Came here with a group from work, and while half of us enjoyed the experience, the other half did not, myself included. Took for-ev-er for someone to even acknowledge us, at 130pm on a weekday. The place was about 20% full, if that, and it was about 10 minutes before someone even made eye contact. My sandwich was soggy, as well as the fries. The flavor seemed there, but the sogginess kind of ruined it. Seems the beers are good and the selection looks solid, but the food missed the mark.

I was here a couple of times last week while I was in the area for work. The beer selection here is pretty good but I can't believe they charge $12 for a beer flight here! The happy hour special is pretty worth it. A lot of the specialty beers are under $2 during happy hour. The food is okay. It's pretty typical bar food that's trying to be fancy but doesn't really make the cut. I ordered the portabella mushroom burger and it was pretty bland in my opinion. Another night, I ordered the chips and onion dip which was pretty good, and I appreciated the fact that it was on special. I will say that the server, Sara?, who helped our large group when we came here for happy hour was amazing. She did a great job at keeping all of our orders straight and did it all with a smile. It wasn't easy! There had to have been over 50 of us! In the end, I say that if you're going to come here, come for happy hour for sure.

The food is decent for the price and does come in more than happy meal size *large portions Food taste and presentation 3.7 out of 5 Service 3.0 out of 5 Craft Beer/Drinks 4.5 out of 5 Overall it is worth trying out.

Quite a few kinks to work out and maybe I can convince my wife to give it a second try in a few months or by next year. Where to start... Best was having four different people come by our table to ask us if we needed anything and it only took 15 minutes to get some BBQ sauce for the now cooling and half eaten brisket sandwich. Funniest was it was the first person that asked that evenually brought it. Two waitresses, manager, and I think the owner all came over. Dinner went like this: Sitting for ten minutes then going into wait stand to ask for some water and menus (open seating fail?) Ordered and food came out (slightly wrong and they weren't sure if it was our table or the other table) and we never did see the appetizer (nachos) we ordered (though it was one of two mistakes on bill when it came). No kids menu (it says Tap first but this is Lakewood family-ville) which was fine in the end because by the time we had food our two year old was nearly asleep and too loony for food. Repeatedly asking for water refill, never did get one. Like ever. First two beers I ordered were sold out (time for daily printed beer menus?) Found one I liked. Ordered a second one before we ordered food. As she was bringing our check my wife mentioned it and she finally brought a second beer. Check had nachos we never received, different entree (+$5), and the second beer was on it even though we'd not received it. I gave it three stars because we thought the food had promise. The management and overall operation did not. Owner was sitting at bar having a beer when I went to bathroom. Half the restaurant was falling apart, EVERY table near us was having issues, wait staff disappearing and stepping on each other and leaving to cry after probably being yelled at for inputting our order wrong. It is fixable though with better management. Maybe send the whole crew down to Highland Tap and Burger and get some ideas. See if you can poach some of their staff out to Lakewood. Now the hard part is staying in business long enough for me to get my wife to forget how awful our first experience was.

The best chicken wings ever!!! Local pub, friendly staff, close to home! Awesome...so glad we have Westrail in our neighborhood!

Everytime I have been into this establishment I have been very happy with the food, prices, and service. They have an amazing happy hour with a couple local beers, Coors, house wine, and margaritas for $1.90. The bbq nachos are massive and covered in all kinds of smokey bbq goodness. The fish and chips are made with an upslope brown batter and are cooked just right. The best food item though is the smoked wings, they have a deep smokey flavor that compliments the wing sauce perfectly. Westrail has my return business.

went here for lunch with a large group and the service did not miss a beat. had one of the prettiest and most unique salads I've had in awhile, which was the maple sriracha salmon. i wish i had taken a picture, it was beautiful, huge portion, and delicious. each bite tasted different, but in a fun and exciting way. they were generous with their ingredients too. some places skimp on the fixins but that was definitely not the case here. would definitely go back.

Very glad to have this in the neighborhood and hope they succeed. The 1st time we went was not long after they opened. It was great - interesting items on the menu along with the standard bar fare, great service, and local beers on draft. As they've gotten busier, they've experienced some growing pains. It seems there's no method to managing the door. No hostess stand when we've been. Just a clump of people waiting in the tiny entrance and lots of confusion. On busy nights, food was greasy, came out a different times, and service spotty. We are hoping they're settling in and will be just as awesome at busy times as slow times. We will be back to support our locals.

