Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Fast-food restaurants like Pizza Hut are not recommended to dine-in if you are diagnosed with high blood pressure. High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Do NOT waste your time here. Ordered two large pizzas by phone. Gal on phone should have been my first clue as she didn't even ask for a name or phone number for my order until I offered. Arrived and not a customer in site (not a busy nite). Got a sad blank look from the approx 16 year old gal (probably who answered the phone) and she mumbled something to which I said, did you forget to make my pizzas?? Obviously I left at that point. These guys make Pizza Hut look like super stars. Trust me when i say they wont be around long. Zero stars if I could give it.

I was talking to another stay-at-home mom recently, and she mentioned something about a pizza place with a play room. Say what??? With a 2 year old and a 10 month old, that means it's an automatic tryout. We went here on a Tuesday for lunch, and there was absolutely no one else there. The playroom is pretty big and my kids loved it. For an appetizer, we had the garlic knots. OMG! Garlic knots forever! They were soooo good. I think the mozzarella was what made them extra awesome. After I had them, I decided that on my next trip I would order nothing else. The 2 slices of pizza that I had (green pepper, artichoke hearts) were good. I would give this place 3 stars, but because of the playroom, it's getting bumped to 4 stars. We will be back!

The epitome of family friendly. This was a 5 star experience for our whole family tonight. A playroom for the kids, a staff member balloon artist, really attentive waitstaff, very good food, reasonable prices. I was struck by how well thought-out this business is...they really thought of everything to make dining out with little kids fun for everyone. I know we'll be back to support this local and awesome business. I doubt I'd find myself here if I didn't have kids....but we absolutely loved it and the kids are already begging to go back "all the time"

If this was a review that took into account my $13 lunch entree (a chicken parm) I would have had to nock this down to 3 stars. The chicken parm just tasted like a un-breaded piece of unflavored chicken topped with lots of cheese and sauce. Not horrible, but did not in anyway . . .come away with the crispy outer crunch I love to feel when I bite into a Parm. Yet the pizza was solid. Considering the letdowns of Denver on pizza. . .this isn't bad. A nice variety of pizzas and our pepperoni pizza was great. The two slices (lunch special) was pretty much a 1/2 pizza. The highlight of Pizza Doodle was the fact that it has a nice cute play area. Not McDonald mind you. .but more of a collection of toddler toys and stuff. Plenty enough for a toddler . .start getting older, maybe you will have problems? The oddity here was that it was 12:40 time, and no one here. . and the Christian rock background. . .after my wife (she is Jewish) noted it. . .we also noticed a lot of Religious stuff around. So. . if that not your taste (or is your taste) thats up to you She didn't mind. . .

We ordered today for delivery not knowing that this is more of an eat in kids fun place. All of the food was cold when it got here. We had ordered two subs, two orders of wings a couple salads and a side of fries. The subs were okay but the Italian sub needed a lot more meat. The worst part was the wings. They weren't done at all. Several were still pink inside. The fries were soggy. I just won't be visiting or ordering from pizza doodle again.

(Previously posted under "PizzaDoodle" - no space between words. Review remains accurate.) We've ordered gluten-free pizza to go a couple times from this new restaurant and it's consistently outstanding. The thick-crust gluten-free pizza is by far the best we've had anywhere, and we've tried 'em all. I'm the only one in my family who can eat wheat, so I'm also able to say that it's as good as any REGULAR pizza I've had too. Simply the best - better than Mellow Mushroom, Big Bill's, you name it. A bit pricey but the pizzas are LARGE and generously topped. The dining space is nice for younger families with kids - this is not a bar-type or sports-type establishment. (I'm not even sure they serve liquor or beer.) There is a large play area for little ones, and they've done a good job remodeling an unusual space. The staff is friendly and attentive. One time my order was a little late and they offered me a soft drink while I was waiting: a nice touch. We will look forward to trying the other gluten-free options on their menu - sandwiches and even pastas - but for now we'll be going back regularly for the pizzas

This is a nice family-friendly place for the kids with a great playroom and super relaxed atmosphere. The food quality varies - sometimes it's quite good and sometimes it's just ok. They offer lots of GF items.

We did a meet up here. The food was fantastic. I love the laid back atmosphere. A huge plus is there is a big play area for kids. They serve drinks to so a great place for a drink out while kids enjoy the play area. Another bonus when we got there the owner brought out some recently washed toys for the kids.

