Bonefish Grille, where their advertisements are more inviting than the place itself. I couldn't have been more disappointed. I have this weird thing with onions, I can't eat them or I'll gag. I had been wanting to try the place for a while, but there's a good chance I'll never go back. I asked my server what he would recommend and to keep in mind that I could not have onions, and to treat it as if it were an allergy. He recommended a meal, which sounded delicious and I agreed to have it. When it came out I immediately saw chopped onions in the sauce. I asked the server and he said they weren't onions. I'm sure we are all aware of the specific smell onions have, but just to be sure I had my fiancé take a bite. Indeed it was onions. We called the server over to ask what had happened. He seemed apologetic enough, and brought me out a completely different meal, apparently the only thing not made with onions in the entire restaurant. My fiancé had already had his meal, and I had filled up on pure agitation. My one allowed date a month was pretty much ruined. To top it off the manager never came by to apologize, they charged me for my chicken dinner that I automatically got to go and charged me for dessert. Hospitality was seriously lacking. How does half of a party not even get to eat at a restaurant and still not be talked to by a manager. When I filed my complaint with Bonefish corporate, which is an Outback Seakhouse company, I never received a response. Nothing, not even an I'm sorry.

Bonefish Grill seems to be one of those national chains that you see as you travel and one day say "Okay, lets give it a go.". And it is a chain. Though having chopsticks on the table is a nice touch. The service was very prompt. My server kept circling the floor like a great white shark looking for dinner. He was very prompt and willing to answer questions. I had the Bang Bang Shrimp and it was incredibly good. As it was a Wednesday it was only $5. This set some high hopes for the main dish, Swordfish with Pumpkin Ravioli and Sweet Carrots with Ginger. The ravioli was pretty good, though the pumpkin could have been a bit stronger then it was. Loved the carrots, not sure why the ginger works so well but it did. Sadly the sword fish was the least favorable item on the plate. The first piece was burnt on one side while the other side was beautifully done. After trying a few pieces I decided that I wasn't going to try and over come the burnt flavor and rubbery texture from that side of the fish. The waiter was prompt and before I knew it the manager was over and tried to explain that burnt flavoring sometimes happens with the way they cook the food. I flipped the fish and showed the unburnt side and he offered me another piece of fish. He brought out a replacement piece of fish that, while I am sure was the same weight going in, reminded me of a piece of hamburger. Where the other had been thick and circular this one was flat and spread out. Think Filet Mignon vs Flattened hamburger patty. While this piece didn't taste like burnt wood, even with sear marks, it had spent to much time on the burner and was dry. I wasn't going to fight it. I can work with dry fish where as the overpowering burnt flavor is to much of a challenge. So while the service was excellent (And the service really was good. So much so that while it was a company paid trip I pulled out a couple bucks of my own money since I felt the waiter deserved more then I could give on the company card), and the appetizer was excellent, I was disappointed by the fish. I know fish is tricky, but it is a freakin' fish restaurant. So go on Wednesday and order the $5 Bang Bang Shrimp. Guaranteed winner there.

Tonight was out first time at Bonefish Grill. No reservation (not the best idea for a Saturday night) but we were lucky enough to find 2 open seats at the bar, so we sat there and watched the baseball game while we waited the approximately 45 minutes for a table to open up. We had a drink and some delicious Bang Bang shrimp while we waited, and the bartenders were great. Once we were seated in the dining room, things slowly went south. In short, a series of mistakes combined with an extremely slow kitchen left us, an hour after being seated, with lost appetites and ready to pay the bill and leave. Our waiter, Brandon, was great, and he made no excuses for the problems. He took complete ownership of them and seem be very sincere. The manager on duty, Kristen, came to our table and spoke with us at length, and also took ownership of everything. She was professional and listened well. She set a fantastic example of how a manager should be. We will return to this restaurant for a second try because of the way they dealt with the problems.

Went to dinner the other night for restaurant week. The Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer is really good. I also had the 6oz filet, which was good. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at Bonefish, but it was decent for a chain restaurant.

Went with reservations to celebrate special occasion. Hostess wanted to seat us at worst table in house, right next to her when you come in door. We said no thanks, could we sit over by the window on opposite side of room, which we did. The restaurant was well over half empty at 6:30 on a Monday , including several booths. Second time to go there with reservations - first time seated in bar with no warning, not the ideal, since it is very noisy and we had a guest with us. Caesar salad very good, had trout with mango salsa, also very good. Husband liked his crab cakes. Although people around us had bread with olive oil, we never saw a sign of it. Didn't mention it since we didn't notice until we were already almost finished with dinner. Pricy dinners, so felt we were cheated, although had plenty of food to eat. Shouldn't have to ask for what is supposed to come with expensive dinners. My garlic mashed potatoes were a bit on the runny side, the veggies were good. We had drinks and dessert, so bill was not small and we did not say anything to the waitress about what was lacking. At that point, it would have been futile. Would go again, but think management needs to better train their service people. Bottom line - good food, haphazard service. Would go there again especially since we live nearby, but now know what to specifically ask for ahead of time with meal and reservations.

We went to BG for my wife's birthday. It's the perfect place - not too loud and not too quiet (works well if you have a small child, which we do). We got the dinner for two which is a great way to go. First, they bring out warm, crusty bread with a homemade pesto that is so delicious. We chose the calamari for our appetizer, which was awesome. We has the house salad and caesar salads which were both great. For the entree we had salmon and shrimp and scallops. All excellent. We will be back!

Beware if you sit at the bar. The guy that waited on us was clearly not informed on the drink pricing. The girl bartender was good. We ordered a signature drink Blackberry Tom Collins for $5 advertised on website and table top. We then said we wanted a winter cosmo which we told the guy we would share. He brought it out in two 1/2 full martini glasses which was cool but when we checked out the male bartender charged us for two martinis instead of one and charged $6.50 for the $5 signature drink. My wife questioned the charges and was told NO the drink is $6.50. We asked for a drink menu and was then told don't worry about it with no explanation or apology. I then told the bartender that he owed my wife an apology after we sat there for no less than 15 mins while they adjusted the bill. It wasn't the $ it was the principle and they made us feel uncomfortable fighting for what was supposed to be charged. The food was good but the service was questionable and the manager was right there and never came by to say a word. Don't waste your time or money.

I have been to this restaurant on previous occasions and have had wonderful experiences. However, it appears that they have re-arranged (added tables to) the main dining space which now feels like a noisy, over crowded cafeteria. The tables are crammed so tightly that the wait staff can barely fit in to take orders. It was a very uncomfortable experience with zero ambiance. It was disappointing and I will not be returning.

I loved this place! Coming from California where everything is exponentially more expensive, it was refreshing to find a seafood restaurant that was moderately priced with great food. I remember it being Happy Hour and their Civiche was some ridiculously low price. I'd love to go back and try some of their other dishes!

I ate this Bonefish on Valentine's Day and it was fabulous! We were greeted at the door and was told it was only a 10 minutes wait so we went to the bar to have a beer. The bartender was very nice and help. 10 minutes later we were at our table and greeted by our waiter who promptly got our drinks and food order. We ordered the crab cakes which were filled with lots of luscious lump crab meat with a side of remoulade. The pan sear Ahi Tuna was also very delicious and perfectly crusted. For the main course, we chose Wolf fish stuffed with scallops, shrimp, and crab and Atlantic Haddock with feta and artichokes on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes. The dishes were cooked to perfection! The fish were so juicy and flavorful and the mashed potatoes were to die for! If i am ever craving fish I will definitely go back.

Pretty good food. I ate the Chilean sea bass and it was exceptional. Moist yet charred, tasty and fresh! The chimichurri sauce was ok. Also had sashimi and it was ok too. My friend had Fish tacos and they were awesome! I loved the ambience. But the place probably gets crowded. The place is very pricy! Easy to find. Lots of parking.

