Owned by the same people that own the 4th Street Chophouse, so they've found a way to cover all the ground as far as type of clientele. This is a much more casual atmosphere. You won't be impressing anyone by bringing them here. Baseball hats and sweatshirts are the norm here. The restaurant side was empty at 8:30 Sunday and a poker tournament (or not tournament) of some kind in the bar where we chose to eat. All you can eat Beer Bread, Salad (choice of 2) and Soup (choice of 3) The Sirloin Chili w/ Black Beans is hearty and tasty, I wouldn't change a thing! Ask for cups of soup instead of bowls and you can try all three soups; standard bowls are really big. I always go in thinking I'll have a couple of salads and a couple of soups, but can only down one of each. The Beer bread is to die for, and is included with the soup and salad. At $1 a mini loaf, you can bring it home to snack on or accompany your homemade meals.

I was really not that impressed at all by McGraff's Restaurant. The Superb: Nothing really stood out to me at all. The Average: The food was your typical American fare featuring burgers, sandwiches and pizza. While nothing was horrible, nothing was memorable either. The Horrid: Nothing. Run of the mill and not worth my time or money when there are so many better places to eat in the Fort Collins/Loveland area.

The bottomless salad is nice, a good way of getting those vitamins and fiber. The Sheppard's pie was very good. The cordon on blue could of been better, it just was missing some seasoning.

McGraff's was nothing to write home about for me. As stated in another Yelp review the food was ok but not amazing, not memorable. Average is really what the whole dining experience was... the waiter's effort was probably more than average, perhaps to make up for the food. The food itself was on a tedious and seldom border that I don't come across that much. The hamburger I had was on the verge of not having any taste at all which in turn made it dull and without any kind of zing or pizazz. What I say is nothing new to what has already been said before... with so many delicious restaurants in the area why go here and burn your money up on mediocrity?

Been to McGraff's a couple of times. Big and roomy, great bar area, and the parking and location are great! Not too happy with the menu as it is a bit too limited. Had fajitas which were pretty good. Chips and salsa were good, but didn't like anything else we had. Felt it was a bit over priced. Service was pretty good and each time we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess. We probably won't go back just because nothing on the menu is fantastic. Sorry guys.

Food is pretty good and decent prices. The dips are great. Be sure to order the brownie sundae, but bring a friend. It is huge and delicious!

My family along with some friends had dinner there on 9/2/13 and everything was going fine and our waitress brought our food. My husband and I ordered the shepherd's pie which is usually quite good. Everyone else ordered different items. My son ordered a pepperoni and sausage calzone. What he received was a calzone stuffed with peppers, tomatoes, and green olives instead. My friend requested mustard and the waitress said she would bring back the mustard, so I figured I would just tell her about the calzone mess up when she came back with the mustard. As the rest of the table was about done with their meal, the waitress had not checked back OR brought the mustard, and my son was waiting for a replaced calzone that still had yet to be ordered. I approached the manager to tell her about the calzone mix up because the waitress had failed to check back almost 20 minutes after delivering food. The lack of mustard and a drink refill hadn't even been noticed. When I talked to the manager, I was just faced with constant excuses about a toilet problem, and how busy they were, so I let it go. Long after were all finished with our food, my son's calzone shows up. The waitress couldn't decide whose bill belonged to whom, and it was split 3 ways. Then she couldn't figure out who should get the calzone and the desert which didn't really matter because they both were no charge items. Later after we arrived home (about 3 hours after we had eaten) my husband and I were feeling queasy. I called the restaurant to tell them what was happening and asked to talk to the manager whose name was Lisa. She offered me a free meal! This is the last thing I wanted after getting sick! The conversation was going nowhere and Lisa was very argumentative and confrontational. I also asked Lisa to have the owner call me the next day because she wasn't being very professional. I asked who the owners were and she said a lady named Marisa and some guy's name which I don't remember. I also told her I would be calling the health department which infuriated her. The next morning "Lisa" called me again, and now she claimed to be the "owner" instead of the manager. I asked her why she hadn't told me that she was the owner the night before when she said a lady named Marisa was the owner, along with a guy. I was told it was none of my business who the owner was. Lisa or whoever she claimed to be was very defensive that I became ill after eating there and said it was impossible to become sick 20 minutes after eating. I'm not sure where 20 minutes came from, as it had been over 3 hours since I had eaten (the drive home alone to Denver is an hour) . By the time I called, she repeatedly yelled at me! She asked what I wanted and I said I want to make sure this doesn't happen to others and for her to check her food temperatures and expiration dates and also credit my card for the mere $25 that dinner cost us. I didn't feel I should have to pay for a meal that caused me to throw up. She claimed she wasn't going to refund any money to us, so I wonder WHY she asked what I wanted! Lisa also became fixated on things that were either irrelevant or untrue (like insisting my male friend was my brother!) She also said I was mean (a childish word) to the waitress. Other than to order food, I never talked to the waitress. In fact, other than her being very confused and absent much of the time, the waitress was quite pleasant, apologetic, and very nice to us. Lisa also claimed I talked to 4 different people on the phone the night before. Well, first I only called twice and unless there are 4 Lisa's there... well who knows. Plus she kept bringing up how I couldn't possibly become sick within 20 minutes which I have no idea where that came from because by the time I left the restaurant (due to all the screw ups and talking with friends) it had been more like 3 hours since we started to feel ill. In conclusion, if this service allowed zero stars, that is what they would have gotten. The management was rude, argumentative, and defensive because they didn't want to admit they were wrong. If you get sick at McGriff's of Loveland Colorado, don't give them the heads up or they will become really nasty!!! Just call the health department first!

