Have not eaten yet but this place smells awesome. Lunch specials are a little on the high side but if the food tastes anything like it smells this place gets another star. Will update after this food hits the hatch. (Minus 1 star for the flies that keep dive bombing me). And yes I've had my shower this morning. Lol

Do not eat here. If you like better Chinese food. Where to start. Curt service. Server acted like we were wasting her time. Maybe she was ashamed of the food. Asked for a Korean noodle bowl. No Kimchee, no egg, and had canned slimy button mushrooms, and spaghetti pasta. And it got worse. The vegetables were canned and either too mushy or too woody.

Walked in and every table had dirty dishes on it but one... Most people were not eating but watching the basketball game on TV... Despite the "signs" we sat down at the only clean table...too bad we didn't check the booth seats before sitting...they were sticky... It was after 8:30 and we were starving... Our rule on vacations is no chains... We never make exceptions...we should have. We ordered two curry chickens, one pad thai, and one chicken low mien (recommended as the best and most popular dish)...despite skiing all day, missing lunch, and driving from vail when the slopes closed no one finished their meal. In fact you would have thought we were a bunch of 3rd graders facing a plate of liver and onions with a side of brussel sprouts...lots of stirring the food around while looking for a pet to feed...unfortunately, there were no pets... We left, still hungry with that nauseous bloated feeling that you know will haunt you all night... Pass on this place. Go to a chain.

The lady behind the counter is personable and very entertaining, the place is decent chinese in the middle of nowhere, and she's open until 9pm on a Monday. Plus it's clean inside with a tv. Give this woman props.

Restaurant appears very clean, tables and booths available. Bathrooms could use a good scrub down and a makeover. Good steamed pork dumplings, the wrapper was very thick and a bit chewy. Wonder if they make them here? They were stuffed full however, and served with a spicy soy sauce.

What a nice surprise in the middle of a small town. The soup was very well seasoned and obviously made in house. The meal was cooked to order, vegetables extremely fresh, used all white meat in dishes we ordered and price extremely reasonable...great lunch stop...

Unexpectedly good Chinese food. My son had pho which was also good. The menu was more extensive than seemed possible. Quick and friendly service. Don't let the exterior scare you away.

Food was pretty good, but they screwed up my order. The service was also subpar. Not a great option, but you can do worse

Probably the best Asian food between Denver and Hays. A treat in the middle of a long lonely drive - much better food than the truck stop places on the other side of town.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