The Bonefish Grill should be burned to the ground. I am not advocating arson. In my perfect world, the management would come to their senses and do it themselves, not even collecting the insurance money. The least they could do is just sell off their space to a Starbucks or something that is redeeming in a culinary sense. I had never gone to a Bonefish before. It was Denver Restaurant Week, their $52.80 specials posted on the internet looked good, the restaurant came highly recommended by people we knew, as well as Yelp. WHAT A GIGANTIC PILE OF CRAP! I have to assume that everyone in the world got together and worked out a cunning plan get get me to waste my money at what I assume is the 6th level of hell (the one where everything is made out of food, but tastes like it made out of garbage), My problem with the Bonefish is that they cannot leave well enough alone. If I want mashed potatoes, I get garlic mashed potatoes. If I want steak, I get steak that has been living in some sort of wine sauce since it was part of a cow. Maybe they were making the cow drink wine. (I don't know, I supposed it is possible.) We had the corn chowder with lump crab. What did that taste like? Red Peppers! Because they can't leave well alone. If I wanted Red Pepper Chowder, I would have ordered it. Based on the food alone, I would give the Bonefish Grill two stars. The food was barely tolerable. But I knocked a star off because the prices they charge are painful. I got the $52.80 special and I still felt like I was mugged by a gaggle of street youth in Tijuana. My wife requested that I knock off points due to bathroom issues. Despite the quality of the establishment, and the money they are making from the exorbitant prices they charge, they could not spring for paper toilet liners. Apparently that is a huge deal in woman-town. The Bonefish Grill sucks.

I bet you did not know that "Bonefish are considered to be among the world's premier fly game fish and are highly sought after by anglers. Bonefish are primarily caught for sport. They are not commonly eaten. Bonefish are eaten in Hawaii, where they are known as ōio" Why would anyone name a restaurant after a fish that is not commonly eaten still beats me. Oh well, let's chat food. Its a typical chain, a typical restaurant that serves typical items that are found in a chain. The grilled fish (Sea Bass and Grouper were good). The mussels had a bit too much anise for my taste but were decent. We did not like the Tuna (seemed pre-frozen and actually tasted like it). The desserts were humongous (the brownie was good) they are close to 990000 calories but are sweet and tasty. Overall, it is a solid chain place to go for dinner when one lacks imagination. Will we return? Yes but only on nights when we lack imagination.

Yes, it's a chain, but it doesn't feel like it. I've been to Bonefish several times, in several locations, and have yet to be disappointed. The most recent outing was to this location for Denver Restaurant Week, and to celebrate my dad's birthday. The place was packed, we had to wait a bit for our reservation, and the service was a bit slower than it should be. However, given that it was the first night of 5280 and was slammed, I'm willing to give a pass. We started with drinks--two vodka martinis, two gin and tonics--that we later discovered were $3 each. And they were well-made drinks! We were stunned. The Bang Bang Shrimp was tasty as always, my salmon was perfect, and the house wine they served with the fixed price was fine. The kicker was dessert--I'm a big creme brulee fan, and their was among the best I've had.

Florida comes to suburban Denver and doesn't look back. BG is a tough one to beat. Great service, Great food and a pretty darn good ambiance to boot. what more could you ask for? BG is part of the Carrabba's, Flemings, Outback Steakhouse, and Roy's outfit of restaurants. A wonderful lineup of restaurants to say the least. My wife and I were fortunate enough to go to BG during Denver Restaurant Week. We decided to go for the 5280 meal. $52.80 for a three course meal which included one appetizer, to share, two salads, two entrees, and two glasses of wine or non-alcoholic drinks. A very good deal. The opening ginger-beef dumpling appetizer was superb. For salad, we chose the classic caesar served cold and crisp on a chilled plate. For entrees, I chose the grilled Mahi-Mahi, Scallops, Shrimp combo topped off with mango salsa. The scallops were succulent; nearly melted in my mouth. Not chewy by any means. The shrimp were juicy as well. The Mahi-Mahi filet was cooked to perfection; soft like butter. My wife chose the Filet of beef with broccoli and Potatoes au Groton. A great combo for any discerning palate. BG really does a nice job with non-seafood entrees. I was really surprised. For dessert, we shared a slice of Key Lime Pie. It was ok(according to my standards). I prefer a more tart Key Lime Pie. The restaurant was packed to the gills from the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out. It was fairly noisy, but not to the point where you can't hear your guest. The tables are spread out enough too to avoid congestion and overheard conversation. The ambience is relaxed, even though it was busy. The lighting is more subdued compared to any restaurant I've ever stepped foot in. Fortunately, for us, our table was directly beneath a halogen ceiling lamp. All in all it was a wonderful meal(sans kids), and I look forward to going back vey soon!!

First, I have to say I am sorry it was my first visit there. I am sure it will not be my last. We were there on Saturday. The place was full but not overcrowded. We had excellent service. We had a chance to eat without being interrupted by waiter every five seconds to see if everything is OK. Food was great. My husband can always find something wrong with his steak but he was a loser that night. Nothing was wrong! Prices were very fair for the quality and quantity of food. Bang Bang Shrimps are really great! Also, liked the offerings from the bar. Hope to come back very soon!

My friend and I meet there once a week for a terrific Happy Hour. The house wine is drinkable and the prices are amazing. Josh is THE BEST bartender and treats us very well. The kitchen is very accommodating and makes dishes to our specifications without a fuss. Both my friend and I have various considerations (no butter, yes olive oil. No fried, yes sauteed. etc) They created a sauteed calamari dish for us with olive oil, lemon juice, capers, peppers etc that is superb. I get a jones for it! Great bread and salads. It is my place of choice for HH. The ambiance is quiet and and pleasant. HH prices are so affordable. Yes, it is a chain but one would never know. I have eaten at other Bonefish Restaurants in other cities as well as Denver and they are all equally as good.

Brand new in the DTC area (corner of Belleview and Yosemite) - we just tried it last night and it was real good! It's small and they only take reservations for 25% of their capacity, so be wise and plan ahead or prepare to wait! The service was very good, and the food was overall very solid. They do have more fried dishes on the menu and a pretty decent selection of meats, but we went for the fish and they didn't disappoint. They have 4 standard sauces and a nice variety of fishes (we had tilapia and tuna), both with good sauces and your choice of one of four sides. My wife had a small salad, also very good and we split a key lime for dessert, which was very good. They were very kid friendly, the coloring book and kids menu kept the little one happy and occupied.. a nice variety of martini's, although I didn't partake - they did look good on other peoples tables. Pricing was what we expected, we actually fed 2 adults and 3 kids for $50 (not inc tip) - pretty good.. [no drinks/one dessert] The place is small and was crowded, clearly the neighborhood was dying for a new place to eat.. definitely worth the visit!

Bonefish grill great for date night with another couple etc...a little loud, but food excellent and I think I downed 3 pomogranite martinis b/c they were SOOO great. Good variety on the menu. Wish they were open for lunch, too.

My husband and I decided to try Bonefish last night for our date night. There was a 45 minute wait for a table so we grabbed seats at the bar to have some wine and an app while we waited. The bar staff was great, the app (calamari) was fantastic and there were two really good college games on the TVs so we decided just to eat at the bar. Our dinner was fantastic and we really did enjoy the atmosphere. I was surprised to see the poor reviews of this place so either management has taken the comments to heart or we just got lucky! We will be going back there again and I highly recommend it!

