These burgers have great flavor and seasoning. Service is good and have always had a consistent experience.

I returned on 6/20 and met a friend for lunch. This time I dined in, which I think helps improve the quality a lot. We both had Lark burgers which were perfectly cooked and very good. The fries were improved over my last visit. They were not nearly as greasy and were warm. They were still under seasoned in my opinion. I don't like a lot of salt (I add my own pepper because no restaurant does that) but they just lacked flavor. I guess my lesson learned is the burgers are great and I should stick with that and just skip the fries. The soda machine with a ton of combinations is a nice touch.

Showed up at nearly close time. They took my big order with a smile. I had the best chicken burger ever. Keep it up! The flavor is amazing as the service.

I am a regular to this Larkburger (twice a week) and I've never been disappointed! The food is amazing and the staff is top-notch. Carey is truly the master of her craft and goes above and beyond for every customer. She treats everyone with the utmost professionalism and respect and works very hard to ensure a wonderful customer experience every time. I can't say enough about the amazing staff and great food!

Its a little pricey yes. BUT its cooked fresh and it takes like real food, not fast food. Friendly service, too. Yes it costs more than the Wendy's across the street but it taste so much better, too, and I'm willing to wager its healthier. I'll eat here again!

The Skinny: overpriced, unbalanced burger with soggy fries (2) service: it's counter service (3) value: expensive for what it is. (2). Although I can appreciate the call for a more sustainable way of producing fast food, Larkburger just doesn't make the cut in terms of taste, texture and value. We ordered their truffle burger with truffle aioli and parmesan/truffle fries. The burger did not smell or taste of truffles. The bun really overwhelmed the burger patty itself. The meat is pretty skimpy for the price. It was all squished into the little box container leading to a real mess and a mushy moist disaster. (The burger was ordered medium) The fries had more of the truffle scent to them however upon eating them, did not have the umami flavor I expected. The first few fries were okay but became quickly soggy after that. This may have been due to the excessive amounts of parsley added to the dish which is really unnecessary and actually detrimental to the texture (ie, crispiness) of the dish. Overall, I'd like to say for $11.53 - this burger/fries combination is overpriced for what you get. 2 starred review.

I love me some Larkburger. The burgers are messy and they're probably not the healthiest option but you can't deny that sometimes a tasty, delicious, juicy burger just hits the spot. I get either the truffle burger or the tuna burger both cooked medium. I ALWAYS get a side of the truffle fries though... These are easily my all time favorite fries. The main reason I'm choosing not to give 5 stars is because price point wise they are a bit pricey for being a semi- fast food joint and also because my experience with their service has only been so-so. I understand that at this particular location your interaction with staff really only last a few minutes but when they are rude it can really ruin a mood. The food however is definitely worth it and I highly recommend coming here when you get that craving for a burger!

Another incredible chicken sandwich cooked by Will at Larkburger. Mouth watering, spicy & grilled to perfection. The Swiss cheese gave the sandwich a balanced balanced robust flavor. Great dinner!' Lil lark chicken burger was the best yet! Damn fine jobs guys.

I ate here yesterday. IM STILL FULL. OMG! I have never been to a Larkburger, so I didn't know what to expect, but let me assure you, this is not a standard burger joint. I was really surprised at the quality of ingredients. Even though only 3% of the population actually has a gluten intolerance issue, Everything is gluten free!!! (expect the bun, but you can ask for the gluten free stuff) The flavors are strong and just screams fresh. I must say the chili is amazing. I was talking to the manager/owner(not sure) and he was saying there were over 20 ingredients in the chili, and you could tell, it was so freaking good. I also tried three burgers (thus the still full the following day) The Chicken burger has a surprising kick to it, I'm not a fan of spice, but I really enjoyed it. The Ahi Tuna burger was a generous amount of tuna, it was fresh (not sure how that happens in Colorado lol) and perfectly cooked. It was like a sushi burger! Yum! The Truffle burger lived up to the name. I tasted a piece of lettuce on accident first and I immediately tasted the truffle. (paired beautifully with the truffle fries) To top it all off their ice cream is really good. Made from boulder ice cream apparently. Its nice to see an establishment support its state and use local resources rather than going to major retailer. Cant wait to go back!

