Cold Stone Creamery reminds me of an old fashioned place. They have unique flavors. Mine is the strawberry shake with pieces of fudge in it they ha e banana shakes and other creamy bowls of ice cream. The seating is limited but it's worth the wait. The service is fast once you get inside.

Standard, by the book Coldstone. It's likely that the employees serving you aren't old enough to vote, but they're quite capable of mixing sweet cream ice cream, graham crackers, canned apples, and caramel. Mmmmm caramel. I find Coldstone to be a lovely example of standardization and meeting my franchise expectation. Idaho. Virginia. Colorado. It's all the same. And they don't do that annoying singing near as much as they used to, so yay!

Just thought it couldn't get any worse! This will be my last time visiting the Cold Stone, and it's all because I had one more Groupon to redeem. It was a sunny Saturday and the line was constantly backed up to the door. Yet there was only one girl working. I'd called earlier trying to verify the terms of the Groupon, each of the 3 times lead to voice mail, now I know why! Poor girl was so tired with forced smiles and no more strength in her wrists after serving so many customers nonstop! I doubt she even had time to go to the bathroom. If you ask me, this is inhumane of the owner and it significantly lowers the quality of their service. It's amazing how much American customers can put up with! If this was in Asia, people would turn around and leave or complain up a storm! Not only did folks wait patiently for their turn, I did not see one person ask to sample anything which is a right robbed of them, IMO. We finally got half of our order: the Red Velvet Cheesecake flavor in a Like-It cup with almond slices mixed in (I wish they had peanuts!). The ice cream was really yummy and less artificial tasting than some of the other Red Velvet creamery products I've had elsewhere. But be prepared to look like a blood-sucking vampire! The red food coloring was so strong (heads-up, TMI!) you'll see it the next day when it comes out of your system, lol. Our second half of the order was a Hot Stone item: I asked for the Funnel Cake topped with Strawberry Passion ice cream and whipped cream instead of Vanilla Ice Cream with strawberry sauce. Was told it'll be 5 minutes. Oh it was longer than that: we finished our ice cream and went up to remind her and then we heard something being popped into the microwave/oven and heated, must be the funnel cake, which was overcooked, hard, and topped with yet another scoop of Red Velvet Cheesecake ice cream! Sigh. If she wasn't that busy I'd tell her she made our order wrong, but we felt prohibited. We don't really blame the poor girl, just wish her luck.

I've always been a fan of Cold Stone, and this location is no exception. There's not a lot of seating inside, but the people working are always fast and friendly. I've had ice cream I liked better (Southglenn Maggie Moo's, I miss you so), but Cold Stone's is reliably very good, and I love the concept of mix-ins. Their coffee ice cream is delicious, but my go-to is strawberry with a brownie mixed in. And no, I do not want to know how many calories that entails. Their milkshakes are quite good as well-- my husband swears by a shake with sweet cream ice cream and butterfingers blended in. Great for dessert after a movie at Alamo, or anytime you have a sweet tooth, really. I scream, you scream, we all scream...

Kaylie worked her buns off today! Great customer service even when she was all by herself on a busy Saturday! To the managers of this store....you need to put at least 2 teenagers on shift at a time!!!!! This sweet little girl is way too young to be put in charge of the amount of business walking in your store but she stayed calm and handled it as best as she could! I wish I could have jumped back there and helped her!!!!

This Coldstone is pretty standard - about 20 flavors of ice cream/sorbet, tons of mix-ins, different kinds of waffle cones dipped in numerous chocolates + sprinkles, etc. All the goods. As usual, the sizes are HUGE - I had the kid's size and that was even too big. The staff was friendly, but at some point seemed a little more involved in their conversation than in serving us. Other than that, this Coldstone works for me!