Meh. Too many toppings on an unstable crust.

Damn! This was a great surprise in a strip mall on University. We couldn't get a table at the sushi bar and tried this out. I need gluten-free and they have a dedicated section of the kitchen. Pasta and bread were great. Service was great. No liquor license yet, but that is all they need. (three weeks they say) I hope they do great there.

This is a very cozy, friendly, family atmosphere. The pizza was great! The kids liked making their own pizzas. We had a birthday party there, for kindergartener's and it was a hit! The owners are very nice, helpful and it was relaxing. They pretty much took care of the party and were more than willing to help in anyway. We will definitely come back with the kids. Prices are also very reasonable.

Since moving into the Southglenn area we have had great luck with PizzaDoodle delivery. We usually just put in our order in GrubHub and pay online and 30 minutes later they are at our door. It always says is will take an hour and never does! The garlic knots are decent and the pizza is a nice NY style. In fact the only thing I don't care for is the name, but obviously that hasn't stopped me from ordering :) Haven't dined in, but love the delivery.

The concept of this place is really cool on paper. Basic Italian fair and a number of things for children to do including a play room. The play room was pretty smelly and the toys were disgusting. The server was about 12 and forgot most of our order and what we asked for throughout our stay. The pizza was insanely greasy and barely cooked through. It is the type of place worn out tired parents come to dump their kids into the play room and drink cheap wine and overload themselves on carbs to escape parenthood. Was not a very good experience.

Wow. Shockingly good pizza! Honestly we weren't expecting much on our first visit a few months back, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of food here. We used to drive all the way to Bonnie Brae Tavern for pizza, but I think Pizza Doodle has them beat. They are very generous with the toppings (unlike so many other places). Crust is excellent, and their pizza sauce is very tasty. Some of the best pizza in the southern Metro area without a doubt. I wouldn't mind seeing a name change though. I think they are doing themselves a disservice with this name, as I suspect a lot of people won't try it thinking it's like a Chuck E Cheese (it's most definitely NOT)! Anyway, my wife and I are so happy we found this place.

Really wasn't impressed. The garlic knots were still doughy in the middle. The kids area is an absolute mess. And the table next to us ordered vegan cheese because of an allergy (which is extra) and ended up with a pizza with regular cheese. Also the booth seat kept coming off and tipping on me. Won't be returning, which really stinks because I loved the idea of a kid friendly restaurant. I will say our waitress Bayley was an absolute delight. She was very attentive, kind and we never waited on a refill.

The service is very slow and the appetizers look different then the last time we were here. When we asked questions about getting food out, the responses were canned and patronizing from the owner.

This has become our go-to pizza delivery place in the few weeks since we moved into the area. The pizza is really good flavor and always hot when it gets to the door. And delivery seems to be pretty quick. What more can you ask for?

We were in about a week ago.The portion size was small for the price. My husband and I ordered a large pepperoni pizza. The sauce tasted like tomato paste and the waitress, Annie or Ashley (brunette with pigtails), was rude and condescending when we asked for refills and how much longer our pizza would take since we had been waiting a while. For the price we paid, I expected much much more. It's the service that was really off-putting. We will not be returning.

Our new favorite kid-friendly restaurant! Friendly staff, fun toy room for our 2 year old, small but good beer/wine selection (glad they had Dale's Pale) and good food (large portions). It was our first visit, but won't be our last. After putting a few dollars in the crane game, even the owner walked over to make sure we had won a prize. (We had) In response to other reviews, we had fast and friendly service and my husband thought the garlic knots were better than Virgillio's. On a personal note, I haven't listened to Christian music in years, but they did have it on quietly. Brought back some memories and was refreshing.

Best GF pizza and chicken wings in town at this restaurant!! My daughter and I are super sensitive celiacs and had absolutely no issues with this restaurant. They obviously pay close attention to cross-contamination issues as they have a separate gluten free oven. My son is not gf and really enjoyed their regular pizza and wings. Kudos to this restaurant for pulling off an excellent place for celiacs to dine. Service was excellent. Very kid-- friendly--but almost too kid friendly for a couple and older kids to dine. Wish they could have sat us away from the playroom and the multitude of babies. However, would still go back.