The truffle fries are excellent and come in two sizes, small and standard. Standard size is large enough for 2 (see my photo) The truffle burger was cooked to my specifications and was excellent, but had little truffle flavor. Instead get the Larkburger and save $1.

I like Larkburger! There I said it! The food burger is very good for a fast casual burger, and the Tuna burger is much more then you would likely think it to be. The fries are always wonderful (duh), but the service really is above par. The location is also a little out of the way, so you are more likely to find a seat, and maybe even a little quieter of a dining experience. Also, the chili has always been one of my favorites (second only to homemade ... honest)

This place was AMAZING. I had the chicken burger and it was the best chicken burger I've ever had... Restaurant, fast food or otherwise. Bold flavors! This was our first time here and came on a whim with the hubby. He had the Angus burger and raved about that too. I don't know what those 1 star people are talking about!

I'm going to have to do something about my partner. He's clearly lost his mind, because he doesn't like Larkburger. This was my first visit. I'd stayed away as long as I had because of my partner's scathing reviews, now I wonder what other pleasures he's kept me from. I tried the ahi tuna burger, truffle fries, quinoa salad, and chili. Everything without exception was very good. The prices were also very reasonable, and I was surprised to learn how green the company is - almost everything they use is compostable or recyclable! I'm holding off on giving Larkburger five stars - and committing my partner - because I haven't tried an actual LarkBURGER yet, and I don't think I can call this the best burger place ever when I haven't tried the burger yet. However, if their burgers are as good as the rest of their food, I'll probably be changing my rating to five stars soon!

We showed up to this Larkburger just shy of dinner time. We were immediately greeted by Wayne ("bigwig" with Larkburger), and Sean (VP-of Finance I believe with Larkburger) were about as excited as we were, that we were there! They immediately asked if I had been in before and expressed their excitement that I was there! After I got my Bards, Gluten free beer, I enjoyed conversing with Wayne, Sean, and the rest of the staff! They are passionate and genuine about what they do and the community that they serve! I skipped lunch so I had quite the appetite. Wayne recommended two smaller burgers to really get a feel for what they offer! So after a healthy serving of the amazing Angus chili (I had to make sure it was as good as I thought!) and the awesome quinoa salad, I opted to go with the Truffle Burger AND the Chicken Burger (small sizes) and a small serving of the truffle fries. Talk about a party in your mouth!!!! Holy moly, they were perfectly prepared and I'm so glad the cashier recommended bacon on the chicken burger because it was the icing on the cake! Polished off nicely with a sampling of the strawberry AND Vanilla shake! Additionally, we are talking about a company that locally sources everything (literally) from the ice cream (Boulder), the wine (Infinite Monkey Theorem) to the potatoes (Somewhere else in Colorado!)!!! Seriously, the potatoes??? We are talking about Quality you can actually taste!!! Overall, Larkburger and the amazing staff GETS IT! They get the desire for quality, pricing, and options! Awesome Restaurant, closed the place down and didn't want to leave!

Had a burger for the first time at the west Littleton location. Wow, super tasty burger. Very friendly staff as well. When I get my burger crave, will always consider Larkburger.

Good service, we got asked if everything was okay by three different employees. My boyfriend and I ordered the truffle burgers (medium) with a side of truffle parm fries and a Five Dollar Shake - which is misleading, because it's actually only $3.50. The burger is light, flavorful and juicy. They used a good enough amount of truffle oil that it didn't overwhelm. The meat is savory and fresh, however I think a little more seasoning would have made it perfect. The fries are cut a bit too small, though it helped with the distribution of truffle and parm. I think it would be amazing if they added garlic to this! Again, the truffle and seasoning wasn't overwhelming After the meal, I wasn't very full though. I sort of wish their burgers were bigger?

No. Overpriced, bad food, bad smell. If you're wanting to pay $10 per person for mediocre food, then this is your jam!

This place is about as close to an "in n out" burger experience as you can get around here. High quality ingredients . . served hot and lot's of options including gluten-free. My go to is the chicken burger but the beef is also really good. service with a smile as well . . .

