Fun frozen yogurt place where you only pay for what you take -- it is weighed at the register. They have a variety of toppings, cool dishwasher safe spoons you can take home with you, and a cool puzzle or prize for kids too. Only negative is that it wasn't very clean.

We have been to so many froyo places-Boulder, Lafayette, and other ones out of state. The only one we found to be slightly better is "32 Degrees" in Florida (Lots more fruit and good flavors). Otherwise, this one is far better than the others--more fresh fruit selection as well as yogurt selections than the others. I usually end up with a reasonable serving for around $3 (I've learned not to go crazy). We also loved Glacier Ice Cream that was in the location previously, but this is slightly less expensive as well as being healthier and lower in calories than ice cream. The Dulce De Leche with cheesecake peices and peanut butter drizzle is the best, or orange dream with fruit. YUMMY!

My husband and I are converts. No more tcby. They put tons of crap in their frozen yogurt-like substance including propylene glycol which is really bad for you. Unlike tcby, Menchies frozen yogurt actually tastes like what it says it is without any funny after taste. No high fructose corn syrup. No unnecessary propylene glycol and the prices are great. We will be back for sure.

I don't know if it's the Marvin Gaye I've got playing or the candles I have burning but something is putting me in the mood to love on Menchie's. Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways... except if i start by counting how many toppings and flavors you have I would get carpel tunnel of the lip. their flavors were so good I couldn't decide (candy cane, egg nog, snicker doodle, cake batter...) oh wait, I didn't decide, I pretty much got one of everything. And they have every topping under the sun, literally a whole wall of them... Woo me with your chocolate and peanut butter you temptress! Menchie's is hands down the best yogurt place I've been too. I'm thinking of proposing, if I can wholesale source a ring big enough.

A cute place and Longmont's first froyo location. We tried many samples - some were good, but I didn't think any were great. The pistacho, dulce de leche, and red velvet were what I settled on. I added several toppings, including chocolate, strawberries, kiwi, hot fudge sauce and caramel sauce. The topping selection was ok (3 stars). They did keep it pretty clean (4 stars). Once we sat down to eat, we realized quickly that the taste was fake and not for us. Glacier Ice Cream used to be next door and we preferred that instead. In case you want to know...price is $0.44 per oz and we spent (with tax) just under $5.50 for two for small amounts. Toppings are heavy! Bonus good items: Dog water bowl outside. Frequent buyer card.

Not a bad FROYO place. The available flavors were interesting with our family choosing the Rockin' Salted Caramel and Fruit Punch & Honeydew Melon Sorbet swirl. We did not detect any wierd off taste and as far as FROYO goes taste-wised, this place ranked high based on my limited, but finicky, FROYO tasting experience. Between this place and TCBY in town, this place wins. I never like toppings on my FROYO or ice cream (with the exception of hot fudge), but the mochi topping gets two thumbs up. The bonus is that this place is kid friendly fun (balloons, stickers, coloring pages), a hit with my four year old. Also being kid friendly fun, it also means the place can be kid messy, but not dirty. Of course if you are looking for Glacier Ice Cream quality and taste, then you need to drive into Boulder. No FROYO place will ever compare to Glacier Ice Cream, because on the ladder of indulgence, homemade ice cream is tops. But some time you just need a little cold refreshing indulgence with less guilt and gut, then this place is a nice substitute to the homemade ice cream option. Tip: the 8oz bowl is a fixed price, regardless of weight. At the time of this review, it was $3.

Predictable chain. Same as all the others. But its Longmont's only for now.

Longmont's first froyo place! I love that they have 14 different flavors of frozen yogurt, and give free samples if you don't know what mudpie (coffee) or red velvet (tastes just like the cake) tastes like! Lots of topping choices, including candy, fresh fruit, mochi (my fav) and syrups (including peanut butter and marshmallow). You are your own mixologist and you only have yourself to blame if you didn't like what you ended up with. For me, I'll definitely be back!!!