DO NOT GET PIZZA FROM HERE!!! Waaaaay too overpriced for what you get. My wife and I got a medium pizza, nine wings and the pizza roller appetizers and it was $33. Was not impressed with the pizza and it was just a little bigger than a personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut. I don't know how they can justify calling that a medium-size pizza. The pizza rollers had almost no pepperoni or cheese in it and the wings were not fully cooked. Honestly you can get more food almost any other pizza place for the same amount of money that we paid at this place. Not ordering from here ever again!

Located in a non-descript shopping center, Pizza Doodle is a quick and easy lunch for moms with young kids... added bonus, their food is good too! While visiting a friend, who has 3 children under the age 4, we arrived at PD around 11:30 and, at that time, the place was empty. I was questioning this choice but my friend reassured me that the food was good and she found herself here often. Unlike bigger kid-oriented pizza chains (i.e., Chuck E. Cheese), Pizza Doodle is a family-run business. The play area is an enclosed room off to the side, with large toy centers and smaller toys similar to what kids may find at home. There are assorted arcade games as well as gumball machines scattered about as well. The menus is pretty diverse and they are able to accommodate many dietary needs, including an array of gluten-free choices. After we order, both of us got the Health Nut pizza choice, the place become really popular! Playdates, mom groups, poured in and the noise level escalated! Our pizza came out pretty quickly and yes, I'll freely admit, I was surprised at how good it was. The addition of corn meal gave the crust a great crunch and I polished off my 9" pizza easily. The increase in patrons definitely effected our service since it slowed and was hard to get our waitress's attention. I'm glad we went early!

Great food! Went here with my 4yr old and grandparent & we all had a great experience. Fun games, clean playroom, really good pizza! When a kiddo can make their own pizza it's always a good day! Definitely recommended

I was not at all impressed with this place. Met a few of my mommy friends and their kids for a lunch date here last week. We went right at opening so we were the only ones there for about an hour. The owners had two of their three daughters running around the play area with our kids, unsupervised. The oldest of the two stole a baby doll from my girlfriends daughter, who immediately became upset. When the owner (wife) came to inquire about the issue, her response was to remove the baby doll from the play area and not her children. The restaurant was under staffed overall. Once noon time rolled around and the place really picked up in business, it was really too much for a husband and wife to handle on their own, leaving tables neglected in service. I will not be returning.

Ordered 2 gluten free pizzas. Price was very expensive with 4-5 toppings and vegan cheese (around $30/ea for a 15"). Grand total for 2 pizzas and garlic bread with a small tip was over $70. Kind of steep. Delivery took quite a while, but to be fair, they did call to let me know they were running behind. Crust was OK, a bit over-cooked, and flavor/texture was absolutely nothing to write home about. GF garlic bread was overdone and very lackluster. However - a few of us had pretty upset stomachs later that night. Wasn't too impressed.

A place to go eat and have your little ones play independently? Yes please! A place your kids can be loud and nobody bats an eye lid? Yes please! A place to meet other parents? Yes please! Great restaurant where there's a well stocked play room with large windows so you can watch your littles play while you eat, drink and chill. Food is good too and the prices are very reasonable. We'll definitely be back (yes, even though it took us close to 40 minutes to drive there).

  • A. S.

The food is decent but the owner(s) let their daughter freely roam in the play room while they are working and nowhere to be found. I have watched her push a one year old, forcefully keep a 4 year old out of the playroom and then eventually hitting my toddler in the face with a big plastic square. Before that she tried to get kids to group together and exclude others and had them hide from their parents, all that in one short 30 minute time span. When I went to look for who the parents of this child might be, I was not able to locate them, until we left and realized that her dad was actually the one seating people. I find this unacceptable and we will not be returning to this place.

Owner Gary made right by contacting us, offered and gave us 50% off next home delivery which was delivered on time and food was good. My husband said the chicken Alfredo was a little bland but good. I had gluten free, dairy free, yeast free meat pizza with vegan cheese which was good and I didn't get sick! Yay!!