This was my second time here, but the first time was for an event with lots of people, and I just had what was on the appetizers that they'd laid out for us. Pluses: food was very good, everyone liked what they had (I had pulled pork sandwich with side of mac & cheese that was outstanding, two others had reuben sandwiches that were terrific (I tried a bite) and the last had fish tacos. We also had spinach and artichoke dip (not my fav) and fresh made potato chips with an excellent blue cheese dip. Drinks were good too (beer and red beer). Server was nice, but a little on the slow side. Overall, a really good experience. They have some specials that are quite good, and I want to try those out in the future. Will definitely return.

Worth the trek out to Lakewood. And Id neved have known about it were it not for a Facebook ad. First time those were ever useful, & it paid off! Five of us met up on a Wednesday for $16 prime rib dinner. To be honest, expectations were low. But Westrail exceeded them and shamed us for doubting them. Service was great--friendly & attentive but not rushed. They have a kids menu so the little one could join us (though he chose to nap instead of eating his cheese pizza). The green chili is a little non-traditional but is also flavorful and delicious. The prime rib dinner was a great deal. A nice steak with homemade mashed potatoes (not instant or prepared last week) and grilled vegetables. The vegetables were great: asparagus, squash, red peppers, all grilled on what appeared to be a real fire. They were delicious. There is a good beer list, and prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back for prime rib. And after such a good experience, I'm going to check and see what the other daily specials are. All thanks to Facebook. Who would have guessed?

Haven't had a meal here yet, but have had a few of their apps which have been good, although the wings have too much of a smoky taste for me. Nice large place, good and fast service as well. Will be back with an update!

Great bar! Stopped in for lunch and some drinks and was pleasantly surprised! Great food, good selection of beers, awesome bartender, football on several TVs. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

Portions are large. Biggest plate of nachos I have ever seen...it is literally on a huge round pizza tray...for only $10. Unbelievable. They can't seem to split items on the bill, so be aware of that if you're sharing anything but getting separate checks.

Step right up and seat yourself. Went to meet a friend here for HH and was not disappointed. They have some good deals on tap and some tasty nibbles. HH runs until 6:30 and select drafts are $1.95 each. I was a bit hungrier than the HH fare, so I opted for the White Chicken Enchilada. I was pleased with my choice, delightful goodness dripping off my fork and a portion so large I had enough for lunch the next day. One big, delicious enchilada flanked by black beans and rice. Loaded with big chunks of chicken and dripping with some sort of spicy cheese. It was one heavenly bite after another. Our server, Kaitlynn, was very attentive but not overly hovering and made sure all we needed was provided. There are plenty of TV's here so you won't strain your neck trying to watch your favorite game. Cheers, Westrail....

My husband and I stop in after work sometimes and have a few drinks. Every once in a while we eat. The food is good! When we drink we sit at the bar and The bartender TJ treats us well. He always knows what we drink and makes them just how we like them. The atmosphere is good, they just need some benches outside for the smokers... The live music is a bit loud in the dining area but we really like this place and it's super close to where we live.

I wish I could give this restaurant more stars. The manager Steven and our waitress were amazing! We told them it was our first time here and they made sure we were 100% satisfied (which we were). Definitely a new favorite!

  • Bob H.

Zero stars is best. Service non existent. Found a used straw in napkin place service. Sat for nearly 10 minutes and we're not even acknowledged. Walked out without a blink from a single staff person. Will never attempt to return.

  • Thad S.

We had the wings, street tacos and hand dipped chicken fingers. Everything was good. Wings were smokey and the hot sauce on them was flavorful. The fresh cut fries are good. The peach margarita was tasty and stiff. We will be back, as there really isn't a bar and grill this caliber in this part of Lakewood.

So nice that a good local bar opened in the area. I like Old Chicagos, but I like an occasional change. Good food, Good beers, lots of screens, nice people.

The food is actually really good food, happy hour is awesome and after 9 all beers being $3 for a place like this is unheard of. I did an old reviewCritically but the current mgmt is awesome and fixed the issues. Come and say hi to My people that work here they are family to the neighborhood.

