I'm rather embarrassed to admit that I like this place. Me, who loathes all chain restaurants (so I say). Yes, it's a bit overpriced, but if you hit the happy hour it's a great place for drinks and appetizers. They have delicious burgers and sandwiches - you get what you pay for there - and okay appetizers. Some of their salads are great, others are not so much. I find the entrees to be very hit or miss - I tried the southern chicken and thought it was awful (way too much breading and pounded way too thin). However, the enchilada stack is amazingly delicous. They have a great selection of kids meals for $5.95 and it's a great, loud atmosphere to bring my kids - no one notices when they act up. On Mondays, kids eat free. Hate to say it, hubby and I come with the kids way more often than we should.

Pricey and noisy.... the waitress came around at her leisure. The food was kind of boring. Beer selection was good.

This is a great place for a drink, but mediocre for food. I'm not really interested in paying $15 for lunch if the food is just "okay." Stopping by and sitting at the bar is possibly in my future, but I'm not really interested in more food.

This place has a lot of sitting and it is still busy. Came here on a Thursday night at about 7:30 and had about a 10 minute wait. I knew it had to be good because this place has a ton of table compared to most restaurants and we still had to wait. Needless to say this place did not disappoint. I got a burger and it was delicious. I would definitely come back to this place if I am in the area.

This place is your basic better than average chain style restaurant. I think that the sandwiches are your best bet. I haven't been a huge fan of their entrees or salads which can both be pricey.

I've heard from everyone that has ate here just how wonderful it is. I finally was in the area and figured I'd try it. Don't be put off that it's located in the mall it's a great place with great food. I loved the fact that they offer their lunch specials 7 days a week (of course during lunch hours but it's very uncommon to find a place that upholds their lunch specials on Sat & Sun). Since it was my first time there I opted for the half sandwich, half salad lunch special. I got their Roast Beef Dip sandwich and the Spicy House Salad. Both were amazing!! The salad was fresh and crisp and the dressing was delicious (I also loved that they didn't drench the salad in it, they used just the right amount) and the sandwich was warm and toasty with this wonderful horseradish cream that made it oh so much more tasty. We were seated by the kitchen which as an AVID watcher of any kitchen reality show I must say they have it together! Food was coming out quickly and orderly. We didn't try any of their varieties of beer (will HAVE to go back and do so) but the bar is very large and inviting and there were tons of TVs through out the restaurant so I could see it being a good place to catch a sporting event. The customer service was also on point, everyone was friendly and had a smile on their face. We were seated quickly and our waiter was very pleasant. All in all a good experience!

For a town filled with chain after chain, the Yard House definitely stands out! We love it here...the happy hour is the best in town! Cheap beer on tap, martini's and some of the tastiest wings you've had! Great atmosphere, altho their idea of classic rock isn't always what you'd think, but a really lively, comfortable, yummy place to go! Definitely a must try!

This place literally has 100+ beers on tap -- the majority of them are quality beers too (including local breweries). We only had appetizers when we were there, including a great cheese and spinach dip that I am still thinking about a couple days later. 6 beers and 3 appetizers later, it was $84 (with tip).

This upscale "Sports Bar" is a great stop for their happy hour. Everyday from 3-6 and Fri-Sat 10-midnight. Get there early! Place becomes very busy with hour long waits frequently. Can be loud, not conducive to discussion. Still half-priced appetizers and beers from around the world (115 or so on tap) are perfect for a pre-movie Friday evening. Outside of happy hour the food is still excellent, if on the mid-high price range. My suggestion is an Egyptian Peach beer blend and their chicken strips with sweet potato fries.

Good but not great. Expect a loud atmosphere. Great happy hour 4-6 10-midnight. Amazing beer selection on tap!

I'm in the area a fair amount for business, and the Yard House has become a team favorite - mostly because my team is mostly men and this place has an amazing beer selection and tons of TVs for watching sports. You can actually see the lines being run from the tap room, along the ceiling, and over to the bar - a pretty nifty aesthetic. The food is hit and miss as other have noted. The lettuce wraps are fantastic - I question the use of pine nuts in them, but heck, I love pine nuts, so they work for me. The dipping spices run the gamut of mild to super spicy, so that is good for a crowd as well. Tonight, we also got a margherita pizza as an appetizer for the table. All in all pretty good, but the crust was kind of bland. Like it needed a little salt added to the dough. It was perfectly thin and crispy though, so it had potential to be fabulous instead of just pretty good. I also got the chicken garlic noodles which were ok, but I preferred the chicken enchilada stack that I had gotten the last time. The noodles were a little overcooked, and kind of bland, and not very garlicky. Good use of veggies on it though, and a couple shots of soy sauce really brightened up the flavor. A couple of folks also got the jambalaya, and judging by the empty plates, it looks like those were enjoyed. This place also worked well for the vegetarian in the group - it was nice to see him with something other than a salad for dinner. The beers of course were the star of the show. I think our table of 8 must have ordered 20 different beers through the course of the dinner and nearly every one seemed to be a winner - fresh tasting, cold, and as described. Our server was very attentive, and waters were refilled with the same regularity as the beers. We didn't feel rushed or pressured, but we weren't ignored either. I am confident that we'll be back there for additional group outings.

After a rather brutal 12.2 mile hike to Ptarmigan Peak near Silverthorne (the guide was 9.2, ouch) we continued our tradition of a few adult beverages and good post hike. We arrifved the at the Yardhouse with perfect timing for the 3Pm to 6PM happy hour with great drink and food specials. This is a spacious, open type of place with a huge round center placed bar with mega types of draft beer. Our waitress was superb-friendly, funny, and she reviewed all the happy hour specials (she did not say the tacky phrase of this is my favorite dish!) 15-20 appetizers are half priced along with drink price reductions. I had the spicy tuna roll, excellent flavor in a portion so large we could have shared (of course we did), Cherry Creek girl enjoyed the lettuce wraps with spicy chicken, peanut sauce, with very fresh lettuce, 3 dipping sauces. We also tried the beef sliders, wow, high grade shreeded beef with onions on very fresh pint size rolls. Salmon Creek chard was $4.00 glass, Stella beer $5. This was our second visit to the Yardhouse after hiking, and both experiences were quite positive, the service is outstanding. Only drawback is the proximity to a major mall!

for real? this is like the douche bag version of applebee's. i have been here 4 times now (not by choice) and i have never even had o.k. food. i ask how does one f up mac and cheese?!? how bout there grilled cheese that tasted like feet? mmm that sounds delish.

I was not that impressed. Very cookie cutter all around and they make my ears bleed with nothing but classic rock. Expand your horizons people.

The perfect pit stop during a hectic day of shopping. We had an inkling of what we were getting ourselves into when we were referred to go to the Yard House for a beverage. They are not kidding when they say that they have the "World's Largest Selection of Draft Beer". This place is like Disneyland for a beer enthusiast with Mickey as your bartender.

Yard house is one of my favorite national chains and I don't like very many. I haven't been to yard house in about 5 years so I was excited to check this one out seeing as they don't have any in Louisiana. Sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent. Very professional, friendly and patient as they should be with the variety of their drink and food menu. Ordered a burger mid rare it was a lot closer to medium but overall still delicious flavor a so the over cook was forgiven. The beer menu used to be a lot easier to decipher it seems more complicated as its organized now but I tried 2 good local Colorado beers and called it a night. Great service, 3.5 star food and huge alcohol selection. Keep it up YH

We ate at Yard House Sunday after the Broncos game on our way back to the mountains. It was an absolute disappointment. First, our appetizers were luke-warm at the best, not so appetizing for truffle fries, wings, and calamari. Then, we got our entrees, my husband was trying to cut his fatty, tough rib-eye and disgusting broccoli. The accidentally bumped the steak sauce and it fell on the table. We asked our waiter, Tobias, the only redeeming part of the restaurant, for a few napkins, he was great and got everything. Then the female manager came up and asked "is this your first time using utensils?" Never in my life has anyone been so rude. When we complained about her, she took it upon herself to come back and tell us why she said what she said. That woman should NEVER work in customer service let alone in management. I will NEVER be back to that location and will be sure to tell everyone just how awful, unprofessional, and horrible they are.

Had to meet a friend midway between DIA and Loveland Pass. We met at Yard House and were pleasantly surprised at the late night offerings. It was after 10 pm and they had a happy hour priced menu for the late night crowd. I remember the tuna tartar being wonderful and beautifully arranged. Everything we ordered was fantastic, the bartenders and servers were all point and they had an amazing variety of beers on tap. Definitely a great place to meet up w friends or take a date. The area is one of the many around Denver that has gone thru a transition and Yard House is in a great place to serve the area.

We came here for a mid afternoon beer stop. I do like their extensive beer menu and just for good measure we ordered their truffle fries. My beer choice was a peche lambic which is probably my most favorite beer although it's not a local one. The salty, crispy fries went perfectly with the sweet, bubbly lambic. Service was prompt and attentive. Overall a nice beer break.

Sat outside. Much quieter than inside and better for discussion with the over 60 guests. Food was average. However the chicken pot pie was amazing and enormous. What a surprise to see it arrive the size of a 9" pie plate. Pear Cider is so crisp and refreshing.

I really like this place, I have been here a few times and have tried a good amount of the things on the menu. I have not been disappointed yet and that is saying something. I have taken pictures of everything I have eaten and tried. The mac and cheese is amazing with the bacon, oh man. Then you have the fried chicken, I kid you not it is the best fried chicken of your life. It is amazing and well presented. I was expecting the same traditional bone in chicken fried dinner. NO, NOT one bit the thing was a masterpiece on those precious mashed potatoes. The potatoes are always good and they always make them in such fantastic ways. Its a great place for lunch, dinner or just to snack. They have a large number of drinks you can choose between as well if you are into drinking. The bathrooms are always clean and enjoyable for a solid sit down #2 or just a standing #1.

A great pre-movie place! Happy hour is excellent but almost always a wait if you get there after 5! I love the firecracker wings and the onion soup is great! Also try the grilled cheese and tomato soup! Lots of draft beers to choose from, try a 1/2 yard glass. We go at least once every couple weeks and are never disappointed!

Came by yard house this afternoon for some cold drinks and a steak. Really enjoyed the yard house brews and service was really good. I ordered the ribeye and shrimp presentation was fantastic but the medium rare steak I ordered was well done. I'm not one to send something back so I still ate it. Their own steak sauce is delish to help it go down. Great spot is just avoid ribeyes

Good spot for work holiday parties, and our server was top notch, she didn't need to be asked twice and got all of our stuff correct, and in a speedy manner. I adored her! I love the huge menu! Though it took me forever to decide on one thing, but hey, that'll keep me coming back! Several things stood out but I picked the Tomato Bisque and Grilled Cheese (with bacon). The portion was quite big, truly comfort food! It's not the best grilled cheese I've ever had but it was recommendable. All of my co-workers seemed to enjoy their dishes and drinks too. One shared her onion tower with us, it was everything you'd expect. She liked the sauce so much she asked for another serving to go!

  • LaTonia W.

This was my first time at this Yardhouse and once again it did not disappoint. The Escalade Margarita was delish. The 2 shots of 1800 hit the spot and the Grilled Cheese and Organic Tomato Bisque will keep me coming back. I will say that the size bread used at this Colorado location is much smaller than the bread used for the Grilled Cheese sandwiches at the Las Vegas (Town Square?) location. Both are equally as yummy though!

You can only taste a few beers before they start charging you, but the nachos are plentiful and pretty good. If you go when there is a lot of people you will be overlooked a little, as with any crowded restaurant. I wouldn't really recommend this place, but I don't complain when other people choose it.

  • Jess M.

This place is safe ... and a little expensive. The food has great presentation, but tastes meh. The beer selection looks extensive, but I have difficulties finding beers that I want to order. There are so many other great bars/pubs that I would rather be drinking and eating at.

    (2)
  • Steven P.

They seem to have a lot of good beers but they were tapped out of about 40% of the brews there so I had to go for #3 on my list of preferences. Also the daytime bartender was very unfriendly. I had a beer and ate my lunch and she never asked how I was doing or even offered water. Also I wanted another beer but the bartender didn't offer and she just threw the bill in front of me and walked off so I left. I left a good tip because my wife is also a bartender and I think that's karma, but it would have been a fatter tip if the bartender wasn't so standoffish. Lamb burger was actually really good but other than that, meh. Would have been 3stars if not for the service and lack of beer. What can you expect from a chain though lol!!! I wouldn't come back and wouldn't advise going here

I'm a burger lover and am always in search of a burger that has exceptional quality, top ingredients and a larger patty than traditional Freddy's, Smash Burger or 5 guys. They have some very unique burger selections so I thought I would give them a try. I would have to say I made the right choice in choosing Yardhouse. Probably the best burger you will find in the Colorado Mills area. The burger itself was top rate, juicy and 6oz or better. The burger to bun ratio was perfect. I had the BBQ, bacon with cheddar. I asked for BBQ on the side but she says they brush it on prior to cooking which was great. Each of the three toppings could be tasted but none of them overwhelmed the flavor. The bacon was plentiful!! I am dropping a star for a few reasons. First the truffle fries that came with it were on the colder side and very greasy. Truffle is kind of greasy in general but being cold wasn't cool. I think they have a holding station on cooked fries because of the gigantic menu they offer. Secondly, my waitress (Betty Page appearance) was good enough but you couldn't crack a smile out of her. She didn't leave you the impression she would have liked a "send back" but she sure knew her job and came to my table several times. Overall a very good burger experience and I will be back!

I frequent this place often between 3-6 pm or after 10 pm for either of their happy hours. Every time I sit at the bar the service is lightning fast. Sometimes I have food on the table within 15 minutes of walking in the door. Rissa is a top notch bar tender along with the rest of the staff. Friendly and efficient. If you stick to their happy hour menu you can't go wrong. The biggest plate of nachos for $7!? Onion ring towers, fried chicken strips, wings, chicken garlic noodles are all things I order regularly and have never been disappointed in taste. Their food is the best around for the $$$ you spend. Also, I love clam chowder and I order it everywhere I go. Best in the state, in my opinion. A few warnings. If you sit at a table it occasionally runs a little slower than sitting at the bar, but nothing terrible. Also, the music and overall noise level is up there, but you shouldn't take away a star because that's the vibe they are going for. Know what you are getting into. Lastly, timing is everything. Get there before 4 and you won't wait on weekdays. Get there right at 10pm for reverse happy hour and there is never a wait.

Stopped here on a recent visit to Denver. They easily accommodated our party of 7. Huge beer menu. Food and drinks were fabulous, the service was even better.

  • Nicole P.

Why is the menu so big? HUGE? Everything I've had here has been good, so don't let the extent of the menu intimidate you as it does me. Great selection on tap, too. They even acknowledge the ever important holiday known as National IPA Day. At lunch I suggest the pick 2 lunches, I most recently went for the ceaser salad and au jus sandwich. My meaty sandwich was really good, but I'm glad it was only half size. Perfect for me.

  • Graham K.

I used to like this place a lot more. Burgers have gone from great to a solid meh. Too much semi dry bun with a semi dry patty (ordered medium) and not enough bernaise to taste. It needed ketchup. Fries are too dang small - like eating shoestring potatoes out of a can. Still love the poke stack app - but it's really not worth the bother. Then a $60 bill for 2 apps a burger and 2 iced teas. Uh....no...

