I've ordered delivery here several times. There has been a few snags. The first time they forgot egg rolls but i call and they replaced them right away. The delivery times have always been consistently fast BUT i have always CALLED. I've used the online delivery thing w/another restaurant and it took like a previous commeneter said three hours. (ridiculous) . As far as the eats go the won-tons are pretty damn good, along with the egg rolls and fish tail appetizer. The curry soup was so-so, teriyaki chicken was bomb, orange chicken was really bready but good flavor, and the other chicken dishes i've had have been good. I will stick to the the chicken dishes that aren't breaded. I will most definitely be ordering from here again. Happy eating!

Ordered my food at 6:30 pm. The stated delivery time frame was 45-60 minutes. At 7 pm I got a call from Eat24 telling me that my order would be delayed by up to an hour. I was ok with that. Figuring I would have my food by 8 pm. At 8:45 I hopped on the live chat with Eat24 and the representative contacted the restaurant. The restaurant had LOST my order and would have food to me in 10-20 minutes. The food finally arrived at 9:45. It was COLD and half my order was MISSING. Not only did it take 3+ hours to get food, they went ahead and charged me for the "meal" Not nice Tasty Garden.

My family orders from this restaurant on a regular basis, perhaps once a month. Last weekend, I placed an order for delivery and was told it would take 45 mins. It actually took an hour and a half plus our order was not correct. Our soups were missing and they had given us the wrong appetizer. I immediately called the restaurant and made them aware of the error. But, instead of offering to bring us the missing items or refunding us the cost of them, I was given the choice of coming to the restaurant to pick them up or being given a credit for two soups and a shrimp appetizer on our next order. I found this to be very disappointing, especially since we are frequent customers calling often enough for them to know what we normally order. This poor service has made me think twice about placing any orders with them again in the future.

Fast delivery in the Northglenn area. The lady that runs the joint is very nice if you eat in. However, I have only dinned in one time last year. The Masman Curry, Pad Thai, Sesame beef, fried rice and War Wonton soup are delicious. Grab a menu for good freebie coupons for ordering.

Good food but the egg rolls and egg drop soup were bland. Also only got 3 packets of soy sauce. Could have used more, it would have improved the egg rolls.

Small, mom and pop business. Extremely under rated, due to bigger Chinese venues in area. Try the shrimp, it's big and cleaned (unlike many Chinese restaurants). Nice, friendly take out, small cafe atmosphere.

I've ordered here a few times. Very fast delivery! They have a really good amount of fake meat entrees for vegan/vegetarians! Hot & Sour Soup is my favorite. Drinks are cheap. I would recommend.

Yuck. Ordered delivery. Lady on the phone was nice, and the delivery was fast. Everything was so salty and oily. Swimming in soupy sauce. It was salty to the point of being really inedible. The only saving grace were the krab cheese wontons, which were, as other reviewers have noted, light and crispy.

I've ordered food from here once, but I ordered several dishes so I hope this is helpful. So... I ordered vegetable lo mein, as well as vegetable curry with faux chicken and vegetable garlic "beef" with a big container of rice. It was all very good but I particularly liked the curry. The curry sauce was very good and abundant enough that it made sense to stir in some rice. It also came with a variety of vegetables cooked in the dish. The lo mein was also very good and could of been a meal in and of itself. It had some mushrooms, bean sprouts, and some greens; the sauce was also good. Then there is the garlic beef, which was good but maybe a little sweeter and less "garlicky" than I was expecting. Of the three it was probably be my least favorite but it was still good and had an assortment of vegetables. As for serving size, the dishes were reasonable for the price and if I use all of the rice it would altogether be a good amount of food. The delivery guy was nice, but you obviously don't have much in the way of an interaction. If you take something significant away from that exchange it's probably a bad thing. But I digress. Someone called me, however, (perhaps an owner?) to ensure that my order was correct. I thought that was kind and something you don't often get from more chain type places. I suppose the only real critique I have, and this is somewhat nit-picky, but I eat a lot of rice and the white rice I received wasn't as soft as i'm used to.

Great food, great prices. The portions are huge and the service was great. Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in, but it was fantastic! Looks like a family owned business - looked like several generations working.

I just can not find a good Asian place around here! If anyone has a good one, PLEASE tell me. I looked up reviews and this place seemed to have decent ones. This couldn't have just been an off night. We got orange chicken - it was TERRIBLE. Tasted like orange windex cleaner. The egg rolls and dumplings were terrible. The crab cheese won-tons were okay but there was barely any filling inside. The fried rice - is NOT fried rice. It's brown rice overcooked. I've never had that issue before. The only semi decent thing was the beef lo mien but that was comparing it to the rest of the meal. I had to pick one thing to eat and that was it. Where are these good reviews coming from?! Does the area around here just have such crap choices that this is one people actually like? Yuck. So disappointing and a waste of money. Overpriced and gross.