My boyfriend and I went there last night for the first time. You don't have to wait to be seated when you arrive, which is nice. You can find your own place to sit. It did take a few minutes for someone to come by and give us a menu though. The waitress was kind enough to let us know about the happy hour still going on until 6:30 p.m. so we each ordered a beer from the happy hour menu. The beer was quick to arrive and great tasting. We also ordered dinner. I ordered the reuben and my boyfriend ordered the Philly cheese steak sandwich. We both ordered fries with our sandwiches. I am not kidding you when I say that there were probably at least two russet potatoes on our plates when the food arrived. There were so many fries! I think they could honestly cut it by at least half and they'd still be fine. It's just a recommendation. Seriously though, the fries could have been a meal in and of themselves. My boyfriend said the same thing. They were seasoned well, too. My reuben was also pretty good. My boyfriend did say that his Philly cheese steak was not an authentic sandwich. He said that an authentic one does not have a toasted bun nor does it have American cheese melted on the top. There were grilled onions but there were no grilled peppers. I asked him if the meat was good and he said that it was. I'd go back again but maybe just for beers and to try the wings (and because our waitress was super friendly). There were plenty of televisions around for all the sports fans. I just thought I'd throw that in there. Oh, and I saw who I think was the owner working all around the dining room. Kudos to her for getting in there and showing her pride in her restaurant. That spoke volumes to me. I even saw her talking to some guests (who I think may be regulars). It's things like that that make a huge difference to me. It's all about the customer service.

Really good experience. Sarah, our server, was cheerful, proactive, and fun. Atmosphere is dark pub with more tables than booths. Food was terrific. I had the Country Club (cobb) salad, which was delicious. My lunch mate had the pulled pork plate that he licked clean. Fair prices. Nice location. Will definitely go back again.

Being a transplant from downtown to green mountain, it was really refreshing to see a good bar and grill open nearby. The food is excellent, as is the beer selection.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this place as it is fairly new to our community. We're not big on fast food chains so it is nice to go to a restaurant by a entrepreneur. We ordered the fish and chips as well as the spicy brisket sandwich. First, I must tell you that I am not a fan of fish...especially Cod but, I enjoyed this dish! There was a hearty amount of fish, the batter was light and crispy. Each bite was delicious. The boyfriend ordered the spicy brisket sandwich with the side of grilled mixed vegetables. He enjoyed the sandwich as it was cooked well with the barbecue sauce. He thoroughly enjoyed the grilled mixed vegetables as well. Although we didn't see our waitress as often it my have been because we were deep in conversation. She did come check o see how the food was and if she could bring us anything. The downfall was we didn't get refills in our water when needed. I ended up taking my boyfriends water, lol...he wasn't very pleased as he was thirsty too. With that being said we can't wait to come back and try other dishes!

1 star for all the TVs. I didn't miss any NFL action while there. 1 Star for being locally owned. I'm all about supporting local small businesses 1 star for the large quantity of food for your money. 1 star for the easy going atmosphere They lose one star for our waitress being pretty slow and inattentive. Overall, a good experience and we will be back.

  • Adam D.

Great atmosphere, good beers, decent servers, mediocre food. I really want to like this place, and maybe my mistake is coming at weekend rush, but the food has been bland and poorly cooked. The menu is boring and there are many others that are doing it better quite frankly. Last time I got the BBQ platter and for $16 especially they missed the mark. Pork was over brined or waterlocked, no seasoning. The Brisket was dry and likely warmed up from two days prior. Good smoke on the brisket and the sauce good. Seems I always leave a little disappointed, but I'll be back, lol

This neighborhood is starved for a decent bar. The service was great, my burger was excellent and it has a cool, clean atmosphere. They just got pool tables, which is cool. Bonus points if they ever install a dartboard!

Best restaurant on Green Mountain! They have great happy hour specials and the best potato soup I've ever had. Their wings are smoked and delicious BBQ. We come here at least once a week!

Finally checked this place out, it is super close to our house and did not disappoint. Service was top notch. -cute short haired girl who runs the bar took care of us. Anything we needed she was on top of it. Food was really good! -smoked tomato Cesar with chicken was wonderful. Tortilla soup was definitely different but was still really awesome! Brisket was on a huge plate with a ton of fries and tasted delicious. Beer was local and tasty. -I can appreciate small businesses who locally represent! They had a ton of local beers on tap. Late night crowd could use a boost -Some feedback for them is to really get that late night happy hour going! I am a server and work late hours I need a place close to home to be able to get some drinks for a good price. Although our sever did let us know it was in the works, hopefully we can become regular late nighters. Thanks again for the great experience!