This place has the absolute best cooked steak out of any steak house ever.....MUST try the pepper crusted filet....best steak in town!!!!! Great customer service and atmosphere

Always have a good time at the yardhouse. Met a friend who was having a pretty rough day, and ordered the chicken nachos- I'm not usually a nacho person, but yum. The bartender also recommended a great glass of wine (I know... Wine at the yardhouse?).

  • Michelle K.

With a toddler, sometimes going to a loud, crowded restaurant with a decent happy hour is the way to go on a Sunday evening. We've been here a couple times and while the food can be hit and miss, the fact that it's a large and loud restaurant makes it easy to enjoy a little happy hour with a rambunctious toddler. I would recommend the kung pao calamari and the crab cakes, but avoid the tuna poke, chicken lettuce wraps and Korean bbq from the kids' menu. The waitstaff is always efficient and friendly even when it's as hectic as it gets.

I was literally trapped and lost within the Colorado Mills mall and decided to come in here to refuel and regroup. I've been to the Yard House downtown but only for beers. This was my first time eating here. I give them 4 stars for the beer selection. It's massive and eclectic. I give them 1 star for the food. The problem, I think, is that the menu also is massive and eclectic. I had the pastrami sandwich with fries. The meat was very poor, the garlic bread it's served on isn't a great choice, and even the fries were bland. I'd come back for a drink, but not to eat.

This place has an exceptional draft beer selection, both local and not. The bartender, Sebastian, was extremely knowledgable about all of the beers I asked him about and made great recommendations for the type of Beer I like. They also have ridiculous happy hour specials for food and drinks! Highly recommend it. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was how dark it is

This is my favorite place to dine next to the mall, and probably the only place there I'll be stopping for a bite since they closed down the Chili's Too. It's located next to the Super Target and we always hear classic rock playing from the patio dining area when we pass by on our way to the movie theater or black light golf course, which is always an attention-grabber when you're next to the suburban hub of Christmas tunes or lukewarm muzak that is the staple of any mall. The food is amazing; be sure to try the garlic noodle appetizer, which is both intensely flavorful and affordable, and the brussels sprouts cannot be beaten either. The burgers are large and flavorful, and the fries are surprisingly addictive. Order some extra; you'll thank me later. They have such an amazing selection of beer that I have yet to try everything they have available, including "dessert" beer selections such as Young's Double Chocolate Stout with Framboise, a "beer cocktail" that I much prefer to cheesecake or anything else as hackneyed as a standard dessert. They likely have cheesecake, too, but for cheesecake I'll go to a cheesecake restaurant instead of ordering it at the restaurant that advertises "The World's Largest Selection of Draft Beer." The beers are all served at a temperature I prefer; cold, but not so cold as to shock the taste buds into a sense of panic that allows Coors Light to be at all palatable. I don't fancy myself much of a beer snob, as I'll drink about anything, but I *do* like to taste it, at least. Ask the server about any new taps or specials they're running, or what their recommendations are; you might find out something new, and that's always a good thing. The servers, likewise, have always been friendly and inviting, and more than happy to tell you what their favorite items or selections are. We'll definitely be back next time we're at the mall. I hear their beer menu beckoning me even now...

I hate to give YardHouse only three stars. I've been frequenting their happy hour for years - PY (Pre Yelp). They have a great selection of good HH food specials. They also have over a hundred beers on tap. That's my perfect HH. Today however, we visited for lunch. We were absolutely shocked when we saw our tab. Our imported beers (nothing special, available at your local liquor store) were $6.75! That's incredible. They're good beers, but that price is unreasonably excessive. It seems like this chain has gotten a little too big for their britches? I've also wanted to complain about something for years. Their beer is never cold enough. It seems like it's in the 41-44 degree range. That may be the temperature that real hardcore enthusiasts like, but I prefer beer to be in the 35 deg range if possible. Personal preference, but I bet everyone will agree that the 4-5 dollar range is more reasonable than almost $7.

Yard House used to be my favorite happy hour spot but now I've switch to somewhere else because my favorite dish was the California Roll! That was the dish that brought me in over and over, and now they killed it. Instead of being semi-healthy, light & delicious with crab, shrimp, & avocado, it is fried, smaller, and covered in Mayo!! (Ewww!) it's still bearable, but I will not be ordering it anymore. And therefore have no reason to go there anymore. Good job Yard House, you've killed a top dish, & you've lost a good customer who usually brings lots of friends.

This is one of my favorite restaurants for a few reasons: 1. They have so many vegetarian options! You can get practically any of their meat dishes with a Gardein substitution. Yum. 2. The beer selection is amazing. 3. They have lots of booths. And 4. The menu is huge. It's so hard to choose. I wish there were more Yard Houses closer to me!

This place has not only amazing food, but excellent service. I ordered a steak salad (which was so good). The staff here are so kind and welcoming. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.

We recently went to Yardhouse for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday. Yardhouse is a very, very noisy place to dine and converse so be aware of what time of day you choose to visit this establishment if conversation is important to you. However, the beer menu is impressive and the men in our party did appreciate the choices and remarked how much they liked it. The menu is extensive as well and has something for everyone it seems. My husband enjoyed his Cuban sandwich and French fries and the Halibut over mashed potatoes and Bock Choy was well prepared and very delicious. Our dinner companions smiled as they demolished their fish tacos and shrimp pasta. The restaurant even comped a small chocolate soufflé for our celebration and service was top notch. The only negatives are the noise factor and no reservations for small parties.

Food at the yard House was quite good. Each selection by our group was thoroughly enjoyed from the chopped salad , tacos and to the French dip with the exception of the child's spaghetti and meatballs which had a burnt flavor both in the sauce and the meatball. That was inedible. My disappoint was as we left. I needed to use the women's room and was disgusted. Obviously the room had not been attended to for a long time. The toilets were unflushed, there was paper all around and it smelled. Whomever they use to clean the place does not. Dirt crusted the space between the wall and the floor in the corner stall. My thoughts ran from eek to how is the kitchen maintained. Oh God, this is awful. The maintenance of the bathrooms say a lot about the establishment. I am not sure if I would return because of this.

I haven't really eaten food from here that often. I'll usually stop by here with a group of coworkers after worker for a special occassion to have a few drinks before heading elsewhere. The ambience is nice. The bar has a huge variety of beers on tap and they have a good selection of hard liquor as well.

This place ROCKS! a Large selection of BREW Beer - So everyone can pick their own Flavor. Casual place for dinner / drinks, specially for SPORTS fan (TV everywhere). Nothing to Brag about the Appetizers because they were all pretty good. (got Avocado and chips, Onion soup). Food is Pretty good portions and my favorite dish is the Vodka Shrimp Pasta - Chopped shrimp & angel hair in light vodka tomato cream sauce, dusted with parmesan They offer a great selection of Burgers - Tacos - Salads This place has EVERYTHING!.

This is the second time my husband and I have come to Yard House. With our first experience and now our second it must warrant a review. 1. We are craft beer snobs and the selection does not disappoint. Showing love to our local craft beer small businesses it's nice to see so many on the menu that are local BUT if you would like to venture out of state they have plenty to satisfy your curiosity. 2. Being that my husband and I are small business owners ourselves, customer service is priority. I wish I could remember our servers name the first time because she was amazing! Very attentive, and knew her menu like any server should considering how big the selection is. She added her recommendations for beer and what would go well with entrees as well as her personal favorites. During the meal she was available but not hovering. Our second time, the server a little less than before in regards to personal attention but just as informative and available. 3. My favorite part the food: vodka tomato pasta...YES PLEASE! I would be afraid of the dinner portion because the small portion is just right. Just enough shrimp, the sauce so delicate and left a great flavor to be desired. The noodles are perfect, not over cooked just right. :) My husband had the jambalaya, he liked it and that's as descriptive as he gets. (Man of few words) Which in any case delicious. Thank you for giving us another wonderful experience.

I have to agree with several of the other reviews...great beer and OK, but not great food. Unfortunately, I am not enough of a beer drinker to bump my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. We ate on the patio and it was late at night, and while the service was friendly, it was SLOW. We really didn't get what we wanted or needed until we asked for it. I am not really used to having to flag down my server to get a drink, order food, and pay my bill.

They have a lot of beer which is nice, and the staff was efficient. Sat at the bar and the first guy to talk to us seemed to have a lot going on (managers kept coming over to talk to him then other servers...some drama, who knows) his fellow bartenders picked up the slack. For a corporate restaurant chain they have an impressive menu, although their inability to execute is what i see to be their downfall. Our dinner took awhile to get to us, and no one said anything about it but even that didn't bother me too much. They lose points for overcooking my burger. i asked for medium and got something that was well done. Additionally they and forgot the bernaise sauce that was supposed to come with it, making it simultaneously one of the most expensive and driest burgers i have ever had. It doesn't matter if the burger is topped with lobster and asparagus and all manner of fancy accoutrements, if you can't cook the burger right, you might as well not offer them at all. The whole experience was just so-so. For the prices, I expect better attention to detail.

I usually get the same thing every time...the grilled artichokes (because they are so smokey and delicious) and the grilled cheese with tomato bisque. Always paired with a beer of course. Who could complain?! I love this location because their staff is always so friendly, and if you ever have any sort of question or complaint (which is rare, if ever), the manager or one of the lead kitchen staff, will come out and speak with you. That says a lot when you are dining at a restaurant that is frequently busy. Love this Yard House! Thumbs up!!

Great place to meet friends, very convenient to the Colorado Mills Mall. Prices are a little high, but its expected to be a higher-end spot. I had the vegetarian mac and cheese, and it was so good!

Just here for beers and app's today. They DO have Happy Hour until 6:00pm on weekdays. Drafts are $2 off which makes them reasonably priced. And considering they have somewhere around 150 beers on tap, that can be a lot of fun! Their food is really good. I had my fave, spicy tuna roll. I don't share it, it's my meal! Yum!

YES this is a CHAIN in my books of restaurants. I have been "eyeing" to go here for quite sometime. This establishment is jam packed when J and I went here for lunch. Time : 12:45hrs. Sunday December 30th 2012. Our server's name is Ariana. The Menu is kind of standard, nothing really blows me away though I was craving for chicken wings. Thankfully when I ask our server, what kind of firecracker sauce they offer, Ariana brought out the Firecracker sauce in a tiny disposable cup for me to taste the sauce. I like the sauce hence for Lunch, I opt for "OVERPRICED" Firecracker Wings ($10.85) and "OVERPRICED" Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs Taco ($4.95). J opt for Grilled Cheese & Bisque ($10.95). At 13:01hrs all our food order came to our table. From J's feedback she like her order while my order of Grilled Korean Beef Short Ribs Taco was a MAJOR disappointment. Its just come with 1 piece of SMALL Tortilla, loaded with "unwanted" shredded vegetables aka Cabbage and TINY Pieces of Chopped Beef with "sweet coated sauce" sprinkled with sesame seed. No Korean flavor at all. *Sad Face* *Sigh* The Wings was just A-Okay though I cant deny, I like the sauce more. I am intrigued by the Firecracker Sauce. The sauce is so addictive. The Chicken Wings were tiny. I decide to bring home some of the wings and the sauce as leftover. But for the COST aka pricing of both items I had from this Yard House, Lakewood Location, makes me think twice to return. Unless I can convince Hubs to go here.. since there are plenty of food for him to choose. 2.5 stars at best for this Yard House. Left this establishment at 13:45hrs, HUNGRY. *Sad Face* *Double Sigh* @27/2013

AWESOME place. They have the best selection of beers and everything I have eaten has been good. Their French fries are wonderful and I am not a huge French fry fan. Everything I have had there has been great. Can't beat a good cold beer and good food. They are a bit pricey and it is a bit noisy but well worth it.

Super fun atmosphere. Great beer list and options. Happy hour is a great deal for food and beverages. Outside of happy hour, prices are a bit high for the quality of the food.

Very good food - friendly and prompt service. It's got an industrial feel with an open interior - lots of pipes and air ducts. Lunch mid-week wasn't too busy - we were seated promptly. The location is nice but can be hard to find (tucked behind the Super Target).

Two of us arrived and waited almost 45 minutes with our little buzzer. Everyone was getting seated except us. They have a bad policy of NOT seating two people in a booth or table that seats more. We had to wait for one of the itty bitty booths. This angered me to see about 10 parties were seated that came in after us because they had more than two people. They only have 3 tables that seat just two. NOT going back even though the food is pretty good except for portions compared to price. Don't let them know you have a coupon before you get served.

We chomped here this weekend. It was definitely busy, but we all finally got seated at the bar. It was a great place to watch football games on Saturday and the bar tenders were really helpful about changing the channels to the games we wanted to see. The food was pretty good, as were the beers. They've got a huge selection of all kinds of different beers and with so many on tap, you really can't go wrong. I definitely recommend it and will be back in the future.

I love this place so much we have made it a place we visit once a week! The food, atmosphere and service are impeccable, but I have always believed it's the service that makes a place suburb! Yard house in Lakewood at the Colorado Mills, has three that go above and beyond every time!!! Vincent, Sebastian and Nicole always make our night out memorable. Thank you guys for all you do and to the cooks for all the delicious brussels sprouts!!!

Beer and beer and beer and more beer! Big menu, classic bar food to Asian street tacos (which are really good) and an extensive drink menu as well. Consistently good service, food always comes fast ams plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on. Highly recommend.

Ate here a few weeks ago with friends after a morning of shooting. We arrived at around 1:00 pm and were seated right away. Violet was our server. I ordered 2 Street Tacos; 1-Fish and 1-Vampire and coffee. One buddy ordered a Cuban Sandwich which came with a salad and dipping sauce. My other friend ordered a Lamb Burger, which came with fries. The order was served in a timely manner by Violet who always had a smile on her face while interacting with us. In fact, all the people at the Yard House we encountered are very friendly - welcoming. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Everything seemed fresh and Violet kept our drinks refilled throughout our visit. I would recommend any of the items that we enjoyed. A very enjoyable experience at the Yard House. If you are lucky, you may get Violet as your server. The meals looked so good, I took pictures, but it appears I can't post them with this review.

I arrived here on a Saturday night recently and after that experience, will not be returning. I have been to this location many, many times before and the problem has always been the service. This last time, however, was the last straw. Our waitress was very slow and inattentive. She didn't even ask if we wanted our water refilled or check up on us. We only saw her twice within the hour and a half timeframe that we were there -once to take our order and the second to give us the check. It even took her a long time to give us our check. We had to flag someone else down to get her attention. When we complained and brought up the issue with our food (meat was hard and seemed like it had been placed out for longer than necessary, etc.) and her lack of service, she had a very rude, ugly attitude. We will not be returning. There are plenty of other restaurants that give you better service without overpriced food.

We were in search of a restaurant that had a mix of food since none of us could decide on a specific type. We managed to stumble upon Yard House and Im so glad we did. At first look the menu is rather intimidating. They have so many options and everything sounds amazing. We started off with the lobster, crab and artichoke dip. It was great! If it was socially acceptable Im sure one of us would have licked the bowl. I ordered the pepper crusted gorgonzola burger with no bun, my mother ordered the lettuce wraps and my brother ordered the ribs. My burger was great! Cooked perfectly with a good mix of complimenting flavors. I tried one of moms lettuce wraps and they were great as well! Sadly my brothers ribs did not compare. But then again being from Texas we are BBQ snobs and very particular about our BBQ. The service is great. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. She did over stay her welcome a bit too long talking but I think she was crushing on my little brother a bit so she wanted to stick around to talk to him about college, etc. I wont fault her in that. She's young. The prices are just above average. I think they charge a dollar or two more than they really should but I wont complain because the food was great. The noise level is loud in there but not bad enough for us to have to yell at each other. This is a great place to go and watch a game. With all of the TV's circling the bar area, there isn't really a bad seat. Its also a great place for families or friends just having dinner. Do note that they don't take reservations. We came on a busy night (the night before Mines graduation) so we expected a long wait. The hostess told us 20 minutes but it was more like 5 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised. If Im ever back in Golden/Lakewood for anything I'll be sure to stop by this restaurant again.