Four stars for the whole package here at Larkburger. You can tell by the staff's attention to their customers that this place really cares about quality. Thanks to Wayne and the rest of the crew last night who so graciously re-cooked a fresh burger for me after the one I ordered was a little too rare for me. It was really my bad, because I was told that their "medium" is a hot pink center, which I don't like, I like my burgers pretty medium-well, but I told them to cook it the way they would cook it. Which was just too rare for me. But many of you out there like it that way and Larkburger's got you covered. I was told - by person after person after person waiting in line last night - that their ahi tuna is Da Bomb. Apparently it's the best kept secret at Larkburger, which will no longer be such a secret after the twelve people who read my reviews will now know this. But I think Larkburger can handle the rush. Here's what I ordered: regular Larkburger with American and truffle fries; I also got to try their chile, which is delicious (over a burger maybe?) and their salad with chickpeas which had real butter lettuce (you NEVER find that in fast casual!) seasoned with a zesty vinaigrette which I really enjoyed. Finale? Vanilla milk shake which puts most others to shame. Um, yea. Larkburger, keep on keeping up with the demand for your high-quality food. I think you're on to something here!

What joke waited 50 minutes for simple burgers and still never got our food!! Gave up and asked for a refund! The managers comment they were running out of things. 14 people got their food before they thought to put our food in to be cooked!! Done smash burger I will never stray away from again!!

  • Thom R.

Oh my gosh! Words don't cover it. These Larkburgers, Truffle & Parmesan fries, and chocolate milkshakes hit the spot in grand style that's hard to describe. The picture doesn't even do it justice....

Terribly disappointed in the service. Cary has made mistakes with our order the last two times we have been there. The problem is not that she made the mistake, the problem is her attitude when asked to rectify it. Her childish behavior of badmouthing us to the cooks had me concerned they would contaminate our food. The shift leader attempted to assured us that would not happen. Why would I believe that when they blatantly complained about us where we could see her and the cooks?! I do not feel safe returning to this restaurant.

I love that they are nut safe and have terrific food. I have always gotten good food and great service.

Incredible! Premium ingredients fresh to order and fast and inexpensive. After eating there I can't imagine I won't be a regular. Best burger I've had in a long time. After I finish this review, I'm going to see if they are publicly owned, and If so, I'm going to invest. 5 stars only because I can't give them more. After further investigation it turns out the company is privately owned by a family who lives in Vail. In vail, they also own another restaurant called larkspur. I looked on the menu online and it sounds great.

  • Matt B.

I really like Larkburger, the burgers are great (much better than Smashburger) and this location tends to have friendly and attentive staff. So long as the place is not overly crowded, food is prompt. The main reason for 4 stars is price. Larkburger costs as much as many sit down restaurants, so for the quick serve category, Larkburger is pricey (north of $10 per person).

  • Robin M.

I was excited to have a burger with a GF bun. It wasn't as good as I had hoped. The bun was very dry and the rest of the burger wasn't great either...

  • Devin R.

Still excellent! Always consistent service and good burgers. My boyfriend and I went in on Saturday afternoon and happened upon their anniversary special. $3 burgers and $2 beers and shakes! Great deals! It's was on this visit that it dawned on me that they offer an entirely gluten free menu, but only offer regular beers. I think it'd be great if they offered a gluten free adult beverage like Angry Orchard or Omission beer. I know I would definitely partake of that!

  • Devin S.

Ok fellow Yelpers, we're going to try this place, we're 1st-timers to Lark. It's Sunday afternoon so we don't expect a big crowd. But, their multi-dispenser soda machine is out of regular Coke, and 2 kinds of root beer. Not a good 1st impression. And the verdict is in! Not bad, and as a fellow Yelper said, it was "fine". We had the Larkburger and Little Lark, regular fries and 2 fountain drinks. We posted a picture of it. The buns are very small relative to the beef patty. And the pepper they add to the meat could come back to haunt me later. Time will tell.

I was passing through and saw this burger joint- wow were we impressed. The taste, the quality of the food is excellent. We loved the green focus too. Recycling, meat and produce from green operations, every progressive. But the taste ruled supreme. And when you order juice for the kids, they actually provide a high-quality low sugar brand, not just flavored sugar water like most "juices" I wish they would open one in DC, their burgers beat 5 Guys into the ground. Way to go, Larkburger!