Our party of four went to this location last night for dinner. We all left saying that we will now scratch this restaurant off our list. Three of the four of us had been there more than twice. Problems were many, but some examples: Each persons dish arrived at different times. By the time the last meal came the other guests food were ice cold. The waitress handed plates over peoples faces from the side of the table, when she could easily have served each person properly. Out of two Mussel appetizers there were five closed mussels, and broken shells in the broth. We had to ask for spoons to eat the broth. The spoons came five minutes later. No bowls were supplied for the empty shells, so we used the serving plate as a substitute, although it was too large to fit the table comfortably. The four inch piece of bread came about 20 minutes after our arrival, and was never refilled. The salad was pitifully small. The vegetable side of broccoli was so salty it was totally inedible. By the time our server came back, with a new one, ever one was done eating. The Saucy Shrimp dish was awful. Again the chef must have dump salt over the top of this dish. No real comment was made by the server regarding the problem. At the end of the meal, the server asked if we would like the leftovers packed up, and I commented that it wasn't good enough the first time to take home. He said nothing to respond to my comment. It would have been nice if the server asked how our dinner was based on the amount of food left over, or advised the manager about the comment, but that wasn't in the cards for this evening. As a side note, I Emailed the restaurant about the problem, and the manager got back to me immediately. Based on the professionalism of the manager, we will give it another try.

Saturday night dinner. Prices aren't expensive but not cheap. Walked in to way too many kids out with Mom and Dad. Servers name was Austin. Way too chatty initially. The table next to us got their cocktails before us and we sat down first. He asked if we wanted bread. Yes!! We were almost done with our salads by the time it arrived. Salads were good, dinner arrived, Austin came by one time when we got our meals and we never saw him again! Would've loved a second glass of wine with dinner. I told him that when he finally came by to give us the check. He said "that's not like him"? Guess we were not an important guest. Probably won't be coming back here anytime soon. I could probably get better service at Red Lobster! Restaurant is losing money. I would've ordered more... Chain Restaurants suck and there's way too many in the Denver Suburbs!! Stay clear!

Got there about 7:20ish and it was about a 50 minute wait. Mussels were great and the swordfish was OK, not amazing. I have been here a few times and never had a bad meal, good for a date night. Loved our server!

What a joke, 15.00 for a 3 oz piece of swordfish with some crappy fries. Waitress advises that this is a lunch portion and asks if I want to speak to a manager. You would figure the waitress would advise a guy that is 6'3" and 250 that maybe the bite size fish dish is not going to be adequate for a lunch.

The Bonefish Grill in Greenwood Village is very good. My husband and I have ate there over a dozen times. We have yet to have a poor experience. The staff are great and always attentive with personal favorite recommendations when asked. I really appreciate the extra effort the staff put in when asking for specific information about the dishes they serve. Our favorite appetizer is the mussels. The sauce is out of this world! The bang bang shrimp is a favorite of many. It taste great but gets old fast if you eat too many. Sharing with 3 or more this appetizer is best.

I typically don't write negative reviews, but feel that I would like to give my input on this one. I'm really not sure how they have as high of a score as they do. I'm all about value, and want to get great quality if I'm going to spend the money. This place wouldn't be too bad if the prices where cut in half. For the price, it just isn't quality.

Bang bang shrimp, holy smokes... And their Blackberry Sangria is awesome!! We love going to Bonefish. There are occasionally people there who should have changed out of their ratty t-shirts or left their whiney children with the babysitter (it is a classy restaurant after all...), but that's not Bonefish's fault. I think the staff is great, food is awesome and the place is always clean.

Food was better than average. I enjoyed the sea scallops + shrimp with Pan Asian sauce, and whipped garlic potatoes. All of it was excellent. Dessert was cheese cake with apple rum sauce. I do not recommend this. Something odd about what they've done with this combination. Service was below average. Very long waits to order, get bread, refill waters, and get served. Perhaps will try them again, but not soon, and not a first choice.

We lived in a neighborhood close by many years ago. We ate here once then moved. As we walked towards the front door, a lady tripped on the sidewalk, fell back and hit her head on the cement. We helped the woman until the ambulance arrived. We waited 30 minutes for a table after the ordeal. I got Chilean sea bass (it's no longer on the endangered species list) and my husband got salmon. The food was excellent. It was hard to carry a conversation because it was so noisy. Service was average. It really was the only nice sit down restaurant that did not cost an arm and a leg in the neighborhood back then. It was surrounded by smaller casual restaurants and steakhouses.

Great seafood restaurant, especially for Colorado. I have had dinner here in the past and have always enjoyed the food and the service. Yesterday, my guy treated me to lunch for my birthday and the service was excellent. Before ordering, I asked about the grilled fish of the day and was disappointed that it was trout. Not my favorite. I was considering other options on the menu but a few minutes later, the server came back to let me know that she checked with the kitchen and they could offer sea bass, which wasn't on the lunch menu but was available to me. Nice! I opted for the sea bass with mango salsa and Asian slaw. Delicious! I enjoyed it even more because they made me feel that my taste preferences matter to them.

I was less than impressed. As this is a chain, it kind of reminded me of a red lobster. The bang bang shrimp was soggy and not spicy. The lobster rangoons tasted like card board. I had the fish tacos, which were tasteless as well. The service, however, was good. I probably wont return here in the future.

I went here on 8/19/2014 around 5:30pm. The dining room was a little busy, but not crazy and we were sat immediately. The waitress gave came by quickly and got our drink orders. She brought us our drinks and we ordered. She brought bread and an olive oil and pesto dip. It tasted great. First to arrive was our appetizer, the Cold Snap Fresh Ceviche. I've never had anything like it before, but it was quite good. The only minor complaint is that it didn't come with enough chips. We topped the Ceviche on the chips and ate it that way (I assume that's why it came with chips), but ran out of chips before the Ceviche was done. Not a big deal, but more would have been appreciated. Then came the entrees. I got a steak and lobster special off the special menu. I don't see it on the BFG website menu, so I don't know the exact name, but it was delicious. It was a 6oz serloin topped with a creamy lobster sauce with generous chunks of lobster meat. For sides I got Scalloped Potatoes and Couscous. Everything was delicious, and the portion was filling. Even my kids' meals (mac & cheese and popcorn shrimp) were good. Overall, very positive experience. Good food, good service, good atmosphere, and the prices were reasonable (for seafood in Colorado).

Our server was very attentive and patient. My friend has given up many food groups and therefore ver picky. Good for her and not good for me, I think I end up eating more food than I normally would. Anyway I had the fish special and it had bits of bacon in a light cream sauce. It was very good. My friends Sea Bass was also great. They have a nice HH with a 5 dollar a shrimp item that looked delicious and was very popular. Next time I will try that maybe as my meal if no one will share. The HH wine was just fine. We got there before 6 so we could go DT to the theater. By the time we left there was a waiting list. Prices were not bad. I plan to return sometime.

5 stars for the awesome happy hour. 4 stars for the food - not a big fan of fish since I'm vegetarian. But, I will drink a $2.50 glass of wine any day! 3 Stars for being a chain.......

A friend's car broke down nearby, so we walked in to grab a much needed glass of wine and appetizer while we waited for the tow truck. We sat at the bar, and our bartender (Bob) was really cool. He recommended the bang bang shrimp which were pretty tasty. Happy hour drink specials were pretty standard. I will be back for dinner sometime.