This place is by far the best Yardhouse in Colorado! 1. There servers and hosts are so incredibly nice! They acknowledge you as a customer and they are please to have you there. 2. The food is always HOTT when it comes out, I went to Park Meadows; Yardhouse and left with cold Ribs:[ 3. There happy hr menu stays the same! 4. The managers usually in white button ups are always walking around and asking you how your service is! Amazing place I wouldn't go anywhere else!:] It's an amazing place! Try there turkey pot pie but be ready to share your in for a big plate!

Stopped here on our way to Breckenridge. We have been here before and are impressed with the extensive draft beer selection. Literally, something for everyone. The bartenders are extremely helpful and will give a taste. You have a choice of 3 sizes which is a nice choice to have. Beer aside, the food is also very good. We shared a HUGE chicken nacho appetizer which is big enough for a meal. I had the turkey melt which was delicious. Trying to eat somewhat healthy, I substituted steamed veggies for the fries. My husband had the tomato soup which is very creamy and yummy. He enjoyed the small portion of Jambalaya but said would be too spicy for me. We will be back!

I had been doing some work all morning and was very hungry by noon. Didn't make it to eat until well around 3pm. I was in the mood for a well prepared burger or a steak when we stumbled upon The Yard House. Made it in within 20 mins even though it was very crowded. Ordered a couple of beer and everything was fine until we received the food. I ordered the rib eye, I didn't care it was $25, I was hungry, and I wanted to have a nice meal. My wife ordered one of the burgers. Well, it took a while to arrive, then someone else dropped it off really fast without asking if we needed anything. By then we already needed another beer. Well, we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come back and then we could ask for them, as well as for another round, ketchup for the fries and even salt. Who doesn't keep salt on their tables? Well, at least our food had arrived. The ribeye was as hard and tasted just like the 9 oz steak you get at Applebees for much less than $25. After our meal and dessert, the tab ended being around $85. In conclusion, don't bother, this place is just another overrated suburban chain.

I enjoy this yard house. I've been here a few times. It's a nice location for a corporate dinner or drinks with the girls. The place is dimly lit with ample seating. It's good for small or large parties. I personally enjoy a lot of the cocktails they serve here. It makes a nice change of pace from the typical golden bar scene in downtown.

Lots of options. Sometimes too many options. I'm excited to have discovered that they have boont amber and mojo ipa on nitro. Some of my favorite beers that aren't very common. The happy hour prices for the apps are reasonable. Two happy hours per day is nice too, especially since you can work in a movie around those times. Nothing is ever outstanding. I wouldn't order the crab cakes or the poke stack, the price is right, but I have to keep reminding myself I'm landlocked now. I'll stick to the "can't go wrong" items on the menu, like sliders, nachos, onion rings.. Also, don't be fooled by the yard of beer- do the math and you'll find out the pint is a better deal. But go ahead, get the yard of beer so you're table looks "cool".

This restaurant was the highlight of an otherwise stressful meeting in Denver. The beer menu is exceptional as was the service. Everyone at my table of 5 was very pleased with their meal. I ordered the New York steak salad rare. When The waiter served my salad he recognized that the steak was cooked to medium before I did and before I could say anything he apologized and said he'd bring out another steak cooked correctly. He did. (Actually both were great) I was very impressed by the quality of food, beer and service. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because this place is loud! The tile floors and glass tables and happy beer infused patrons: equal a boisterous atmosphere. I'll be back next time in Denver.

The Yard House has a very popular happy hour from 10PM to close. They have a very extensive list of what I would call 'girl drinks' - that is fruity vodka and martini concoctions that make you lose your inhibitions. But, you would be hard pressed not to find something to drink as they have a very large list of drinks. My opinion of the food is that it's trying for more, but falls short. We had the chicken strips, the blue crab cakes and the calamari. I enjoyed the calamari, but I've had better appetizers at many places. My biggest gripe is that the food all lacked seasoning, and that seems silly at a place that puts out so many plates. The Yard house has loud music, lots of tables and is reminiscent of a bar you would find in Las Vegas. Managed well by Darden, but try to forget that if you're looking for non-corporatey hangout or a dive. Overall worth experiencing.

So this place has pretty decent food, a great selection of beers and always seems to be packed. The bad news is that it's pricey. I think I've been there about five times and I must be their exact target market because I always seem to forget how pricey they are. They must just have a ton of demand due to being at a busy location at the mall with not much other options for patrons to choose from. Okay, I think I've bashed enough on the price. Being a given that it is about 40% more expensive than you would expect, the food is probably a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10. Not something you'll have to go back for but satisfying.

I got here a lot and it is only for the beer and the fact it is across the street from my house. If it wasn't so close I would never come here. The number 1 reason for that is the service. I have only had one good server ever and now I request here on a regular basis. However, each time I go and she isn't there. I keep crappy service. Drinks are never refilled, your server might come by 2 or 3 times during an hour. You have to wait forever to get anything. Far as the food goes, it is really good depending on what you get. Do not get ribs or steak at this location. I'm pretty sure they have not been trained how to cook more than chicken, hamburgers, and fries. But man oh man those chickens, burgers, and fries are amazing! However, like I said I go here for a few beers to quickly get out of the house and go across the street for an easy drink. If it wasn't for their repetitive terrible service, I would have given this a 4 or 5 stars.

Showed up for happy hour & yet again the Firecracker wings were excellent. The california roll was good, didn't really care for the chicken & garlic noodles though (it just didn't have much flavor - it was better when we asked for some sriracha and poured that all over them). Great place to eat & their Happy Hour appetizers are a fantastic deal.

Stopped in on a Monday night football which was the Broncos game. The place was a little busy but not crazy like I have seen it before which should have been a cue. We ordered a couple things off the happy hour menu and a beer so we could do a little Christmas shopping. I ordered boneless wings and kung pao calamari. My fiance ordered the California roll. I was busy watching the game and not paying close attention that my wings and calamari came out in 2 minutes. Then another minute the California roll. We ate them and then proceeded to go shopping. Within 10 minutes of walking the mall I needed water and did not feel good. It then dawned on me that we were served old pre-made food. The calamari was like leather and the wings were re-heated and tossed in sauce. There is nothing that pisses me off more. You have a huge place that is always busy and either the cooks are to lazy to make fresh food or don't care about people who come in for happy hour and serve re-heated food to anticipate a rush of people. Either way it is ridiculous for a place that pulls so much business and is so busy to be run like this. We used to come here allot and we would see managers walking the floor and asking people about service and food. This place was awesome, either that or there is some disgruntled employee in the kitchen messing with the food or it was mishandled because when we got home my fiance was sick enough she almost threw up from the Cali roll.

I go here with my family and for a beer after work. The service is always excellent. The item on the menu that is hard to find and should not be missed is the Brussels sprouts and taters. Goes well with the ridiculously large selection of beers. Last time I was there the bartender had to refuse service to a drunk girl. She was loud and obnoxious, he was calm and collected. She threatened him by calling the corporate office. She was drunk and he was protecting his environment. Good service and awareness in this place. Also go in for happy hour, the prices are half off on a bunch of good food items ( really inexpensive early meal). Will be back soon.

At Happy Hour, there's no better place in the world to be if you're around Colorado Mills. 3 appetizers (4 sliders, a tower of onion rings, and an order of nachos) with a couple of beers is way too much for just two people - well maybe not the beer part. And all of that - only 23 smack-a-roonies. For a chain, I've always been really impressed by the quality of food at the two locations here in Denver. They have a reasonable priced lunch menu, but pretty much everything from sliders to all the apps are 1/2 off at happy hour. Outside of happy hour, they could be considered pricy, but you get so much for what you pay for. They also have great drink specials, not just on beer, but on all the libations they offer. I've always had really great service; at times a little slow, but great overall.

Yard House is a pretty nice chain, with a very large menu. We came in for lunch to this location. Service was prompt. I got steak tacos and they were good, though a little spicy. Husband got coconut shrimp and he said it was his favorite shrimp dish, ever. So that's worth a try. They have a lot of vegetarian options. A few gluten free options, including ales I believe. They're known for their huge beer list. Not being a beer drinker, this doesn't really appeal to me. But overall the food was good.

Cool ambience but the food is nothing to get excited about. Large menu with lots of options but nothing really amazing. Pretty sure my husband got food poisoning from his pastrami sandwich. Probably wouldn't come back here for the food. Big bar though with lots of beer options.

I love a place you can walk in and you already know the song that's playing... and the next one...and the next one. The Yard House takes pride in developing their streamed playlist, in fact if you get online, you can add your favorite song to their playlist. I love their Happy Hour. They have the best prices on martini's ($6.50 for house) and appetizers anywhere during happy hour. The happy hour menu is really incredible, Hawaiian Poke Stack, Blue Crab Cakes, 6 different Sliders, Pizza...you get the picture...all at half-price. Plus the usual O-Rings, Nachos, Wings...all delivered and cooked with that little Yard House flair. Plus $2 off wines by the glass and specialty drinks. Be careful, they have a vast selection of beers on tap...but they can go from $2.25 to $5.75. Insider's tip: Happy Hour is from 3-6pm and 10pm-close. The big hint? On Monday Night's, during football, it's from 3pm until they close.... I know it's a chain, but once you devour their series of Street Tacos and take a few pulls off their "Chalkboard Series" of craft beers (5 draft and 5 large bottle beers rotated every month), you'll think they opened this place just for you. Now, name that song..

A great place to go to. They half a yard drinks. I thought I would get me a half yard of some Milkstout beer, and that was a mistake, it definitely should only be drank in a regular glass. The decor of the place is wide open. There are no walls, and everyone can see everyone for the most part. There are multiple TV's for your sports viewing pleasure!!! The staff is very good, they are courteous, and helpful. The drink list is HUGE! There are so many beers on tap, it's just unbelievable. If you want beer, or just want to try a bunch at once, this is the place to go. The food here is great too! It's primarily American style cuisine. I had a burger, and it was delectable. Now, the best part were the truffle fries. A good amount of truffle oil was added, and I was in heaven. The price though is a bit stiff for what you actually receive. I didn't think that a burger should cost $11.00, but for some reason it does. The food was great, but it wasn't $11.00 great. I might recommend this place for fries and beer, and might consider going back in the future for just that.

I took my girlfriend out here as a first date and the food and service was incredible! I love this restaurant for the modern twist on normally simplistic food. For example, their [Mac+cheese] squared is several different cheeses with bacon, chicken, mushrooms, and black truffle oil. It is the best meal I have ever eaten. But at the same time, it probably made it even better with her there with me.

The Yard House has a great atmosphere (somewhat loud and lively) with classic rock music playing and a great selection of beers. The food is really quite good although they're pretty proud of it. We'd come more often but for the prices. We come every now and again and always enjoy it. They have a happy hour menu with 1/2 priced appetizers which have generous portions.

The new brussel sprouts & potatoes appetizer is my favorite! Great spot to grub on appetizers and beers with friends late night or before a movie. • Trevor W.

I have to admit that I like the food here...though a bit on the pricy side. I say this with regards to the fact that I know that I spend quite a bit per person here, but they do make some good eats so it is worth it for a visit from time to time. For me though, happy hour may be a better time to visit. I do like the fact, though, that there are so many selections for some good brews. For the most part, the staff has been quite amiable, so that's a plus. It would also be nice if they had some buffalo choices, at least buffalo burgers. As well as maybe some wild fish options. With the prices they have, I would expect these higher quality items there, but they don't. They'd get a 5-star rating for their food if that was the case. The biggest draw-back would have to be the corporate side of this place. I know some folks that have worked here and that is somewhat of a turnoff from what I heard how they treat their employees.

The Yardhouse at the Mills is one of the best places to go for an upbeat, high energy dinner experience. If their beer selection doesn't do it for you, take a chance with one of their delicious mixed drinks. If you really can't decide, their outgoing waitstaff will be glad to help you. They don't take reservations, so you might need to wait during happy hour or a big game, but it's usually worth the wait. I recommend the sliders or the poke stack.

I've been to other Yard House locations, and they're all fairly the same. Good selection of beer, upscale bar atmosphere, and a decent selection of food that's not bad, but not spectacular. We ate here for lunch, and it was just OK. FOOD/DRINK: - Passion Fruit Tea: tasty, but strong and slightly bitter. - Chicken & Avocado Sandwich: good, but way too much mayo and the bun was served soggy... I had to eat the sandwich with a knife and fork. - French Onion Soup: the cheese was yummy, the soup itself was just ok. The bread in the soup tasted bad (maybe not fresh, but I couldn't put my finger on it), so overall I would not recommend it. SERVICE: Not great. Our food took maybe 45 minutes to get to us. A couple times our waiter would start walking over to our table, see that we don't have our food, and then turn around. We kept trying to get his attention to ask where our food was, but he seemed to ignore us. At the end of the meal, we flagged down our server for the check, and I told him about the bad bread in my soup. He asked me to explain how it tasted, and I tried to, but then I just concluded by suggesting he tell the kitchen that the bread didn't taste fresh. He looked a somewhat puzzled and said, "OK." AMBIANCE: Spacious upscale bar with TVs, booths, and tables. There's some outdoor seating as well. LOCATION: Located in the Colorado Mills Mall, it's between Target and the movie theater. I was lucky and happened to find it immediately, but my friends drove in circles around the mall for a while. If you set your GPS to 14500 W Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80401, you will get to the shopping mall, but you won't be directed to the restaurant. Google doesn't know where a unit number in the mall is, so that's not helpful. If you can find Target, drive to it, and if you're looking at Target, Yard House is just to the left. PARKING: Free and plentiful in the mall parking lot.

Had a killer good pizza and turkey sliders that were also surprisingly good. I was surprised because I've never had turkey sliders before. In the building on a Sunday aft with a Broncos game on and plenty of business but good service - lots of attention and reasonable prices. Did notice the manager (I checked) was cruising around the place a bunch so previous Yelpers complaints about service must have been noted.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for the late night happy hour last night. The service was great, the bartender Tom was very sweet and although having a full bar he never seemed overwhelmed and had a smile on his face the whole time. They have half priced apps and great deals on drinks. I would definitley reccomend the Yard House for anyone looking for great food, drink and service!

Bottom line: Our server charged us $111.00 by accident and the manager was rude. We got a drink each--a bill that was under $10; the server ran our card for $111.00. I was a server for 5+ years, and I understand running a ticket for the wrong table--we've all done it, but our server ran our less-than-$10 ticket for $111.00 and didn't do anything to make it right. I used to give the reversal-of-charges ticket back to my table for their records, and maybe comp them something. Our waiter apologized, but then disappeared. My husband went to ask the manger for the receipt for the reversal of charges. When I came to see what was taking so long, the manager was raising his voice with my husband, saying it was a mistake but there was nothing he could do. My husband is the most even-keel person and did not deserve this treatment. I asked for the reversal in writing/print. He said that it would still take 72 hours for the money to go back in our account--there was nothing he could do. I said I understood, but asked him for the reversal in writing for our records. He told me what a hassle it would be for him to look up the check (?). He ended up writing it out on the back of our check and signing it. He made us feel incredibly uncomfortable over their mistake. We used to be frequent Yard-House goers, but they lost two customers today.

