Mr Sushi Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

It isn't the best sushi I have had in the Denver area, but it doesn't suck either. What is keeping them from more than three stars is the lack of variety. I ordered the sashimi sampler which I thought would be a variety of sashimi but it was just three different types of tuna, so I was pretty disappointed. Their rolls are really good, but they all seem to be the same with a different spin. We ordered the heart attack roll, which is a must try! And also the Tempura Spider Roll and the Unagi Roll. The food was really decent, which made up for what seemed like a lack of variety. The service was pretty good, but it was a really slow night. Also, the restaurant was super clean which I think is a big deal when you are about to consume raw food!

It was not the best sushi I have had but it was really good! The heart attack is a must try. It was perfectly spicy. The fish seemed fresh and the employees were very nice. Plus great happy hour. $2 sake from noon to 6 on Saturday. I will go back for sure.

BEST white tuna sashimi I have EVER had! And I always order white tuna sashimi whenever I go out to sushi (3x's/month?). Soft, smooth, buttery-YUM! Plus the sushi chefs are very friendly and engaging...the jalapeno ahi sashimi appetizer special that they have is super delicious as well-theres jsut something about jalapeno and raw fish that is quite delicious

We were driving by on a rainy Saturday afternoon and I was suddenly in the mood for salmon. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much because I haven't had the greatest experience with strip mall sushi joints, but this place really blew us out of the water! The sushi looked fantastic (I am really looking forward to trying the rolls) but we were in the mood for more "hearty" food and since we were just testing this place out we decided to go with a Salmon Bento Box. I've had trouble with bento boxes before but this one was fantastic! The miso soup was perfect in every way, the avocado roll was great, the rice was perfection, and I cannot even begin to describe how tasty and perfect the salmon was! I don't eat tempura so my boyfriend took that one and said that it really was delicious. The restaurant was clean and organized well and the service was excellent! Like beyond excellent! To top it off our check was brought to us with Andes mints. Any restaurant that gives out Andes mints at the end of a meal is automatically on my good list. I would like to give it 5 stars but am reserving that until next time when we go to try just the sushi - and it will be sooner rather than later. Definitely recommend this place!

Wow... I've been working down this way for nearly a year now, and I hadn't found Mr Sushi until the other night. I had a craving for a sushi snack, and went driving, heading towards a Tokyo Joes out of desperation (they were still open.) I nearly passed by the strip center that Mr Sushi is in, but I caught their neon sign out of the corner of my eye and decided to investigate. I mean, it couldn't have been any worse than what Tokyo Joe's would have been, right? I checked out the menu in the window, and sneaked a peak at the food on the tables (the place was half full at a later hour... good sign) and decided to sit at the Sushi Bar and grab a roll. The staff was smiling and friendly, and each sushi chef greeted me. Very personable service. Actually, the service is what takes Mr Sushi from a 3-Star rating up to a 4-Star! Their rolls are creative like everyone else's, but they all looked good, and the prices were in line. The basic rolls, however, were SO cheap! They are 8-piece rolls, and for about $4.25 each, I got a basic California Roll and an Eel-Cucumber Roll. The friendly waitress even brought me a hot Miso Soup, gratis, because it was a chilly night. The rolls were larger than average, and fresh. They didn't skimp on the Eel, and the California was NOT premade (I've noticed that disturbing trend lately at some of the most reputed sushi joints around here.) I can't wait to go back and try some of their creative rolls, and my true test of good sushi, Salmon Nigiri.

Not what it used to be. Mr. Sushi's quality has been declining steadily over the past couple of years. My husband and I have been faithful customers, but our last couple of experiences have changed our minds. A recent order of bi bim bap contained very little beef and lots of lettuce, and the beef was chewy. An order of yakisoba was so over-peppered that it was almost inedible. My husband's favorite salmon bento box shrinks with each order. Chirashi sushi has also grown smaller and smaller. I would honestly prefer that they raise the prices, rather than let the quality and quantity noticeably slip.

