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing! I happened to leave my tablet in our room when we left. Their service is so good that they dropped it in the mail the next day so that I wouldn't be without it for work. If that isn't great service, I don't know what is. I highly recommend this place! We could not have asked for more! Great weekend!

We had a great time celebrating our anniversary at the B&B! Unfortunately we only spent a short night here. The room we had was beautiful and came with an amazing bathroom! The huge corner bath tub was my favorite! Cathy and Tom stocked everything you can ever need all over the house - glasses, cups, wine openers, plates, cookies, candies, water, soda, towels.. The bed was really comfortable. The living room was cozy with a chess board and lots of movies to choose from. In the morning, a delicious breakfast was served. We had banana pancake and candied bacon. Portion was large you would not be left hungry! I wish we could stay a bit longer and get to know our host and this beautiful small town a bit better!! This is one of the best B&B I ever stayed at and will definitely recommend to anyone who comes to Palisade!

Glad I didn't listen to Bethany G's review when booking a place for our wine country weekend... Seems she had hurt feelings :( Our experience was fantastic, but rather than going into a long-winded synopsis... Ill just give you the pros and cons! Pros: - Location - walking distance to the best restaurants - Cruiser bikes - only $10 for your whole stay - perfect way to see the vineyards in town! - B (ed) - quaint, victorian house, newly renovated, AC/heat, very comfortable king beds, private bath, wrap around porch, hot tub. - & B(reakfast) - WOW. Beautiful and delicious. Red pepper and goat cheese quiche, maple smoked bacon, gluten free walnut drop biscuits, cinnamon swirl French toast, applewood sausages, fresh peaches.... Drooling - owner, Cathy, is a treat Cons: - floors and doors a little squeaky, but it's an old Victorian house - train tracks through town - conductors blow the horns pretty aggressively at the main crossing down the street. Will wake you up if you're a light sleeper. Bring ear plugs

Great place to stay! The suite was charming and very comfortable and the breakfast (as well as cookies, muffins, and coffee/tea!) was something to write home about. The location was a very nice walk to downtown and several restaurants/wineries. Cathy and Tom were wonderful and we would absolutely stay here again

Wow! What a charming, cozy, adorable Bed and Breakfast within close walking distance to the brewery, distillery and several wineries. I'm so glad we checked to see if there were any rooms available at the last minute. We called at 6pm on a whim before booking a room at the Wine Country Inn, and to our pleasant surprise there was one room left. It was even cheaper than Wine Country Inn at $99 which was an incredible steal for the treatment we received. We stayed in the Blue Mesa room, which was fantastic. There were so many little touches that did not go unnoticed- luxurious bedding, a mini-fridge in the bedroom stocked with waters and sprite, cookies and snacks for late-night snacking, etc. There is also a hot tub free for use at any hour, as long as you're mindful of noise. Most hotels close/lock them up at 10pm. Robes provided in room too. In the morning we were treated to an incredible breakfast: cilantro and roasted red pepper egg soufflé, rosemary/raspberry cookies, fruit, fresh juices/coffee....seriously- this beats typical continental breakfast any day. I believe the owners mentioned that returning guests receive 10% off their next stay too. We will most DEFINITELY be back!

So, there's this little bike tour that goes through Palisade wine country once a year, and we're a bit late to the game in trying to find a room. I understand that, and so as I called this charming-looking B&B, I tempered my inquiry and asked "is there any possibility that you have a room available September 20-22?" How was that question received? Well, with an immediate laugh, a bit of a snort, and the words "there's no way!!" If I enjoy my first visit to the town of Palisade and my first experience with this bike race, will I plan ahead for my accommodations for 2014? Absolutely! Will I be giving A DiVine Thyme Bed and Breakfast my business then or any other time of year? "There's no way!!" ugh... you are not god's gift to the weary traveler. Please adjust your tone next time you're working with a potential customer.