Yard House is always a stop for us when visiting a city that's fortunate enough to have one. We love the beer selection, and often go for whatever is local to the state, but hefe is my favorite choice. This location has a nice shady patio that's not too noisy even though it's along the parking lot. We did have to have ask for water refills a couple of times but otherwise the service was good. Best bite is the firecracker wings (great flavor with some kick). This round we also tried the crab cake but it had too much rice compared to other ingredients and we found it was better with extra sriracha.

I love this place. I love the beer, the beer is good, and I'm partial to the beer. Also, the beer. OK, but seriously. I usually only hit this place at Happy Hour, because the deals on food are fantastic. The Hawaiian Poke Stack is just ridiculous, and the fish is always fresh and tender - same goes for the seared Ahi. Love the calamari, and even the onion ring tower is fantastic (the sauces are great). Also of note, the egg rolls. I have to quickly eat them, or I find that my boyfriend has done it for me. But, most of all, I enjoy being able to get a big, tall glass of my favorite Stone beers, and enjoy the atmosphere. Not too bright, never too loud, and always a good time.

Loud, beer, coke products...good food. Had a family party of five and service was outstanding! Food was served as ordered, warm and tasty. Only real complaint is the noise level but it is a SPORTS BAR so must be expected.

Service was terrible. The waitress was the worst I ever experienced at the YH. Let's hope she just had a rough night, because that was totally in characteristic of this place- that is known for its great beer selection and food!

Very casual atmosphere with incredibly caring servers and hosts. Really enjoyed my dinner but it was a little too busy, table organizing is very important. I was very pleased at the welcoming of children as well as with the variety in meal options.

I went for the beer (GREAT selection on tap), but the food was surprisingly good. I had an ahi tuna salad that was delicious, and the "small" was actually a huge portion. Service at the bar was good - we were only in town for a few days for business, or I would have gone back!

It's a chain restaurant in a mall so keep that in mind, but it's a sizable place with an extensive beer list, good food and even a vegetarian menu. Lots of TVs to watch the game and big comfy booths. They do a good job at what they do.

The wife and I had a late lunch here last Saturday (we have been many times before) and thought it was worth comments on Yelp on this occasion as service was excellent and food was awesome. For a start the swordfish street tacos are fantastic, the salmon was the best I have eaten in a long time and the wife was impressed with the "Gardein" cheeseburger option as she is a vego. Food came out fast, servings were large and our waitress was attentive with drinks etc. Bravo Yard House! The only negative thing about Yard House at the Mills is that it is very popular, so get in when you can or be disappointed.

Came back here again to sample delicious craft brews after experiencing the debacle of Wrigley's Chicago Bar & Grill. Sat at the bar - ordered the Deschutes Inversion IPA and the Lobster, Crab, and Artichoke Dip with chips and grilled bread. The Deschutes Inversion IPA deschutesbrewery.com/bre… The Deschutes Inversion IPA was delicious, strong, nice complexity and hoppiness. 5.2& Alcohol by volume. The Lobster, Crab, and Artichoke dip was very savory and tasty! Final beer of the evening I sampled was a pint of the Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA. Also very hoppy. I very much enjoyed it! Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA bearrepublic.com/ourbeer… Service was good! Will come back here again and again!

We stopped by here for lunch for the first time yesterday. My husband and I had the truffle fries appetizer, which was rather good. I had a Cesar salad. I'm very glad I asked for extra dressing, because there was hardly any on the salad with the way they prepared it. I tried the pepperoni and mushroom pizza. It was a big portion, and I think I would have rather paid less and had a small portion because it was just too much. There was something missing with the pizza, like a spice or something else. I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyway, my husband really liked his fish and chips. The presentation was well done. He also tried the beer sampler, which was interesting. I had a sip of the raspberry cider and thought it was good. I do agree with others that this place is quite overpriced. For the two of us for lunch, the total was $54. We'll probably return for lunch or happy hour.

I've been staying in Lakewood for the last couple of weeks. I am seriously thinking of moving here. I am really digging the Colorado culture and the people. I swear, there are some the healthiest folks I have met in a long time! Needless to say, I went to the Yardhouse with a good friend and was blown away! VERY COOL! They store their beer in a chilled room that is above the restuarant throw a huge pain of class. You can see hundreds of kegs in the room and then there hundreds of pipes running across the room and down into the central bar. They offer hundreds of brews and have 1/2 yards and full yards. I thought I was in heaven. Seriously! Very cool atmosphere, the food was fantastic and the service was great! Teh only reason I didn't give them a 5 star rating was because it was slammed. People waiting everywhere and the hostess staff didn't seem to organized. That aside, this place could possibly be one of the best eating experiences that I have had here in the Denver area.

Took clients from the east coast there for lunch yesterday. Saw a bernaise burger asked the server what she thought about it? She said bernaise is one of the mother sauces and some people don't like it. I took that as some people don't like bernaise but I do and ordered it. But what I got was some odd mayo. No tarragon in it? Ashame they don't knew what bernaise is or they buy something instead of making it. The service was satisfactory, the atmosphere is an Industrial trendy? Tap lines that travel 40-50ft to the taps. If your looking for a trendy chain it's for you.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday afternoon. The service was not why I give a high rating. It was average at best. The beer and the food were very good though. The truffle fries are fantastic! We both loved the gorgonzola burger. I'm not a big beer fan, but the Sam Adams cherry wheat was delicious and I look forward to exploring the selection again. The menu is daunting with pages of choices. The atmosphere is acceptable and a view of the storms coming over the foothills was nice. All in all, we'll be back.

I really like the Yard House. Guinness on tap and about 50 others as well. The California roll was not what I was expecting. It was much better! Very tasty. The Thai chicken pizza was outstanding. Plus it was happy hour, less expensive. I will go back!

Way to go Yardhouse! 'Had a really yummy meal here. I got the 5 oz turkey burger with a side salad, and my mom ordered the special mac n cheese. The turkey patty on my burger was homemade, complete with spices, herbs, and a few veggies mixed in. The salad and dressing were really good and refreshing, too. I tried my mom's meal and it was definitely cheesy, complete with bacon and chicken mixed in...but my plate was better! We also both ordered dessert. I got a mini chocolate souffle, and my mom got a butterscotch custard. Both were quite tasty. Service was fast, atmosphere is interesting in a good way.

Had lunch here with my parents and 7 mo old yesterday. Overall, a great experience. They sat us in a huge booth and had an extra tall high chair for the little one. The staff was all super nice and food all came timely. One hiccup was the flatbread that came to the table was not the one I ordred. It was quickly rectified and they had us keep the incorrect one and offered to bring me soup while I waited for the right one to be made. Only downside was I found the correct flatbread (pear and gorgonzola) to be a little bland tasting. We'll go back for sure, however.

went here w a large convention group. all were pleased with the wide array of beers. large open space inside and nice outdoor area. apps were good as we had several. burgers good and cooked as ordered. fries crispy. steaks good and cooked to order and all meals had good or large portions. would go again for sure. popular local spot so often very busy at peak lunch and dinner hours.

Thank you for having so many vegetarian choices! And they are mighty tasty. I had the BBQ gardein salad. A small lunch size was so big - I could only eat half. And I'm a big eater. Maybe it's because I was saving room for beer. They have so many great beers on tap and have a huge selection of seasonal beers to sample. The place was packed when we got there but we were sat immediately and were served promptly. I will definitely be coming back here whenever we are in town.

  • Ryan Z.

Not a bad option, but I wouldn't go out of my way for this place either. The beer selection was very good but slightly overpriced IMO. Most of their microbrews were local to Colorado, so why do they need to charge $7 bucks for a pint? Food was pretty good although my artichoke was overcooked and dried out. The pork belly tacos were fantastic and the service was above average. The place was packed, so it seems like everyone else really likes this place. The menu is enormous... think Cheesecake factory type big... and it always scares me when a place offers too many food options. I prefer places that specialize in a small list of recipes rather than 100 average options. Just my preference.

The Yard House is one of "my places". This is the place I go whenever I'm home in Denver (they have one in Vegas too) but I always find myself there on my visits home. They have a great beer selection and of course a full bar. The last time I was there I found it entertaining to only drink beers brewed in Colorado (and it was easy to do because there were many choices and the menu tells you where the beers come from). The menu has great diversity. It now has a "snack" section. I ordered a couple things off of this: Chilled Edamame-pretty standard but I always order it Pear and Gorgonzola Flatbread- Outstanding in my opinion. In fact, I ordered two. Guacamole and Chips- Nothing spectacular but you can't go wrong with guacamole. I don't regularly order desert after a night of drinking beers but I could not pass up the Salted Caramel Butterscotch Pudding. It is topped with house made whipped cream and sea salt. It was so good I wanted to lick the glass clean and almost ordered two of those. I highly recommend it. The happy hour is worth a mention as well. 1/2 priced martinis and 1/2 off selected appetizers Fair warning, this place is loud. If you are looking for a place to hold an intimate conversation this is not it. On the other hand, if you are looking for a place to drink a lot of good beer and eat a lot of good food, you found it.

I worked up an appetite shopping at the mall yesterday and decided to come in here for a bite. I ordered a Pizza and the Spinach dip. A sign of a well run restaurant (especially if it' a chain) is the consistency of the food. Though it was minor, 2 things that stood out: 1) The chips/crackers that came with the dip was stale. From what I can tell, it tasted like potato chips that sat out in the open for a few hours (I hope this wasn't the case in this instance). 2) The ice tea had a weird after taste. 1/2 a glass of it, I had to switch to a Diet Coke (which was flat). Oh well, 2 small fails out of the 3000 times I been in a YH is going to happen. BTW: someone must have complained about the music because the last time I was here, it was loud and I could barely hear the people I was with.

My girlfriends and I come here a lot for drinks before a movie or other outing. The martinis are priiiicey, but delicious!! The other reason I LOVE the Yard House is they are so vegetarian-friendly!!!! They have an entire menu of food that is made with Gardein chicken! This place is pretty pricey and usually always busy, but totally worth it.

The first thing you notice here is the open floorplan and modernistic decor. The second, the ridiculously large variety of beer. I mean, any place that has their huge bar in the middle of the floor and has two sides of completely different taps, plus bottles, really means business. Of course it's just a tad overwhelming. Luckily, when we were in, the bartender knew a good bit about many of these brews. He was able to suggest some great stuff based on a couple of answers we gave. The menu is ginormous; we were basically handed a bible. So if you're one of those people that can't make up their mind...well, I'd suggest heading in with your three-choice option. They do have a vegetarian option, called Gardein, which our bartender told us tastes just like the meat it mimics. Ok, taking your word for it today. There's way too many other yummy looking things on here! We ended up getting a couple things, since pre-flight we didn't want to get too full: the Summer Saladn off the appetizer menu, and three tacos with three different meats. Everything was great!. Fresh tastes and flavor combos. Our bartender was able to pair our food with a couple of appropriate brews, which was really kewl! I can totally see why this place would have reviews ranging from great to awful, based on what it is. This time, we were there on a Tuesday afternoon and had a great experience. We've been to the same locale before, on a Thursday evening, and also had good service and food. We will go again, next time In Denver!

The food is usually great here. Tonight the shrimp pasta with vodka sauce was not good, very bland. My husband had the deviled eggs which he said were great. The Korean BBQ beef appetizer is big enough to be an entree and is delicious. The beer selection is amazing.

This is quite possibly the best place to eat in this area. Food is prepared well happy hour prices are outstanding. Mucho mucho selections of beer seasonal and additional flavors on tap you can't go wrong I suggest trying the mac and cheese dee licious you probably want to go during happy happy hour

I try to avoid most major chains as much as possible, but when venturing away from home to suburban land, which is where everyone of these is located, I can always count on the amazing beer selection to make me happy. If the service is slow, the food not perfect or any of the other large suburban chain problems, no big deal, order another beer, and it's all good. Food is good and there is so much selection on the menu it is hard to go wrong. The beer selection is soooo gooood, seriously tons of beers from all over the place! If you can't find a beer on the menu you like you don't like beer.

  • Cobus B.

I wish I could post a review of the food, since everything on the menu sounds soooo gooood!! Unfortunately, I never got that far. After a morning's worth of paragliding up in Boulder, I had worked up a good appetite. I remembered walking past this place one night and decided to grab an early lunch. Apparently the waitresses only start smiling and being friendly at 11:00am. Pity poor me who walked in at 10:58:25. One minute and a few seconds too early. Those 'ladies' were so rude and unfriendly I walked straight out again and went to Chili's instead. Good candidate for Restaurant Stakeout.

The short of it is: the good was great, the service left something to be desired. Service: numerous staff deliver the food and drink and occasionally one of those was our waiter. The first delivery was water by a lady who wasn't our waiter. My wife asked for bottled water and a glass with no ice and the waitress brought water in a glass without ice. When my wife told her what her order was, the waitress got testy and said "you should have ordered that to start with" to which my wife replied, "I did". No apology from the waitress. I ordered an ahi tuna salad. I ended up with an ahi tuna sandwich. I kept the sandwich as it looked great, and it was great. So, a mistake that worked in my favor. My wife ordered sweet potato fries. The waiter forgot them, but when he came to check on us, he scurried off and the fries were at the table in a flash. There needs to be an attitude check with certain wait staff, but food wise, it was very good.

I've been here once and I had a good food and service experience. Standard large steakhouse feel and a wide selection of local beers. Nothing special about this place but apparently it's one of the more popular steakhouses in the Lakewood area. I think I'd go back if I was in the mood for a good steak just because I'm not familiar with the area and it's so easy to find.

The short version: Food is good, service is lacking. I will come back again, maybe not at such a busy time. My grilled cheese and tomato soup were good, but how can that be messed up. My friend enjoyed the firecracker wings, but thought her short rib street taco was lacking in meat. Our waitress was friendly when she came around. The food took quite awhile to come out.

This place is hit or miss. And by that I mean the service. There have been times where something was unacceptable and we were basically ignored by our waiter/waitress. Once, my mother had a fork with a bent prong that ended up chipping her tooth, and the manager basically told us it was our problem. We didn't ask for anything but an apology and a promise for better quality control, but the manager was too proud to give us even that courtesy. The great thing about this company is that the corporate office really cares. Once we informed them of this situation, we were given a very large gift card. We did not ask for compensation, but the corporate office even followed up a week later with how my mom's teeth were feeling. Incredibly professional. This is our go-to restaurant. I can honestly say I've never ordered off the real menu because the happy hour specials are too great. Our family of four usually gets something similar to Firecracker Wings, California Roll, Garlic Chicken Noodles, Pizza, Buffalo Wings, Mu-Shu Eggrolls, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Turkey Sliders, and Chicken Nachos. We eat like kings and have plenty of leftovers (which we all fight over). The beer selection is incredible, and $4-5 for a craft beer draft is unbeatable. I cannot sing enough praise for the Yard House. A must-go-to for anyone that has access to one. Please open a Yard House in Austin!!!!!!!!!!

