I usually meet a friend once a week for lunch, and for the past few months we've met at Asian Chefs. I really like it. It's kind of a hidden gem in my opinion. Parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes if they are busy, so you may have to park farther away & walk a little, but it's worth it. You would never know it from the outside, but inside the decor is trendy and pretty cool looking - lots of vivid red, black walls with what looks like Chinese characters written in gold all over. Kind of classy. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed, peaceful, you don't have to shout over music etc. to have a conversation with someone. I have some limitations on what I can order (I eat gluten-free) so I tend to usually order the same things (Panany Curry, and another dish whose name I forgot), but it's always been very good. I usually end up taking quite a bit of it home as the portions are pretty large. Plus you get soup w/ the meal and choice of an egg roll or something else (I end up giving them to my friend because they contain wheat). You also get a pot of tea with your meal if you like, which I like for the caffeine refresh to get me through the rest of the afternoon. And the prices are amazing. For what I usually order I think it runs around $8 and some change. At least that's what I paid today, before the tip. It seems to be a family-owned place. We always have the same waitress, who I think is probably the mother, and she is awesome - always friendly, smiling, very quick, attentive and unobtrusive (which is incredibly rare in a waiter/waitress and much appreciated). I really like her. Anyway, I really like the place.

Superb casual Chinese. Fresh, quality ingredients and big portions at very reasonable prices. I've had numerous dishes on various occasions and everything is flavorful and properly prepared. Delivery is usually quoted at 45 minutes, but they almost always arrive within 30. It's the only Chinese restaurant I trust in SW Littleton.

After sitting in an empty restaurant for 20 min we left because the waiter never came and attempted to talk to us or take our order.

Fried, fried and fried. Do you like fried things? And no veggies? Asian Chefs deliver! Sweet and sour shrimp- thick battered shrimp with a side of sauce. Sesame tofu- tiny limp tofu with sauce. Salt and pepper wings- battered bone-in fried. Egg rolls- 2. Also fried. Of course. Not a veggie in the order. But crispy and fried and delivered hot. Thanks Asian Chefs!

BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT EVER!! My boyfriend and I have yet to find a place that comes even close to Asian chefs. With their affordable prices, fresh made to order food, and pleasant atmosphere, they win us over every time.

Excellent Chinese with class! A cut above is every way. I opted for Thai Panang curry. I was skeptical ordering Thai at a Chinese establishment, but the dish was well flavored. Large portions for $11. Their typical rice choices are steamed or fried, but I asked for brown, which they did have!

I'm hard pressed to find a decent chinese restaurant in the Denver / front range area. Which is a shame because I do loves me some decent chinese food on a Sunday night. (Or as I refer to it, just food) I'm happy to report that Asian Chefs has some pretty tasty options! I love their sesame tofu, the hot and sour soup is decent, their egg drop is tasty and their fried rice options are also great. I love their salt and pepper chicken wings though, they are the real deal! The seasoning is perfection! They deliver and the service is decent. They are a stand-by when I'm on this side of town, for sure. A definite solid option for chinese in Littleton!

I've been coming here for four years, at least. Let me be honest about why.... Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings. Yep, if everything else about this place fell to crap and all that was left were those wings? I'd still come here. I'd go as far as to appoint the Salt and Pepper Wings as being placed on my list of "Death Row Last Meals". I think they cost $5.50, and you get a huge plate of wings ( get it as an entree) with a pile of some sort of onions, and their S&P sauce.....try it. As it is, my boyfriend and I have had numerous other meals here, soups here....everything here is really quite delicious. I'd point some specific things out, but from Shrimp dishes to appetizers to vegetarian dishes to chicken dishes, everything here is wonderful. They don't get a lot of traffic, which worries me, since if they close I will never figure out what combination of seasonings they put on those wings.....

Very good price for the quality, presentation, portion, price and of course taste. Free hot tea, rice and oranges for desert. A family of 5 were able to eat for less than $50 including almost 20% tip. Very friendly and helpful server. No fish on the menu!

we used to really like this place but when we went there tonight it was bad. All of the staff have their little kids running around the restaurant. They were outside initially but then it got dark and they all came in and played on their ipads and video games. One was playing a piano game the entire time we were trying to have dinner. I had one serving of my meal and asked for the bill and left. I don't go out to dinner to listen to 7 small children playing video games and crying.

The four-star average of this place is undeserved unless it's being rated as fake Chinese food for American tastes. But if that's your thing, maybe it won't be the great disappointment it was for me.

Craving Chinese on a Friday night and decided to try out this place close to home. Reviews looked good so why not? I liked the decor and the vibe but it was not very busy. The food looked good on other peoples plates so we were encouraged. Started with crab cheese wontons and I had the Mongolian beef and the GF had Moo Goo Giapan and we split a hot and sour soup. The wontons had a hint of crab but mostly cream cheese stuffed in preproduced wonton shells. The H&S was a little dull with not much depth. The entrees were OK - beef dish was not overly peppered and had lots of onions, the vegetables were fresh with the chicken. Overall they were pretty good and flavorable. However, the entrees tasted so much better the next day. The service was extremely slow in a place that was only a quarter full at most. I think we will stick with Asian Spice in the neighborhood. Too bad we were just spoiled with Peking Tokyo in the old 'hood. Other places are just second best, especially in the crab cheese wonton department. We may go back to try the salt and pepper wings since that seems to be the recommendation from fellow Yelpers.