My second time here. First time the food was excellent and more than I could eat. Beer (Stout) was excellent. So I took my boss and wife to it. Reuben was excellent, had a cup of the Green Chile (tasted great - however, later it exfilled my body very rapidly). Wife had the spicy brisket and roasted vegetables. Boss had the same. I tasted the Brisket very good (not real BBQ) but we liked the flavor. We got a ton of food - we took half our food home in a to-go box. Wife had it for lunch the next day and it was just as good as the day before. Service - seated right away. Waitress was very friendly (busy) but kept our drinks topped off and took good care of us. Will return next time in town. Oldies music was great and there a ton of TVs to catch sports.

  • Jake H.

I used to eat here often, but the service continually became worse and the food options never changed. The food itself is over dressed to make up for the poor cooking of their meats. Each meat I've had here is overcooked and dry.

  • Megan S.

Food and service was amazing, but there were nats EVERYWHERE. They were flying all around us and landed on the table and were so annoying. We killed like 15 of them just waiting for our food. Very unappetizing.

  • Sarah W.

Happy Hour was cheap and Good. I ordered the Fish&Chips which was delicious. My date ordered the pork and that was good as well. But the very best part was the corn bread pudding. Definitely going back. The portions were huge and the service was good.

  • Dennis H.

Restrooms smell, sewer gases connected to the kitchen. Brisket has no smoke ring which tells its not cooked slow enough. Some food decent. Not authentic smoked meat. Shouldn't trust any seafood.

Went here for a date night & played trivia. It was so much fun. The staff was awesome and the food was Great! They have the best green chili pudding ever. My bloody Mary was perfect & spicy. I will be back soon!

It's good, but it could easily be better. Went with my wife on a Friday during happy hour. THE GOOD Great happy hour prices The wings Service(even while extremely busy, our server was very friendly) THE BAD My beer was warm and so was the glass they brought with it. The carpet needs to be replaced, I'm surprised people don't trip all the time with the wrinkles in it. If your gonna have great deals on Corona on Thursdays make sure you stock enough of it ao people that would pay full price the next day can still get one. I will never be down with restaurants that are seat yourself, this isn't fast food!! All in all, minor problems. I'd go back.

Kind of pricy for lunch on some of the items. I had the fish and chips, which was $16. Decent portion, though. Unfortunately, it wasn't terrific. Not terrible, but not great. The fish was pretty oily.

We visited Westrail for the third time this weekend, but this was the first time we ordered full meals, not just drinks. We were pleasantly surprised. For a pretty new place, they seem to have most of the kinks worked out. The prices may seem a bit high for pub fare, but when you take into account the quality and quantity of what you get, it is actually a bargain. As others have noted, the portions are ginormous. But you don't just get a lot of food, it is pretty damn good stuff, too (and not just for a pub). I wish I could remember our server's name so I could give him a shout-out, he was that friendly and accommodating. He had a great can-do attitude about every request we made and went out of his way to find the answer to every question we had. He deserves five stars, no doubt. The ambiance is sort of sports-bar-ish, but not in a frat-boy sort of way. When guys outgrow their baseball caps but still want to watch a game over a good beer and some great food, they look for a place like this. You don't feel like you're in a sports bar, except for my one complaint about the place: there are just too damn many TVs. There is one in every direction you look, and I personally find it distracting, but maybe that's just me. I'd probably give Westrail five stars otherwise. Every time we've been there, they have played really great music, too. You don't usually hear The Clash in a place with food this good! We'll definitely be going back. If they took down a couple of TVs and were a little more adventurous with the menu, we'd be there every week.

Great music good atmosphere...... the BBQ nachos are like somthing I would make in my microwave. The salad was bitter. Although the drinks were good.

We have been wanting to try this place since it opened, so we showed up here with family on a friday night. The place has a cool look, seats have privacy so you can chit chat but also very open and lively. We ordered fish and chips and it was surprisingly really good and filling. The menu had UNBELIEVABLE prices. 1.95 wells/house margs/etc and we ordered our meal off the happy hour menu, very reasonable prices. We couldnt help but splurge on dessert it was a jack daniels bread pudding, it didnt dissappoint either. Everything came out so hot and fresh. This place will definitely be one of our new weekend spots!