The beer selection helps with points. I'll say everyone else's meals were fine-Greek Salad, Summer Salad and Club Sandwich. I ordered the Peppered Gorgonzola Burger - medium with a Ranch Salad to be served with the burger. The burger came out rare and without the salad. This followed with the typical fare of the waiter not knowing what was going on and apologetic managers. I skipped the burger and ordered what was a mediocre chicken avocado sandwich. I was offered a salad but declined since everyone else was already half done eating. Heard the manager checking on the next table asking of "everything was better." The 16th Street Mall location which I frequent the most always has stellar service and food.

this 5 star rating goes out to Carolyn and her crew that put up with us for several hours while we ate, drank and people-watched out on the patio. like always, had the deviled eggs - i also had the pepper steak and a bowl of the clam chowder, both very tasty. loved the service, the food and the ComiCon folks that provided us hours of entertainment.

I've been wanting to check out Yard House for a while because of all the beers on tap, but we just haven't made it out there. Now that I've been there, my curiosity has been satisfied and I don't think I need to return. My friend and I went last night before the Zac Brown Band show at Red Rocks. It gets 3 stars based on the fact that they have a wonderful selection of beers. The prices are average for the beer - during happy hour they are $4.25-$4.75 for a pint (which is more than we pay regular price at many places we frequent). The 3 stars is also based on our meals. I had the surf and turf burger - a burger with swiss cheese, asparagus and Maine lobster. It was perfect. Absolutely perfect. The fries were good as well, and I'm generally not a fry person. Some people might argue they were too soft/soggy, but that's how I like my fries. My friend had the Avocado Swiss burger which she also said was delicious. However the service was abysmal at best. It was not BUSY. There was not a wait to be seated and there were empty tables scattered throughout the restaurant. It was 6pm on Labor Day, but it wasn't overly crowded. Our initial drink order was taken promptly as was our food order. However once our meals came, that was it. My beer sat empty for at least 5 minutes before our server stopped to even ask how our meal was (we were both 75% done at that point) and I asked for another beer. About 5 minutes later he returned to tell me that they were out of that particular beer. I should have cut my losses and asked for the check at that point (since we were done eating) but I ordered a different beer. It was almost 10 minutes before that beer came. I would go for the food and the beer, but just be aware that the service is mediocre at best.

Last time I was here the service was positively terrible. We had to move to another section because the waitress kept forgetting about us. The food is pretty vanilla here, but it's a chain and so that's kind of to be expected. Typical menu; I've had the club sandwich which was okay and the chicken caesar which was good. I also tried the California roll which was quite possibly the size of my head. I didn't care for it at all. This place is huge, though, with a great big bar right in the center. I imagine happy hour is pretty cool.

Yard House is a restaurant chain. I really enjoyed my experience here and would try the one in California when I move back. This one is open, spacious, clean and got a cool ceiling decor to it. I liked all the mini metal fans spinning on the ceiling. There's also a lot of flat screen TVs all around. Each booth has one hanging above them. I recommend the lunch specials. You can get half sandwiches/pizzas paired with soups/salads. For $8.99 I got a bowl of soup and a good size personal BBQ Chicken pizza. Good value because it tasted good and I was thoroughly full. I was only able to eat 2 pieces out of the 4 cuts. The Clam Chowder was real delicious. It had celery bits to it and comparable to the chowders that I've tasted in Boston. They also have a lot of unique burger choices served with these perfectly fried shoe string fries (gotta try these). This place must carry 50+ types of beer on tap. I remember seeing a ton of beer tap handles... the alcoholics will be happy.

Torn on how to rate this one... Food was honestly pretty good; I had the turkey burger, and it was excellent. The side salad before hand was smothered in dressing, which ruined it, but I also should have asked for the dressing on the side. The only reason I'm rating it at a three is that it's just too loud and chaotic for me. I was there on a saturday night, with both NBA and NHL playoffs on though, so I'm sure that contributes to it. Also, I wasn't crazy about the wait; we had a larger group of 15, but we called to make a reservation for 1800, and still didn't get seated for about 45 minutes or an hour past that. All in all, good food, and I'll try again!

  • Kathleen A.

Yanno, I'm going to give them 2 stars based on the sucky service alone. Came here last week for a work lunch and fully expected to be out within an hour, not an hour and a half. My server seemed to completely forget about our table, making us wait 15 minutes just to take our orders. The food is pretty standard bar fare, but overpriced. I chose a BBQ pizza/soup combo. Sadly couldn't even eat half the pizza, it was that terrible. However the beer selection is awesome. You really feel like you are hanging out at a chain in some mediocre suburb. I can't really say anything else about this place. Blah.

  • Kelly R.

If you like beer- this is your place on the West Side of town... The food? It's above par. I don't love huge restaurants though that cook by equation, not passion...but it is what it is. They do what they do- well. Happy Hour is pretty great, loud, but great. Good deals on beer and food. My only complaint, and it's actually good for them, is that it's sooo loud during Happy Hour. But..hey its crowded, which means they're doing something right!

  • Anita S.

This place has a tremendous happy hour. Not the cheapest but certainly the value and service component really are stellar as well as the quality of food. Marry that with how many beers on tap and holy guacamole---that's a bonus in any book! Happy hour sliders, come with 4 small sliders and a ton of fries. "What do I owe you?" "$6.95" I'm sold folks.

I've been to this restaurant multiple times and have had mixed results. The very first time, our waiter was attentive, funny and helpful in recommending great beers. Our food arrived quickly and I was overall impressed. The second time was not as successful. It took forever to order a drink and the waiter was rude in the process. The third, I had no complaints except that the outdoor seating is packed together real close, which makes it hard to tune out the conversations others are having. The fourth time was a nightmare. Even though the food was satisfactory, our waitress was simply one of the most unprofessional, inhospitable server I've encountered since moving to Colorado. We ordered drinks and she forgot to take a drink order from a friend of mine. When he asked for a drink, she responded with "What's the hurry?" and sighed as loudly as possible. For the remainder of the evening, we were greeted by every other waiter besides her. She didn't check on us or follow up after her disrespectful outburst. I like the food and the enjoy the fact that they offer a wide variety of Happy Hour items, but their staff leaves something to be desired.

Been here several times, easily the best beer selection around. Food is good and all the tab beer just can't be matched, the price you pay is largely to support their massive tap selection (over 200+?) and it is well worth the price.

The hostess here tonight is rude, unhelpful, and flat out unpleasant. Usually Yard House is nothing short of enjoyable, but not tonight! This place has been historically awesome, but the service all around has seemed pretty lacking and heading downhill for the last year or so. You can't really beat it for its selection though. The 100+ beers on tap is hard to find better, and the food is SUPER cheap for happy hour. Worth a stop, but make sure you've got plenty of time to hang around and a sober driver to take you home.

Yard House, Yard House. I have three words for you: I LOVE YOU. I took my best friend, our family and friends to this HUGE bar to celebrate his birthday. With over 160 beers on tap, everyone in our party found a beer of their choice and something to munch on :) I ordered the DogFish Head 90 minute and fell in love with the taste, flavor and body of this IPA and ended up getting more than one! I also ordered the "California Rolls" which I thought would consist of small sushi rolls but came out as one big roll!! to my surprise it was delicious and ended up eating every bite of it! A great place to take family, friends, relax with a beer and spend some time in a great atmosphere :) HOWEVER... definitely go during happy hour, because the food is half priced, but to my surprise the drinks weren't. big fat bummer. oh well. i'll still be back :)

Do not leave this place without ordering the Juniper Fusion. I am now addicted to Hendricks Gin bc of this cocktail, but it's worth it. LOVE LOVE. Service can be hit or miss, but the food and drinks are worth it.

If you're a veggie, the vegetarian buffalo wings are HEAVEN! Holy cow. Spicy with a good bite. If you eat fish, order the calamari it's a crunchy, fiery bit of goodness. Lastly, avoid the scallops. It's too much to pay for 4 tiny bites.

Great place to have dinner and try any and every kind of beer that you can imagine. There are many great vegetarian choices (that aren't just salads! (Hooray)!! If you go later in the evening, there is an awesome happy hour on appetizers.

We love Yard House and have since they came into the Colorado Mills Mall. We are regulars - mostly for lunch and happy hour. We just can't afford to eat the meals here. Don't get me wrong. The food is high quality but we just choose to save for retirement not eat $25 entrees. But my hubby just got a job after an almost 5 month unemployment stint and we decided to celebrate here. The food was awesome. I would HIGHLY recommend the porcini crusted halibut. Best dish I have had in a long, long time. My hubby enjoyed the chicken enchilada bake. We added salads which are generous - and we appreciate that. We wanted to try the butterscotch dessert but were too full. The only reason I don't give Yard House 5 stars is because of the prices. I just think they are high unless you are getting happy hour prices. But the food gets a 5 and the servers are always really good.

Great happy hour. Massive selection of beers. For a corporate chain they have great food. Deserts are very good and cheap!

I like to come here for happy hour. The specials are phenomenal and I find myself wiating to eat dinner until after 10 about once a month just so I can take advantage of the specials. They have drink specials that are your standard bar happy hour specials. Nothing great in the drink area but the food specials are tremendous. Half price apps. The apps are a meal in themselves, and a great variety is there to satisfy any taste. You can easily get out of there with a nice meal for well under $10. I love that. The atmosphere is a but trendy and the place is dark, which I really don;t get. They ahve plenty of TVs usually wth games on and the bar is clean and spacious. It really feels fancier than a sports bar but not so upscale that you feel underdressed in jeans and a T shirt. I like to meet friends here either for traditional happy hour (3-6pm) or after a night out for late night (10-close). The kitchen stays open until about midnight. All in all this is a great late night treat or late afternoon pick me up. It is a favorite for sure.

Excellent food and beer. The waitress was very attentive. Great atmosphere. The only issue is that it's hard to find if you are following a GPS unit, we had to call the restaurant for directions.

Open late for this neck of the woods, super friendly staff, nice reverse happy hour and of course, a banging collection of beers! The spot is also great for large groups as they have big tables, including booths that I think can fit 8 adults if you don't mind touching your neighbor. It is definitely a perfect spot for some late night friend gab over a beer. We also ate some food despite the fact that the sodium in their dishes has left me aghast in the past. I went with the turkey club, and it wasn't as well executed as I anticipated. It didn't have the precise execution of the perfect club; the bacon wasn't super crispy, and the overall impression was that of a basic sandwich, which in my opinion the club generally surpasses. I would recommend sticking to a hot dish and lots of beer!

Great food and even awesome vegetarian options. There aren't too many of those around so this place is a big hit with my vegetarian friends who can enjoy nearly everything on the menu either as is or altered.

    Yum Yum YUUUUUMMMMM! The food, any of it, is the best we've had ANYWHERE! Uh ma gaw! I LOVE the Yard House!!!! Highly recommend it & we go back as often as we can! Their prices are bit on the higher side but worth it! Its a sports bar, but I still wish they could lessen the extreme noise some how! Its TOO noisy, don't plan on having ANY conversations when there. The staff is okay, mostly friendly but not usually the best! But the food is to die for!!!!! One of our favorite restaurants on the planet! =}

The best happy hour! :) We made it to their Saturday happy hour from 3p-5p for some great brews and tasty aps! I usually get the Green Flash IPA - but decided to steer away from the usual good to another great. Stone sublimely Self righteous BLACK IPA. It's pretty awesome w/ a bit of a smokey backend. We ordered and shared; Spicy Chicken Thai pizza (my favorite) Spicy tuna Ahi poki salad Chicken nachos side of their shoestring fries (fries are great!) and an order of chicken tenders. It was A TON of food and at the end when we recieved our check we were pretty content and happy with the price. It's definitely a happy hour worth planning for!

For stars for even having that many vegetarian options. If only the macaroni had tasted better. Half off framboise during happy hour? You bet your sweet... well, you know.

I'm not ordinarily a fan of chains, but I am always a fan of Kid's eat free nights. My family of four was greeted by friendly girls sat right away, and served promptly. Our server was very nice. Our food was delicious, really really delicious. We shared a grilled artichoke appetizer that was bar none perfect, and My Fiance and I split the Whole rack of ribs which are huge. Kid's meal are ordinarily pricey, but include drinks, side, and dessert! All around perfect experience in a very unexpected place. Great way to start our week.

Your classic Colorado rip off. Most of their beers are available at the store down the street so why are they charging $6.50 and up? There is only 1 ipa on the entire menu that you can't get. ost places in Colorado. That's Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA , but I believe there taps haven't been cleaned in a long time or the keg had skunked. Either way it didn't taste anything like it's suppose to. So don't waste your time or money. The kitchen can't even make a $12 hamburger properly and when we sent it back we got the same burger ripped apart, thrown in the microwave, back on the plate and back to the table. We then receives nothing but attitude from the manager who never even came to our table who never even came to our table. But was close enough that we heard every crappy thing he said to the waitress. The only thing I can say that's good about them is our waitress was nice but, had nothing good to say about anybody else that work at the restaurant and we had to hear about every incompetent employee. If you feel like going out for the most expensive beer and burger you've ever had and completely incompetent service. The Yardhouse will definitely not disappoint. Since leaving this review the manager of the Yardhouse has contacted me to rectify the situation. I have no interest in recieving a gift certificate or an apology for my horrible experience. I'm positive that this has changed others reviews in the past but it will not happen with me. If you couldn't do it right the first time why would we go back. Also, after the way my girlfriend was treated by your manager and kitchen we have zero interest in setting foot inside of your horrible restaurant again. We have lived in Colorado for 2 years now and both find the customer service and the way people treat each other here disgusting. The majority should make a serious attempt to be nicer to eachother.

So The Yardhouse is always one of My Wife and My Favorite Places To Grab Some Food And A Cold Beer..... Today was not that @ all!!! We sat down at our booth @ 3:00 p.m.. The restaurant for the most part was dead. There were a few booths full, some tables and 2 people @ the bar. We get our booth and menu's. 2 minutes later a waiter brings out food to the table directly behind us. He Says Nothing To Us. Whatever. A minute or so later the same waiter brings out more food to the booth on the other side of us. Still says nothing. We wait 2-3 more minutes which is now been approx 8 Minutes since sitting down. Decided to sit @ the bar since there is only 2 other people sitting there. Maybe we can get some service. We sit down right next to the bartender knowing he just watched us pick up our menus from the table and bring them to the bar. He looks at us and walks away. We wait 2 more minutes and still no server, and now the bartender is gone. We decided our $ is better spent on people who want our $. And we all know there are too many options out there right now fighting for our business. So time to leave. We walk by the host stand and I tell the host and 1 other employee they can free up the booth our server never came. "HE SAYS NOTHING" No Sorry. NO Please can we fix this. NOTHING.. So I think the drive to the Yardhouse just became not worth it anymore. Adios..

I absolutely love the burgers here and if you are in a vegan mood, the options are great! I had a 100% Vegan try to send a dish back because they were convinced it was not tofu. That Great!

