The best Italian food. The staff is really fast with your order. This was my first time there, and they really made me want to eat there every night. :)

We met up with some friends at this Olive Garden, which was halfway between where we both live. My friend and I were singing Olive Garden's praises beforehand, while our significant others weren't sold on it. Sadly, it didn't live up to our description of it. When we walked in, the hostess went to take us back to our table and two of the people on the waitstaff were just totally standing in the way, oblivious to the fact that people might be trying to be seated. I think I knew then that the service might not be up to par. For one, our waiter was very friendly and outspoken, but not all that present. Our friends arrived 10-15 minutes after we did and it took him 10-15 minutes after that to return to our table, take everyone's order, and leave to get us breadsticks (which was even more waiting). He almost made up for it in personality - almost! But there was a LOT of waiting, way more than was normal. And they were semi-busy (it was a Saturday night) but not slammed by any means. The food was kind of mediocre. We all had the soup, which I thought was of the typical Olive Garden variety. The rest of the food was just okay. I had the artichoke fritti and the Mediterranean flat bread. Both were fine, but not great. The artichokes weren't presented very nicely (kind of just fried and thrown on the plate haphazardly, with some fried together making for a massive fried artichoke lump). The flatbread was okay. To be fair, I had already had my bowl of soup and a breadstick at this point so I just wasn't that hungry, but the food wasn't all that inspiring either. My boyfriend had the stuffed chicken marsala and he said the chicken was cooked well but the stuffing just wasn't very good. Olive Garden might be a "family restaurant," but these aren't family prices and, for what we paid, I expected a little more. I'm not over my love of Olive Garden in general, but I wouldn't be in a rush to come back to this location.

Olive Garden never disappoints! (with their food anyway, the coffee is a huge let down. At $2.49, even though it's a refillable pot, it's so watery it's like tasteless black water. I sure hope their espresso drinks are better, don't tarnish the Italian badge, come on!) The Lasagna Classico and the Fettuccine Alfredo are the two standbys, you can never go wrong, totally cures my Italian pasta cravings, every time! And the Creamy Citrus Chicken to the latter and you've got a dish that everybody at the table wants to fight for! Good thing we chose that off of their limited time Buy One Take One specials menu, what a steal! Also, the Mezzaluna Ravioli with Five Cheese Marinara is very good. I love the slightly pink tomato cream sauce, not too sweet, not to tart, not to salty, reminds me of creamy tomato soup! Both soups we got at this location were fantastic! Unlike previous visits to other locations where the soups have been cooking too long and turned to salty, thick, almost sauce-like stew, eww! At this location, the Chicken and Gnocchi soup and the Zuppa Toscana were fresh, had the right consistence and the right amount of seasoning. I can easily see why the latter is customers' favorite. Salad is great and fresh as usual, I wish they let you pick your own dressing. Not that the default vinaigrette is bad, but because it's bottomless, it'd be fun to try other dressing, maybe I should ask next time. Our server was pretty helpful. Gave me a new pot of coffee after I expressed how weak the first one was (second pot wasn't any better, sad to say). She also happily changed me two Take Home orders to Fettuccine Alfredo after I'd try it and had already picked out two different ones, that's what I call taking care of your customers. She also packaged our to-gos expertly. It was overall a great dining experience!

I went for take out. When I asked the bar tender for a takeout menu he turned called someone and ignored me. A few minutes later a server came out for my order. Not having a menu she had to politely move on. Later the bar guy asked others but went past me. After 15 minutes it felt rude so I left. Guess they don't prefer my business.

Great Olive Garden. We haven't been in about ten years because they really went downhill for a while. We decided to give it another try tonight and it was great! The breadsticks and salad were good as were our meals. The service was very good and friendly (and they were packed). When I took my kids to the bathrooms (which were very clean) a hostess saw my four year old trying to wash her hands and helped her with soap and towels. Very friendly.

We have found this Olive Garden to have very friendly service. Sometimes fast too. ;) The food is your average Olive Garden. The Zuppa Toscana soup, bread sticks, and salad appear to be the choice of the females in my family. I too like those but also like more to the meal to go with it. Usually Seafood Alfredo. All very filling. They periodically have specials involving more for your buck.