After the disappointing pizza last week that led me to believe the first pizza I got was not actually gluten-free, the manager gave me a credit for the disappointing pizza but refused to do anything about the pizza that I believe made me sick for the past two weeks. He insisted that it was, in fact, gluten-free (but a different gluten-free crust than the larger size) and that I should have stated I had an allergy if I wanted them to be careful. I didn't want to go back, but my coworker did, so she used the credit for the larger size GF pizza. It was good, but she and I both agree that it was not the same crust on the first pizza that made me sick. The first time I ordered, I asked for salami, basil, and mushrooms. When I got it, the meat did not look like salami (it was cubed), and there was no basil. This time, we got salami, and it was the normal deli sliced kind. My theory is that there were two similar pizzas made when I ordered the first time. My gluten-free one got delivered to someone else, and I got their glutenous cubed meat pizza. That the manager flat out refused to believe that I got sick from that pizza, blamed me for not mentioning it was a real intolerance, and wouldn't credit me for it is enough for me to never go back and never recommend it again. My coworker can order it if she wants, and I'll take a piece--but as long as it's the flat and obviously gluten-free crust.

Went here for dinner on 7/23/2014. I would given this place 2 stars if it wasn't for the kid friendly items. This is a great place to take kids. They can stretch and top their own pizza which my kids enjoyed. Additionally, they have a stocked play room which was great for the kids while we waited for our food to arrive. Aside from the kid-friednly element, this place was rather disappointing. The service was mediocre and unfriendly and the food was slightly below average. We may go back for a special occasion if one of our kids requests it, but I would have a hard time going back on my own.

we got delivery. the all cheese pizza was stuck to side of the box. but all was not lost. it was GREAT, also the white pizza was excellent. we also got the chicken pepperoni pinwheels and the chicken parm was delicious. flavor trumps the condition of the cheese pizza. the red sauce is excellent. you can tell the dough was hand made. we'll order again.

  • Courtney M.

The play room is absolutely the best thing, ever. Our kids don't get impatient waiting for their food. My husband and son are gluten free, so this is a great place for us to go where they don't feel limited by the menu. The staff are friendly and kind.

  • Liz J.

just ate here for the first time last night. The promise of a kid friendly meal is what drew us in, and we were not disappointed. We had 2 toddlers and a tween with us, all 3 had fun, and allowed us to eat, drink and have grown up conversation. Another plus was how easy it was to get plain noodles with just melted butter for my picky youngest child. The calzone I had was honestly delicious. Not one complaint from anyone, adult or child. This may just become our new go-to place, for eating out with friends and all the kids.

If you have young kids, this is a good place to visit as there is a good playroom stocked with a variety of toys for them to enjoy while you wait for your food. There is a lot of items of the menu, but I have only ever ordered a salad and pepperoni pizza (both of which were good). The service is good and the prices reasonable.

I'm probably not the targeted audience to eat at Pizza Doodle. It's geared more for families with kids and I'm a single guy. Nevertheless I was curious about the place so stopped in for lunch one day. There are two large seating areas, a kid's play area, and the atmosphere is pretty casual. There was light rock/Christian rock music playing in the background, and the tables and chairs look pretty durable but nothing fancy. I just wanted a couple slices of pizza so got the 'combo' which included a soft drink. The price was quite reasonable. Oddly, they had the make the slices - there wasn't a pizza all ready to be cut-up into slices. It took about 12 minutes to get my order. The pizza tasted good. Nothing extraordinary but the crust and other ingredients blended well and it wasn't too greasy. It was pretty quiet in here at lunch time but I could image it being noisy if there was a lot of kids running around. I wouldn't mind having their pizza again but would probably do a take-out.

  • Michael B.

Well the positives were the kids loved it, they had a great time playing in kid room. Honestly the food was better then I expected it to be. Negatives maybe the slowest service I have ever received, not the worst(close to it)but the slowest! 3 kids pizzas, a calzone, and a personal pizza should never take well over an hour to get! Your appetizer should never come after your meal arrives! Not like they were over the top busy. Told the kids they could play a couple of games on the way out 2 out of the 3 we first tried didn't even work. As much as the kids loved it, and the did! Never again!

Amid Thanksgiving preparations and tiling work, we decided to give Pizza Doodle a shot for take out, despite its silly name, since it is just a couple minutes away. (We had a coupon!) They do a gluten free crust and actually have a completely separate oven and workspace for all gluten free preparations so it's legit. Pizza Doodle has several different sizes available and a thin and crisy as well as a thicker/chewier version (this is how the lady on the phone explained it to moi). She said people prefer the thicker- and even though I am more of a thin crust girl, I went ahead and went with her recommendation. I would definitely not call this a "thick" crust by traditional standards and it was very good. It tasted a lot like a regular crust and we did enjoy it. It did not make me want to eat the remaining crust that had no sauce or toppings on it, however! Given its primo location for us, we will probably be back, but we will still try a few other options!