My husband and I shared one of their Gardein menu items, it was pretty good. The food wasn't OMG good... but this a good place for vegetarian and omnivorous friends to eat together and have tons of beer! I recommend it!

what a super place! Shockingly good for a restaurant attached to a mall... amazing menu from burgers to sushi and TONS of beer...including hard ciders! This place is well worth the trip - the burgers were amazing, and the ranch salad delectible. this is not just a beer place - the food is a star in its own right. It is a bit loud, but not so you have to shout. Another bonus...a wonderful wait staff - attentive, kept drinks filled and - CUTE too! ;)

As a vegan - finding a big bar type chain restaurant like this one that serves 'Gardein' a completely plant based protein is a major score! We went here for dinner last night and I was so happy with my meal. They had several vegan options and were very accomodating - making suggestions to substitute and make changes to different menu items that weren't even listed as vegan - to create a delicious vegan meal for me. The rest of my group - all meat eaters - were very satisfied with their meal as well. The food came out with a delicate presentation - it was truly artistic. The kitchen is visible from the restaurant and you can tell that they were working as a well oiled machine. Everyone had a smile on their faces as well - even though they were SLAMMED! The beer selection is INSANE!!!! So many beers on tap! They even had a raspberry cider. There was a long wait for a table - but the staff was obviously busy trying to keep the tables happy and to clear them as fast as they were vacated. We had such a good time that I am going to go back there tonight when my Mother arrives for spring break. They also have a round up for charity option on your ticket. I Love a good caring company that makes an effort to make a difference.

Food is ok, but some of it is REALLY overpriced. I looked at the happy hour specials, and the prices aren't all that great. We both ordered burgers, and surprisingly, their turkey burgers are really good. The fries were crunchy, but I wish they were the thick kind, not the shoestring kind. Service was fine. We'll probably be back, but not for a while.

I had a burger here and a beer. Its pretty hard to mess up beer and they had a lot of options so that is cool. The burger, meh. Nothing amazing, I had mega food remorse that I hadn't stopped at Larkburger earlier for a delicious burger at half the price. Burger here was just sort of bland and the patty was really thick and round and I prefer a thinner patty (who doesn't?). Nothing really wrong with this place, just sort of generic as far as the food goes.

You have how many taps in this joint? This was a chill place and packed on a snowy day in the foothills of the Rockies. My friends and i went in to grab some happy hour prior to seeing a flick at the nearby theater. The focal point of the restaurant is, of course, the bar crammed with over a hundred beers on tap. And they do offer everything from big domestics to small local micro brews. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the huge list and helped us find our selection. I engaged in an off beat Belgium ale similar to Delirium Tremers called Funky Monkey. While the atmosphere and service were great, i was disappointed on the food. It was your standard pub fare and my margherita pizza is best described as normal. P.S.- They have a late night happy hour that stared at 10!

I am pleasantly surprised with this place. I've had to come here several times before I would review it. I guess I wasn't sure if my previous visits have been a series of flukes or not. Turns out, this isn't a place that dishes out crappy chain food, it's actually pretty tasty stuff! Over time, I think this has become a place that I can return to trusting that I will have a good if not better experience. My most recent trip found me face to face with their marvelous lunch pairing special. My margherita pizza and salad were not only the perfect portion size, but they were both delicious. The pizza grabbed my praises in particular. Everyone in our group really enjoyed what they ordered. Service was ok. Everyone was very friendly, but not the best in checking in on us or following through with drink refills.

The Yard House is a premium casual eatery known for its extensive menu, classic rock music, and world's largest selection of draft beer. As I travel around the country, I am always cognizant of Yard House locations and try to frequent them as often as possible. I have been to this Yard House 30+ times and it is easily my favorite restaurant to visit when in Golden/Lakewood/Arvada. Probably the most important item for you to know is that they have an AWESOME happy hour. Be forewarned, their normal menu is a little pricey ($15-$25 for an entree), but their happy hour is a steal. Their appetizers are half price and pints of beer cost $4 or so. As numerous other have mentioned, they have 100+ beers on tap, so this is a great place to find new beers and have a great time. My favorite appetizers are the chicken nachos, calamari, onion ring tower, and jerk wings. The spicy thai chicken pizza is also a nice change. Overall their food is excellent and I have never had an item on their menu that I have not liked. This specific location has an outdoor patio with heaters, which is a nice place to socialize. Several of the other reviews have mentioned bad service, but I personally have never run into this. Having worked in the restaurant industry growing up, I realize that a lot of bad service experiences are due to the waiter having a bad day or some jerk customer cussing them out at the beginning of their shift. All that to say, being a server is not an easy job and often it is a breath of fresh air to have a model customer who is not constantly demanding and rude. Give YH a try, I guarantee you will like the experience that they have to offer.

The Yardhouse is a real drag. I live in Portland, so I am accustomed to Happy Hour being not only a staple of daily livin' but a God-given right! A "cheap" Happy Hour should really have at least a couple of beer options for $2 or less. Denver's been a little behind the times on the Happy Hour tip, but we were willing to give it a shot. Yes, they have tons of beer on tap. We get it. But what I couldn't understand is why on earth was I paying $3.75/pint for a Coors Light! I tried to explain to my companions that $3.75 is not a deal at all, and in fact, a little steep. This is a corporate restaurant and feels that way throughout. The server disappeared with my out-of-state ID for over 20 minutes. We waited 25 minutes for our first round of drinks, and when we tried to be ahead of the game and order the next one in advance, we were curtly shut down due to their policy of not entering another drink order in the computer system until the first glasses are empty. We ordered a variety of snacks, which came out much more quickly than drinks. Everyone was pleased with the food, but my dad ordered a shrimp appetizer which happened to NOT be discounted for Happy Hour and ended up paying $11 for three average-sized shrimp. The real nail in the coffin for this loud, obnoxious place was the server coming by our table to cut my brother off- WHILE HE WAS NOT EVEN PRESENT. He was outside. The server said his manager declared he was flagged in the "system" and cut him off. Interesting. This would be an ok place for a group if you happen to be at the mall and need to please a variety of appetites, but not worth a trip across town by any means. And for $3.75 on special, at least try a new microbrew because you can pay a lot less for domestics at virtually any other bar in the city.

Had a really craptastic meal here -- shitake mushrooms, tofu, chicken over garlic noodles. It was cooked in some strange tasting oil that ruined the entire dish. Couldn't really eat it. Felt ill for the rest of the night. Blech. Service was fantastic, beer selection impressive, wine list decent. Just don't eat here?

Overpriced food most of the time. Better prices during happy hour, but significantly marking down an overpriced meal doesn't make it a "good deal." Marking it down to what it should cost in the first place seems underhanded. That said, the food is pretty good. Excellent beer selection and reasonably-priced martinis (at least during HH). It's a funky, cool place, but it's incredibly loud inside no matter what time of day you go. Good-looking servers do help the beers go down faster!

This was my first stop after landing at the airport in Denver. We came here for dinner and drinks and ordered a whole buncha appetizers and drinks for the happy hour. We got the classic sliders, onion ring tower, chicken nachos, and ham and pineapple pizza. Everything was decent, including the drinks, but nothing spectacular. I was pretty disappointed with the pizza cuz it was just whatevers and was all soggy and bland. My BFF loved the onion rings and my brother really liked the sliders, which i happened to clumsily/drunkenly spill on the floor as we were walking out with our to-go boxes... hehehe, my bad!). Anyway, we had a good time getting drunk, stuffing ourselves with greasy food, and watching the bball game that was goin on. Hopefully next time i'll have a better experience with the food and maybe i'll be able to get the food to the car before dropping it all =)

I normally don't frequent chains, but whenever life calls for a trip out to Colorado Mills this is my go-to place. The poke stack, awesome bartenders, and humongous tap beer selection make it worth it. If the place is busy just go for a seat at the bar--the service there is just as good as the dining room and even the female bartenders are actually attentive to female customers (every woman knows how rare this is). Also, when I'm in the mood for a Guinness they pour it correctly, which earns one star in itself. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I reserve that for the best of the best, and although the food here is solidly good, it isn't anything truly unique or amazing (with the exception of the poke stack). Also, it's in a mall and always really busy--good for them, but makes me hangry!

So I usually try to avoid yelping big chains but this place gets high marks for its Happy Hour! Oh yeah this place has $6 BIG Martini's during happy hour (used to be 5 but I think they're catching on) (I usually go for the late night happy hour but there may be a mid day one too) I love there outdoor patio in the warmer months and heard a new one in Denver downtown is about to open:) then I don't have to drive out to Lakewood Egypt:) Aside from Martini's they have over 100 beers on tap- seriously just close your eyes and point- or do the flight! They have specials on those too but I go Martini all the way when I'm here! My favorite martini's have all been made by several bar tenders fantastically (One benefit to corporate training consistency) They come out super COLD and I've never had to ask for extra bruised as it seems to be a default here. LOVED The Ruby Red one- tastes like kissing the butt of a fresh sun ripened Ruby red grapefruit ravaged w/ with some vodka love. Its super fresh and not sweeter than a fresh grapefruit which I like! For dessert had a Espresso Martini- YUM- real strong I like my coffee strong! There is a Miami Ice looking one and that was blue refreshing and not too sweet Grape oh yeah welch's in the house- so good. I know I've tried more like a raspberry vanilla thing or a spicy hot one seems to be ringing a bell but you know after that many Martini's not only do the stresses of the day go out the window but the memory fades too- oops They also have great half off apps for happy hour that are full size madness (seriously share no more than 3 unless you're a gluten) . I loved the sliders w/ Bearnaise, the weirdly created California Roll (More like mound) , lettuce wraps- mmmm w/ pinon that is creative and the crab cake- Poke stack was WAY too salty last time I went but salt lovers apply- (And I love salt so....?) My bro and I go here for a couple hours of fun and WOW our bill is like $35 ha!!! I also have to mention a side note that they have (or at least when I went) ONE OF THE BEST BANANA Creme Brulee's I've ever had!!! AWWWWW Chocolate bottom crust, smooth banana cream covered in slices of fresh paper thin banana caramelized in sugar- yeah!

Good food and a good selection of it. HOWEVER, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE stop serving those atrocious "shoestring" french fries! God, I hate those things with a passion. So I have to stab a bunch of them with a damn fork to eat them? Annoying as hell. Just give me some NORMAL fries. Damn.

I have never walked out of here thinking that I could have had a better meal. I was never disappointed with my food choices and the beers are great. My boyfriend and I keep going back. It really is delish! Okay, they could use some improvement in the service. Our server disappeared for a while tonight but it was super busy and we didn't really notice because I didn't go to the Yard House to talk to the waiter. I have NEVER had a better cesaer salad. Not drenched in dressing, fresh lemon, fresh lettuce... I dream of that cesear. Burgers are great too and the fries are PERFECT! Not to mention that they serve leinenkugels and I don't know any other bar in Colorado that does.

Big and busy restaurant. The menu itself is huge and has a variety of different items. Boyfriend got the pot pie. It was HUGE and good. I got the jambalaya and it was not that great. A friend got a tuna salad and said it lacked flavor. Everyone else who stuck to the basics...steak, burgers, ect, seemed to enjoy their food. Prices are ok. Probably won't go back unless it's to try their happy hour, which I've heard is amazing.

I love the Yard House Golden. Is it the mad beer selection? The ridiculously juicy burgers? Truffle fries? Amazing service? Can't put my finger on it, but I keep coming back. You should too. It's casual-middle class-large chain-sports bar-clean and polished. This is "what it is" done perfectly..

  • Joshua F.

Obviously, the beer selection is outstanding. There's really nowhere else you can go to find this many GOOD beers on draft. They have a great selection of local beers and they are reasonably priced. The food is hit-or-miss. Sometimes it can be really, really good. Others, it is very disappointing. All-in-all, if they could get their consistency down, this would definitely be a 4 star spot.

This is a pretty cool spot, assuming you can find it. Yard House isn't remotely visible from the street. It's kind of tucked behind the Target in the Colorado Mills Mall. Stopped in last night with a friend and a laptop for a couple of beers. Their Happy Hour starts and ends way too early (3pm-6pm) but we got in just under the wire for one HH beer. Love the beer menu, it's massive. I love Sam Adams Cherry Wheat and it's hard to find a spot that has it on tap. Unfortunately, the service was quite crappy. Our server was very nice and all smiles, when she actually came by our table. I had no beer for over 20min before she dropped by again and asked if we were ready for another round. Boo! Next time we are there for beers, I think we'll just sit at the bar. Didn't eat here but heard rumor that the food is quite good and appetizers (a list of 15 or more) are half off during happy hour (assuming you can blow out of work and get to this place before 6pm). So, I may be back to try their grub.

Omgggg a whole vegetarian section?! I love you, Yard House!!! The most brilliant idea ever? Go to the Coors Brewery, get your 3 free drinks, then hit up the Yard House on Colfax for happy hour. Pure heaven! There is a huge happy hour food selection, where I indulged in some veggie wings and veggie sliders. My friend ordered the onion rings and the half price margharita pizza. I didn't have room to try her food, but she said the onion rings were greasy, the perfect complement to beer! We also ordered beers (Blue Moon), but they are apparently considered "craft" beers and came to $4.25 each. Next time I would just order a Coors or Coors Light for $3.50 and save a little... My wings were deliciously spicy, and the sliders were melt in your mouth fantastic. I am drooling over them right now!! They are accompanied by shoestring fries and half a pickle. With two appetizers and a beer, just my order came to ~$17.00 (without tip). You could clearly get out of here under $20.00 if you order two cheap appetizers and a "domestic" beer (Coors, Miller, Bud, etc.) Of course, there's nothing wrong with indulging a little after a free beer tour at Coors ;) Seating-wise, we got there around 3:30 pm on a Thursday, and the place was pretty empty. It started filling up around 5:00, but there was no line and the servers were really efficient and friendly about bringing us our drinks and re-filling our water glasses. It doesn't seem like you would need to make a reservation. The ambiance is nice with dim lighting, so if you score a cute little booth, it could be a fun place to take a date!

Amazing food. I love the sliders, poke stack, and grilled artichoke. It's pricier that I want to pay except during happy hour when it's just ridiculously busy. Be prepared to wait if you go during happy hour. Happy hour has half off select appetizers and deals on drinks. We visit this place frequently and love the selection of beer!!!

We didn't make it in time for the happy hour that everyone raves about, but we did make it in time for the last call for food (whew). I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Yard House. The location is in the mall area near Golden, so convenient to stop if you're making a trip to Target. Yard House has a great beer list and I'd estimate more than 55 beers on tap. We tried mac and cheese with bacon, chicken and truffle oil. Oh my was it good! Very rich, so I'd recommend sharing this dish. We also split lettuce wraps that were as exciting as lettuce wraps get. Our service here was awesome. The server was prompt, knowledgeable and chatty, without being annoying. Highly recommend a stop here!

Best Happy Hour menu, prices and beers! Staff is always friendly..nice atmosphere. HUGE selection of great tasting food (with the exception of the California Roll - this is the only item that I've ever had that I didn't like at all). Love their crab cakes!

Great drinks although a bit pricey, and decent food. Usually my boyfriend and I will stop in for late night drinks and appetizers after seeing a movie. Be warned that if you go near dinnertime during the holiday season you will be waiting a long time to be seated- a lot of shoppers at the mall stop in to eat after shopping. I haven't had any trouble getting seated quickly any other time of the year, just November-December. Definitely get a couple appetizer plates (the truffle fries are good, and I also like the deviled eggs), or get the tacos. They have a gin & ginger drink that I adore, can't remember the name. We'll be back the next time we see a movie!

Overpriced, mediocre food. Really, really loud music. However, when at CO Mills, we opt to go here or CPK because their food court kinda sorta stinks. I usually get the Cobb salad.