Olive Garden... A 5 star restaurant Olive Garden is a great place to eat. It's italian, has mouthwatering appetizers, and kids have fun. Olive Garden is italian. It has a lot of pasta, and it is just like Italy with the music, and just how it's set up. From the the Italian tile to the bars and themed floor tile and carpet. This restaurant has great food. They have chicken, pasta, and my favorite dish is the small shells with alfredo sauce. The food they make is very well made and they take there time... unlike Mcdonalds. There appetizers are spectacular! My Favorite appetizer is the salad. It has a delicious italian dressing and the cooks take there time to prepare it. There is also great bread sticks. They are delicious, spectacular, the best! Last the kids have fun using the coloring sheets. Theres a bunch of things to do. You can color a picture, do tic-tac-toe, word searches, and even fill in the blanks for Naples,Italy. I give Olive Garden a 5 star rating.I think Olive Garden is a great family restaurant and I hope that if you decide to try this then you will love it as much as I do. 100% is how much I recommend this restaurant.

I'm giving this place 3 stars as this is the second time we've been in. The first time we had a whole different experience, the service was fast, friendly and the food was excellent. The second time was a Sunday at 130.. The place was packed but we got in pretty quick. Our waitor didn't arrive to our table until 15mins of sitting there. We asked him a few questions about the pasta and he couldn't give us any specifics. It may have been the waitors first shift. We ordered all of our food and drinks at once to get the show on the road. Ten mins later our waitor came back by our table apologizing that the computers were down, we still had no waters or anything at our table. Everyone around us was being served and getting wine tastings.. this was a little confusing to us. A manager came by our table to apologize about the wait. We finally got our soups and salads and then waited quite awhile on out entrees. The waitor did come by our table towards the end to apologize again and offered us free dessert. It was a dissatisfactory experience overall but the waitor did his best to make up for it.

I know turnover is high in restaurants.... but my favorite few people are gone and since that is what was the main focus of my first review I thought I would update this. Probably won't be going back for some time; what's the point of spending money eating out when it doesn't feel like "Cheers"?

Most horrible OG experience of my life! I went on 5/8/15, and was so looking forward to getting my Olive Garden fix. We arrived and it was basically dead - expected at 2:15pm on a Friday. Good news, right? We were seated in a section that wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was the absolute worst waitress I've ever had in my life. It took her about 15 minutes to get our drinks. She took our orders and went missing for another 20 minutes. She walks back with our breadsticks and salad at the same time the cook brought our meals, we told the cook to bring the meal back because we were not ready for our meal yet. We asked her for a refill of breadsticks - get this - THREE times. We never got our refill of breadsticks. The table next to us complained that their chicken was cold and dry and she smiled and walked away, no apology or offer to make their experience better. She was in no rush to grab our checks. We ended up asking the bar tender for a box for take out since we knew that would be an ordeal for her and she'd probably forget. I'm sorry, but this woman needs to find a new job or career. I think her name was Michelle. I don't think I'll be stepping foot in an Olive Garden anytime soon.

Seriously, it's Olive Garden. Breadsticks? Check. Best indulged with a side of Alfredo Sauce. Their other offerings are surprisingly good. (For a chain restaurant, in any case.) I really enjoy their Eggplant Parmesan, and my sweetie is a sucker for their classic pasketti and meatballs. Every entree comes with either a soup or salad, so we each get one and share. After those first courses, I usually half at least half of my entree leftover for the next day's lunch. Hey! Value! They have some fun martinis on the menu, too. Martinis and breadsticks always make for a fun night in the bar!

Food was decent. Bartenders couldn't have been any ruder! One was chatting away about wanting his smoke break and the other couldn't muster more than a scowl in his face. I was lucky if they acknowledged me when I spoke directly to them.

