I have been coming here and ordering from here for many years. Their food is amazing and the service is always great. I love them!

90 percent of my "cashew shrimp" was water chestnuts. Bland. Yuck. Almost returned to get my money back but was too tired. Skip it.

Holy best Chinese Batman!!! Deeeeelicious! So hot and fresh it was amazing! The garlic chicken is wonderful and so is the broccoli beef. Great won tons too! Delivery is really fast. I highly recommend them for a West side delivery.

I decided to try this joint out purely based on proximity and 4/5 star rating. A lot of Chinese places don't do a good lo mein. I thought theirs was pretty good. Lacking a little bit of flavor but at least they don't use spaghetti noodles! Fast, friendly and HOT.

THIS IS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! I am very picky on my Chinese food but the dinner combo plate of sesame chicken was beyond stuffed in the box! Usually other places skimp me on chicken and rice. And it being completely full for only 895 for dinner!? It's total winner. Beef on sticks are so good to! My one and only place I'll eat at.

Not sure why Yelp screwed up my old review...has a different name than mine and it has now been moved to the "not recommended" stack of reviews, but I'm now 30 and have been frequenting this place since I was a kid. Here is my original review. Hopefully Yelp doesn't get rid of it unfairly again. Very strange: I've eaten here since I was 7 or 8, I'm 29 now. This place has always been the best. I've lived in TX and Maine and traveled the country extensively, and had a very broad spectrum of Chinese food, and this place is still tops! Lots of people don't know this, but they make their crab cheese wontons fresh, so it's the only place that my wife can order them without crab! When they delivered to my house late once, they wouldn't take my money. It's these types of things that have made me a customer for life!

I'd say this is a pretty good little Chinese takeout place if you live in the area. We ordered the crab ragoons, which were delicious (but anything fried with cream cheese is delicious). For meals, we got the Mongolian Beef, Vegetable Lo Mein and Chicken in Garlic Sauce. All three were solid and good-size portions. This was a perfect take-out dinner after a day on the slopes.

Non-standard Chinese take out. The chicken with garlic sauce is spicy and yummy. The cashew chicken had peanuts instead- lol! We'll go again sometime.

A local favorite! Been coming for years, great food and service. I recommend the spicy garlic shrimp and sesame chicken. The owner is also very friendly.

As other Yelpers have noted, hot tea is complimentary here. Its not the strongest tea, but for being free of charge, its hard to complain about it. The egg rolls taste homemade and are full of vegetables. The hot mustard that they're sided with does a good job clearing your sinuses when they're congested. The only downside to this place is their fried rice. It comes in the traditional "ice cream bucket" style barrel, but it falls short. It needs more soy sauce while being prepared or more time being fried. I look forward to making return visits to this establishment.

Great value: I will give big 4 stars. For about $5.50, I had soup with crunch noodles, main meal with vegi egg rolls that came with fried rice. Ahh.. not to forget hot tea. Lot of Chinese restaurants and especially Viet restaurants will charge you for the tea but not this place. It was very good size lunch complete for $5.50 Hooray! I will go with steamed rice instead of fried. p.s. need to make the place smell lil better. the back draft (HVAC headache) caused by too much air sucked out from the kitchen hood resulted in main dining area smelling like restroom chemicals.

Ate here for lunch a few weeks back with my girlfriend, and was quite impressed. This is a decent Chinese establishment and the environment was very relaxing and clean. The food was not too expensive, and as with most Chinese restaurants, you get a healthy portion of food for the price you pay. The fried rice needed some help, but that should not detour you from eating here as I will defiantly go back sometime soon.

I used to order from this place fairly often and usually had the lunch specials delivered. The prices were great, the food was good, and it fed myself and my kids cheaply. Today, after not ordering from Canton Chinese in probably a year, when I came to my door, the delivery man had a big smile on his face and told me it was great to see me again and he wished me a Happy Thanksgiving. This type of service definitely made my day. Then when I had the food, I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. The Sesame Chicken and Combination Lo Mein were delicious, and tasted better than I had remembered. I won't wait as long between orders again.

Awesome food and prices! Large quantitys and friendly staff. Business is primarily takeout and delivery. Dine in is a little rustic, but quality of food totally makes up for it!

Difficult place to review, I've eaten there many times and it seems to take on different personalities every time. At first it was the local Chinese place that we all liked. Then we found another place nearby that had better food, but more expensive. So its back to this place and now the food isn't that great anymore. Well new chef (or recipes) and the place is great again. Then back to old recipes----- I'm done. Well that is how it was for years. I even ordered the sub-gum wonton soup one day, just as a quick easy thing to get and not only had it very few vegetables, but the wonton's had completely dissolved and were just a mush on the bottom. I decided to just stop going there as it wasn't worth it. Another place nearby was doing pretty good until one day they cooked the duck so much it was a rock. Inedible., but one thing I admired was they would accommodate the guest. If something wasn't on the lunch menu, but was on dinner, they would make a lunch sized portion for me, or if I wanted a few wontons. I wouldn't have to order 8 of them. that kind of thing. Well anyway I was over by Canton recently on a Sunday afternoon stopped in, tried to order lunch and the lady there says, no lunch, this is weekend. Well it being noon, I thought I could get lunch, I know the other place would do it, so it pissed me off. I wanted some soup, I wanted some egg rolls, I wanted the entree, but had to order all of them separately, which totally jacked up the price of my meal. The meal was pretty good, but it wasn't as good as the other place. Honestly, I think I've had enough of Canton.

One of favorite Chinese places to go in Denver Metro. My kids and I have been going since they were little ones back in the 90s... and they still go regularly with their families. I make sure I go whenever I am in town.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