Went here with my whole family (7 people total) for mine and my sister's birthday. The restaurant is really hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. I had just plugged the restaurant's address into my Google Maps phone application, and it took me all over the place. When we called, they finally told us they're "technically" IN the mall. Oh. That would have been nice information to have before (maybe a note on the website). Anyway- when we found the place, I liked the atmosphere, although our party of 7 was kind of crammed into a booth that probably should seat 5-6. Drink selection is good, but our waitress was pretty unknowledgeable about it. She kept having to go back to ask if they had certain beers. Then when we did order, it took a good 10 minutes to get our beers. Yikes. However, I will say the food is the saving grace at this place... although a little on the pricey side, it was very good. My mom had the tilapia and it was a really large portion of fish. I had the sirloin and it was cooked perfectly (I always order med-rare). Boyfriend had the parmesan crusted chicken which he really liked. My grandma had the fish and chips...nothing extraordinary there. Dad had the cobb salad, sister had the mac and cheese (truffle oil.....yum!) All in all, very noisy bar atmosphere, so it wasn't ideal for a family dinner but good food and drink selection and overall satisfied with both. I might try it again for happy hour if I'm in the area (1/2 off apps I think)

This is one of the better (consistent) restaurants in the Golden area. The menu is nothing spectacular (aside from the size of it) but there hasn't been anything I've had that wasn't pretty delicious. The portions are HUGE, and their Beer choices are awesome. The servers are pleasant and the bar staff is great too. The only downside is that it's VERY loud and hard to chat, especially when there is some sort of game or sporting event on. And it's a little more pricey than it should be.

Whoa, holy mac and cheese!! Damn that shit is good!! Great atmosphere and selection of beers. Be prepared to need about 30 minutes to look over the menu, it's huge! Such a great/diverse selection, if you're like me, there was too many things that sounded good so I had a hard time deciding what to order! Definitely will have to come here again!

I went here for my birthday, and I LOVED it. They don't take reservations, so there was a bit of a wait (20 minutes for us). Our waiter was very friendly and funny. I got a strawberry daiquiri and it was delicious :) My sister got the Pineapple express and that was also good! The real reason I give this place 5 starts though is because it has a whole SECTION of vegetarian options!! I got the veggie chicken and avocado sandwich and it was very tasty. It was a big portion, so I only ate half of the sandwich. Since it was my birthday, they brought out a free desert and written in cinnamon was "happy birthday." I thought that was a nice touch :) I will definitely be going back to the Yard House!

The Korean BBQ pork belly tacos were two of the best things I've ever eaten. They are the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and tangy. Run, don't walk to the Yard House and try them.

I've always enjoyed stopping by here - lunch hour is busy, but the food is good. Today the service was TERRIBLE. They cooked my burger wrong and when the manager brought it out he put it on the table and said, "can you cut into that and make sure its cooked enough for you?" No apology whatsoever. And no apology from the server. And no free burger for me having to wait while the rest of my group ate without me. In my mind, that is unacceptable. You mis-cook my food, you apologize.

Food is 4 stars / Service is 2 stars ...hence my 3 star rating. I've been here twice and gotten the same results. I'd classify this place as a moderately upscale casual eating restaurant. No need to dress up but the dark wood of the place provides a classy ambience. Good place to park yourself at the bar or sit down with the family/date to enjoy a better then average corporate meal. Here's my "beef" with this place. The service is under par. On my first visit, the waitress scoffed at the fact that our incomplete party (5 of 7 were at the table) was seated. She could have taken our drink order but she chose to let us sit around unattended for 15 minutes until the other two ppl arrived. As a waiter (many years ago), I jumped at the chance to take drink orders especially when liquor was involved. Why wouldn't I want to kick up the bill with beverage orders while ppl are waiting? Our waitress seemed to think otherwise. Throughout the dinner, she seemed irritated when approaching our table; she wasn't necessarily mean, she just wasn't friendly nor was she attentive. We paid a visit this week and again, the food was pretty good but we were greeted by a server who told us that our real server was on a mandatory 15 min break and he would be waiting on us until she returned. Fair. After our drink order, and fifteen minutes later, a different person (waitress) came over to take our dinner order. Our "real" waitress came over to check in on us shortly after that and a runner served us our food about fifteen minutes later. We'd asked our real waitress for another round of drinks with dinner but she'd forgotten about that but was quick to serve up a bill. A fifth server came to our table to run our tab and we never saw our waitress again. Talk about community service :) I can applaud a place that has servers roaming the sections looking to help but it's pretty impersonal when you don't have your dedicated server show up more then two times.

I enjoy Yard House if I am in that area. I don't find myself gravitating towards it as a destination spot. However, whenever I have gone here, I have never had a bad experience. The first time that I went here I was overwhelmed by the beer choices!! They have a ton of beer! Seriously, I'm not exaggerating they have a whole lot of beer, I think somewhere around 200+ taps of beer. Their food has been getting better each time that I visit so that is also a plus. I must admit that I do crave their organic tomato bisque. It might be the best tomato soup that I have ever tried! What to expect when visiting: Great beer selection, good food, ambiance is ok slightly warehouse feeling (not a big deal to me). I have never had an issue with the service. The servers are efficient and nice, but not too friendly so once again if that's your schtick then I don't recommend this place. I do think that this place is overly expensive for the quality received. You can go downtown to Falling Rock and have a better ambiance or even just a little east to Old Chicago for the same product only cheaper. Yard House does also have a good happy hour, but not as good as their competitors in my opinion. If you do find yourself in the area do stop by and check it out! It's definitely worth a one time visit just to see all of their tap handles! Cheers!

Eh, this place is ok. However, happy hour is a rip off. I ordered the martinis they have on their happy hour list and they conveniently don't fill them up.... they fill them about 3/4 of the way... so really you're not really getting much of a deal. The food is "ok". The calamari is pretty good, but everything else is just ok and for the price it's not really worth it for me.

Great place for meeting up with friends for dinner or drinks. Atmosphere is lively and food is pretty darn tasty for bar fare. Love the 100 or so beer choices, but be careful of switching it up too much throughout the night as your head won't like you so much in the morning! The menu has a great array of choices so you will definitely find something to meet your craving. We tried the sliders, nachos, onion ring tower, lobster garlic noodles, macaroni and cheese and porcini crusted halibut. Sliders were ok. Similar to White Castle. Onion rings were tasty, but then again what greasy, fried food isn't? Nachos above average, but had way too many beans. Lobster garlic noodles had good flavor and mac and cheese was dish by far. Will definitely go back and try other entrees and beers.

Food and Beer are great here. the only reason i'm giving this place 4 starts instead of 5 is because its expensive place to eat. but everything about the yard house is sweet!!! Oh and if you are a UFC fan. don't bother coming here. They don't show any kind of fights at all. your better off at hooters.

Love this place , but tonight the service was terrible. Stephs 30th birthday and the guy was not on his A game. Nonetheless they have a great selection, like many establishments with this format its meant for happy hour greatness. They try hard on the food, but too hard if you ask me.

The plates are artistic and filling. Each dish is made with a classic set of ingredients and then something to make it stand out. Our favorite dishes are the lobster garlic noodles and the mac n cheese squared. The lobster garlic noodles have full claws of meat and plate piled high of creamy noodles. Easily two could share this dish and get a tasty appetizer or one of their many beer selections. The mac n cheese is unparalleled with black truffle oil and crumbly top. At times the atmosphere is too loud and it can be hard to get a seat, but if you are willing to go for the food, it is worth it!

Love me some Happy Hour!! 3-6pm & 10-close daily!! Seriously some GREAT happy hour deals and this is the only time we come here anymore because you just can't pass up on that price tag! Amazing food for 1/2 price... pizza for $5, Cali rolls (they have a fun way of making these) for $5 too. Wine for 1/2 price, beer hella cheap too.. love this place :)

I love this place. It is best if you call ahead and get your name put on the waiting list because it seems that there is always a wait to be seated. Also get the mac and cheese. It is wonderful. Its a party in your mouth. It has bacon, chicken, mushrooms, and the most delicious cheese sauce. It is the only thing on the menu that I get. I love this place.

I'll agree with Richard P. on this: Great beer selection with typical, rather uninspiring bar food. They may have one of the best beer on tap selection outside of downtown (think Falling Rock). There isn't much atmosphere to speak of. The place feels like a large warehouse that was turned into a restaurant & bar. But wow, oh wow, the beers on tap! It's almost mind blowing. To be honest there are so many beers that I feel bad for the bartenders... that must be quite the search!

Always love the pulse at the Yard House at Mills - the economy be damned - this place is always PACKED. Great happy hour on beer, wine and 1/2 price appetizers - which are a meal in themselves! California Roll and the Bernaise Slidders are to die for. Amazing beer selection (HUNDREDS of options). Staff is usually really great, but we have had a few that could work on their attentiveness or common sense. Be ready to wait on Friday nights.

I only go there for the Happy Hour, but it's the best one on the west side of Denver.... Tropical Mint Martini and BBQ Pizza.... i get those bad boys ever time! Service is great and food is amazing! I wouldn't say to go there for the friday night happy hour because it's packed.

Great beer selection, though they don't put the beer prices in writing anywhere. The two pints I had were about $5.75 each. The avocado swiss burger was perfect. The avocado was thinly sliced and perfectly fanned out between the cheese and the bun. It didn't move an inch as I devoured the burger. The skinny fries were also very good; I ended up eating all of them even though I hadn't planned on it.

Never really been disappointed by this place at all. Great beer selection, walking distance from where I live, and one of the better places in the area to watch college sports around like minded strangers. Only real gripe I have is that some of the entrees are priced a little to steep.

OK, full disclosure, I was prepared not to like this place. I had heard it was noisy, a pick up joint and crazy wait time. So, I was pleasantly surprised. We hit YH in time to benefit from Happy Hour ... and what a great deal that was. I was thinking we'd have some appetizers then eat dinner at home later ... crazy. The appetizers were bigger than any dinner we would have prepared. (-: Chicken nachos, California Roll and Sliders - all good. Wish I had more room to try many more choices. Good wine/drink selections, and very reasonable for three adults and a toddler. (BTW, easy place for kids). Will definitely return, enjoyed it a lot.

So I went to the Yard House the other day for happy hour because I heard that they have amazing happy specials on food and beer. While it was a pain to find the place (mainly because I don't live in the area and don't frequent Colorado Mills mall), I was very impressed with it once I did. Now keep in mind that I went there for the happy hour special so I can't really talk about their main menu. But as far as happy goes, they have an amazing list of appetizers that are all half off (if I remember correctly) and the portions sizes for appetizers was amazing. The sliders were great! But overall we enjoyed everything we ordered. The beer selection is also amazing. They have more on tap than anywhere else I have been. And they have great a great selection. For instance, I think this is the first place I have ever seen Rogue Dead Guy on tap. It has a loud sport's bar type of feel so if you are looking for a quite place to dine--this isn't the place for you. But because it is loud, we felt comfortable bringing our kids, having a few beers and apps and leaving satisfied.

Can't compete with the one we visited in Waikiki as far as cool locations go, but not bad for being inside a mall. My favorite thing was the chopped salad with bloody mary vinaigrette - genius! The "appetizer"-sized portion was huge and I ate the second half the next day. Chopped salads hold up great as leftovers - no limp lettuce to get in the way, just tasty diced avocado, bacon, corn, tomatoes, cilantro and other goodies. I also enjoyed my ahi sashimi even though it was seared, not raw, but I should have expected that. The seafood dip was okay, I'd probably skip it next time. My husband's mac and cheese with chicken, bacon and mushrooms was delicious and served in what looked like a life-sized swimming pool, it was so big. He loved the campanelle pasta. The worst part about this place is the size and noise level, it's just SO huge and full of people. The best part is the beer selection - I got to have my old favs: Pyramid Apricot Ale and Rogue Hazelnut mmmm. But $6+ per beer seemed a bit silly. I came to use up a giftcard and probably won't ever be tempted to try this location again...but the location downtown is pretty tempting since the happy menu looked good... They have a cool policy where you can call 30 minutes before you arrive to put yourself on the list and it probably saved us an hour of wait time on a Friday night in the cramped, dark entryway with awkward, slow drink service.

One of the things I miss about California (moved out to CO a couple years ago) was ready access to Yard House. I think this is the only one in the state, and I'm glad that it's not too far away! This Yard House is attached to the Colorado Mills mall (loop around the parking lot past Target to park close), and the two times I've been there, it's been nice and full (but never had to wait for a table). The place can be loud, but it's just as much a bar (just look at their beer menu) as it is a restaurant, so if you're looking for a quiet, intimite time out, skip this place. But if you're jonesing for a good beer (or a few) at a place that will keep you awake, try Yard House! In the last year or so they've updated their beer menu to better categorize their brews. So now if you're in the mood for an amber ale, you don't have to scan through their entire list. My favorite food items include the lobster garlic noodles, porcini crusted halibut, and the blue crab cake hoagie. Oh and start with the hawaiian poke stack. :)

OK - So I don't know what has happened to this place but something is very, very wrong. The last 3 times I have been the service and overall experience has gotten progressively worse. I will use tonight's negative experience as an example.... I arrived at the bar and asked the bartender a simple question, "What are some of the newer beers on tap?" The punk, snot bartender replied with "We have over 120 beers" and handed me a menu. Really? Then another bartender came over and we ordered a pepperoni pizza and eggrolls. The pizza arrived and was overly greasy and nearly raw! I immediately sent it back and was not even offered another replacement item. Also the eggrolls were burned. So in summation the Yard House used to be one of my favorites but has gone right down the tubes. The "happy hour" is not at all cheap. The last 3 bartenders I have dealt with were condescending and rude. The food is also basically a miss...... In this area you are much better off heading over to The Keg for a better happy hour, better ambiance and much better service.

This place has a great happy hour, and that's best time to go. They have drink specials, and half-price on certain appetizers. The regular appetizer menu starts at $7.85 for Chinese Garlic Noodles, and goes all the way up to $12.95 for the Coconut Shrimp, so half price is a considerable incentive. Also, vegetarians will find plenty to eat from this menu, either as appetizers, or on the "Sub Vegetarian" section of the menu which offers a variety of popular dishes made with "Gardein," a meat substitute made from soy and other ingredients. Gardein is one of the best meat substitutes I've ever tried, and, according to the ingredients listed on the menu, it's "vegan," too. Gardein, if you haven't tried it, has a texture similar to meat, and can be cooked to resemble meat in many dishes. It reminds me a lot of Seitan, but with an even better texture. We had the Gardein "wings" with jerk sauce, and I was very impressed. This is a good restaurant to take a vegetarian, or a vegan if you want them to have a variety of choices. It's also a good place for vegetarians or vegans to go with their carnivore friends, because they can eat the same things as their friends except with the Gardein substitute - even the burgers! For non-vegetarians, and others of varied tastes, the menu includes everything from soups and salads, to fish and steak. It is a very complete, and accommodating menu with as good a variety as I've seen on any menu anywhere. Oh, by the way, the Onion Rings rock! Note: The happy hour runs twice a day - first at 4:00 to 6:30, and then again from 10:00 to midnight.