We used to go here quite a bit several years ago but stopped after we had a mediocre experience and even less interesting meals served (when we asked for actual vegetables on the pasta primavera, they simply came back with a mound of broccoli and nothing else!)....however, we decided it give it another go and was pleasantly surprised. We decided to go for Saturday lunch...not too crowded, we were seated immediately. Our waiter, Ryan, was very attentive and came around just the right amount of times to check on us. Hubby had the Shrimp Diavlo (sp?)...he ended up having to get it to go, but seemed to enjoy it and the presentation was nice and the dish was quite large for lunch. My mom had the Chicken Scampi - it was light, flavorful and was generous as well with lots of chicken and a lemony sauce. I had the smallest dish, which the waiter did let me know about beforehand....it was the lasagna roll on the lunch specials filled with zucchini, yellow squash, light parmesan sauce. I added the chicken. The waiter wasn't kidding, it wasn't that large of a portion; however ,we had 2 bowls of salad, so it was fine as I was full of lettuce! The food was surprisingly tasty and we enjoyed our experience. My only thing would be to say that the breadsticks were on the bland, flavorless side...which was too bad since they are usually warm, fluffy and good...these were warm, but that was about it...glad that wasn't the main part of my meal! We would certainly go back to this Olive Garden again!

An Olive Garden poem: I once met a boy who did not have a lot of money but wanted to show his girl something fancy to the Olive garden they went with the promise of all you can eat breadsticks and salad two good entrees later he won her over with the promise of dessert. Enough said.

Not great. I don't like The Olive Garden because of previous experiences as disappointing as my visit this evening. We arrived on Tuesday evening around 5:30 and noticed that the parking lot was a bit full. Since we have 2 small children, I thought it would be best for me to run in really fast and see how long the wait would be. The hostess tells me 10-15 minutes. Awesome, now it's time for her to type my name into the system and give me the buzzer. "Tyrel, T-y-r-e-l" gotta spell it out for you, I get it. Kinda throws you off guard when you see a white man with a name like that. I might as well have been speaking a different language. No exaggeration, it took the lady 5 minutes just to figure out how to spell my name, while I was spelling it out to her. A little frustrating, yes, but oh well, 15 minute wait isn't too bad. Until the 15 minute wait turns into 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then an hour. Not sure how many 4 year olds can sit in a waiting room for an hour, but somehow, mine did!!!! After having the "we've already spent 30 minutes waiting" conversation twice, the buzzer starts vibrating. We are sat at our table and we wait. And wait, and wait, and wait. A group is sat next to us about 10 minutes after we got there. They get breadsticks and salad before we even get to speak with our waiter!!! A waiter finally arrives as our neighboring table places their food order. Normally, I would have given a 4 year old a kids cup. Not only would it make my life easier and keep me from cleaning up a spill, but I think a kid woukd enjoy a plastic cup over the fancy ones. Haha. Nada. Giant glass cup and a 4 year old, you're asking for a disaster. A wilted salad and 5 stale breadsticks later we get our meals. Luke warm and not very tasty. Cheese? Ha! Nope. After this last visit, I have made a family decision, no more Olive Garden.....EVER! Carinos is 20 minutes away, but... it's well worth it!

Italian chain that decently attempts pleasing everyone. Salad is terrible: mainly iceberg lettuce with few goodies. Shrimp primavera was good, but I had to ask for extra sauce to make it even look like there was any sauce on my whole wheat linguine. They gladly swapped scallops for the shrimp. Great! Good service and pleasant ambiance.

My son used to work here, have a little prejudice, but the restaurant always has good food, the wait staff is well trained and the service is professional with a personal touch. A good dinner and a good value. Lunch with soup, salad and breadsticks is a good bet always.

I've eaten here a few times, mostly for lunch when you can get the soup, salad, and bread sticks. Hard to ruin a salad. I went for dinner the other evening and ordered meat lasagne. It came with unlimited salad and bread sticks, both of which were delicious. I can't say the same thing for the lasagne. It was as bland as could be. Even piling on red pepper didn't improve the taste. But mostly I was disappointed because the lasagne was just a blob, a mound, on the plate. There was no left or right side to the slice, nor was there a top or bottom. It's as though it were put on the dish with a small spoon and it fell apart in the process. I might go back for the lunch special but lasagne is out of the question. Lean Cuisine tastes better than Olive Garden's version.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