Services was excellent greeted right away and seated with in couple minutes. Waiter was very knowledgeable about menu and drinks. We ordered the special smoked pork tacos, pasta and flatbread sandwiches. Everything ordered was very good and well seasoned. Flatbread was awesome homemade daily from what the waiter was telling us. Will go back and would recommend to anyone I know.

Just love this place. My son and I love eating here. He always orders a burger with a ton of the customizable toppings and they are great at cooking it to order. Wait staff and hostesses are always so friendly. The bar draws a large crowd and the small parking lot fills fast but that's ok because the parking lot across the street is open to McGraff's customers after 5pm! I personally love the fish and chips. But the Nachos are to die for! Go and enjoy this place you won't regret it.

We have eaten here numerous times and the one constant is outstanding service. Polite, energetic, good menu knowledge and insight. The restaurant is of good size and certainly family friendly. Kids fare is average and slightly on the high price side. My kids happily eat it without fuss. Adult fare can vary between excellent and average. The appetizers are all very good, especially the smothered French fries. Soup, salad, fish and burgers all better than average, though not in the 5 star range. Did not like the brisket, but the London is very good. Cheers from a mile high!

First time here and it is fantastic! I ordered the burger on the recommendation of the waitress, glad I took her advice! Great service with a smile, thanks Erica! I will definitely be back!

Our experience was just amazing. We were sat almost immediately, and the servers were very friendly! Shared an appetizer of comfort fries - heavenly! S'like slightly Americanized poutine. Roommate got their calzone special [$9.75 for four ingredients, already includes marinara and cheese]. Was absolutely delicious, I had snagged a bite. I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu with side of coleslaw and potato cake. It is served 'deconstructed' style with dijon mustard. Heavenly, I swear it! Sides were pretty good, too!

Tasty food. I had a French dip that had bacon, sautéed mushrooms and melted cheddar with a little aus jus to dip it in. Mmmmm so good! Also had a side of soup and opted for the white bean and ham - equally good. My husband had the meatball sub and coleslaw which he said tasted funny . I took a bite of the slaw but could already tell he wasn't accustomed to the dill seasoning in the slaw. Don't hesitate to order the slaw because it was just fine, my husband just doesn't have a very adventurous palate. I was a bit disappointed that the chicken nuggets my daughter ordered were what I would consider to be Tyson nuggets in the shape of dinosaurs - but the fries were crispy and not greasy at all! I liked the decor of old framed orange crate labels. Very clean place and I'll just say that it's a lot better looking on the inside than on the outside. Don't judge a book by its cover because you'd be making a mistake.