    (5)
  • Kristin D.

Fail. If I'm going to wait 15 minutes for a burger, I would hope it's worth it. It wasn't. Everything tasted burnt and the buns were stale. Gross. I won't be back.

    (1)
  • Matthew C.

First of all, the fries here are terrific. Overall the food is very good. Meticulously clean and the staff is amazing. They were out of gluten free buns so the manager ran across the street to whole foods to pick some up for us! The only knock on this place is they are a little spendy for burgers and fries. Will be back here for sure.

  • Kat A.

Food good. But man, they are so slow at this location. Took five employees over five minutes to get one order of fries ready. Most of the time they stood there and talked behind the counter. There were no Ther customers in line. Just me! And the fries were cold and burnt.

    (2)
  • Alan M.

Just got the quinoa salad. Absolutely amazong. Was greeted by friendly young lady behind countrr anf I can't say enough about the tuna preparation that went into the salad. Nice work.

We are from California and we stopped randomly at Larkburger. One larkburger, one tuna burger, edamame, and fries. We are so happy. Just perfect.

  • Katie B.

The word that keeps coming to mind when I think of Larkburger is fine. It wasn't good or bad, just fine. The burgers are made to order, which is nice, but they are nothing special. I ordered their special burger which was a Truffle burger with cheddar cheese and applewood smoked bacon. The burger was well cooked, but I could not taste any truffle oil. The bacon was flaccid and there was very little cheese. We an order of truffle fries which were also fine. They tasted like fairly ordinary fries. They are cut quite thin, but are not crisp. The service was fairly quick considering they cook the burgers to order. They offer chicken, turkey, tuna, and veggie burgers as well as beef. They try to be environmentally friendly by using recycled and compostable cups.

  • Jen L.

You know that it's going to be a bad experience if you have to greet the person at the counter before they greet you the customer. I ordered the portabello burger with swiss cheese. I inquired if the special sauce was thousand island and the girl behind the counter rudely said no that they make all of their sauces. That's fine and all but did you make your own ketchup, mayo, and pickle sauce or not. As I stood there long and painfully for my order to be taken while the girl would stop to yell into the back of the kitchen. I didn't even know she was done taking my order. She didn't use any phrasing to indicated that the ordering process was over she just stood there and looked at me for about 30 seconds. The only table open was a tall table with no chairs so I stood there and waited for 20 minutes for a burger and fries to come out. The employees did apologize for there not being any chairs but did nothing about it. As for the food. My Burger despite being too big for the bun tasted good... at the time, not so much when I burped the taste of it the rest of the day. And I couldn't wash the smell off my hands either. The fries were tiny and super greasy and hard to eat. I threw most of them out. I just didn't feel good about myself if I would have eaten them. So in conclusion if you like fast service, good service, good food, a nice environment.... don't eat here. I won't make that mistake again. If the management of this establishment reads this please don't contact me. There is nothing that I would be willing to come back for even for FREE.

Truly the best burgers in Lakewood! Love the truffle aioli & truffle fries! Fresh ingredients make the quality even better. I only gave four stars because it can get pricey because the fries & burgers are sold separate. So taking myself, husband, and son can get expensive for a non-fullservice restaurant.

  • Shoaib A.

Had the chicken burger....If you like things a bit spicy but not over whelming it's a great option. Had the truffle fries thought they were oily and I'll pass on those next time. Overall I like this place.

  • Carolyn M.

Not as good as the downtown location, but still Larkburger, and still delicious! I almost ordered the ahi tuna, but decided on the original instead. So good. Parmesan fries were a little bit soggy, but they would be good out of a garbage pail. Yum. Simply yum.

For a fast-casual style menu, this is one great burger! First time we went it took forever - nearly 30 minutes - just to get our food - that was on a Saturday at 1:30. This time we went for a 7 pm dinner - and it was so fast! Great quality - and I like that they basically do just burgers...and they do them well! The truffle parm fries are pretty darn tasty!

  • Brandon Y.

