I have to write this review now, because it is fresh in my mind. This place is like a planned migraine; or a lottery scratch ticket, that wins you two bucks, when you paid two bucks. You just know it's awesome averageness and pleasing disappointment is going to come - and you beg for it. First, the food. It is not on the menu, but get the "twisted fries" (I think that is what it is called). It is straight up carnival-amusement park-state fair-food. A thinly sliced, twisted potato with cheese sauce and pico and a seasoning on the potato that makes you just plain GRIN. Always hot, and properly fried. A perfect balance of nasty grease, crunch, sweet and salty that you can dredge in fake cheese to satisfy any craving. If you get this to go, they know to give you the cheese and pico on the side, so you can microwave it at home, without it getting soggy. Next - the lemon pepper wings. I don't know what they put in this sauce except butter, butter, butter, and lemon pepper, and butter. It is the absolute best grease-to-your-wrist dripping flavoring (I am not sure I can call it a sauce) ever! I have had it on the bone in and boneless wings, and it doesn't matter. Kicks every other wing place's butt for flavor. Full stop. On Tuesday (oh, Today) .60 cent boneless wings and stupid cheap beers! These are not little nuggets either (they're not tenders, but are full size). Even with the bone-in wings, they are usually meaty. So why only 3 stars??? Slow and very random service. Find a trashcan - I dare you. VERY interesting clientele (although I absolutely, do not care). And not the super cleanest place. Try it - you'll be back; even if you hate it.

My wife and I dined here for the second time this past weekend. We were hoping that it had improved, but sadly it has not. The restaurant was dirty, the staff seemed to not be communicating at all, and the wings took FOREVER to arrive. After the long wait, we were hoping the wings would at least be good. Sadly, they were quite sub-par. Management needs to get in here and whip this place into shape. It seems like no one really cares how this place operates.

The boneless wings are decent and consistent, the frys are tasty, and this location is open until midnight. I mainly give this location 3 stars because of lack of consistency with how many wings they give you, an added 20 minutes to each quotes time, and staff can range from friendly and helpful to stand offish and rude. I have also experienced getting the wrong order and wings being pink.

Decent place for wings. I'm sure most people know about Wingstop, but I've gotta say this location for some reason seems to always take about 10x longer than you expect. I've place online orders and shown up 45 minutes later knowing they would be slow only to have to wait another 30 minutes at the restaurant. I've been to many Wingstops in my life and I'm pretty sure this is the slowest location I've ever been to. Food is good and people are nice, but I just dread going here knowing it's gonna take so long.

This is one of the few options in the Lakewood area when it's after 10, so I'll probably eat here again. The food is fair all around, the people are averagely friendly, though they've messed up my orders several times. Last time they didn't give me fries I ordered, then said they didn't give them to me because I didn't pay for them, even though I asked for exactly what my friend had, and he did get fries. The manager fixed it and gave me fries, though, but it seemed like entirely too big of an ordeal. Best part of this place, and why it gets 3 stars instead of 2, is the $1 draft beers, which is fun for guys night.

My last visit here they were a lot friendlier. Got a combo meal and had no soft drink and charged for water and then had to pay for veggie sticks ... Sad!!!!

Some of the worst wings I've ever had. Pizza hut has better wings than these guys. I ordered the garlic and the mild really couldnt tell the difference besides one being wet and one being dry. I have to say the only bright spot wouldve been the service, but that only goes so far.

My family tried this restaurant a few years ago and it wasn't all that impressive (I remember being disappointed by their sauce selection than anything else at that time). Tonight we gave it another chance and it was just unpleasant overall. When we placed our order the cashier was very polite and took our order with zero errors. We were handed a number and went to find a table. The bus boy was actively clearing garbage and trays from all the previously used tables, but not once did I see him actually wash a table. This was most evident on the table we ended up sitting at as it was caked with dried out soda and wing sauce. We waited about 20 minutes and our order was ready. The fact that we waited so long was a promising sign, usually indicative that our wings were all freshly made and not pre-prepared and sitting under a heat lamp. In fact, I can say the actual chicken was quite good, but the kitchen staff saw to it that we couldn't truly appreciate the choice meat. Rather than tossing the wings in sauce, as most places do, they apparently just dumped an entire bottle of the stuff to drown the innocent portions of poultry. My husband almost missed his last drummy as it was completely submerged in a tepid pool of bbq sauce. (see imgur.com/vgujiJp ) I ordered the lemon pepper wings, and apparently lemon pepper at Wing Stop is actually an oily salad dressing. My poor wings were coated in an extremely unpleasant oily substance that began to congeal in the bottom of my tray before I could finish. To further demonstrate the lack of quality control in the kitchen, one of my "wings" was in fact an inedible wing tip. (see imgur.com/ytV04CD ) My kids played it safe and got plain chicken tenders. These were actually pretty good, but my appetite was already ruined. Maybe new management could save this place, but I'll never know as I never plan on returning. Buffalo Wild Wings is just a few minutes away, or I could just have Pizza Hut bring me some Wing Street wings and still have a better experience.