We just moved to the area and have been searching for good sushi and more importantly, good chicken katsu. Fresh clean fish, friendly service, and a very non-pretentious atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

Mr. Sushi i really thought we could have a good relationship. I came in and placed a carry out order.... 1 HOUR later i am still sitting there waiting for my carry out order. Others had come in for dine in and they received their food and were almost done by the time i got my food. I only received my food after asking one of the staff if it would be ready soon. I give the sushi a D in taste; nothing too exciting to write home about. Might give you another try since i live so close, but not anytime soon.

I have been here multiple times and it's become my favorite sushi place in the west metro area!!!!!

I went to Mr. Sushi with my family and while it wasn't the best sushi I ever had, for the price point it was pretty good. Me and my dad split a $40 combo consisting of 36 total pieces of sushi or sashimi. The salmon sashimi was absolutely superb, chilled to the right temperature and fresh. However, the tuna was a bit of a disappointment and tasted a little spoiled. Nonetheless, the friendly owners came and replaced to two bad pieces of tuna left with the delicious salmon. Spicy tuna roll was very solid, and the california roll does the basic trick. The decor is nothing special, you do have a old fish tank with some fish that need a bit of cleaning up. Then again, by the looks of it, you don't come here on a formal occasion, just to eat some good sushi. Overall, me and my dad were stuffed and had to take a couple pieces home. My brother and mom seemed to enjoy their bento boxes. While its not the best / fancy sushi restaurant, its a solid joint for sushi.

This place is good and fairly inexpensive. I love the amigo roll. Very fast takeout , friendly staff.

I heart you, Mr. Sushi. Great prices and great food. Their miso is pretty good and the rolls we get are consistently good. I have never eaten their menu food, so nothing to review there. The staff is great and we enjoy seeing them every time we go. The sushi chefs are interactive, so that makes it fun to go back. I don't think you can go wrong with Mr. Sushi!

Gross. I couldn't even finish any of my rolls. Waste of money

The spicy scallops were some of the best sushi I've had! I'm still at the restaurant and can't wait to come back!!!!

The BEST sushi in Denver. I'm have tried a bunch of sushi places, and this is hands down the best. All the sushi rolls are huge delicious and the price is very reasonable ($8-$12 for an 8 piece roll). The staff is super nice, same people have been working for the past six years that I have been going. Chefs and waitresses greet everyone like family and remember the regulars. Atmosphere is cozy as well. Honestly I can not rave enough about the food. I have had sushi in Japan and the quality and cut of the fish is on par with some great sushi dens is Tokyo. There are some GREAT cooked rolls too for people who don't eat raw fish, and they have a full menu of chicken, steak, other seafood/rice/noodle dishes. I eat there at least once a month. They are the best!

  • Lily S.

The experience we had was horrible, not sure if it'll be the same next time because we probably won't go back. The dynamite tasted watery, the sushi pieces were small and the rice kept falling apart. The green tea ice cream was disgusting, and the service was really slow. So slow that we got real hungry and had to finish the food on the table even though they were all pretty bad....

    (1)
  • Maria N.

It's no Sushi Den but it's very good for it's price! 4 rolls and an appetizer for only 33 dollars!! Try the heart attack roll. It was amazing.

  • Paul C.

I am a big fan of this place. First, the portion is great! Fair pricing and never leave hungry. Second, quality of the fish is excellent. The yellowtail is fantastic! Very Fresh!! Third, taste! The rolls are creative and very tasty. Fourth, SERVICE! Top notch! Quick and treat all customer like regulars and do special things likes cakes for birthday Go try it, you'll love it.

Sashimi was awesome and service was great. Skydiver roll is definitely worth coming back for. Looking forward to trying more dishes!