Despite my hesitation, we went to Bonefish Grille for dinner last night. The Olympic ceremony was on but hubby felt compelled to venture out for a bite. So out we went! I want to begin on a positive note since I opted for 2 stars on my rating. The service from the friendly hostess to the fast and qualified bartender to the polite waiter was all great. The wine list was okay and the crowd was friendly. (They even had the ceremony on the big screens :-)) Anyway, the menu offered lots of variety, most with an Asian or even southwest accent. For seafood lovers, there were several options for toppings to compliment your choice of fish. Unfortunately, I began with the house salad which was literally drowning in dressing and the lettuce had succumbed to a soggy wilted consistency. My husband's lobster bisque had a few nice pieces of lobster but the actual bisque lacked the cream and Cognac flavor that marks a great bisque. The bread was your average ciabatta roll sliced and served with EVOO. For dinner, the hubby ordered the surf and turf special and I had the Dori prepared with the goat cheese, sautéed spinach, artichoke hearts and a lemon basil sauce. My fish was okay but they placed huge dollops of goat cheese over the dish which overwhelmed the entire fish and vegetable creation...no balance in flavor, the spinach and artichokes were submerged in cheese. Husband said his meal was really lack luster. The upgraded steak was so/so and the lobster a little over grilled. Given the price point for the restaurant, I feel like a 3 star rating would be too generous. Considering the caliber of food from salads, soup and main course, I would say "Meh...I've had better." I know a local Italian restaurant in my neighborhood that prepares a better seafood over a wood burning stove and I have enjoyed more delicious lobster concoctions around town. Regardless of my disappointment, there were large lines of happy campers mowing down the bang bang shrimp. So....to each his own.

Didn't really like to atmosphere. It is open seating and really loud. I was constantly having to scoot my chair in for waiters and other customers to get by. Portions were really small for the price too. My husband had to eat a snack when we got home because he was still hungry. Food was ok, but nothing amazing. Small menu. We won't be back.

The bar here is so nice. It's an upscale, excellent dining experience. The staff is very nice and professional too. I love the steaks here. It's in a nice location in the tech center by the grocery store. There are many drinks that I've seen delivered to people that are so crazy and intricate. They really do a great job with everything.

Great atmosphere. They need to be open for lunch every day. I do love the bang bang shrimp and the fish they serve. A little pricey but worth it.

This BoneFish, like the other locations, offers seasonal drinks and delicious apps and entrees. After hearing about the pumpkin ravioli on the radio all day, we stopped in to try it. :( This BoneFish was out of the pumpkin ravioli though. So, I tried the Vintner's Burger with an apple martini and the bang bang shrimp that always accompany our meals at BF. The apple tini was fabulous! Red apple taste, not too sweet and not too strong! Perfection. The shrimp are always a must and are always great. The burger was good and layered with flavor. The kids ordered a salmon (loved, eaten) and fish and chips (loved, eaten)! This is important because my kids rarely agree on one restaurant and this is huge. We'll be back for more of the same relaxing, classy atmosphere and stellar service.

A slightly more expensive chilis. The service was poor but friendly. The food was meh but reasonable for its price point.

"You can't get ice cream out of s**t ... I don't care how much you stir." I was looking for the perfect quote to define my experience at Bonefish and well, it's not ice cream but the sentiment works. Let's get the GOOD out of the way: first-rate laughter and camaraderie with close friends, decent service, and plenty of booze. Now, the BAD: our party of 7 was wedged into a table in the back corner of the restaurant, which would have been fine for a party of 5 (no, not the TV show). Why do restaurants do this? Oh yeah, to maximize the profit per square foot. I guess that when you choose one of the "portfolio of brands [which] consists of Outback Steakhouse units throughout the U.S., as well as Carrabba's Italian Grill, Bonefish Grill, Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine" do not expect to maximize your dining experience. I have been to Bonefish a few too many times (3) to expect anything more than what they can give, which is not much. And once, I've even been to Lemmings, I mean Flemings. I didn't know they were related by corporate birth, but now it makes sense. And now finally, the UGLY: the food. Bang Bang Shrimp -the menu says 'crispy', which of course is the new euphemism for deep fried, and then 'tossed in a creamy, spicy sauce'. There is no discernible spice and isn't cream supposed to go in coffee? Not my favorite combo and basically you can't even tell that there were shrimp were involved. Speaking of combos, how about taking every cliché and putting it all together in one dish? Oh yeah, they have that covered too in the Ahi Tuna "Tokyo Style" served with Asian vegetables and rice. Take a decent piece of fish and then roll it in black and white sesame seeds, sear it, put some kind of sauce on it, serve it with over steamed broccoli which has been tossed in too much sesame oil, serve it with a fancy squiggle of Sriracha, and serve with chopsticks! Ooooh, aren't we so sophisticated? "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on -- shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again." --G.W. Bush Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002. .

I'm not typically a fan of big chain restaurants, but this place was pretty good. Happy hour goes until 6:30 or 7 and is available in the dining room - yay! The tuna sashimi was quite good and the seasonal vegetable (garbanzo beans & tomatoes) was the highlight of the meal for me. Our server was fairly slow, although very nice, and mid-meal the manager came by to check on things. The way he suddenly appeared at the table and interrupted our conversation was a little odd. A huge disappointment was that someone at our table ordered the Wolf fish special that was supposed to come with shrimp and scallops. The fish was cooked well, but there were no shrimp or scallops anywhere to be found on his plate. If you are a vegetarian and do not eat fish, you probably shouldn't eat here. I don't think there is a single vegetarian item on the menu aside from edamame.

I've been here a couple of times in the past month or so. Both on a Wednesday night - which is $5 Bang Bang Shrimp night. If you are planning on going on Wednesday night after 5 PM - make a reservation. We tried last week and arrived around 6 PM and were told it was a 55 to 60 min wait. Not even a place in the bar to sit at that point. The shrimp are good but not an hour wait good. The service was fabulous the first night we were there but lacked a little on the 2nd night. I would give them 5 stars but I'm not a fan of places that nickel and dime you to death with small little charges. Each entree comes with daily special of veggies and one additional side. However, they charge $.50 if you don't want the daily veggies and want to sub in a different side. Really??? $.50 - is it really that big of a deal to switch out a veggie? I buy veggies on a weekly basis and spaghetti squash is usually more expensive than broccoli or at least the same price. I've tried the crab cakes, rainbow trout, Kate's Halibut and Imperial Wolf Fish dishes. I think that the trout was my favorite and then the Kate's Halibut. The decor is nice, the lighting is a little low for my taste and the table next to us thought that the music was a little loud. When it is packed it can be a bit noisy.

I first went to a Bonefish in Tennessee. I was excited to see one near our hotel after our drive in to Denver. Our server was great. We came close to closing time so I think they were wrapping things up. We didn't get the pesto with our bread because he said they threw it away. Bummer, I love that part but not a deal breaker by any means. I should have probably taken it easy on bread anyways! I got a delicious salad with asparagus and chicken. It was so yummy. The Husband really loved his salmon dish that was on special. Very yummy. Overall we had a good experience. Our server was really good to us and attentive. Thank you!

This place is ridiculously good---but you already know that, right? On this particular visit we started off with the Bang Bang Shrimp and the Maryland Crab Cakes. The shrimp was just ok, but the Crab Cakes??! One word: Unreal. They were so delicious. Don't be concerned that for $12 you only get two little crab cakes--they were worth it. For our entree, she got the lemon herb talapia and i got the pork chop. I know what you're thinking, a pork chop at Bonefish? If you want to switch gears sometime, take my advice and go for it. It's big and meaty---keep your "that's what she said jokes to yourself". It was cooked to perfection and I was amazed at how good it was for such a solid cut of meat. Add a bottle of wine and you've got yourself a great meal, everytime. **About this location in general** This particular Bonefish location is a little weird. Located in a somewhat dilapidated shopping center, and attached to a Mad Greens or some other kind of little shop, it seems different than the others. The seating inside is a little cramped but still adequate. The service by our waitress was magnificent.