Eh, so, yeah. Heard awesome things about it, so figured I would give it a try. Gonna keep this one simple. Apparently, the truffle fries are a draw, so I tried that and a Larkburger. It was just meh, kinda ok. I really didn't think it was that great. Honestly, I think the burgers and fries at Good Times just down the street are equally as good, if not better... So, yeah, that's about all I got here...

Came here around 1PM on a Sunday. The place was pretty busy and remained so until we left at about 2PM. Not much of a line when we arrived, so the order was taken quickly. Condiments area needed some cleanup and resupplying, as the ketchup cups were out and the ketchup dispenser was almost empty. Burgers took about 15-20 minutes to arrive; we ordered a couple Larkburgers, truffle fries, and regular fries. Burgers were ordered medium but were more on the rare side of medium rare (very bright pink inside). Everything tasted good and fresh, albeit nothing mind blowing or adventurous. Truffle fries were good - the thin cut helps bring the truffle flavor forward but not to the point of being overwhelming. Overall, a solid experience, and I'd have no problem coming back here as long as I'm not in a rush.

2 burgers & 1 fry took 25 minutes to cook AND our order was wrong. It wasn't even entered in the system right upon examining my receipt. They were not busy, they were not understaffed. For $18 for 2 burgers, 1 fry & 2 drinks my order should at least be right. Also, a medium burger should not be literally dripping blood. For 25 minutes for us to get our order, you would think the burgers would be cooked right.

  • terrence r.

Ok so I am the foodie in my group and maybe we expect a lot when paying 45 for 4 burgers soda fries and the $5 shake, but this place was not worth it. The burgers were "moist" with geese and the fries were cold to warm at best. The shake would have been better at Wendy's next door. We ordered the turkey burger with Swiss and the meat had little to no seasoning. Your better off going to a real fast food place and save your money.

We all had very flavorful burgers and got polite service. The place was packed and we expected a long wait but the food was delivered to our table by a smilng dace and in a timley manner. Is it more $ than McDonalds? Of course it is! But there are 100x more flavors as well and we all agreed we'd be back. Thick slices of cheese and hefty burgers. Fries were thin and skinny served up in a cool little box. I guess I appreciate something a little different once in a while. But cool and fun NEVER trumps taste so I'm not distracted by packaging. Bottom line: it was good. Give it a try. Dunno what some of these other experienced--never go to a brand new shop.

So against the voice in my head. Saying don't go back to this "Larkburger" My wife and I decided to give it 1 more shot... So they have listened to the reviews, and by golly they had 2 cashiers on. But there was nobody in line?? So only 1 cashier when they are slammed. But 2 cashiers when they are slow.. Huh?? They also took the bad customer service way to serious. Now the customer service is way over the top, and actually annoying. So we put our order in. Get our booth. Which was "DIRTY" but whatever. The food comes out.. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! "BUT" In the 20 minutes we were there. 5 "Different" employees including the Manager. Stopped at our table a TOTAL of 6 Different Times and asked. How are you doing? Is everything tasting good?? Which is great once or twice.. But When I cant even swallow the bite in my mouth between employees asking how we are... There is a definite problem!! "LEAVE ME ALONE WHILE I'M EATING MY OVER PRICED BURGER" Also: Employees eating in the dining room!! What is that all about? McDonald's doesn't even let their employees eat in front of the customers... Well I guess I need to go back to what I said in the prior review. "Back to the Alameda Store" OR MAYBE JUST CUT LARKBURGER OUT ALL TOGETHER!! And go to "PARK BURGER" Where the service is always great and the burgers are even better!!! BYE BYE Larkburger!!!!

Ever since I tried the Larkburger in the DTC, I was a fan of this burger joint. I was happy that they expanded to the Littleton area. Even though it's a bit pricey, I enjoy my meal whenever I go to Larkburger. They offer tuna burgers, which are great as well. The tuna is generously sliced and seared just right. Although some other reviewers dislike the fries, I don't have a problem with the fries being soft with a little crisp on the edges. I've never experienced bad service there and I feel like the employees do care about your dining experience. I'd definitely recommend this over Good Time. Try it at least once and I'm sure you'll be back!

Best upscale fast food burger. I like the Larkburger cooked medium and the chicken sandwich. Standard trimmings.

  • Monica L.