I normally stay away from chains, but with the great deals, a wide micro-brew selection, and friendly staff, I make an exception for the Yard House. My boyfriend and I often meet up here for happy hour, with it serving as a perfect halfway point off the highway from where we each live. We have eaten in the dining room for dinner once or twice, but decided that the happy hour and the bar staff are really what makes this place worth anything. We love the moo shoo egg rolls, their pizza, spinach artichoke dip and the sliders. It's all great finger food, good to share and usually nixes the need for dinner, but I can't imagine paying regular prices--or trying much on the regular menu, which has a lot of American overkill kind of entrees--as it's kind of overpriced otherwise. I really can't say much for the dining room service, but if you're lucky enough to snatch a place at the bar during happy hour, the bar staff is stellar. They usually recognize us even though we only go once a month or so. They try to do a last call with you before happy hour ends so you can get the most for your money. I've noticed that In the years we have been meeting at the Yard House, the bar staff turnover has been low. It seems that they treat their employees pretty well and everyone seems to work nicely together. Be warned: They get swamped especially if the patio's open.

So we decided to try this place the other day for dinner. Luckily we were there for 6 dollar beer day! Despite this steep price for a pint, I really needed a beer and I was impressed by their beer list. After being told that my first 3 choices of brews were not available I was just happy to have a beer when it arrived. We shared the lobster dip and it wasnt anything special, just a mayo dip accompanied with pita bread and tortilla chips. After the beer I was full and went on with my holiday shopping. I will be coming back to this restaurant when I already have had some drinks and feel the need to eat pizza (its 1/2 off during their happy hours).

I love this place however I am disappointed at times. I am a vegetarian and often order the sliders without meat. I love the bread, it odd tasty! But it does irritate me to pay so much more when I don't eat meat. More than half the times I order the meat is still on it. Additionally, when they do take the meat off they put the meat on the plate, the cheese on the meat, and an empty bun that is cold. I don't even get the bun toasted at all. If I ask to take the meat off and just add extra cheese they will charge me for it. So I have to pay for meat I don't use and extra cheese! I've gotten the bun sent to me and upon inspection there is no meat however particles of meat are stuck to the cheese and bun. Quality inspection and some hindsight needs top happen in the kitchen! As for the manager... paying nearly 10 bucks for cheese on a bun is insane. I love the bread but maybe a discount can happen for instances like mine?

This place has good food and a wide variety of adult beverages. Two things knock it down a couple of pegs for me: 1: price ... it is just a bit too steep for what you get in my opinion and 2: ambiance ... this place is LOUD almost all the time. It is much cheaper (though busier) if you go during happy hour as they have half price appetizers and some of their best food is on the app menu. Excellent.

Beer selection is excellent. I rarely eat burgers, but luckily made an exception. Avocado burger (rare) was excellent. Staff was pleasant and playfully interactive. Previously never consider a chain restaurant in a mall, but this was a very nice way to relax after trail running with friends. : )

I expected something more bar like but it reminded me a lot of PF Changs or the Cheesecake factory. It is a chain so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that it felt like one. Great beer selection but the food wasn't memorable. Chicken nachos were okay but nothing special. I had fish and chips, which wasn't bad but was just typical. What frustrated me were the fries, my fries were all really short, 1-1.5 inches. It's hard to eat fries that small without a fork. My compares had normal length fries so it seems like the kitchen just wasn't paying attention. Waitstaff was fine.

I'm torn about how to review this restaurant. The staff is smiley and you can't beat this place for being kid friendly (it's nice and loud, so other patrons won't be bothered by your kids). The trouble is, the food is EXTRAORDINARILY greasy -- and I'm the type that can appreciate a nice greasy bar meal now and then. Still, every time we go there, I'm shocked by how oily everything is. Even the turkey burger seems like a heart attack on a plate (not to say it wasn't delicious...). I'm also a little turned off by how many things some restaurants can manage to pile onto a table. Giant menus, bundled silverware, extra plates for appetizers, ketchup, mustard, candle holder, the little placard with the drinks they're trying to push... This place is a big offender in that department. That said, the menu offerings are decent (typical pub grub) and as previously mentioned, it's a pretty easy place to take kids, which always gets a few extra points from me.

I come here about once a week either with coworkers or friends. The beer menu is fantastic and the mixed drinks are pretty awesome, too. I love the food. The appetizers are tasty - especially the hummus plate and the calamari. If you want a sandwich, try their adult-style grilled cheese. For a full meal, the salmon or the parmesan crusted chicken. I can't rave enough about this place. The atmosphere is great (though you may want a sweater due to the A/C), the seating is comfortable, and the service is truly excellent. They never let dirty plates linger or let your glass become empty. Highly, highly, highly recommended!

I LOVE this restaurant! Their appetizer Spicy Tuna Roll is so amazing I get it as my entree. They have a daytime & night happy hour. Great value. The martinis are the best I've ever had...favorites being the Black Orchid & Miami Ice. Never had a bad experience here...everything is awesome. Fast service & great music. Turned in a job app here too, fingers crossed!

Great happy hour and beer selection. Went with friends and ordered various appetizers. Two pizzas, BBQ chicken and three cheese. BBQ chicken was really good. Two different types of sliders. Probably just go for happy hour, but good. Go early. We got there a few minutes before 5 on a Saturday and made it before the rush. Great drink choices. Good service. Kind of loud since it is wide open, but still a good time.

My absolute fave restaurant on the NW side of town! Fabulous full menu, and more beers on tap than you could drink in a lifetime. This is one of two places in town I can find a good old-fashioned pear cider. Happy hour prices are very reasonable. Music/ambience is a bit too loud for conversation, but everything I've tasted here is delicious.

This was the second or third time I had been here. The other times were work related and it kind of felt rushed (not by the staff, but with the people I was with). I thought the food was good, the service was fine, we never had any problems with our servers or had to wait to long for someone to come and greet us at our table, which is always a huge plus for me. So this past weekend a group of friends and I decided to come here for my birthday celebration. The biggest downfall in my opinion is that they don't take reservations. They have call ahead seating but only a half hour in advance, and there is no guarantee that there will be a table for you when you get there. We got there and it was packed! We only had to wait about 25 minutes which, considering how busy it was and I called ahead, wasn't too bad. When we got to the table, the waiter Vincenzo came right over to take our drink orders. He was awesome! Extremely attentive all evening, and super nice! Never really paying attention to their beer selection since the only other times I had been here was work related, I was pretty impressed. They had all of their micro brews laid out in order from lightest to darkest and they also have blends that you can get (black & tan, rosegarden, and some other ones that I can't remember). While we were waiting for the rest of the party to show up we ordered some appetizers. The calamari, and the chicken nachos. I really enjoyed the calamari, and it came with 2 sauces marinara & an aioli sauce, and the latter was really good. The only downfall with the sauces, I didn't feel there was enough to go around with the amount of calamari that was on the plate. The nachos weren't bad either. The chips were spread out and they were all covered with everything, not like at some restaurants where they give you a big pile of chips, some cheese and sour cream. The only bummer on this was there wasn't enough chicken on them. The waiter (not Vincenzo) that brought out our appetizers was not the most pleasant and kind threw everything on the table while we were trying to make room for the 2 plates. The rest of the party arrived and we ordered dinner. I ended up getting the blue crab cake hoagie. The crab cakes were awesome! The sandwich came with avacado (YUM), bacon, swiss cheese and their garlic aoili sauce. I did end up taking the crab cakes off the bread as that was a little too much, but it was really good. Some of the other people at our table had the jumbalaya, halibut, and seared ahi, all of which looked amazing on the menu and even better when it was brought it out. Everyone seemed pleased with their meals and I don't think there was anything left on anyone's plates by the time we were done. I had a great time and will go back regardless of the time of day. The atmosphere on Saturday night was awesome. They had all of the NCAA games on and everyone in there seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Lots of variety for beer and food. Sometimes it is a bit overwhelming. I have always had good food here. It has never been exceptional service or food. All the food sounds amazing on the menu then falls a bit short. Good happy hour.

115 beers on tap. The world's largest tap selection, or so they say. The food is pretty good... it tries a little too hard. Mango chutney should not be on, in or anywhere near a crab cake. I have eaten here roughly 6 or 7 times. I enjoy the beer selection (Franziskaner Hefe-Weizen, so damn good). The food is pretty consistently good. My issues with the place are atmosphere, service and value. It's a huge warehouse-like dining area. Absolutely no charm. Lined by booths, peppered with tables in the middle and the centerpiece is the bar with all its draft beers. The service has never been good here. not even at the bar, where you usually see an improvement. Maybe because I was such a small fish in such a big pond, but it seemed like nobody paid attention to their tables. Or cared. And the prices. I get it, the place is nicer than Chili's. So you're not Applebee's. Do you really need to charge $16 for a mac and cheese dish? Its good. My wife loves it, but every time I get the bill at Yard House I feel a little ripped off. I have no problem paying for a quality meal with quality service, but this place is a troll waiting under a bridge for unsuspecting travelers. There isn't a ton of stuff in the area, and the beer selection is worth a visit, just be ready to overpay a touch for your food.

There are many positives to this restaurant that actually do keep my husband and I coming back here. However, we always have the same negatives to complain about every time we leave. And after having lunch on Easter Sunday here, we had the same experience. Positives: 1. Good food. We both have been extremely pleased with everything we have ordered. The Thai Chicken salad is great, with a spicy Asian vinaigrette. My most recent meal was probably the best: Cuban roast pork sandwich. It was served with a barbecue flavored au jous, which was so good that we dipped everything we could get our hands on into it, and it made everything taste better. 2. Beer selection. Yes, 115 beers on tap is never a bad thing. Need I say more? 3. Happy hour. During happy hour all of their appetizers and pizzas are 1/2 off (there's a long list to choose from). All pints are $3.25 (regular price is around $5.75), wells $4.25, house martinis $5.25, and wine by the glass $2.00 off. They have 2 happy hours daily 3-6pm and Friday/Saturday 10-midnight. Negatives: 1. Service sucks. Whether you're at a table or at the bar the service is never very good. They could be slow or packed and still it takes the servers about 8 minutes to go grab anything. 2. Way too pricey. Yes, the food is very good, but definitely not worth the price. The Cuban sandwich I ordered was about $12.00. For some roast pork on a bun with fries? Really?!? Definitely go during happy hour, when the pizzas are around $5.00, and a pretty good size for that price. 3. Atmosphere is not inviting. It has the feeling of a large warehouse, which could be cool if it actually used to be a warehouse. But it wasn't. They built it that way. Why? It's a little overwhelming when you walk in, and definitely not a place that you would feel comfortable in hanging out with friends all night. Overall, my experience at Yard House always has those same pluses and minuses. We will most likely be back, but definitely during happy hour, when we are not in a rush to get in and get out.

Went here with Liane Seiwold, a friend of mine who's by the way, an awesome personal trainer in the Golden/Denver area. We had some good convo over some fresh tuna and then she had a big ahi salad and I had a pretty tasty bernaise burger. Being the burger snob that I am, I did enjoy the burger a lot as it was huge and pretty juicy. They have a strange rule that they can only cook it medium and up which kinda sucked and hence they lose a star for that since I couldn't get it medium rare. Beer selection is wicked with like 113 + beers on tap. I tried a few local brews that were excellent! A bit of a generic interior but it is nice and clean. Of course I often prefer the grittier raw places, but this was good for the two of us to catch up at and eat a good solid meal.

A little pricey, but I was happy for the most part.

This is a great burger place. The fries are super tasty and crunchy. I have yet to have anything else here but their version of Mac & cheese is intriguing. I really loved having a late dinner here after the big crowds and loud music are gone. The bar looks like a fun hangout place for getting together with close friends.

This is my favorite place to eat lunch. The food is great, especially the mac and cheese and pastrami sandwich. Good place to watch sports as well. Nice booths along the outside. Great patio dining in the summer and they seem to know my taste in music because the music is always good. I always get teased at work because if they ask us where we want to go for lunch, I will always say Yard House.

This place was really good, but not what I was hoping it would be. I'd heard it has one of the best beer selections in Denver so I headed over hoping for a Denver version of San Francisco's legendary Toronado or, at least, a decent pub. Nope, this is a reasonably nice suburb restaurant that happens to have a lot of beer. I went there at about 4:00 on a Saturday afternoon with my laptop hoping to get some food, a few beers and some homework done but this clearly wasn't the place for that. First of all, I was probably the only person there who was by himself, it was really loud and the waiter was very attentive but I couldn't really work there. The food was really good and the half price appetizers during happy hour was just right but it would end up being pricy during dinner hours for my budget. Two appetizers, two beers and tip came out to about $25. But I was really there for the beer, the selection was really nice but not particularly inspiring. There was a lot of local beer which was great but outside of that it was mostly a selection of the big names and some of their more specialty beers like the Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. Actually, there were quite a few fruit beers and ciders. I was overjoyed to find that they had Hoegaarden White on tap, I think it's the only place in Denver I've found that. Otherwise there wasn't really that much I really wanted to try. Overall, great place for a dinner and a good beer, perfect for a couple people or a bigger group and moderately priced for an evening out but I think you'll find me enjoying the beer at Baker Street Pub, Pint's Pub or even Old Chicago's instead.

Nice fun place with a great beer list, much like the others in this chain. Service was snappy and food was good. Great Turkey sliders and onion ring stack for apps. Tuna was tasty with fresh veggies. One snafu - entrees arrived nearly on top of the apps.

The Yard House has never let me down. They've got so many beers on tap I haven't had the chance to try them all... but ask your server for suggestions, they're very knowledgeable. Their menu also includes mixed beers, like the Chocolate Stout and the Framboise... it's a dessert, trust me. The salads are fresh (especially the pear and walnut salad... mmm!) the appetizers are enough for a meal (so order one only if three or more are sharing it) and the meals are big enough to take home and eat as three more meals. But it's quality food.

Took some of my family in here for appetizers and drinks the other day. They have an inviting outdoor lounge / patio area and they have at least one Dogfish head beer on tap which is very uncommon. They make a solid lettuce wrap appetizer. If you happen to be on this side of town or at the mall and want a drink or something to eat then this seems to be one of the better places I know of. It was a little on the expensive side.

Went in there late in night when probably all nearby restaurants were closed. It had some patrons when I got in. This place is like cheese cake factory that serves lot of quality beers. They may claim that they have largest collection of tap beers (certainly this location does not), but it still does not beat my beloved Sunset grill in Allston. Ambiance is really nice. It's more suited for a date or office dinner for a group. Food is so so. I had firecracker wings which was nice. But my buddies did not enjoy their food much. Finished up with chocolate stout which is nice!! I did not know this is a chain until I saw their website. It's good place. But something is making me say it's not great. 3 stars.

Let me say this first. I love the Yard House. I been to Vegas, Palm Desert, Newport Beach and I love it. Until Denver . . . After eating there on the 11 of October with group of 40 friends, 5 of us got so sick that some of us needed an IV from dehydration after the runs for two days. The manager was sympathetic and promised gift cards, but they never came. After speaking to another manager tonite, I am compelled to write this review. He was dismissive and questioned whether any of this even took place! I tried to reason with him for 20 minutes, but to no avail. No apology was offered until requested and he questioned if we should even receive gift cards- AFTER WE WERE LAID UP FOR 2 DAYS OF OUR VACATION! Poor customer treatment.

So I went here again today for a business lunch and have to admit it was better the secound time around. Still won't say that it's a great place to go but I have to up it from 2 stars to 3. I skipped the burger this time around and got the blue crab cake hoagie and that was actually pretty good. As a spot for a business lunch with clients it works out ok. There is plenty of seating and we had no problem getting a table during lunch time. It's nice and clean and you know there is going to be something for everyone on the menu so you aren't worried about people feeling left out. For this and the blue crab cake hoagie being pretty good i'm upping The Yard House to 3 stars, it is in fact A-Ok... for now....