Really good food and service. Had one of the best appetizers I have had at any restaurants in a long time. It was their meat and cheese board. It came with an assortment of cheeses, meats, crackers and tapenade. For lunch had a build your own burger which was amazing. Loved the large selection of toppings they had. The only issue I had was the waitress miss heard my daughters order and instead of getting the kids chicken nugget meat she received the chicken tender meal which was way to much food and twice the price. All in all it was a good lunch.

Go to Henry's Pub instead. I was disappointed after a recent visit to Mc Graff's. Someone had told me they had a great buffalo burger. That might have been true at one time but not anymore. My friends and I were greeted promptly by a hostess as we entered. The restraunt and bar were both packed so I took that as a promising sign but would soon learn otherwise. After being seated we were quickly greeted by a friendly energetic server. Who went to get us waters while we looked over the menu. The beer menu was dull and didn't include any of the fantastic local microbrews that are within a 1 mile radius. That was kind of a shock. I decided to skip getting a beer because nothing seemed that great. I ordered a medium rare buffalo burger with cheddar cheese, smoked bacon and fries as well as did my friends. The dining area was packed and stuffy and the decorating was suggestive of a lodge/sports bar. The server was great, the food arrived timely and it was cooked to order but it was just low quality. The food was just cheap, dry and flavorless but PRICEY for its quality. My bill was $17 bucks for water, the burger with fries and tip! It is obvious that this place is just ordering cheap food and ingredients but the markup is too high. I get the feeling this place will start to struggle and close in the next year or two if it doesn't revamp it's beer and food menu!s quality. There is just too much better and cheaper food in this area.

This was the worst food and service I have had in a long time. Brisket was not sliced correctly and was stringy and rubbery and loaded with BBQ sauce. Potato was ice cold. Waitress disappeared for extensive period of time and when we finally caught her and told her about potatoes she wanted to take the entire plate rather than just redoing the potatoes. Probably wouldn't have mattered since I didn't eat the meat anyway. Took a very long time to get a small plate of mashed potatoes. She never came back to refill water either. Giving it one star only because manager finally came to talk to us and comped the meal and offered to make it right. But at that point we were just there for too long and left.

Gone way down hill. Five years ago this place was great. Last night I had fish and chips, which was just frozen fish sticks and frozen French fries. The pizza was also not near what it used to be.

You can't go wrong with the Marinated London Broil. The succulent slices of beef are served on a bed of sauteed shitake mushrooms and a side of horseradish sauce. I recommend the saffron rice as one of your two side choices. Also, the fajitas were super tasty. They came with every side I can possible think of. No skimping here.

Had the steak and blue cheese salad and it was great. Service was good and the price was very reasonable. If you like blue cheese try what I had!

Unfortunately McGraffs can be summed up in one word - average. If they are anything they are consistent - if you want a good basic meal at a fair price with good service they will not disappoint you. Nothing fancy, nothing on the American menu (salads, burgers, fish-n-chips, etc) really stands out, the atmosphere is basic, the service is at expectation but nothing to rave about.

Nice neighborhood restaurant. I really enjoyed the bbq chicken pizza and my flat tire beer really topped it off. The service was great too.

The food's still ok, with a few recent menu tweeks, but overall the place is pretty boring as a hangout. Perfect for the over 60 crowd. There is no trivia and no other games except one shuffle board game so that leaves very little to do besides look at the silent tv screens. And I know this isn't PC today but would it kill them to hire some pretty women?

Fajita Portion was absolutely Rediculous!! Enough for one fajita. Service was not very good either, probably won't be back. Looks like I'm headed back to Nordys

My wife and I went for the first time for lunch. She had fish tacos and I had the beer battered fish & chips. First let me say that service was prompt but the waitress would just buzz by looking at how we were doing but never stopped unitl she noticed we were done. My wife loved the fish tacos although the tortillas were a bit dry. The side which was either rice or polenta was absoulutely flavorless. My guess all of this is coming back and someone should take notice. When I see beer battered fish and chips on the menu I don't expect to get panko crusted frozen fillets. They were edible but not what the menu describled. The coleslaw was a joke. It shouildn't have even been put on the plate. Please someone look up a recipe for coleslaw. It is not watered down mayonaise thrown on cabbage. Fries were ok, nothing special. Atmosphere was nothing, horribly decorated. Gordon Ramsey Heip!!!