Food is good and the staff is friendly, speed of food being brought to you is a little lacking. I've been told 10 mins and waited 20. Also the music is super loud in their building most of the time.

Just called. Put me hold that's fine. Then he rushes while talking to me. I asked if I could order 15 wings and he said " all right fine". He hung up. Who says that to a customer ? Obviously you sell wings and I'm willing to buy it. What do people come here for ? Wings duh. No call back. I never had a bad experience until now. Hope this guy gets fired.

We had a coupon from their twitter account for 5 free wing wings with purchase and all we needed to do was show the tweet. We called to place the order and they said we needed to print it out for them to honor it. Since we do not have a printer we asked if we could email it or something and they said no they need it printed and they don't have to honor it since they are technically in Lakewood. We called another location and they had no problems with it at all. Guess you won't get our money. Someone with a sense of business needs to manage this location because they clearly don't understand the concept.

I have been going to this Wing Stop for years. I ordered for the first time in a couple of months and was very disappointed. The fries were over cooked and thinner than usual. The wings which have always been big and meaty were small and not very meaty this time. I live between wing stop and buffalo wild wings . If this is what I get next time all my business will go to buffalo wild wings. Very very disappointment in this last trip. Maybe new management trying to save money.

I love this place, Just prepare to wait for your food and order to be taken. But It is worth it! The wait is the only reason, I give it 4 stars. Everything I have ordered from here has been delicious and always correct!

  • Tara K.

Well, we made sure to order online so our food would be ready for us. We arrived on time and still has to sit for an extra 20 minutes for our food. I will make sure I'm late next time so my food might be ready when I get there.

Horrible. 10 fingers down on this horrible place. These were absolutely the WORST wings I have ever had. They tasted like they had been boiled then dropped into cold sauce. DO NOT EAT HERE. It is a waste of money. I called the mgr. and he actually tried to give me more food. Like I really wanted more bad food. I will never go there again. My dogs wouldn't even eat their food. TERRIBLE DO NOT EAT AT WING Stop - They try and scam you!! This is the scam....they try to upcharge you on sauces for your wings or fingers. Each sauce is 75 cents and their restaurant menu states you get two sauces with a 10 piece, 15 piece or 20 piece. Do not be fooled to think they mean dipping sauces, they mean flavors. The waiter will leave a hand written ticket with your order and no prices. You go up front to pay. The cashier keys everything in to a register and gives you a total but never offers you a detailed print out of your charges. If you know to ask BEFORE she rings it up she can print out a detail, but only prints it out AFTER you give your credit card!! I ordered a 10 piece chicken fingers and they tried to charge me 75 cents for an extra sauce. Clearly at the register they have displayed under glass the same menu given to me at the table that says TWO SAUCES. I questioned it and the cashier whips out a paper to go menu and says see, it only has one sauce. And yes, she was right. BUT I wasn't given THAT MENU and it is not the menu at the cashier check out stand!! I said flatly I would not pay it and she agreed it was a problem after but only after I said I wouldn't pay. I didn't mention that she questioned me as to why I needed a detailed print out of what we ordered. HA, I know why...because they are truly running a scam. In what other eatery can you not look over your charges BEFORE they charge your credit card? NO WHERE!! Just beware. It is a real shame, cause they have decent food. For me, I am finally done and tired of fighting with them. Also, I tried to use a coupon there for fries and they won't accept it because they said it messed up their inventory without a paper copy?? WTF inventory? They are fries... MOTHERTRUCKING fries... that they probably drop on the floor and serve to you. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!

I think I was expecting something better for a place whose specialty was wings. The garlic parm wings didn't have that much flavor and the hot wings were mediocre with too much red dye in the sauce.