My girlfriend and I ate here the other night and had a great experience. The menu is creative, extensive, and offers unique items that I have not seen anywhere else. The wine list was varied and very broad-ranged. The service was very good, well above-average, attentive but not obsequious. I was surprised to learn that the Bonefish Grill is a fairly large restaurant operation, according to our server they have over 100 restaurants in the enterprise. Given the fact that this is a large company, it made it even more impressive that the 'feel' we experienced was one of a much smaller, more intimate restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

Food: 3 Stars (from previous experiences) / Service: 1 Star (from most recent experience). So my 2 Stars is the average. REMEMBER: THE ONLY DISTINCTION IN A CHAIN RESTAURANT IS THE SERVICE, AS THE FOOD IS PRETTY MUCH STANDARD. The fare at Bonefish Grill's across the country is consistent, and reasonably good. What keeps me returning is the comfortable bar setting where I can dine over a glass of wine, with good attention from the bartender staff (normally at this location and Sand Lake Road in Orlando). Not this time... As we approached the bar, I noticed smudges on the counter from the previous patron. I nicely requested a wipe, as I always do in a lighthearted manner, "I'm ok with my own mess but not other's". You would have thought that I asked for her child. From that point on, we were ignored, with very little interaction from her. We ordered a glass of wine each, and an appetizer, prior to what we thought would be our entree... she passed, we waited, she passed, we waited... I looked at my partner and asked, "how much time should we give her", and the reply was "5". We waited longer than 5 min, and then I requested to close and the manager. We walked outside with the manager and explained the situation. Fyi: I routinely refuse offers to have my food comp'd or like offers, so I can remain unbiased.

Atmosphere is good, the food we ordered was good, and prices are reasonable. But service? This location needs a serious kick in the behind. The night we arrived, it was not busy. The available booths had not been set up; we had to wait. The waiter was pleasant, but generally was a Houdini, routinely disappearing. Drink service was painfully slow, and no one in the place was particularly attentive. When the food came, it was switched up. When the manager came (at my call), we were comped for the meal (thank you), but said his/her card was up front and we could get it. Really? The manager should either be card-carrying, or should have gone to get one, handed it to me and said, let me know when you are here next time. This latter point frosted me. I've been to plenty of restaurants in the area, both budget and high end, and none of them have been as lax as this place. I will go back; certainly willing to give them another chance. They have a lot going for them; there should be no hiccups.

There's something a little fishy (pun totally intended) about a fish restaurant that has fish taco's on the menu and doesn't identify the type of fish (tilapia if you bother to ask). This place just misses on so many levels. We were excited for a good fish place near our house, but I'm afraid it hasn't turned out as good as we'd hoped. I suppose giving it a 2 star rating I can't complain too much about it not being open for lunch, but I did complain about that before I realized it was pretty Meh. The menu, featuring fish, is mostly an assemble your own with sauces and fish. For some reason, nothing sticks out; perhaps it's because nothing seems to be excellent, there's just a lot of ok stuff. Last time out, my fish was undercooked. They took it back and refired it and it was fine, but I felt like I was an inconvenience. The sides were nondescript but fine. Ultimately, I want the fish to take center stage at this restaurant. I can't escape the feeling that your wallet is center stage. I'm not so all-fired snobby that I can't admit when a chain restaurant is still good, but perhaps this one just has the wrong priorities. The service indicates a chain (which of course it is) to me - they are coached and professional, but not warm and friendly. Thank goodness they don't ask them to wear pieces of flair. A few things that do hit bullseye: My wife swears by their pomegranate martini's (and usually she doesn't swear or drink, so that's saying something). Their house salad is nice, but could use some more heart of palm. Pine nuts can turn your whole day around. Their Bang Bang shrimp appetizer is tasty and their gluten-free version is tasty as well. My wife is able to find gluten-free options readily here, as you'd expect from a fish restaurant. Bottom line: If you're going for the food, there are better choices and the service don't make up for it.

Service = 5 stars Ambiance = 3 stars Food = 2 stars Menu Selection and Prices = 3 stars Bonefish Grill is a chain, with probably around 100 locations nationwide, and part of the OSI (Outback) family of chain restaurants. As such, they tend to cater to a widely accepted chain diner's palate (loads of salt, and acceptable, but not very imaginative execution of menu offerings.) I'd say they have about 40 offerings on their wine list, which is OK for a mid-scale chain, but the particular offerings were uninspired and made me, a wine drinker, just opt for draft beer on this occasion. This location has been here for a number of years and has a typical late-nineties feel, with 1/3 of the square interior as you enter the bar area, and 2/3 the dining room with booths along the walls, but mostly tables elsewhere. It's not fine dining white tablecloths, but butcher paper on the tabletops, which is just fine for a suburban eatery. Service here is generally much better than most chains; they do train their staff thoroughly to make sure that everyone's on the same page with menu and wine knowledge, and with some fine dining aspects thrown into the mid-scale chain potion for table service. Servers wear logoed chef coats with rolled up sleeves and black slacks, and are friendly, maintain their tables well, and seem to operate together seamlessly as a team, along with visible management. Their staff is easily the best part of the concept execution. Food-wise, most items were almost inedibly salty, destroying any chance of nuanced flavor profiles from the "pricy" entree selections. We started with their most popular appetizer, the Bang Bang Shrimp, which gets rave reviews from regulars, but for me, it was too mushy, salty and nothing "bang bang" about it - soggy breaded and fried shrimp tossed in a mayonnaise and salt-laden dressing in a bowl, over lettuce. We ate it, as I hadn't eaten all day, but probably should have ordered some ahi sashimi instead. Salad starters are a-la-carte, and I decided upon the wedge; haven't had one in a long time, and i LOVE bleu cheese. It was fine and fresh, but the bleu cheese crumbles were seemingly tossed in a 1/2 cup of salt? The entrees arrived promptly (timing of everything was perfect.) We had chosen a $27-ish Chilean Sea Bass with a Chimichurri sauce, and a $16-ish Mahi Mahi with a mango salsa. Both came with their seasonal vegetable of the day (ginger carrot cubes) and our choice of another side each (Haricot Verts and Potatoes Au Gratin.) The fish was fine, grilled properly, and very small portions both (I ordered the Sea Bass regular size, and it was maybe 5 ounces, while the partner chose the small portion of the Mahi-Mahi, and it was larger, coming in at around 7 ounces.) The mango salsa was fresh and not overly sweet, while the Chimichurri was lacking that fresh lemon-garlic-parsley flavor, tasting more like dried spices. The carrots and green beans were fine, but the potatoes were terrible (incredibly, comically salty, I mean waayy over-the-top salty like sucking on bagged sunflower seeds salty, with way too much partially melted cheddar-? comprising 75% of the side, overwhelming any potato that might have been present.) Entree plate portions were much smaller than the appetizer and salad course portions had led me to expect. I'm a dessert freak with an insatiable sweet tooth, and am always willing to partake, no matter the amount of food I've already ingested, so we actually ordered 2 (!) desserts, a traditional Creme Brulee, served with freshly-whipped cream and berries garnish, as well as their dessert special, Bananas Foster. Both dessert portions were absolutely HUGE, which I wasn't expecting, each easily could be shared amongst 3-4 persons, and they were good. Our server brought us our bill at the right time, and a manager came by to say hi, as well as another server, who was an hourly manager on other nights. As previously stated, the FOH staff is on their game and was the most enjoyable component of our evening. Food was disappointing, however, mostly due to an apparent toxic salt spill in the kitchen. In closing, I'd go back for maybe a fresh fish selection without any form of creamy-cheesy sauce, and some fresh veggies for a side, skip the appetizer, skip the salad starter, then order one dessert for sharing, and I'd be satiated.