  • Jayme S.

We started off by ordering the $12 beer flights. I was a little disappointed that the waitress did not know much about beer when this restaurant was clearly a huge beer drinking place. I ordered the Turkey Brie Panini, which was very good but the side of veggies that I ordered with it were WAY too salty. Great selection of tasty beers.

    (3)
  • Joshua F.

Still four stars. Went back to eat and the food was very good and the service was good as well. Nothing out of this world but a nice, upscale sports bar with a limited and predictable menu. Not that thats a bad thing. They have salads, burgers, sandwiches...typical sports bar options. Again, the patrons were all friendly and having a good time. Will definately be back because its a nice change of pace from our usual haunts. If you're in the area and want a good meal, check this place out.

Went here with my boyfriend for a sunday night dinner and the atmosphere was awesome, cool decorations, lots of TVs and a lot of great local beers. The did was OK, I had the spicy brisket sandwich which was good, just not spicy enough. And the potatoes tasted box like. I would go back again, I would just choose another item, like the fajitas my boyfriend got.

  • Jamie B.

We tried this new place the other night when we didn't feel like making dinner. When we arrived it was pretty empty but I figured it was more of a lunch place for the local businesses so I wasnt too worried. First when I saw the menu I was a little confused. There was no consistent theme so I couldn't figure out what kind of restaurant it was. I saw trains, I saw some items were sometimes mentioned on other languages, I saw Mexican, English, American, Texas, it just wasn't cohesive. The service was OK and the food ended up being fine. Nothing is return for, but nothing to complain about. The worst part was the music was terrible. Cheesy 70's rock (think Kiss) that was playing actually very loud which seemed a little out of place (theme) because the place seemed geared toward an older crowd. Maybe I'm not the target demographic but I probably won't come back.

Like some of the other reviewers, I wanted to like this place. I read about it in the Lakewood Sentinel and started following them on facebook. The atmosphere was comfortable and everyone we talked to was very pleasant. But like others said, our food was bland ( I had the burger, my hubby had the chicken burger). The garlic mash needs more flavor. It was a very busy night and the fries were hard, as if they'd sat out for a bit. I kinda wished I'd just gotten a burger and fries at good times, because the flavor would have been better. On the plus side, it was a great place to get our toddler used to a restaurant. Again, I wanted to like this place. And I may try again some day. Here's hoping there's a bit more flavor going on next time.

Me and my fiance come here at least twice a month and love the food. It's reasonable priced and taste amazing for bar food. My fiance seems satisfied with beer selection and prices are reasonable. I'm a liquor drinker. No happy hour expect a ehh Margarita... no worries I'm not a heavy drinker I stick with the h 20 so I can drive. Service is pretty good. Definitely worth checking out.

  • Jen L.

Meh. That pretty much sums it up. Came for dinner, not the beer. So this review is based on the food only. If you are a foodie, you will be disappointed. Pulled pork was pretty good. Kids burger was puny (smaller than a McDonald's burger), and it seemed like processed cheese was on the enchiladas. Prime rib was just ok. I would go to Tellers Tap Room 100 times before coming back. Food is similarly priced, and is far better quality. This seemed like dressed-up bar food. Too bad because this is my neighborhood.