This was my first encounter with Wing Stop and I must say, it was pretty damn delicious. I wasn't let down, seeing as food at the time was a must and our apartment was still in shambles due to the move. We tried the Hawaiian wings And the original hot wings., both of which I would get again. The hot sauce was a bit thicker than I've had before, but I think that's where the flavor came from. And the Hawaiian.. yum! Pretty impressive. The fries...Yes, get them. They are amazing! The only thing that sucks about this place is, the blue cheese dressing they give you is bland, weak, and not good at all. You'd think that a wing place would at least have decent blue cheese, but I guess not. Overall, it was delicious!

Holy crap I love this place. Staff is great, and always have a smile. The wings are cooked to order and are always delicious, and their fries are unbelievably awesome. For a chain, this sheds the stigma.

We were so excited to try this place. Never been here before and not going back. We paid $18 for a combo meal for two which includes fries, 15 wings & two soft drinks. We tried their half original hot and Louisiana rub. They gave us a number and told us to have a seat and they would bring our food to us. But we couldn't find a clean table in the restaurant so we found a spot outside. Our wings came out in about 20 minutes (reasonable for wings) but they were barely warm. Both flavors tasted ok, we favored the Louisiana rub. Fries were over-cooked. Not a great place to eat. Dirty restaurant and sticky floors and no trash cans in sight! So there were customers' leftovers on tables outside. Bathroom had no paper towels. So glad they deep fried their food, not sure I could eat it otherwise.

Good for sitting and eating. However the last 2 times I called for take out, I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes!!! Then the first time I finally got through and started to place my order and he said, "Yeah ok." And just hung up. Very unprofessional, and rude. Most likely will not go back because of that. However the times I ate in there the girls working the counter and kitchen were super nice and down to earth. Overall not totally satisfied.

I heard about their "family package" special on one of the local stations, so I decided to check out their website to see what other offerings they had. On Mondays and Tuesdays, they offer 60¢ wings. I used this occasion to check them out, placing my order online. The website quoted me a time of 24 minutes. I arrived a couple minutes early and my food was already bagged up, just setting there. Not being kept warm or anything, just sitting there. The girls working the cash register seemed annoyed that I interrupted their conversation to pay for my food and seemed indifferent to my presence. Furthermore, the food was not packaged in a manner conducive "to go". My fries were put in the same paper "boats" that a normal sitdown order would be served in. If you're going to offer takeout, you should ensure you are able to package it in an adequate manner. As it was, I had to carry the bag horizontally, which is a pain. The food tasted OK--the hot yeast rolls were the perfect way to cool my mouth down. Don't think I'll bother ordering again, however.

I enjoy the boneless wings here. The prices are reasonable, an they have an ok selection of sauces. The atomic sauce, which will make you sweat has a very nice habanjero flavor. They do play the music too loud here, but will generally turn it down a notch if you ask. Not a bad meal for about $6 if you don't mind waiting ten minutes for your food.

Chickens In Heaven Common sense...its missing in some peoples' lives at times, and especially at this franchised restaurant. I was there on a typical pro football gameday. And to say the least, this place tops my worst experience, EVER, in a restaurant... On Saturday, I ordered my 30 wings at 1pm. They said my wings would be ready at 2pm. I get there at 2:15pm. No wings. So here's the story. I assess the situation as i walk inside at 2:15pm. Imagine walking into a restaurant, and instead you walk into 'The Battle For The Last Chicken On Earth'. People yelling out numbers, customers screaming out names, all with horror on their faces..So I wait...and wait..I discover from other victims that after they take your phone order, they do not start making your wings until you arrive. WOW....Then a guy starts yelling like a maniac, saying 'You mean you lost my order? You have no order for a Richard back there? F*** this place!' and storms out. Someone said he had been waiting for an hour and a half. And to top it off, the game starts, and they had soap operas on all the TVs...BUT, they had one TV in the back by the bathroom with the Broncos game on, with a small table cheering and screaming...you could HEAR the excitement coming from far away, like someone being at home, alone and depressed, on a new years eve, listening to the faint fireworks and cheers from down the street. Orders kept piling up from phone orders. It looked like a phonebook size stack of orders...Then someone yelled out, "Stevens! Order for Stevens yet?" Then the wingstop staff would all start searching for 'Steven's' order, and a staffer said, '5 more minutes...would you like a 2 liter of soda for free?' to make him feel better...I get my camera phone ready, to record a fist fight or a mob scene...orders kept becoming back LOST. Amazing really. One girl had tears in her eyes. So now, I had been there over an hour. I tried to get a refund, but the register was jammed. Are you serious...no one had a hammer either....sickening really...I actually told them to stop taking phone orders. Of course they didn't listen, as if there weren't over 50 people staring at them; hungry, pissed-off bird eaters. I finally got my order at 3:20pm. I felt lucky, because there were others waiting long before i arrived. Then I felt scammed. Cheated. Then happy again. But a relief of pure joy came over me as I walked out, as if I just left the DMV. So ecstatic to be in the comfort of my own car, I didn't even check my order. I just turned on the radio, and enjoyed freedom. Arrived home, opened the bag - wrong order...and the wings did not seem to be cooked to their fullest extent either. I just ate them anyway, and was glad to be alive. So to the corporate people at Wingstop...give your franchise owner at this location a wake-up call. This owner lost many customers that day. Many to say the least. If preparing for a normal NFL football playoff weekend, this franchise owner may want to be there. Or at least hire someone that takes charge. It was like watching 15 kitchen staff people all cooking, talking to customers, and taking phone calls all at the same time. No authority, no one with a plan, no GamePlan at all. Staff was losing the fast food fight. The corporate fight for that dollar. The common sense fight. The human condition forgot about humans. The time to cook wings. The time to watch a football game. The time to de-wing a bird. Time. So wingstop has obviously lost my business. I'd rather eat chinese cat feet than go through the stress of that again. Chickens In Heaven are clapping their Wings over this one...