We have tried this place several times. They are one of the only deliver places near us, but we have always really enjoyed the food. It is a little expensive which is why I am giving four stars but I always get delicious, hot food every time. No complaints here!

I just ordered food from here this evening. I went because I saw the good reviews. Not sure what the good reviews are for. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the only good thing about this place is the fortune cookies. The curry was absolutely disgusting. General Tso chicken had more batter than chicken.

It took awhile to find good chinese food around here but once we found tasty garden there was no going back. Not only is their food great but their service is wonderful. We order once a week probably they always remember us, our order and address and they are so pleasant.

Every time I order take out it's ALWAYS late. They said it would be 30 minutes and we are going on 1hr 20 minutes. The lady said my food has been in a cold car for 45 minutes and hung up on me. Food came and it was cold! This happened more than once!

Expensive for the amount of food that I received!! It tasted good though! Don't know if I'll order again due to the TINY amount of food we got for the $$$

I tired this place out as GrubHub was recommending it, so placed the order for everyone and all was good. The food arrived when they said it would, and was till hot, so that was a benefit. The orange chicken was barely cooked. I'm not talking the fried outer coating, but the actual chicken was raw. And the orange sauce was so incredibly bitter, it wouldn't have been a pleasant experience to eat anyways. The sesame beef was terrible, burnt, and over sauced. When I say burnt, I mean the meat was charred to a crisp before the heavy sauce was poured on. The cream cheese wontons were delicious, as was the hot and sour soup. The wonton soup came with one wonton, but wasn't bad in general. Sadly, I feel this might be a rare occurrence in bad service, but I am not willing to give them another try to find out.

Strip mall store front restaurant, but serving up some seriously tasty food. The food was probably some of the best Chinese I've ever had. I always use crab cheese wontons as a comparative tool, and their's were delicious! They were nice thin wontons, creamy cream cheese and you could actually taste a little crab in there. I also really appreciated their egg drop soup; it wasn't watery or bland, rather it was a nice eggy broth with just enough egg, tofu and flavor. We all ate something different and everyone enjoyed their meals. If I loved the food so much, then why not 5 stars? Well, because we dined in and it was pretty standard seating and obvious that sit down business is not their bread and butter. The waitress was nice but she was also always on the phone taking to-go/delivery orders, and it was just clear that is the way to go with this place. Unfortunately, I do not live in the area so I will never be able to take advantage of that, but if you live close by- check this place out!

Food was delivered fast but wasn't the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. I don't feel $ and size of entree were proportional.

This place is bomb!! My husband and I have tried so many Chinese places that are local and deliver because that's the best way to have Chinese if you ask me! We always find a place that has something really good and their other items seem to lack. Well we FINALLY found a place that has the best fried rice, with sprouts it's delicious!! Also the best eggrolls mmmm. We also had crab cheese wontons and a combination platter and it was all so good!! We will definitely just go here from now on!

Moving to Denver from the Southern USA, I have to say that this is so far the best Chinese Restaurant. Its definitely not easy to find a good Chinese restaurant in North Denver. Everything here is good. So far, nothing to complain about. I have also ordered online, Delivery take about 30-45 minutes.

I have never been inside the restaurant, but every time my husband and I order Chinese, we always order from Tasty Garden. The prices are good, and you get a lot for what you pay for; we always have enough for lunch the next day. The food is always delicious. They arrive at our door in a good time, and the food is always hot. They're very good with accommodation on the comments. I always have to write in beef for the soup because I can't eat pork, and it's always correct.

Never again! Gross food, bad service, and very expensive for the small portions. It took them an hour and 25 minutes to deliver and the food was cold. Please read the reviews before you consider eating here. Waste of hard earned money!

I don't very often leave reviews, partially because I cook for a living and know how crushing it can be to get a bad review, not to mention how crushing the boss can be. So when I do receive exceptionally amazing service I try to make sure and leave a good comment. I have ordered good now a few times from Tasty Garden and both times the food had arrived hot and timely. But really what sells me is the cheerful person on the other end of the line when I call to place my order. Is important to support what you appreciate.