I really like Bonefish, I have been several times. A few weeks ago, I was exhausted - just wanted to go home after work but my aunt was in town and so we took her out to dinner. The wait was like 20 mins and all I wanted to do was leave, hit McD's and go to bed... The manager came over, he was SOOO nice. As soon as he opened the bottle of wine for us, our table was ready. A little while later, he stopped by again to see how we were doing. It was so nice to be at a place where they really do care about service. The bang bang is so good! I love the ceasar and the lump crab soup... All of the fish is delicious (I'd skip the tuna / jalapeno thing next time; although it sounded like an interesting combo - not really what I expected). I swear, every time I eat here you have to roll me out...

True to my word, Mom and I made a reservation for 4:30p today. Yes, we were eating with the early birds but, worried that even with a reservation we'd be waiting, we had to make room on the schedule so that I could get to a pet sit on time. Of course, because of the early reservation there was no wait. We were seated at a huge 6-top booth and greeted by our servers (one in training) shortly thereafter. My mom made a point to repeat that it was my birthday (last Sunday) several times (I guess she was expecting a free brownie dessert or something.) Our servers were very well rehearsed, ready to suggest appetizers (the Bang Bang Shrimp) and explain the menu to me, a first timer. The Bang Bang Shrimp were pretty tasty, and extremely popular, as we watched dish after dish come out of the kitchen as the restaurant filled up. I should have nixed the Caesar salad (not impressive), especially since they serve warm bread with a pesto olive oil. I ordered the grilled Tilapia with the mango salsa and pan asian sauces on the side. Mom got the Atlantic Salmon, blackened. I've heard that my Dad feels the prices here are inflated versus the size of the meal, but at $14 and change, I felt the size of my fish, broccoli, and summer squash was reasonable. The fish was tasty, but not phenomenal. As we waited on the check, the manager brought out a small dish with two chocolate covered strawberries, whipped cream, and a candle. Happy Birthday to me! It was a peasant touch, and a surprise. I didn't expect this restaurant to offer anything for birthdays. Overall, a great experience. Learn from my mistake and make a reservation if you plan to go after 5p (on ANY night, even week nights.) Oh, and try the Bang Bang Shrimp.

My wife and I had never been to Bonefish before, I had heard it recommended before. We thought the service was excellent. The beer was extra cold, a definite plus. We had the callamari, the soup and split the Diablo Shrimp Pasta. The dish was amazing, and they split it for us. There were so many shrimp in this dish, I couldn't believe it. We will definitely go back.l

I've eaten at this place three times, and I won't be going back. The fish and chips, which should be light, fluffy and tasteful, was greasy and tasteless, they made it with tilapia, a very nothing tasting fish. Some of the appetizers are OK, but really, if your specialty is fish and your prices are not cheap, please do a better job. One of my meals was quite good, but the other two times it tasted like a cheaper version of a chain restaurant.

I absolutely love Bonefish - I have been there several times and I am not ashamed to tell you I've dined there more than once in 1 week - Last summer for my birthday celebrations! My fav drink is the Pomegranate Martini - I could literally slurp one down through a straw in no time. Not sure what they put in it that makes it so yummy, but I've never had a pomegranate martini as good as at Bonefish. The bang bang shrimp is great, but I am sure pretty heavy on the calories. For a lighter fare, I choose the Ahi Tuna, which I think is some of the best Ahi I've had in Denver. Last time I dined at Bonefish, I tried the Chilean Sea Bass and it was terrific. Try it with the mango salsa - the sweetness of the salsa with the seasoning of the fish is superb. I've dine at Bonefish for girls' night out - Splitting a few appetizers and enjoying several martinis - As well as enjoyed date night with the hubby at Bonefish. He's not a fish person, but he has said the burger is really great. I appreciate the fact that the manager comes around to the tables asking how dinner was - To me, this is a true testament to the restaurant's manager concern for its customers. I just realized it's Wednesday, which means Bang Bang Day at Bonefish - $5 Bang Bang shrimp...I might just have to go out tonight for dinner!

Headline: Salty sauces and bland fish make for an average place There are basically three fish restaurants in the area - Landry's, Pappadeaux and the Bonefish Grill. No, I'm not counting Red Lobster. Since I've already reviewed the first two, it's time for the final one - the Bonefish Grill. This sits right in between the other two in terms of experience - it wasn't as bad as Landry's, but it wasn't as good as Pappadeaux. Let's start with the restaurant itself. It's split into a bar area and a restaurant. I'd advise asking for a booth, as the tables are way too close together. I felt like I was an intimate part of the conversation at the next table. There are a number of appetizers, but I felt we should go for something that every fish house needs to get right - Calimari. The Bonefish Grill version is called "Singapore Calimari" because they add red and green peppers to the squid. The chili-based dipping sauce was really the highlight, unfortunately. The tempura battered squid tasted greasy. For our main course, we bypassed the special menu and took something that they specialize in - grilled fish. You pick your sauce and a side and hey-presto, dinner. I chose the atlantic salmon with chimichurri sauce, and my wife picked the scallops (10 of them) with a lemon butter sauce. They came with a corn and bean mix, plus our sides. Let's start by saying that these dishes both had the same problem, which makes me think the problem is endemic to the restaurant. The sauce was overly salty - almost inedible in my case. The fish was bland. Put the two together and you have - something that is too salty on the outside and bland in the middle. No - there was no harmony. The corn and bean mix was nice - actually, the best thing I ate all night. However, the fish should have been the star and just wasn't.

In celebration of our son's recent 18th birthday, the decision was made to eat at the 'Bonefish Grill'. Our oldest son and daughter-in-law had eaten previously at this establishment, but for the rest of us, it was to be our first encounter. Little did we realize what a memorable encounter it would be. The evening started off with the perfect personalities at the hostess station. Yes, this makes for a great first impression, but I knew that there were alot of those restaurant details and expectations that needed to be attended to, before I would be giving this place a great review. As we were taking our seat, I inquired as to who was the Commodore of the good ship Bonefish. We were told it was Michael H. and as the evening unfolded, it would appear that he had the nightly course well mapped and had absolute control of the Helm. To make what I could spin into a long story...short enough for this page, the food and service were magnificent. During the journey home, our son talked about the best Fillet Mignon that he had ever had. My wife had the Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout and she absolutely loved it. I must not forget to mention our appetizer... Bang Bang Shrimp....WOW! Perhaps the thing that truly brought all of this goodness together was our professional and yet personal waitress...Alex. She did an excellent job of balancing attentiveness, menu knowledge, twinkle, conversation and timing. I would recommend this place to others, without hesitation.

My wife and I have only been twice and both times it was good enough to recommend - actually it was pretty tasty. Because Denver is a 'land locked' state we don't expect to much in the way of seafood. You just become accustomed to the fact that most fish will not be as good as it can be (Dont buy into the, "we fly in fresh fish every day stuff"...they all say that). If I was still on the west coast this place would easily be 3 stars. Anyone else notice that the shrimp in Denver (all restaurants) just doesn't taste right?

Everything is good however if you want an amazing appetizer get the crab cakes. Not the typical bread crumb hockey puck but an incredible chunky crab laden cake that is sure to make you smile. The sauce is so good I wanted to drink it. So great!! 5 stars great food, great service, great atmosphere.

My buddy and I decided to go to bonefish grill on a whim. I've never been but haven't really been that interested. He had a gift card so I decided to join him. The outdoor seating is open seating and it was a very pleasant experience being outside. Our server Steve came quickly and helped me out while I waited on buddy to join me. Also, the bread was warm and came with some olive oil and some herbs. Yum. Low carb dieters beware. The Moscow mule my buddy got was a bit sweet for my liking but he seemed to enjoy it. The bang bang shrimp and lamb lollipop chops came out first and the bang bang shrimp was to die for. VERY GOOD. They unfortunately forgot about the lamb chops and had to bring them with the entree. They made it right by comping them. They were good. This is a place for seafood... The thing is, that I have a hunch they were more on the super rare side due to the rush order. My buddy's sea bass was incredible. My shrimp and scallop was just ok.