I'm going middle-of-the-road with Mr. Sushi. It's pretty close to my house so we gave it a whirl recently, but I wasn't really blown away. Service was a little slow (more than once, my glass stayed empty for a couple of minutes) and the food was maybe a smidge above average. Crab rangoon is usually one of my favorite apps, but theirs tasted like they were popped out of a bag and tossed in a fryer - and chock full o' imitation crab. The Philly roll was decent but a bit on the bland side, but they made up for it with the Heart Attack roll - a fried, spicy tuna-stuffed jalapeno. Glorious! The eel and yellow tail were also pretty good, but came out quite a bit after the rolls. We'll probably check out the Mr. again sometime in the future, but we'll definitely be skipping the crab rangoon!

Awesome! I had been wanting to find a close sushi place for some time. I can usually eat there for two with Saki for around 30.00. I think the sushi is great for the price range and on three occasions I had the same server who was wonderful. She checked in for refills, was timely and pleasant. I did lower it one star from my most recent trip. It was a younger server we have never had before. She was slow, never refilled water and we waited for twenty minutes at the conclusion of our meal for the check, troublesome since we were planning on seeing a movie next door. I will say after discovering this place a couple of months back, I have returned four times. Enjoy and take a shot of Saki for me!

This is actually one of my favorite places to eat sushi! The people are very kind and welcome u. Also the sushi is really good here. Very nice place. Not to big. If u want some good sushi try MR SUSHI!!!!!!

  • Tori G.

I was highly skeptical of Mr. Sushi when my mom told me we were eating there because really, it's next door to a Burlington Coat Factory, but I figured you never know. It turned out to be preeeetty great. It's very casual, but I thought that was a nice change from most good sushi places. I had a bento box and the tempura tasted like delicious heart attack. My family shared a massive plate of sushi and loved all of it. Our waitress kept our drinks filled without hovering, which was an accomplishment since it's a pretty small place. My parents bought, so I can't speak to the price but they didn't flinch when they got the check, so I'm assuming that part was fine too. We'll definitely go back.

For those individuals fortunate enough to have discovered Mr Sushi, tucked away near Southwest Plaza, you all know a visit here can change your day for the better; as was the case when I was Christmas shopping this past silly season. I had never heard of Mr Sushi before(no surprise; there are approx. 150 sushi restaurants in the metro area), so I used my trusty navigator and was blessed with a familiar, yet new experience. The proprietors made me feel more welcome than those at any other sushi restaurant I have ever been to, and it felt genuine. I wanted to hug my hostesses, but the Japanese tend to frown upon public displays of affection and I am allergic to handcuffs, so I substituted my burgeoning affection with a generous financial compensation at the end of this delicious meal. They do not have the elegance of a Sushi Den, the hip vibe of Hapa Sushi nor the overwhelming value of Sushi Katsu. No, they possess something different: the warmth and quality of a small local business that cares. They infuse your experience with "seishin" or spirit and that, above all else, will draw me back to this contemporary oasis.

Never tried this place before but decided to give it a shot. At first glimpse this place is very clean without a noticeable raw fish smell. The service is absolutely top notch. Friendly staff, helpful...a pleasant change from most restaurants. Next up the sushi...phenomenal!!!! So fresh and delicious. Littleton must welcome excellent sushi to this end of the city...FINALLY!!!!

food is not bad they close between lunch and dinner. so do not go there at 3pm. we got turned down once, that was not fun

  • Dillon P.

Mr. Sushi is, without a doubt, my favorite sushi place in the Littleton / Lakewood area, and some of the best sushi I've had in the Denver metro area. What sets it apart for me is the fish---always flavorful, and not in a bad way. And where else can you get two delicious rolls, plus an appetizer, for around $15? I'm not a fan of fried food when it comes to sushi, so I typically order the rainbow roll ($10.25), Mr. Sushi roll ($10.25), Philly roll ($7.50), or Alaskan roll ($8.25), plus one of their "regular" hand cut rolls ($3.25-4.50). That, or the "chef's choice" sushi combo. It's consistently good, even ordered to go (which never takes more than 15-20 minutes). I will agree with another recent post however, in that they do lack variety with their rolls. But the fact that everything is so tasty makes up for it. I would even say you shouldn't bother with other sushi places if you're near Southwest Plaza. One last thing, if you're in Golden, check out Halu Sushi, their sister store, which is just as good!