We went to Pizza Doodle for the first time on Friday night. There were some highs and lows for sure. Highs: family friendly, kids loved it, they serve alcohol, and the pizza was actually good. Lows: SLOW service, horrible service, and the restaurant was filthy. And when I say filthy I mean it. There were dirty tables by us when we sat down that still weren't cleaned off when we were leaving 90 minutes later! There was food all over the floor too. If the restaurant is that dirty I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Other than the stale pretzels that come as an 'appetizer' for the kids- the good was good. I'll try it again but if it's anything like this experience? We won't be back.

Such a wonderful family friendly place! A play place for the kids, friendly staff, and amazing gluten free pizza! They have other gluten free pastas and entrees as well. They also have a dedicated gluten free pizza oven! They let kids "make"'their own pizza as well! I've been here many times and never been let down or had any problems and I am a Celiac!

First of all... don't try doing a "Check-In" from your laptop with YELP.com . If it's even possible, it must be buried away somewhere. Yelp is becoming increasingly passé but I had a good experience and wanted to share. I didn't try any of the gluten-free stuff because I'm so often disappointed with it. I figured this would just be another over-fried cracker with tomato sauce like everywhere else; but the GF pizzas I saw looked light and fluffy. I had just a salad. All of their salads are simply lettuce and no garnishment or vegetables. No tomatoes. Nothing but lettuce and croutons if you want the croutons. The difference between a "side salad" and a Caesar's salad is the side salad is larger and the Caesar's salad costs more. Ten bucks for a bowl of crispy lettuce. Felt like a rip-off. But the party stuff for kids is great. They can make their own pizzas, molding the raw dough and adding sauce and toppings. The adults can draw on paper place mats with over sized crayons while they poke at their bland lettuce aimlessly. If there is a "next time" - I will definitely try the GF pizzas or Calzones. They looked really good.

Awesome place if you have children! Nice little play area for the kids. Staff very friendly and greeted you right away. The only thing is it took forever to get the food ready! I was a little disappointed with that. The place also seemed really dim when I went in with a friend. But I would definitely go again just for the kid area.

I read the reviews before going here and was skeptical. I had purchased a groupon for a kids' party and invited 15 kids to my 3 year old's birthday a few weeks ago. Well, the party was a huge hit! This place is awesome! There is a nice big play room that kept the younger ones busy and the rides and games kept the older ones entertained. Parents got to have a little adult time as well and the kids made their own pizzas. Everyone there was very helpful and attentive to our needs and we had a huge group. There were even smaller birthday groups going on that day and everything went smoothly for us. I would highly recommend this place for those who have young toddlers. The pizzas were tasty & the beer and wine option was much appreciated :)

We have ordered delivery a couple of times and loved it, so were excited to go to the restaurant for a dine in dinner. We were floored! We love it and will be back, probably a lot! My favorite dish there is the vegan eggplant parm. The atmosphere is geared towards families with kids, of all ages. And the food can meet anyone's dietary restrictions. This spot is a pioneer in the kind of pizza places we need more of!

I really enjoy this place. The food is great. I've had the chicken-pepperoni wrap appetizer, garlic knots, and, of course, the pizza. The salads are fresh and great tasting too. Pizza Doodle is very family-friendly restaurant. There is a play room for the kids, there is paper on the table for drawing on, and kids can even make their own pizza. They can even make most of their entrees gluten-free (for those who are allergic). So, they have something for everyone.

As others have mentioned, this is a new restaurant and it shows. The restaurant is surprisingly large on the inside, and is rather nice. The atmosphere is very noisy and very rowdy as kids were running around and crying all over the place. What would you expect for a place called Pizza Doodle though? What we weren't expecting was the large selection of gluten free foods. They had pretty good gluten free pizza... and unlike other places they had different sizes of gluten free pizza, thick and thin crust too! The gluten free selection doesn't stop at pizza. They also have gluten free cheesy bread, pasta and other selections. Just be careful as cross contamination is very easy to occur at a place like this. Our pizza was pretty good. The "thick" crust we ordered seemed like thin crust to me. But the waitress said their thin crust is paper thin. Our pizza was a bit burnt on the crust, so they gave us a few dollars off our pizza (rather than spending 20 more minutes making another gluten free pizza). The toppings, sauce and cheese were all good, and even with the burnt crust, it tasted fine. We will definitely be back to try the other gluten free italian foods, and maybe take another try at a pizza. That being said, we just hope for a quieter atmosphere in the future.