Undercooked chicken and attitude from the owner. Service was very poor. There is no reason to go back. We live in a surrounding neighborhood and wanted to try this place to support a local business owner. The ambiance is nothing to write home about (I think it was equivalent to my college cafeteria) but we were hoping the food would make up for it. Service was slooooowwww. I had to ask for water 3 times along with silverware and finally had to chase my server down to get the silverware when she kept forgetting. Our table was dirty as they have a seat yourself policy and don't keep up with cleaning tables. There was no offer to wipe it down. The menus were paper and stained with lots of food and beer. Gross. I think the only reason we actually ordered was because we were there and seated. We decided to get a beer and try the smoked chicken wings and see how that went before ordering anything else. $12 for 8 wings and I thought wow these had better be good. Surprisingly, they were. I really enjoyed the first one and was on to my second when I realized that the center of the wing was translucent. My husband's was as well. I'd had a big chunk of chicken in my hand to eat and put it on the side of the plate instead. We waited about 10 minutes to be able to tell our server of our issue. She looked at the chunk of chicken and said "that's so undercooked it's horrible, I would never eat something like that" and said she'd show her manager right away. I told her no need but that she could take the plate away. About 5 minutes later the owner/manager comes to my table and says (I kid you not) "I'm sorry that you thought the chicken was undercooked but there's no way it was". I assured her that it was translucent and she continued to argue with me. This went back and forth and I said twice "fine, we have a difference of opinion" and "okay, I'll agree to disagree". I just wanted her to go away and stop arguing with me but she continued. I told her I've eaten and seen a lot of chicken wings and no it wasn't cooked. She admitted that she hadn't seen the meat (so why continue to argue??) but kept her stance. What I didn't get into is that I used to manage a local wing restaurant (in another state) and do know what I'm talking about. She said "well, we've taken them off of your bill" and acted like she'd done me a favor. Not charging me for food that wasn't cooked properly and that I'd barely touched. WOW, THANKS! We paid for our beers and left, never to return. Overpriced, undercooked and no atmosphere. That along with an owner with a serious chip on her shoulder. You've been warned :)

  • Adrienne S.

We REALLY wanted to like this place, but unfortunately our first experience was terrible and much like the previous review. Incredibly slow service (except for when you ask for the bill), overpriced food for what it is, and absolutely zero consistency. We had to ask for water twice and still never got it. They brought out our nachos but didn't bring the salsa or sour cream, server didn't check on our food until we tried to wave her down several times, sometimes we got salt with our margaritas and some times we didn't. This place has a LOT of work to do!

  • William G.

We have been there a number of times and have yet to be disapointed. They have a great selection of beer and good happy hour pricing. Their wings are the best I've ever had. They are large and meaty and they smoke them. The sauce is just a simple traditional Buffalo sauce. Outstanding. We've also hade their Brisket sandwich, cheesesteak, burger, and enchiladas. Everything has tasted great, been generously served, and been reasonably priced. Service has always been good. Their servers are friendly. There have been a few times that we had a short wait to be seated during happy hour, but we didn't have to wait too long. Their atmosphere is that of a neighborhood bar, which is what they are. Lots of TVs playing a variety of games. Al in all, I'm glad they are nearby. We'll continue to go back.

Awesome joint! Great food, deals, and craft beer selection! Staff is super knowledgeable and the GM Stephen/Steven was so great. He really takes care if his patrons and makes sure they are 100% satisfied! I would highly recommend, this places welcomes every crowd with 0 drama or stigma!

We have been there a number of times since they opened and have had great food and friendly service every time. Fun atmosphere and plenty of tvs to watch sports. The burgers, bbq and Reuben are all wonderful. Really glad to have a "non chain" restaurant in the area!

Food was good for the most part. Rice was undercooked or had just been in the steam table for too long. Definitely shouldn't have been plated or served. Our service was good and I love the local beers on tap.

We live close and we have been there a few times to eat. We actually get take out more often because we're nearby and homebodies. If we eat in the restaurant we like it - sometimes it's really crowded or totally dead. Depends on when you go obviously. Since they've opened they have really improved on customer service. We had a terrible, rude and passive server the week they opener and I believe she either left or fixed her ways...we enjoy our time there now. I know they're trying to open a huge second area in the restaurant with more bar space and places to eat. Brunch is on it's way too, we CANT WAIT. Our food is always delicious. We always have tons of leftovers and we eat a lot - great value and the owners really care about quality of their food. Give it a try - you get what you pay for!

I am not a wings gal but their wings were outstanding! Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Love the beer specials. My husband had the brisket sandwich and it was fantastic! Would definitely come back. Great place to watch the games.

This place gets three stars. One for their selection of colorado whiskeys, vodkas, and beers! One for the staff, although they looked really bored, the bar staff was very friendly. The next star is for their caesar salad...smokey dressing was great and the size is massive. Why not more stars... the atmosphere is boring, little to no decor/theme. They bragged about their wings, not terrible but nothing special. Both mine and my friends entrees were not only expensive but they too were bland and boring. Maybe I'll be back for that caesar salad.