Good prices. Smaller rolls. Good sushi though. Will be back. Thanks.

    (4)
  • Nick B.

The Entertainment book has a free California roll offer so the price was a little more reasonable. The Miso soup rocked but maybe I was just starving. The red snapper ....not so much. "It tasted like if you were to catch a fish and lick it."

  • Emily Q.

I love Mr. Sushi and I am a regular customer. The scallop sushi is to die for, the sweet shrimp delectable, and the rolls are usually very good (I've had a few weird experiences. Once, my roll was only 4 tiny pieces, and once my spicy tuna roll was so overspiced it made my *teeth* hurt). The prices are fantastic, and the quality of the food relative to the price puts Mr. Sushi over the top. Freshly made, in house spider roll or a freezing cold, 7-hour-old tuna roll from a grocery store? I'll take Mr. Sushi, thanks.

really good sushi, a bit cheaper than a few other places in littleton but not by much. great experience every time ive been here.

What a nice surprise, right here in our neighborhood. We were at Mr. Sushi for lunch, and were very pleased. An assortment of rolls, all very fresh, nicely presented, reasonably priced, with prompt but unobtrusive service. It wasn't Sushi Den, of course, but then we didn't pay for Sushi Den, either. We'll be back.

So surprised to find another decent sushi place in Denver metro and even more surprised it was this little place in a strip mall next to Burlington Coat Factory. Everything we've had has been amazingly fresh and delicious. When I don't have the money to drive across town to sushi den, this is the next best thing!

Oh Mr Sushi! How do I love thee, let me count the stars! Thanks to my loyalty and theirs, as a well-served guest within the confines of this hidden Littleton jewel, I am able to award my rare five star WOOHOO! Mr Sushi has always had decent sushi. In fact, it is the place that introduced me to more than the safe Philadelphia roll I had been clinging to while friends threw back slabs of sashimi and pieces of Caterpillar rolls. Ex Husband and I ordered a boat once and he insisted I try everything on it. While this experience was a bit traumatizing at first, I survived so well that I went back for more. Best Friend and I have always defaulted to this place when craving affordable and edible sushi. A few years ago, they switched management and it seems it's the best thing they could've done. Our favorite, the Spicy Tuna Roll, went from good to fantastic. (Along with the generous slabs of sashimi and other varieties of sushi.) My most recent visit was a Christmas present from Best Neighbor Ever to me and Roommate. We ordered an assortment of sushi which was nicely delivered on a boat to accompany the bottle of Pinot Grigio we selected. The service was as stellar as it has always been. The staff, from the hostess to the server to the sushi chefs, always seem delighted to have our presence in their establishment. The small space is typically filled with a happy crowd which surrounds the center fish tank (always an interesting decor selection when you're munching on the food that swims in front of you). Thank you, Best Neighbor Ever, for a fantastic Christmas present. And thank you Mr Sushi for always being fantastic. It is always my pleasure to be a part of such an overall lovely eating experience.

Don't let the location, store-front, menu, or the sushi chef's name (Juan) hinder your decision to give this place a try. I was visiting a friend in Denver and he took me on a 30 minute excursion to drive out to Mr Sushi and it was absolutely worth it. I have had a ton of sushi and this is up there for some of the top rolls I have ever had. Insider's tip, ask for the chef to make his choice on one of your rolls - you won't be disappointed.

Their Crystal Crab & Amigo Rolls are to DIE for!! Great owners and wonderful service....you'd be crazy not to try Mr Sushi! Oh, make sure you sit in Alice's section.....she's the best.