We've been here half a dozen times. This is a great pizza joint for families with young kids. There is a large enclosed play area that keeps the kids occupied so the adults can talk! The food is quite good and reasonably priced. A couple of times we had to wait a while to get our food, but generally the service is prompt and friendly.

We went here with friends and it was an awesome experience! There is a play area that you can clearly see from the tables, but it is far enough away you can still have a conversation! The kids all went to the play area and played while we talked and shared an appetizer. I ordered a GF pizza, which was only a few bucks more than the normal price of a Pizza, maybe $10 less than the equivalent pizza across the street would have been, and it was probably the best GF Pizza I've had that my wife did not make me by hand at home. The kids all liked their food, and had a mini sunday for dessert. The wait person made balloon animals after delivering the check. There were other families with kids and it was a bit noisy at times. The bathrooms were clean. Definitely plan to return... my kids want to return also.

Super friendly staff- very prompt too. My kids kept saying "this place is awesome!" From the paper table cloth that you doodle on, to the cute fish tank to the big playroom, my kids are major fans. The "make your own pizza" for kids was a big hit- the kids even get to flatten out the dough. My kids thought the taste was "stupendous". My pesto pizza was very tasty. We will be back! Great business!

My Mom is glut\ten free and heard that this place had a variety of gluten free items. My first impression of this place is very stark and not very clean. We went ahead and sat down, the young waitress was very nice! We ordered a regular pizza, gluten free pizza and and gluten free sandwich. The 'cook' delivered our food and was in a pair of sweatpants and her husbands gross over sized sloppy shirt. If I owned a restaurant this would NOT be the person I would let deliver the food. The best thing I can say about the food is the gluten free pizza was okay at best. The regular pizza was really soggy in the middle. The gluten free sandwich was about the worst thing I have ever eaten (or didn't eat, couldn't eat). With the sandwich we had fries, not even sure it was a portion of an order of fries. We asked for ketchup and got an empty bottle of ketchup (really?). Then we finally got a full bottle of ketchup but we had to take the packaging off. There was a kids party at the place and the kids were screaming and there were some kids playing around in the kitchen. My first thought was how dangerous this was for the kids and I can't imagine how many health violations were going on there. I never like to see a small business do bad, but I feel like if things were done right in this place it could be successful. I can sadly and honestly say that I will not return to this place.

Very good pizza. The offer Gluten free pizza. Very kid friendly with play area. The staff is friendly and attentive. Staff member was making balloon animals for kids. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Hey the kids loved it, they got balloon animals and a superball for a quarter after dinner. The parents didn't care for the food. Something creepy about the place, kind of seemed dirty, tables seemed wobbly and dirty and the material was coming off the booth seats. There was a play area which shouted germfest and the friendly people that worked there kept saying 'welcome to pizza doodle' 'first time at pizza doodle' 'pizza doodle' 'pizza doodle.' I guess maybe we just never got passed the name. I think our uneasiness in regards to the atmosphere transferred to our dislike for the pizza. It kind of felt like we were at the renaissance festival but indoors and there was pizza. pizza doodle. Everyone was nice and friendly so I wish them success.

Authentic Italian food with great service and friendly people. Gary came out of the kitchen to make sure everything was good. Pizza was AWESOME! - nicely baked thin crust and toppings were plentiful and tasty. While you're deciding - try the Garlic Knots :) Other peoples kids were happily playing in the play area. Will be back to try the other entrees. Highly recommended - YUM

Love to support smal biz and this family friendly restaurant is a welcome and much needed addition to the nearby neighborhoods. Extra thumbs up for gluten free options. This place entertains all of my children of varying ages and allows for parents to achieve down time AND family time. The pizza, pasta and salads are fresh and despite new business creases being ironed out, this is a winner ! Perfect for late morning and afternoon play groups and after game gatherings. Tuesday nights are family night and kids can come dressed up in their underused dress up and costumes!