Awful wings, wings with bones were dry, I ordered 10 and ate 2, they were uneditable, The boneless were soggy and cold. The service was absolutely terrible, the girls working there didnt care and seemed bothered that I was there. All in all I will go to Buffalo Wild Wings next time I need a wing fix. Stay away from this place!

Food is good but service is real bad. I doubt management cares. I call my orders in to save time. They always put me on hold for ten to fifteen minutes even when it is not busy. This time they hung up on me. When I called back, they tried to do the same thing but I was able to keep them on the phone. When I drove up, I saw that they were not busy. I love the food, but it seems they don't care how the customer experience is. Too bad

5 stars for the best fries--their french fries are stupidly good.

This is my neighborhood's most convenient and tasty spot to get some hot wings. There's no silly pizza to distract you from the real reason that you came in- wings, wings, wings! You can get them in Barbecue, Hawaiian, or a variety of hotness levels. Do not get the hottest hot wings. My boyfriend's dad has some serious caspacin tolerance and he couldn't even eat more than one. Hot pepper seeds are visible in the searing hot sauce that coats these atomic fireball wings. I couldn't even take a bite. Meanwhile, Gramps- a world war veteran- polished off five or six and declared happily that his sinuses felt very clear.

This is by far my favorite place to go for wings. Also their fries are amazing.

  • Sean H.

The wings here are really good, I just wish they would change some of the flavors (they've been the same for a loooong time.) For example I love hot food but I can't stand their Atomic flavor, its hot and tasteless. If I'm going to burn my mouth out at least give me like a nice habanero flavor or something. I really like the cajun wings, they have the Franks hot sauce with some kind of dry rubbed spices. If you are ordering for takeout I would order ahead of time as all the food is made to order. They have really good fries, but the last few times they ended up being soggy and soft. Its hard to argue with sugared fries though. They also have cheap and delicious beer, a must for a hot wings place.

I have never seen such inept service from a restaurant. Never, ever!! I placed a phone order 5 hours before pickup for some orders of chicken strip combo meals on Super Bowl Sunday. When I arrived to pick them up, there was 50 people inside and outside waiting to pick up their orders. This is an ominous sign from the get go. It appears they lost many orders from people who ordered online hours and days before pickup and after I waited for 45 minutes in the cold , an employee stated to everybody that all people who ordered online and had already paid would have to wait an hour to get their order or get a refund, and the others who ordered and not paid yet, would have to wait 2 hours. I waved bye bye and told the girl to keep my order and eat it herself. Many other people were upset and stormed out of the restaurant vowing to never eat there again ( I fully understand why now). The employees were all running around like chickens with their heads cut off (no pun intended) with no one knowing what was going on and basically a complete cluster you know what. Bottom line, stay away from this restaurant and order your wings from another restaurant such as Buffalo Wild Wings. No wings are that good as to have to put up with that kind of service. Stay away from this DUMP and be better off. This place is as bad as it gets!!!