Mr. Sushi is with out a doubt the best sushi joint in Denver! The sushi is amazing.....must try: amigo roll and Marvin's roll. You won't find better sushi or better pricing. We've never had a bad experience here and the staff is always super friendly. Definitely worth the drive to Littleton to check this place out - scrumdiliumptious!! Mmmm....And the green tea ice cream is pretty good too :)

Love this place... the chefs are great, the sushi is delicious and portions are huge! It is also very reasonably priced and is a nice change of pace compared to other sushi places that are marked up too much

  • James W.

Mr. Sushi... oh my~ blew away all my sushi experiences in the past. If you thought you've seen all the sushi boats? order one there. Ask them for the signature sushi boat. It' simply the LARGEST SUSHI BOAT i've ever seen in my entire life! And they tastes GREAT, too! Oh my goodness, I wanted to go back again!! My friend brought me to Mr. Sushi, and I am super thankful for that, ha!

  • Kellie K.

i recently moved to the area from south suburban, where i was a big fan of land of sushi. while mr sushi doesnt have as many of the more ambitious choice of land of sushi, it has the basics and does them well. great rainbow roll, full of freshly made california roll and nice pieces of fish on top. my son is a vegetarian and likes the veggie yakisoba. good gyoza and tempura for my non-raw fish eating husband. i like the heart attack roll as well. the spicy tuna roll was chock full of tuna but should have been called the extremely spicy tuna roll.

  • Megan B.

So here is the deal...We all know that Sushi Den has the best sushi in Denver, but I don't always want to paid $100 to statisfy my sushi fix. And for $20 - Mr. Sushi is the best sushi around. They are consistant, quick, and always friendly.

  • Wayne D.

Good food, good prices, wonderful service. We will be back.

  • Delbert A.

I have not been able to bring myself to actually try sushi but who doesn't have a dozen friends that loves it? Keeping in tradition with my friends, I frequent Mr. Sushi (they are huge fans) on a regular bases and I absolutely love their California Rolls and Tempura Rolls! So fresh and tasty. I've also ordered their boxes of Tempura (chicken & shrimp) and it is good as well. Find myself craving those rolls - maybe one day I will be brave enough to join the sushi crowd. But if you are not a sushi fan and want some fantastic rolls - this is the place. Super friendly service is a big bonus!

    (5)
  • Amanda T.

This place is almost perfect! I love the sushi so much that when I moved back to Denver I still make the 30min drive to Mr. Sushi about once a month. The portions are huge and the sushi and sashmi deal for 2 is just that an amazing deal! It's always very fresh and tasty. My only complaint is they are very understaffed you have to wait a bit for service of any kind, but the sushi and huge sashmi portions outweigh the service problem. Love you Mr. Sushi and your crazy fish tank!

  • Valerie M.

I've stopped in here a few times over the past year and continue to enjoy the the high quality sushi here. They have recently opened a sister restaurant, Haru, in Golden.

Mr. Sushi is my favorite sushi place is Littleton! I love coming here for lunch with a book and relaxing with my book. The wait staff is friendly and attentive, the sushi is always delicious, and you can't beat the prices. I love the clean, fresh ambiance and the friendly sushi chefs!

    (4)
  • Cilou L.

Let's see... this is definitely not the best place for sushi, but definitely not the worse. I got their Rockies Roll which is basically a California Roll with baked salmon on the top. Their seaweed was not as fresh and crunchy as I usually like and their rice was a little softer. I like the genuine taste of the roll, but it lacked just a little bit of sauce on the salmon. I also got the fried tofu and you get about 12 pieces for $5 which is super cheap. It was actually crunchy too, but part of it was soft crunchy. I wish they put regular soy sauce on top instead of teriyaki sauce with sugar.

    (3)
  • Ken L.

We have known the owners and have been going to their restaurant for many years. We can always count on friendly, personal service and good food at great prices. I would characterize Mr Sushi as good well-prepared "American Japanese" food at generous portions.

    (4)
  • Cloud W.

The one and only time I've gone to this restaurant I didn't order sushi, I ordered the eel on rice dish and I couldn't eat it! They did not do a good job of removing the bones on the eel so basically it was a mouthful of bones in every bite, no fun and not tasty at all. My sister ordered the sushi and it was ok (considering the price) so maybe if you just order sushi it's ok...

