I have been to TTT many times. My husband's in a band, our friends are in bands, they play all at TTT at some point, so we support them by going to TTT to see them. I went with a friend to see her boyfriend play. But last night is the last time myself or anyone in the group I was with with will go there. Long story short the waitress took my friends shot off the table. No big deal right? We pointed out her mistake - only to realize it was our mistake. She completely denied even being at our table. Ok, well we saw her at our table. After a conversation that was entirely too lengthy, and falling just short of her using the word liar my friend gave up. Being the sober person at the table I wanted to stand up for what's right, so I went to the bartender. He stated that it's not his problem and implied I was just trying to get a free drink. Now I got mad! First there are much easier ways for a woman to score a drink. Secondly there's no management in this place, so by default he's in charge. He's responsible for everything that goes on in absence of management. I tended bar for the better part of 10 years, I know this. Finally in the end he did the right thing and angrily slapped together a shot, practically threw it at me and said "take this or leave". Then I could not get served the rest of the night. Really.... who are you ultimately hurting? It's not necessarily that a mistake was made, but how it's handled on the back end. Here's how it should have gone down. Us: "Oh, it looks like you accidentally took our 1/2 full shot away." Waitress: "Gee I'm sorry can I get you ____ (fill in the blank anything would be sufficient). Us: "Thanks that would be great!" Wow how easy was that, or could have been. Happy customers, we'll will come back, no bad reviews, and even if it wasn't her fault the bar just spent $4 max and would have made another $100 that night alone. I am sick of places that provide poor customer service. There are lots of places that support the local music scene. There's no need to go to a place that treats their customers this way.

Horrible service, occasionally surly waitresses, standard bar food. The only upside is a great collection of local bands. If I wasn't there to see a show I sure as hell wouldn't be here to drink or eat.

Hazel Miller ! I have seen a few other bands here as well. I like the roomy stage and the dance-floor. Tried the pork sliders, and they were actually pretty good ! Topped with Cole slaw, very tasty ! They have a very small menu with a few bar standards (chips and salsa, nachos, quesadillas...) See you another time Toad Tavern !

Things I love about the Toad: great live music, excellent sound, decent drink prices, generous pours, friendly crowd, beer pong, and clean bathrooms

Saw my friend do stand-up comedy here recently. It's ok. A little dark-ish, despite stage lighting. Sits in a strip mall in an extremely beautiful neighborhood with a massive gold course across the way. Service is pretty good here, the bartenders easy-going. Didn't have any food, but they did have $2 beer specials -- the beer was so 3rd-string and forgettable I don't even recall what it was (I just had one).

Music was great! Not enough room if you are going to see any well known bands.

What I like about the Toad Tavern - the bands that play there, meeting my neighbors that I live near, very clean ladies bathrooms. The bartenders Leah and Tim are the coolest. The $2.00 happy hours is the coolest.

The Toad wasn't bad, I just don't think it was my scene. We were there to watch an acquaintance perform in his band, and while I enjoyed the live music - I just didn't really care for much else about it. It's definitely your typical dive - smattering of people of all ages, pool tables, and the snobby waitress that turned her nose up at every musician that wasn't her boyfriend's band. Again, there isn't really anything wrong with the place other than it's just not my cup of tea.

Always something interesting every time I visit home and this time was no disappointment. Stopped into the Toad Tavern to see an old friend and it happened to be acoustic night. The music was not my cup o tea, but it wasn't miserable to listen to. Bar was essentially empty, but it was -1F outside tonight. Met a bunch of interesting people. Some cool, some... Well... Yeah. They can go. But over all not a bad experience. I'd definitely go back, just on a different night. Loved both bar tenders Leah and Tim, they'll take care of you. I heard rumors trivia night was awesome, but I won't be in town for that. Clientele was you average group. Nothing too extreme, friendly yet still that introvert. Not bourbon street for sure. I recommend that if you're in the area and you need to wet your whistle you stop in.

The horny toad, ops that was a long time ago. The toad tavern it is. The last place to see live music on the federal strip south. No the carpet has not been changed since before I was born and your grandma probably had drinks here before your parents were born. Just lower the lights a little more. The stench of stale cigarettes still permeates the air from a bygone era. The scene is based on what type music is being performed on any given night. One thing is for sure, live music can be found on the last stop on south federal blvd.

Stopped in this neighborhood dive to see Chasing May perform. All and all a decent experience. Their sound system and audio tech's seemed to be a little off their game which did a disservice to the band but with venue this size I guess that is expected. Beers and cocktails were average priced and their selection was decent. Would probably venture back for a show but not just to grab a beer.

This place was once a decent place for up and coming local artists. They have recently began to expand there genres which is ok (possibly a new booking agent). They may have changed the sound guy also. They should probably reevaluate that decision. He should place the artists over the beat for the rap shows. What's the point of rap if we can't hear the lyrics? Prices are good. This isn't a club downtown but quality sound is always important.

The owner was very very helpful to me today in figuring out a solution to a terrible situation. She is a good hearted woman and an excellent business owner. I felt she was understanding, sensitive toward me, and wanted to help me decipher what happened the other night. If you have any problems go to her, she's awesome!

It is Small, loud and crowded at times but it is a good place to hear live bands. Mostly rock as I remember it. You do have to pay to get in the door

Nice small music club to see live bands. Pool tables in back. Drinks and food are not necessarily cheap here.

Always enjoy visiting the Toad. Good food and cheap drinks. Had an odd experience the other night when I went in to see a singer-songwriter perform only to have him pushed from the stage and replaced by an annoying screamo band. The owner put an end to it quickly but it really put a damper on my evening.

Saw Tinsley Ellis last night and had a great time. I love that Littleton has a venue like this that draws some great bands. I love seeing Chris Duarte and Coco Montoya whenever they stop by. Yes, the service may not be first rate and yes the food is quick bar food, but I commend the owners for working hard to bring in great live music. Don't get discouraged by the folks that think they deserve perfection. I'm going to keep coming back. Cheers and all the best!!

Just a great little dive bar with live music, beer pong & good beer on tap! We've seen some great bands here, like Black Rainbow (Black Sabbath & Rainbow cover band), The Spirit of Rush (Rush cover band) and Riff Raff (AC/DC cover band). They were so much fun and the whole crowd was great. Word of advice, get there early, because this place gets PACKED. I love that they have beer pong tables here. We dropped in for happy hour here one Friday and just bought some reasonably priced pitchers and played some pong. We were pretty much the only people in the bar, but fun nonetheless. We always have a great time here. I will definitely be back.

My man and I stopped in for a beer one recent afternoon during the week to check out a new place....OMG the vile, rotten smelling, stale odor of urine and God only knows what else lurks in THAT OLD ROTTEN CARPET and seats or whatever it was wafting from....was too overwhelmingly sickening to stay and we gulped down our drinks and ran outside for fresh AIR!!! LOL...not kidding folks...how can you open this place up for business each day and not be aware of the STENCH.....Owners.. for the love of decency and humanity... IMMEDIATELY rip out that 1970's carpet and just go with the concrete floor ..this location and place has so much potential to be a cool dive bar...but don't confuse dive with needs to be condemned for sanitary reasons!! I've travelled dive bars from one end of this country to the other and NEVER have I been so scensory assaulted with fetid rotten smelling air in a place..what's going on???

Pretty good place for live shows. The stage is a fairly good size and the sound had a good mix. This place offers a lot of room for both standing and sitting. Got knocked down to 2 stars due to the service. After being ignored for about 15 mins, we were finally helped. The service was extremely slow and the price of the drinks varied from bartender to bartender. Something's fishy about that... and it's definitely a good way to lose my business.