This place was not great to say the least. The prices are ridiculous! The main course does not include a salad or nothing. All you get is some fish and that's it. It also took us 10 mins to get seated since there was one at the host stand and there was only one couple sitting at the bar. Would not recommend.

The lunch menu is very reasonable. Clean and ample parking even with lots of other businesses around. I had the fish tacos and side salad and the fish was grilled nicely. The waitress was very polite and brought extra mango salsa for me. They brought water refills multiple times. There are a lot of fried options but today I did a good job in eating healthy.

Went out for a litte Sunday brunch on the patio. Getting to the patio was a bit of a trick. The sign on the gate says to go inside and then when you get inside they just tell you to go seat yourself? Our server, Emily, was bright, cheery and happily took our order. We both ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict w/ potatos and a side of asparagus. My partner in crime ordered the unlimited bubbles (which is unlimited sangria, mimosa or bellina but not the Bloody Mary) I ordered the Spicy Mary. We had to wait for longer than what I would expect being that it wasn't very busy or crowded. Finally, our order arrived and much to our dismay was completely over cooked. Hard litte round egg yolks popping through the hollandaise was disappointing. I was hungry, so I went ahead and ate mine. The other order was sent back to the kitchen to be replaced. Emily must have stood by the stove because she returned in what seemed like only moments with two new plates. Unfortuneately, I'd already munched half of mine and wasn't hungry any longer. I did taste the fresh Benedicts and it was much improved over the first plate. The aparagus was steamed perfectly and the potatos were a nice compliment to the plate.

Went for a quick dinner with Calina. The place was packed but we kind of hovered around the community tables and some people were just leaving so we were able to sit down within 2 minutes of getting there. I did a survey and had a free bang bang shrimp receipt plus a $10 coupon. Jay, our server, was so energetic and gave great recommendations. We ordered two fat tires and the bang bang shrimp to start. Yummy as always. We then ordered the shrimp pad thai and a large order of the mussels Josephine (my all time favorite). Everything was yummy, yummy, yummy!! Great atmosphere, great service and great food!!

I stopped in after work for a drink. The bartender Chelsea was exelent informing me of all the specials and what was going on at Bone Fish grill. I really enjoyed her company. I sat at the bar and only had drinks but I must say that the service I received was above and beyond the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because I didn't eat on this visit but I will be back for that meal and am sure if the service is as good as it was tonight that I will be frequenting this place often.

I came here because I had a giftcard and wanted to use it towards some yummy seafood! My friend and I came for dinner and were promptly seated at a big booth. We were disappointed to find out that they no longer serve food from the bar menu which were very yummy! We looked through the main menu and was happy to see there were still quite a bit of choices. We went with the rockerfeller oysters which came with 6 big oysters baked with bacon and a cream sauce. It was simply heavenly. If you've never tried oysters, this is the place to start. The only downside was that the oysters came on a bed of giant salt and they kept getting on my plate and into my food. We also ordered a ceviche appetizer which wasn't as great as we had hoped. it came with 3 giant pieces of pita bread and giant shrimp pieces surrounded by a giant block of ice which was rather unique but it tasted so-so. For entrees we got 3 fish tacos which were pretty delicious and definitely very filling as well as the shrimp pad thai. The pad thai was too sweet for my liking but it wasn't bad overall. I also really like the bread they serve you in the beginning! It's very soft and the sauce for the dip is nice as well. The service is great here. They are very fast, very professional and good with complicated requests. I wanted tobasco sauce, sriracha, and ketchup and the waiter brought it all without complaints. He even convinced us two extremely full girls to get the donut/beignets dessert. And we were happy we did because they were so delicious!!! I don't even normally like whipped cream but this is a must with the donuts. Happy dinner and dining experience overall!

First, let me start by saying it was utterly my mistake for not making a reservation on Father's Day. I just didn't think it would be that busy. Kudos to the team for taking us in as a walk-in. The wait was at least 20 minutes (maybe closer to 25 minutes), but we got to sit down in the foyer while we waited. Every single party that arrived after us had a reservation. It was kind of embarrassing! Good thing I had a gift card or I would have left. After all that, I was hoping the rest of the experinece would make up for the faux pas, but the service was slow, the food just okay, and the Moscow Mule ridiculously tiny and overpriced. Although it was my bad for not making a reservation, the food and service itself just wasn't worth it.

I'm very disappointed. I come here occasionally and was always satisfied. But last two times I've ordered take out for lunch, I was very disappointed! Both times the host never offered if I needed utensils. Today I decided to order lunch from here. I've ordered fish & chips and house salad with Ahi Tuna. Usually the salads are fresh but not today. I had to pick quite a lot of brown leaves. Also NO CHIPS in fish&chips! I was in a rush so I trusted that they packed everything but I should've checked. Unbelievable... No Chips... I'm not going back there again for take out or dining in!!

We were in the mood for fish, and to get off the highway before traffic got ugly. Stopped in with the beau, and ordered Thai coconut shrimp, Chef's special Bass, and the Blackened fish tacos. The coconut shrimp was super meaty and big, the batter and crust were perfect, it comes with basil leaves and a thai chili sauce perfect starter, (I like better then the bang bang shrimp) The bass came out on a bed of rice mixed with like a teriyaki sauce and mushrooms, perfect for the buttery fish taste. My personal fave and something I can see myself coming back for was the blackened fish tacos, 3 healthy stuffed tortillas with delicious fish and a mango salsa.. very tasty! The strawberry shortcake, was not bad .. but on the small side for the $8 price tag..

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. I ate there numerous times, and I just keep going back. Best value in Denver for the Fish they serve. May be more fish selection will be great.

I will NEVER understand why people flock to chains like this on weekend nights- there are SO many amazing dining options in the Denver metro area, and this is not one of them. Thankfully, I had gotten a reservation so we were seated quickly. And the only reason we were there was I had received a gift card and it needed to be used. The notorious bang bang shrimp is strange. It is not crispy because of the sauce its served swimming in, and the flavor overall is very muted. And you would never know there was shrimp under that massive amount of batter if the menu didn't tell you. Entrees were edible, but certainly unmemorable. Very few beer choices on tap, and cocktails were ho hum. This place gets packed, and it gets loud! Service was impressively good, considering what it could have been. Ultimately, you come here for overhyped food with unconscionable calorie counts, and that's about it.

3 stars: Good. Typical chain restaurant in the suburbs. The STARS of this meal were the BLACKBERRY SANGRIA, which is hand muddled with fresh fruit for each and every glass with a quality merlot- incredible! Refreshing! Dangerous! and The Cocunut pudding pie- served warm with a rum sauce- YUM!!! Just like grandma made, but with real rum! My entree was meh.... a very thin piece of salmon, well done but served lukewarm/room temperature with goat cheese and basil. The parmesan fries were recommended and were only OK. Service was good and attentive, but a little slow, and the atmosphere was just "fine". I hear they do a great brunch with those bottomless Sangrias....If you are in the suburbs/ Tech Center, this is not a bad choice.

I have to start by saying that I don't eat seafood. Period. But my wife loves seafood. Bonefish is one of her go to places for great seafood and she almost always gets the sea bass. I get their filet and it is always a very good filet. Bonefish is a part of the Bloomin Brands of restaurants which is owned by Flemings, the owners of Outback, Carrabba's and Flemings Steakhouse. So they know how to make a good steak.

This place has a great happy hour. Especially on BANG!BANG! shrimp day. We went to brunch, it was good but not spectacular. The service was really good, and our waiter was super nice and very attentive. We had a KOBE burger, and it was good, I don't really know what to expect with the whole KOBE thing. It tasted like a burger, a good burger, but just a burger. Each of my daughters got breakfasty things... french toast and a benny. They were good. The french toast was very pretty and fluffy. The potatoes were just like fluffy, creamy mac and cheese. Super yummy. The prices are high, which is expected for breakfast at Racine's or Snooze, as those places are amazing. I feel like this is a dressed up chiles pretending to be a boutique-ish/fancy restaurant. This was good, but not fantastic.