    (2)
  • DJ A.

If you like sushi and sake, this place is hard to beat.

  • Vanessa C.

My family and I have been here on 3 different occasions within the last year. My husband and I were unimpressed every time but went there because of how conveniently it is located next to the movie theater we often go to. I didn't enjoy the excess amount of cream cheese in some rolls. Also few rolls I ordered fell apart whilst picking them up. My husband was disappointed that they didn't offer any rolls containing lobster. Other dishes such as the chicken yaki soba and teriyaki were just average. Portion sizes for their seaweed salad was quite small for the price too. The last time I ate there, a few short weeks ago, I experienced an awful stomach pain, where a sushi chef admitted to me later on that some of their fish is old since they cannot sell it all quickly enough. Overall, my family and I will never eat here again. There are plenty of other choices not far from here such as Okinawa or Fontana with more well prepared sushi.

    (2)
  • David B.

This place wasn't so great tonight. We've enjoyed it in the past, but tonight, the rolls fell apart, and the kitchen and wait staff argued with us about what we ordered. We wanted tuna hand rolls, and asked, the waiter to make them te maki (which means hand roll). They brought regular rolls, and when we pointed out the mistake, the said it means cut roll(which is incorrect). Regardless, arguing is not the correct way to handle the situation. As we were paying, we saw a sushi chef, clean tables, and go back to preparing food without washing her hands. If the fish wasn't outstanding and the price decent, the review would have been lower.

This is my one and only sushi stop. Never disappoints! Thanks Mr. Sushi as always it was delicious. Marvin roll was a new one for us to try and was great. Can't wait to try something new next time

Hubby and I came here for the first time and we were really impressed! We ordered the sushi/sashimi for 2 ($42), and it was such a GREAT VALUE! It came with two orders of miso soup, two salads, and a boat full of sushi - we couldn't even finish everything, and it was all delicious! We'll definitely be back again soon.

Finding good sushi in a strip mall shouldn't be a surprise, based on how easy it is to find great restaurants in odd places in Japan. But, in Colorado, it can still be an eye opening experience. The place isn't huge, but it is immaculate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu has enough "Colorado-style" sushi rolls to please those who aren't quite prepared to gobble down raw fish (try it!). I'd come here to eat rather than drink, if you catch my drift. Don't let the kitschy name scare you off, you won't be disappointed.

  • Teema C.

Good sushi and decent Korean food. Nothing spectacular but it did hit the spot when I was craving some sushi! I ordered some salmon nigiri which was ok, the Mr.Sushi roll was good, and hubby got the bi bim bop. This one would be an iffy as to if we would be back.

    (3)
  • Cindy L.

I wanted to like it more because the service was friendly, but the food doesn't warrant a higher rating. The key to good sushi is seasoned rice, and there's has no "su" in their rice. The lack of seasoned vinegar was obvious. The sushi is on par with grocery store sushi.

  • Ande S.

Our first Denver sushi experience. It was awesome! Mostly due to the super fun waitress we had. She was fun and sassy and joked with us the whole time. Sushi itself was good. Nothing really mind blowing but really good for the price.

  • Denise G.

Mr. Sushi is one of the first sushi restaurants I went to after moving to Denver, CO. 8 years later, it is still one of my go to places for awesome sushi. Their service is never lacking, and their food is consistently great. Each time I go, I order random rolls. I couldn't even begin to tell you which rolls I have ordered there. But, I do always get some yellowtail. If you go with a big group of people, they break out the boat of sushi. It is a boatload!

    (5)
  • Mikala M.

This place has excellent sushi, Some of the best in town! The Heart attack roll is a MUST try, especially if you like spicy. It's location is a little random and inconvenient. The atmosphere is a little less desirable then other sushi places I've been too and there's no background music, which I found odd. Our waitress was really great but she only, came to our table a few times and never brought us water or came to check on us during our meal. The place wasn't even busy so I found this a little disappointing. Go for the sushi though and not the atmosphere.