I thought the larkburger was exceptional for a fast-food burger. It was comparable to what you'd make at home if you bought good meat and hand-formed the burger yourself. The Parmesan truffle fries could have been a bit crisper but were delicious. I would definitely order them again. I wouldn't even think of ordering the plain ones. I'm anxious to go back and try the burger that won the Denver Burger Battle.

I think this place is overpriced. That said the burgers are yummy and juicy. Plus I love that its named for larkspur, here in co. The fries and shakes are yummy too. I love the modernist vibe. What is up with 9 dollar burgers that don't come with fries? Seriously. No likey. If they just had a meal deal, or something. I don't think counter restaurants should be more expensive then sit down places. It bugs me.

Yelpers - NEVER GO HERE. Damn...Yelp servers were down or I wouldn't have gone here. It deserves a one but let me clarify why: Staff - five star. OMG they couldn't have been nicer. They even yelled goodbye when we were leaving. Bathrooms - 5 star and spotlessly clean Prices: I never really look at prices - just want quality but yes it could be considered pricey for what it is, I guess. Menu - five star. Terrific selections. Fries - four star. Very salty but good Bun - four star. Damn good. Veggies on burger - exceeded five star and really fresh Meat - Yipes...the whole meat thing was bizarre. Beginning with the explanation that medium is actually almost rare. I can't bring myself to order anything medium well so I took a chance. WTF...why does Larkburger need to go against the definition of medium? The entire Free World defines this clearly so shame on Larkburger for being frikking stupid. But that aside, the meat was flavorless with no spice. I don't use salt on anything but damn this needed some salt. I could have shaken the fries over it I guess. An hour later my wife and I had indigestion and I felt really sick. The meat had a lot of gristle and reminded me of Burger King (aka crap) except BK never made me ill. Believe me that Larkburger is a ONE STAR in spite of all their efforts. The meat is actually a negative 5 so that gives them a ONE overall. Update: In spite of clogged arteries and impending cardiac arrest, I went to Freddie's later that day to KILL this memory as best I could.

1st to review, WOOTS! Imagine: It's opening night at a popular new burger joint in the suburbs. The dining room is packed. The line to order is out the door. Patrons are dreading a long wait. But alas! Larkburger has thier A-game on already! Within 10 minutes we have ordered, and received our burgers. Even better, the food is great! Best burger in town? The Denver Burger Battle thinks so. It's a tough choice since there are some really good burgers around these parts. It is near the top for sure, though. They use quality beef(not greasy), and season it well. The bun is awesome, the veggies fresh and crispy. The truffle aioli really made this burger stand out. I loved the side salad with ginger dressing, and the fries. I couldn't believe how well the staff was keeping up on such a busy opening night. You can tell that a lot of preparation and planning went into making this night something great instead of a nightmare that left everyone sour. Everyone knew what to do like they had been open for months. The kitchen staff was busting ass back there. Color me impressed.

Awesome healthy good. Try the gluten- free bun on your burger- it's surprisingly good. And the chopped kale salad is really tasty.

This place is awesome! Been there a few times now and their Larkburger is incredible! Medium (pink center, wow) with some Tillamook cheese, great toppings that are fresh, wonderful fries, yummy! The staff is extremely friendly and works hard to make customers happy. My new favorite place! Cost a little more but well worth it. Don't miss a chance at the best burger in the Denver area!

I don't know why all the mixed reviews -- I thought it was very good. The burger is better than what you get in most sit-down places. It was cooked accurately (my medium burger still had plenty of pink on the inside). The burger is similar to what you would make at home, with good meat. My only criticism is that the quality of the bun didn't approach that of the burger. Note that they have a mini burger if you don't feel like a 1/3rd pounder. Also a tuna burger and a veggie option. The fries are outstanding. My wife sent me back to get more. Again, they remind me of homemade fries, kind of floppy, but delicious. You can see huge bags of potatoes in the kitchen and the fries reflect that they were freshly made. I would rate this as better than In-and-Out (though a few bucks more) and only slightly less good than various "gourmet" burger joints. The standard burger plus standard fries and a drink will be inside of $10. You would have to go to a sit-down restaurant and pay at least that plus a standard tip and you'd wait longer for your food. An added bonus: ***fantastic happy hour prices*** Beers: $2 Milkshakes: $2 The beer selection included Dales, 1554, Newcastle, plus some other microbrews. Note that you cannot sit outside with an alcoholic beverage. It must be some silly municipal law. The service was friendly and efficient. We were there at 3:30 on a Saturday and it was only half full. The staff cheerfully put up with us and the two kids pestering them with questions about the menu before we ordered. The food arrived about five minutes after we sat down. Note that kids eat free on Mondays (check the website).