When you think of tap house you think of the establishment having there own beer and this tap house did not! Good selection of colorado beers! The menu was all over the place. Looked like they were trying to be upscale but slightly pub style but with upscale price. 14.00 for a philly cheesesteak?? Yikes!!' The food ended up good. The staff was nice. A liitle to pricey and upscale for a neighborhood taphouse!

We came here for the happy hour on Friday. The restaurant was pretty busy and seemed like many here were for the happy hour. Their drink specials were decent, better price than anywhere else in the neighborhood. We had a order of wings and they were delicious. We saw the price of the regular menu items and they were more expensive than we expected. They staff here brought our drinks and food pretty quickly and they were really friendly. Overall we think this is a good place for happy hour.

WOW, this place was great! Atmosphere: very relaxed, the owners must fly southwest because it's all seat yourself. TV's everywhere so you won't miss any games i'm sure, but it doesn't have a bar feel to it so I wouldn't recommend for a night out per say. Service: The waitress could tell it was our first time and took the time to walk us through the menu and how they cook their meats, etc. Food: between all of us in my group I think we ordered all of the sandwiches and the wings. All the meet is smoked throughout the day and is super tender. I got the pulled pork sandwich and would absolutely recommend if you're a pork person. The fries are cut from real russet potatoes and judging by the amount you get about 3 potatoes per sammy. Price: Very Reasonable. My Pulled Pork sandwich was only 9 bucks. YES GO HERE.

Not sure what all you negative Nancy's did to upset servers! My husband and I have visited this "bar and grill" twice and both times were up to par for a "bar" The manager was very pleasant with us after a small issue. Omg! the ran out of the Ruben sandwich "that's a good thing" Manager insisted on buying our dinner and told us it was the first night they started selling food. Good for you guys! Our meal was very satisfying as well as our service. Everything was great!!!! The next visit was even better, we were able to try the Ruben sandwich and it was so amazing!!! One of the best we have had in a very long time. Keep up the good work and as for any new Bar, there's going to be some kinks to be worked out! Relax it is a bar!

I just moved into the Denver area and was looking around for a good local tavern. There were several good write ups about this local bar & grill, so I thought I'd give it a try. As a single guy and a former bartender, I tend to judge a place by the person behind the stick. I take 2 points off for a no personality, fast food tender. When I was behind the stick, I made it a point to talk to people at my bar, not just ask how was the food & would you like another. I especially paid close attention to the solo folks. It isn't that busy here, easy situation to pass casual conversation. Anyway, desent food, plenty of TVs and clean. I will continue to look for a good local tavern that has a bartender & not just a drink pourer. Maybe it was a bad Wednesday, but I doubt it.

Really great place for this part of town. Friendly service, great beer on tap, and perhaps some of the better wings and green chile I've had on the west side.

Stopped in for a quick early dinner and beer before a concert. Place was pretty well deserted, but like I said, it was early. The beer was fantastic. Had the Great Divide scotch ale. They have a small selection of tap, but a generally good selection of beers, wine and liquor. The food was AMAZING and huge portion sizes. I had the rueben, the spouse had the brisket sandwich. Both were delicious, and the fries are fantastic. Wish they had a patio for summer drinking but still a great find.

Great bar and food. Came here on opening week and while the food was good the service was shakey. Here for dinner tonight and they've really upped their game - it's great!!

The quality and service of the food is excellent! Price is decent. If you sit at the bar, you will get greeted and served initially, but after that, good luck. You usually have to wave at the bartender to get her attention. Over all, a very welcome addition to the neighborhood!

I have been going to Westrail tap and grill regularly since they have opened, their large portions and fair prices are enough to keep someone coming back in itself but I have tried many things off the menu and have never been anything but extremely pleased. The owners, managers, bartenders, and wait staff are all very friendly and accommodating and actually listen to what people say so they can better the place and I'm happy to say that all of the staff is so friendly I have had the pleasure of getting to know most of them on a first name basis so thank you Jamie, Linda, Gretta, Carter, Jordan, Windi, Jamey, Alexis , and Emily for making this place great and providing a wonderful expierence every time that makes me want to return

The food here was super tasty! I love the smoked chicken wings! Happy hour is fantastic! Staff has always been very kind. I appreciate that this place is NOT a chain. I enjoy supporting local businesses. I also like that the owner seems to genuinely care about his customer's opinions and ideas. I will continue to visit this establishment, it's just what the neighborhood needed:)

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