Really impressed! Our regular place let us down last time, so we wanted to try something new. I think we might have found our new favorite place. I was able to browse the menu and place our order from my phone. I received a confirmation via email and was given an estimate for arrival, which the driver beat by 20 minutes. I loved the wife variety of options and the ease for perusing and placing our the order. And the good was really great. I enjoyed the Vietnamese combo w/ egg drop soup, chicken wings and egg rolls. Great job!

I placed a order today and the food was great. I ordered the crab wontons, cashew chicken and broccoli beef. Tasted freshly made, not greasy or oily , the veggies had the right amount of snap when bit into and the servings were generous . When I placed the order online it informed me that the order would take roughly 50 mins to be delivered. Well it arrived sooner and was delivered by a pleasant individual. My order was in a box and nicely stacked so that nothing was falling over or crushing anything. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them in the future !

Ordered takeout at 6:45pm. Egg rolls, wontons, potstickers, chinese donuts, egg drop soup, hot & sour soup, beef with broccoli and szechuan beef. Food was alright... to be fair I probably would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't taken until 8:20pm to receive our food. Ordered two meals and appetizers they gave us no sweet and sour sauce and two packets of soy sauce.... Although we didn't even need the two soy because they forgot our steamed and fried rice. How do you forget the rice!? When we called them back they said they would bring us rice in 30 minutes....Um no thanks I already waited an hour and a half!

Delicious! We ordered General Pao's Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken and everything tasted great. Took a little while for it to be delivered but the delivery man was very friendly.

I used to be a fan of Tasty Garden, however the last two times ordering here the delivery took almost two hours to get to me after calling it in. Also both times the food has been wayyyyyy to oily. I feel like the dumped additional oil on the top, the kung pao was so greasy I couldn't eat it. I don't know if they got a new chef and new management but I wish they would go back to the way they were. I will be using Chans Inn from now on.

don't let the looks deceive you. One of the top Chinese places I have ever had. There vegetarian meats are incredible.

I ordered delivery from these guys because I haven't found a good place that delivers. This is by far the best. Their crab wantons are the best I've ever had so far and their fried rice and hot tea is good as well. I got the general tso chicken and the sauce was delicious! The breaded chicken is not super crispy but its not soggy either. I was skeptical because I like crispy better but this was really good. Delivery time was not fast but close to on time and the prices were average.

Fast and good food! We were in Thornton for a business conference and had lunch delivered. They were fast and it was old fashioned Chinese delivery food but that's what we wanted.

It's tough out here in the burbs to find a decent anything. This place is pretty darn good. Like most chinese take-out places it's small and lackluster on the inside. But the gal who took my order was friendly and even suggested using some of the coupons on the menu. I had the panang curry which was great, and my husband had chicken & broccoli. He said that the wonton soup was not his most favorite ever, but was good. Their menu is HUGE and has Chinese, Thai, and Vietnamese style dishes. Definitely will have again!

Just straight up great Chinese food! We just moved to the area and I am addicted. We get it delivered and they are always very polite on the phone. The menu is big and has many choices. I love that you can order a small portion so we can get a variety, and my 12 year old gets his own sesame chicken. The food is hot and always a quick delivery. It is an easy dinner solution I use at least once a week.

It might be bc we had a big order ($50), but they took our delivery order sat night when they closed and it was snowing. He showed up with a smile on his face. The food was amazing too! I highly recommend the beef and broccoli. The general tso's came battered like the sweet and sour chicken, which is different for me, but was still all really yummy!

I was really hesitant to try another Chinese delivery place in our neck of the woods. Every time we do, we're disappointed and have to figure out something else to eat for dinner. That being said, Tasty Garden is in a different league. We called on a Saturday evening, and the girl who took our order on the phone was very thorough, repeating back every portion of our order (which had a few special items - hey, we're picky). We were quoted 30-45 minutes, and the delivery driver swung in at probably 25 minutes. Not too shabby! We ordered some crab cheese wontons, sweet and sour chicken, and some double pan fried noodles. The initial test was in the kitchen, where I stole a bite of the chicken for good measure. All white meat goodness - very important to us, as my boyfriend can't stand getting a surprise bite of dark meat in his Chinese food. The wontons were delicious, a perfect combination of flavors, and the double pan fried noodles had just the right combination of veggies, noodles and chicken. I was very happy with the portion sizes - not many places let you order small or large portions, and small is just perfect for us. The prices were fair, the service was fantastic, and I will definitely be ordering from here again!

The first time I ordered from them, they were 20 minutes late. This time, they are an hour late and still no food. Basically, whatever time they quote you, double it! I decided to order a pizza instead... Very frustrating.

The food is really good and the people are very nice. Just stopped in from out of town and wished I had a place like this near home.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