The food was terrific. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. The prices are very reasonable. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

The food is great here. Awesome crab-cheese wontons. Everything I eat here, I have enjoyed. The only downside is that they don't deliver to me and I'm only a few miles away. Other than that, they are great.

Good food. I never dine in. I usually pick it up because the delivery takes a long time. They are a little pricey but overall, the food is good.

I've had great luck here. Not the nicest building but the food is tasty, portion sizes are good, and it's HOT (temperature wise) when delivered.

Always delicious! Fast, friendly service. They end your meal with more than a fortune cookie. You get a special treat!

This is a solid Chinese restaurant. Very reasonable and good quality food. Good cuts of chicken in all dishes, not gross fat. We go here a lot.

Good food, terrible service. Half the staff was outside playing with their kids. Took ten minutes for the server to visit our table. Not so friendly.

Especially liked the salt and pepper wings. Luncheon pricing reasonable. Real chicken in the fried hot and spicy chicken was nice, although the chicken was neither hot or spicy. Food is pretty average Chinese although we did see they use fresh veggies. Decor is tired, bathroom dingy. It has to be difficult to run a family restaurant. Give them a try, as they are putting forth a sincere effort in the food. Maybe better for delivery.

This is our go to Asian place during the week. Great food, great prices and its never crowded.

The food here is pretty good and I was pleasantly surprised at lunch time. I ordered the shrimp with vegetables and the dish came out with the most perfectly cooked veggies and a delicate sauce, that was flavorful and tangy. Prices at lunch considering the amount of food we received were incredible. The two of us got a huge lunch for $16! The reason I give it 3 stars is that the restaurant's interior design is a little over top for me. It's covered in black, red and silver and really disorienting. And there are these weird red lanterns that hang over the booths and the tassels are right in your face when you're trying to talk to the person across the table from you. And the tea was weird. There was something in it that made it taste very unusual. It tasted almost medicinal, like Tiger Balm, and it didn't go well with the food at all.

We've been going to Asian Chef's for several years. Used to go before they changed ownership from Columbine Gardens. I was nervous the food wouldn't be as good but they have impressed me. They made-over the inside decor and introduced some new items. They have the best sit-down for a Chinese restaurant in the burbs, almost kinda hip. Spacious and comfortable. The food is great! The chicken is high quality, the shrimp are large, and sauces are all delicious! They have hands down the BEST orange chicken. They also have a very quick delivery.

I've dine in a couple times and service has been good. We get mostly delivery. They are very fast. They usually tell us 40 mins for delivery but we always get it within 20 mins. The food is always steaming hot. Friendly drivers. I believe they are the best Chinese food place in this area.

Chinese food is something that I love in concept, but hate 99.9% of the time in execution. In general, the food is very poor quality and no amount of MSG can make it any better. I have lived in San Francisco, Honolulu & Denver over the past 10 years of my life and only had about a 5% success rate, if that, with Chinese food. Because of this, I had given up completely on Chinese food and didn't bother wasting my money on what may or may not have been chicken that I was eating. Fast forward to this Christmas Day. We were at my In-Laws house and Chinese food out at Asian Chefs was the course for the evening. I was a little scared about getting burned by another low quality Chinese restaurant, but considering the day, it was either Chinese food or no food at all. Asian Chefs was not only open for Christmas (bonus points in my book), but was bustling. The mood seemed pretty positive and the restaurant's decor was above average for the burbs. The service was good and we ordered a ton of food since we hadn't eaten since breakfast. Wow! This was some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten and the chicken and other meats were high quality. Honestly, I can't wait to go back to get more of their Mongolian Beef and Sesame Chicken. The lo mein and egg drop soup were not as great as the other dishes we had, but they were still better than most Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to go back.

Upon arriving at Asian Chefs, one is underwhelmed by the outside and wonders if it's even still in business, but if you venture inside, you'll find a delightfully red semi modern designed dining room. I'm never disappointed with the food when we go to Asian Chefs. The food is always fresh, and the wait staff is courteous and helpful. Their menu has many great options to choose from. Their egg rolls are among the best I've found outside of China Town in San Fran. As far as Denver goes, it really cannot get any better than this. They are also child friendly. If you are looking for decent Chinese food in the greater Denver area, I TOTALLY recommend this place!

I have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that has decent food and after 2 yrs of being back in Denver I finally found one. Unfortunately I am not on this side of town so I will have to make special trips to eat here. The pork wraps were awesome. Crab cheese wontons - awesome, fried dumplings-awesome, sesame chicken -awesome...oh and Mai-Tai- double awesome.

Eat here can be a mixed bag, some items are pretty good others are awful. Nothing we have had has ever been amazing but for the price it beats panda express.

The food is surprisingly really good at just the right price. The staff is friendly and the food is lighter than typical asian food.

Most of the food here is light and delicious but avoid the garlic shrimp if you can. It comes out as a pink sauce which looks kind of odd given the quality of their other dishes. The servers are delightful and I found them to be friendly. I've eaten in and ordered delivery and their food has been consistent. Overall they are in the upper half of my favorite Chinese restauraunts in Littleton with coal mine dragon being the best by far.

I've eaten here many times as this is the place my extended family and some friends choose.Littleton has a horrible selection of restaurants so there's not much around this area. The staff is consistently rude and unfriendly. This goes for the wait staff but also the hostesses and bussers. This often ruins the meal for me. The food is generally OK, but I feel there is too much salt or MSG? in the food as I usually end up with a headache and very thirsty!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