    (4)
  • Greg W.

This is our 'Go To' sushi place. They have everything. If they don't have it on the menu, just ask. Their prices are really good. Sorry I cannot describe the food. Let's just say, we enter hungry, eat a lot of Sushi and go home happy :)

This tiny little sushi place is overshadowed by empty lots and large stores, luckily my smart phone located it for me. The selection is small, but the available fish was fresh and the price is right. I always order based on the chefs recommendation, after all, he is standing there with all the fish at his disposal, he would know best. I really enjoyed the chef's special, seared yellow tail with jalapenos drizzled with a light citrus ponzu. The hollywood roll was refreshing and I'll admit that I'm a sucker for combinations with cucumber and avocado. Our sushi chef was fun and chatty. I welcome building a relationship with the chef as a fun addition to my sushi dining experience. His genuine desire to craft "creative" sushi was charming and led to a narrative of each roll and a sample of a freshly prepared creamy sweet wasabi sauce in the shape of a happy face. Mr Sushi was definitely 5 star in the service department. The servers and staff were very accommodating and quirky. If I lived closer, Mr Sushi would make it into my regular dining rotation. Lastly, the happy hour is just on drinks, but $2 sake and $2 beers is a no-brainer, especially on the weekends (12-6pm on Saturdays and 4-6pm on Sundays). Kanpai!

Visited this place on the recommendation of my cousin and his wife. Went there with a fairly large group and got to try a bunch of different things. Overall, the food was tasty, fresh, and interesting--especially the bento box's--a little bit of everything. The sushi was on par with most sushi joints in Denver, not particularly impressed, but not bad. The service and environment were extremely authentic and very friendly.

I have been going to Mr Sushi for nearly 10 years now. It is one of the best places in the Denver Metro area for really tasty, reasonably priced, and very fresh sushi. They have fantastic fish - always melt-in-your-mouth quality. The service is friendly and efficient, and even when months go by they always remember me & my family when we go in. I used to live in Littleton when I discovered this gem but now I live much farther east & am happy to make the pilgrimage for their food. I want to be Mrs Sushi!!

I am a bit of a sushi snob, always looking for incredible flavor in rolls, fresh, buttery consistency in fish, and rice that is cooked properly. I have my favorite sushi spot over by my house, but I happened to be in Littleton and was looking for something nearby. I found this place on Yelp, and the hubby and I decided to check it out. The place is very clean and gorgeously decorated with beautiful Japanese artwork. We sat at the sushi bar, and the service was outstanding. The rolls were pretty okay. We did enjoy the freshness and flavor of the special "Mr. Sushi roll". However, the flavors on the volcano roll were a bit odd, even though the spicy scallops on top were tasty. We also had a "Heart Attack", which is a whole, large jalapeno filled with cream cheese, covered in tempura, deep fried, and then sauced with eel sauce. It was bland - with all those ingredients I wouldn't have expected that. Overall, not the stellar sushi I'm used to having at "my" place, but not bad.

Amazing service every time we go! Love this place and the people. Freshest fish in town! There's no happy hour because they pride themselves in what they make and its perfection! You've got to try their "heart attack"!!

This is my favorite sushi restaurant in the Littleton area. They have great service and the place is always clean with a great atmosphere! My favorite roll is the sunshine roll, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves tempura. The dessert is slightly over priced and there is not a lot of variety. I come here mainly for the sushi rolls.

Took 20min to get a server. The table tops were filthy. Sushi had freezer burn and was over priced. Not going back. Don't waste your money.

We were not impressed. The Philly roll was good but the Marvin roll and gyoza made us sick. The gyoza did not taste like other gyoza that we have had before. We won't eat there again.