Delicious food, I love their fries! Their food is on the pricey side, but is worth it for their all natural ingredients.

Good tasting FRESH Angus burgers 1/3 lb cooked to order. This is good fresh burger not performed patty. Some may say it is pricey but all I have to say is at what restaurants do you get a burger at less than 10 bucks and you have to tip on top of it. It"s good like you made it yourself. When it is busy you need to be aware that the drink area is not a good setup. Good fast sit down casual. Try it.

My wife and I went here and both of us were disappointed and will not be back. Soggy fries, burger nothing special, overpriced (2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries and 2 Cokes almost $23). Frankly weboth felt burger king is better. Was hoping for a good burger place, since Fud's closed across the street some time ago. I understand a Smashburger will be opening a few blocks away, soon. Keeping my finger crossed, otherwise will keep going to Red R

WOW... I was very unimpressed with this over-priced, "Eco-friendly", burger joint. My burger was over cooked while my sons was very pink. My $5 shake was more like gritty chocolate milk blended with ice. The fries were cold and the turkey burger my other son didn't finish was under seasoned. We will not be returning.

After looking on line at the Larkburger site I was anxious to try what looked like some tasty, original food. I was somewhat underwhelmed by our experience. The customer service was pretty good, with the counter girl being helpful with our ordering, and the food was fairly quick for being cooked to order. The food was pretty good, a burger that actually looked like all the ad's. The burgers were perfectly cooked and the toppings fresh, the fries were crispy and quite tasty. On the down side, the truffle burger and truffle fries didn't taste in the least bit like truffle, though to be fair the parmesan on the fries made them very good. The biggest down side was the badly over priced menu, had I know it would cost nearly thirty dollars for lunch for two I would have gone somewhere else. I can't imagine I will return, the food was just not nearly good enough to justify the prices.

We have been back to Larkburger many times now and the service continues to improve and the food is still really tasty. The last two times I have ordered my tuna burger well-done, it has come to me well-done. The kinks of a new restaurant appear to be gone!

I have to give Larkburger FIVE big stars. No doubt. This was my first time at the Littleton location. This location appeared brand spankin' new. It looks like Larkburger is big on keeping the place spotless. I did come to find out that the location opened up in October 2012. A clean restroom and a clean dining room-two really good signs. The food arrived fairly quickly-not too fast, not too slow. I ordered up the famous Larkburger with fresh Tillamook Cheddar and a side of Truffle-Parm fries and a 16oz black and white shake. What a great combination. The burger was cooked perfectly. Nice and pink in the center, just like I like it. The Larkburger is so tasty and juicy. It literally melts in your mouth. It was so good, I decided to order another. I couldn't resist. Larkburger only packs about 1/3 pound of beef between the buns. It's not a lot of meat, but the quality is excellent. Its not cheap for the price, but you get what you pay for. Upon arrival at 1045 AM only one other table was eating. By the time I departed at 1145AM, the restaurant was 80% full. Talk about early bird lunch eaters!! I truly believe Larkburger serves up one of, if not the, best burger in Denver. Give it a try, you'll be happy you did.

I have read other reviews and mine is obviously a bit higher. I went there (instead of going to Subway) to treat myself after a long run. DIdn't want to be totally glutinous, so I ordered the chicken sandwich with pepperjack chesse. I put chulula on it and BOY WAS IT GOOD!!!!!!! Delish. Probably the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Don't like a lot of bun, but theirs was perfect. The girl working the counter was nice and professional. Tended to the stocking, cleaning etc. The place WAS DEAD however, which is not the best sign. Probably because I visited after the lunch hour and before the dinner hour. I was eager to try this place out since it just opened not too long ago. The sandwich cost me over $7, but it was a treat, so I would pay it again, especially considering how great it tasted. The manager was on some kind of break coughing all over himself which was distasteful, but oh well. (-1 star)