I've visited McGraff's a couple of times now and have yet to have a complaint. We went for a beer on a weekend night, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed, with the whole bar joining in to sing Jorney's "Don't Stop Believin'" when it came on the jukebox. Came in yesterday and ate in the bar. Enjoyed a bloody mary and a DELICIOUS Reuben Panini. Honestly, this might have been the best Reuben I've ever had. And although the word "reuben" was spelled wrong on the receipt, my inner anal retentive spelling freak can look past this. I can't wait to go back.

Service was great, price and food not so much. Waitstaff friendly and prompt, but nearly 30 bucks for a pizza with a couple extras? The pizza we purchased was the Greek pizza, and tasted like it had more salt than the ocean, was dry, and pretty flavorless. It would have been 3 stars, but when you pay more than triple the price of a pizza at a real pizza joint.... Not really worth it.

Nice local place. Good food with a nice selections. The servers are always nice and a joy to talk to. I really like the atmosphere. The kids are always happy. We will come back. I give it 3 stars more so because of the "F" bomb flying out of the kitchen when I was walking my 5 year old back to the restroom. He did not hear I don't think, but that was not a highlight. I know that it is not the managers fault, but it does reflect poorly on a great place.

  • Evil S.

I've been there a few times and the service has always been prompt and friendly. I notice that some of the reviews take issue with the value that's sometimes provided, but since I've always stuck to the specials I've never been let down by the quality and reasonable price. If nothing else, I'd go back to check out their wide variety of pizza toppings (two kinds of bacon and jalapanoes, etc.).

Fajitas were good. Fries cold and limp. Our server was great. If the patio is open, go for it. It's very nice for people watching and relaxing. Like tht it is a local feel with less chain-ness

3.5 stars. Just another American Bar & Grill but food quality is higher than average and the pizza is excellent. Service can be a little spotty at times.. Tuesday night pizza is a great value. Try one with kalamata olives, red pepper and smoked gouda and the pesto sauce.

McGraffs is a great place to eat in Loveland! They never disappoint, have great service and great food! And they are the only place around you can get a buffalo burger! If your looking for some good honest American food McGraffs is on the top of my list!

  • Jared K.

We love going on Tuesday nights for the pizza special. They have about half a dozen preset options for toppings. So far we like the ones we have tried. Pizza night is a great bargain for families. Service can be slow depending on how busy they are, but overall a good dining experience.

  • Traci T.

Casual atmosphere. Fish and chips were good as well as the wings and fish tacos. Rueben wasn't on rye and a bit disappointing. Most disappointing for the four-year-old in our group were the chicken nuggets off the kids menu. Dino shaped cardboard flavored nuggets you buy at Sam's Club at $4 per giant bag.

All I can say is this is my favorite burger place in all of Northern Colorado. I love the Black and Bleu burger. This is amazing as either Beef or Buffalo. I would not ever suggest the Pepperjack Wontons and I'm not really a fan of their pizza but I will always come back for the burgers.

Great nachos and happy hour specials. But the bacon cheese burger made with soggy pre-cooked (microwave?) bacon made me sad.

The food at McGraff's is above average for American food. They have great weekly specials, my favorite is the Jambalaya. They have a great selection of local micro brews on their new 12 tap setup and good happy hour specials. Their patio is spacious and a nice place to spend an afternoon with friends and enjoy a few drinks.

    (5)
  • Ryan D.

This place was really good. It has really great American food and good service. There burgers have to be among the best in town, and there fish and chips are amazing. As a regular customer, I really like their rotation of dinner specials. My favorites are their Buffalo Meatloaf, Chicken and Mushroom Alfredo, and the Jambalaya. I really like their good draft beer selection that highlights local brews--especially New Belgium. Their beer is a bit pricey, but they have a two for one happy hour on all drafts and well drinks, and on Wednesdays their draft micros are 3 dollars a pint.