Love this sushi restaurant! I have been eating here for 9-10 years! I started out with tempura rolls and have evolved into sashimi and quail eggs! I started taking my husband here 7 years ago when we started dating. It has solidified itself as one of our favorites! Marvin and his staff are amazing and always fun! We usually sit at the sushi bar and talk to the chefs. The Amigo Roll is a classic! We love to see Marvin here and at Halu Sushi is Golden! We often meet for dinner and saki at Mr. Sushi, then walk to Bowles Crossing for a movie. Great for a date night! Especially now that the theatre has been updated!!! I'm getting hungry writing this review!!! Yum!

My favorite local sushi place! I've ate sushi at pretty much every sushi place around the Denver metro area and this is my goto spot. Me and my wife have gone here probably 15 times on dates. The prices are fair, the sushi is amazing every time. Their presentation is beautiful. Service is great and their environment is like that of a real Japanese restaurant. The miso soup is also amazing! I've had sushi in numerous different states. I've even had sushi in japan. The only place that beats this place for me is the sushi den but they are far to pricey for me Mr. sushi is perfect! Tuna shashimi, spider crab rolls and unagi sushi is what I love :) Great place and highly recommended

This place was awesome the first time. But not so great the second - I would recommend not getting anything to go after 7PM. It didn't taste all that fresh.

I'm a SUPER sushi snob and only eat at a few places, I'm here to tell you this place is a hidden gem! I usually go to sushi den, which i love, and this place is just as good. Never thought I'd say there is sushi as good as sushi dens! Do yourself a favor and go! Almost forgot about the awesome service too. Prompt, friendly, and they notice the little things like replenishing drinks, wasabe, ginger...ect. if i could post a good review more than once i would!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

We have been to Mr Sushi for over 6 yrs. Has always been great... Awesome service.... Fresh fish and tempura was good. Went today and was the worst we have experienced. The spicy tuna not good too much spicy shakes on rolls and small rolls to boot. The rice was overcooked stuck to my teeth. I used to give them 4 stars but today was 2. Not sure if we would go back. Did they change owners

Pretty busy for a Tuesday but that lends me to believe this place is good. Not to long of a wait, the hostess was accommodating and the chef knew what he was doing. Allowed us a few small samples to highlight the specials but we stick to old favorites-- tuna! Very fresh, quick order-to-table turn around and the bill wasn't to bad on the wallet

I love it here! Their fish tastes fresh, and the service is amazing. They really get to know you, and their attitude is always positive. I suggest the shrimp tempura, or the crystal roll. Delicious! I will be coming back.

Best sushi and sashimi in the Denver metro area. You would never guess based on its location and exterior but this place is a hidden gem hole in the wall. You will thank me. Go!

My family has been going to Mr. Sushi for about 10 years now. We love the Marvin's Rolls, the Sushi Love Boat for two, the Unagi bowl, and the Bento boxes. When my kids were younger, they always loved ordering a Japanese soda. It is nice to visit an establishment, and know they are going to do their best for you.

The fish was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the combination of smoked salmon, avocado, mango and strawberry on the Mango roll was unexpected, yet delicious. Everything was fresh and the service was excellent. I'll be back the next time I visit Denver, for sure.

Been sitting for 30 min waiting on 2 hand rolls. REALLY? How long does it take to make a freaking hand roll.

This place has great sushi for the price! It's my pet peeve leaving any restaurant hungry, and sushi places aren't an exception. Usually, I end up spending way too much at sushi places, but here only spent $40 for two!

I really like Mr. Sushi, they have fresh, good tasting Sushi and some interesting rolls. It's the perfect place in the SW Burbs to grab sushi if you don't want to drive downtown and/or pay the downtown prices. They have your typical rolls as well as some interesting deep fried "sushi" rolls. The Amigo Roll is fantastic, basically a Jalapeño popper with some Sciracha on the top...pretty damn good even if it doesn't feel like Sushi! Fresh Sushi. Reasonable prices. Rarely a wait. Unique Rolls. You really can't do better in the burbs.

Best sushi I have had in awhile. Heart Attack roll and Amigo roll were both amazing. Will definitely make the trek again.