No Customer Care or service. For my first time I called for CARRYOUT during my lunch break. Order taker said 15 min, I went about 20 min later, 6 pm. About 12 people in a line that moves slowly due to one guy taking orders and moving slowly. Went to the counter to pick up food and pay. Heard the expediter say my name to the cook and "he's not here don't do that order" I said excuse me I'm here. He then said " have you paid ?" I replied " no " his reply was "you have to go to the back of the line" I replied "you are kidding". He fired back NO I'm not. I replied " I CAN walk out! Which is what I did. He said nothing. The back of the line was for people who were PLACING their initial order. What is the point of calling in orders to go?!? This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I will not go back to Larkburger. I work in a customer service industry and have relayed my experience to several clients already. Absent owners cause bad service, or in my case no service!

Not ready for prime time. They are doing all their staff "training" on their customers. Give them a couple months because you'll lose your mind if you need to get in and out of there in less than 30 minutes for a take out. Oh and your order won't be correct. Go to a different Lark Burger for now.

I brought my family here and had a great experience. My 8 y/o loved the Kid's Turkey Burger! My husband had the Truffle Burger with Bacon and loved it. I had the chicken burger. Best Chicken Sandwich ever. Very gourmet. Pounded chicken cutlet with spicy seasonings and the best part, crispy jalapeños and chipotle sauce. They offer them in lettuce wrap form for GF/Low Carb peeps. The service was great and the price was not much different then what a family of 4 would spend at Subway. Can't believe all these negative reviewers, especially the one that wrote a bad review yet said he's been there 7 times.

This is my absolute FAVORITE burger place! All the meat is local, and the potatoes are from the San Luis Valley. The Larkburger is full of taste and I can never pass up the truffle fries. They are addictive! Tonight I tried the chocolate milkshake, with ice cream from Boulder. That did not disappoint. I was told that they will soon be serving a salted caramel milkshake too. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant, but I make it a point to eat here when I'm in the area visiting my dad. Perhaps I can convince them to open a joint in Evergreen?

I ordered the basic lark burger and fries. The burger was decent, although the meat was a little dry. But the sauce made up for it. The fries, however, were disgusting. Soggy and raw in the middle. Plus the service was excruciatingly slow. There are way better burger joints for the price (5 Guys, for example).

I love the gluten-free burger, and I rave about it to other gluten free peops, but this shop is leaving a lot to be desired lately. Great front help; she was friendly and capable. Order took 20 minutes while I watched customers from behind me get their (rather large) orders. The waiting bench is within earshot of the kitchen, so I could hear the line manager berating the others for not getting fries on in time, but that doesn't change the other orders going out. The end was that there were no drinks in the bags for the kids meals......juice boxes. So I went over and grabbed 2 out of the ice. When I got to the car the juices had no straws, and the kids were really hot from waiting 20 minutes...........really a bummer. The only reason two stars today..............the gluten free bun is still really good, but messy. Get it together so I can go back.

This place is about as close to an "in n out" burger experience as you can get around here. High quality ingredients . . served hot and lot's of options including gluten-free. My go to is the chicken burger but the beef is also really good. service with a smile as well . . .

  • Garkie Z.

Its a little pricey yes. BUT its cooked fresh and it takes like real food, not fast food. Friendly service, too. Yes it costs more than the Wendy's across the street but it taste so much better, too, and I'm willing to wager its healthier. I'll eat here again!

Fail. If I'm going to wait 15 minutes for a burger, I would hope it's worth it. It wasn't. Everything tasted burnt and the buns were stale. Gross. I won't be back.

Food good. But man, they are so slow at this location. Took five employees over five minutes to get one order of fries ready. Most of the time they stood there and talked behind the counter. There were no Ther customers in line. Just me! And the fries were cold and burnt.

Great staff, great food! Had the larkburger and truffle fries.. delish! Brought friends back during their CO visit and everyone loved the food. Grass fed beef is awesome!

Meh. Smash burger is better. These burgers are so hit or miss. One day it will be great. Next day it will be dry and nasty. And they aren't cheap!

It bugs me.