Our waitress Meg was amazing. She took such good care of us. Would come back for her. Though the manager on duty was terrible. She really favored the table next to us and didn't pay us mind of day. It's people like her that make these experiences terrible

It was awful. Service and the food. And when we complained to the waiter, he said he would send the manager over. She never came, so we asked our waiter again where the manager was. He said she wasn't coming over because there was nothing that could be done as we had already eaten the food that was served. We didn't even want anything in return, we just wanted to express our concern to the manager that the food was too salty, and the service was awful. Even if we had eaten our food, if she truly cared, she should still come over and apologized. I'm not sure where all these rave reviews are coming from, either. It's really not good. It's overpriced, salty, and small portions. Never, ever going back and never recommending to a friend.

We came for our 31st wedding anniversary. Terrific! We started with bang bang shrimp and mussels. They were to die for! They bring fresh hot french bread. Dip the bread in the sauce that comes with the mussels. Yummmm.. Entrees were scallops & shrimp with a lime, garlic & tomato. Husband had scallops with risotto and squash. Watermelon Aphrodisiac Martini! We will be back!

OMG was my dinner amazing! Came for my birthday dinner and was extremely pleased! Bang Bang Shrimp is a must get! I had the Chilean Sea Bass, date had the steak and crab cakes. Everything was amazing! Great place for a date, nice atmosphere, great service, amazing food! Dinner for 2 was about $70 with a drink each, and an appetizer.

Seated immediately at our appointed reservation of 5:30PM, we were greeted by our sever Sarah who was very friendly and attentive. She explained the Tuesday specials. We ordered cocktails and wine to start as well as their special Bang Bang Shrimp. Delicious. All three of us selected the cold water lobster. We started with a great bid green salad. Very nice and crispy. The succulent lobster was accompanied by mixed vegetables and potato croquettes. All wonderful. We finished the meal with a wonderful coconut pie. Everything was well prepared and served at the perfect temperature. One of my favorite restaurants.

Where to start.... I had the red wine sangria try it. It's probably the best sangria I have had, bang bang shrimp as an appetizer yummmm, complementary bread with pesto and olive oil, and our entrées. My boyfriend ordered the filet mignon. Which had a wonderful favor. I ordered the tilapia imperial so good! I was so impressed to see that the manager walks around and thanks people who are celebrating their birthday with the restaurant. Which we were celebrating my boyfriends. Our waitress Haley was perfect. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the seating arrangement. It's a tad bit crowded. Hopefully they will be able to rearrange that before we go again. Great restaurant I will come back again.

I used to eat at Bonefish quite regularly but had stopped several years ago. Just recently I went back to Bonefish at this location. I'm not sure if it's all Bonefish restaurants or just this one but my meal was terrible. My over cooked and dry fish came out all broken up as if someone had torn it or dropped it. It was thrown on the plate with no care along with oily sugar snap peas and cold salty mashed potatoes. My water glass looked dirty even with the very dim lighting. I will not be going back, ever.... I struggled for two days after with an upset stomach. I can't say with 100% certainty it was the food from Bonefish but I have my suspicions.

  • Mark M.

First time here, went on a weekday with reservation. Not too crowded - probably fine without reservation. Food was good, especially seared tuna. Had to ask several times for a water, but other than that service was decent and food good.

Great bang bang shrimp! Other food is good. It's a chain but all in all a good place for reasonable dinner. Also try their raspberry Collins. Great drink.

Normally I don't offer a critique on dining. The food and services was excellent, but I knocked it one star because their design to over pack the number of tables. That will probably kill any chances of my return. The should take a lesson fro Seasons 52.

  • Jon G.

We've been to Bonefish several times and generally been satisfied. This last time was a disappointment. We started with mussels which were small and not very flavorful. I had a tuna special with goat cheese and artichoke hearts (supposedly). I asked for the tuna medium rare. Similar to beef, medium rare evidently means red (uncooked in the center). This wasn't so bad, but the tuna was barely warm and was actually overwhelmed by the cool/cold cheese on top, The description should have said with artichoke HEART, not hearts because there was one chinsy artichoke heart quarter on top, again cool, like just taken out of the can. The waiter, who was a bit smarmy to begin with, did one of my pet peeves. He asked, "Is everything tasting fantastic?" as if he didn't really care if the answer was anything otherwise. When I mentioned this to the manager, he didn't seem to care either and didn't really care to wait for an answer to how the food really was. So, if you want a place that's a bit overpriced for what you get, has variable quality food, and tries to be a bit more than it really is, this is your place. I'll probably go back but not for a while, and I won't have very high expectations.

For a chain in the thick of the burbs, Bonefish wasn't so bad. I will say that the service was a bit over the top. Super phony. I heard our server telling the table behind us he was there to meet all their needs. I don't know, it seems like a chain thing, but the super big smiles and "it's my pleasure" was a bit too much for me. Just be real. The food was alright. We ordered the signature bang bang shrimp to start. The portion was huge, it could have been a meal. The flavor was good, a subtle spice, but there was way too much sauce. I had a feeling after I ordered I should have requested the sauce on the side. The entrees are interesting. There is a list of a few fishes, and shellfish that they grill then you choose a sauce. I was hoping for more varitey. I went with Chilean sea bass with the mango salsa and lemon butter. The mango salsa was good but I prefered the lemon butter. The texture of the fish was good. My husband had a pork chop. All in all it wasn't a bad dinner, glad it was a gift card. I don't know if I would have enjoyed spending that much of my own money!

What good is it to have to make reservations if I call a week in advance to make reservations for Saturday night at 7 p.m. for a party of eight just to be told you cannot accommodate us because Saturdays are too busy of a night . I'll give you guys one star because I heard your food is good but you guys drop the ball because we never got the chance to experience for myself

Bang bang shrimp is amazing!! I have also had Lily's Chicken and the Tilapia Imperial. They are both delicious, and I absolutely recommend them! I have never been disappointed! Service has always been professional. It can get busy, but reservations are always an option!

Went to dinner tonight with the family We spat at the bar for appetizer and drinks we had the muscles and bam bam shrimp The muscles great not a big fan of the bam bam shrimp The wine glass came out of the bar sticky that was kind of surprising that the bartender did not check to see if the glass is clean or not Service was good at the bar then we get our table we had our soups and salads more wine this time glasses were clean. Ordered the fish on special came a little over cooked dry and the feta cheese was really strong for that dish it was served with garbanzo which they were very dry too I had to order something else on the vegetable Side Server did not ask how was the fish or nothing , the corn chowder was good Popcorn shrimp was good , we ordered macadamian brownie for dessert That was dry too good thing it has ice cream and whip cream Was disappointed with the entree overall

We have been to this location many times. In the past we have been satisfied with the staff and the food. During our last visit for my birthday we decided to go to Bonefish for dinner. The menu had changed and the main dish was not what we were expecting at all. Normally, they introduce new items and they are usually delicious. I ordered the shrimp and scallops and they served it in a bowl with potatoe, tomato and onions.....gross.....I didn't expect a bowl of soup as my main dish. I am not sure if the owners, cook or management changed. Such a disappointment. We did not complain we just paid and never went back. We had a party of 4 and only 1 was satisfied with their order. The staff seem distracted with socializing not attending to the tables. I hope they change their menu and not RELY on their appetizers and happy hour to generate the revenue for this establishment. Definitely overpriced for the quality. Portions are SMALL and no longer worth tasting.

I can only give them a 3-star because of bones in my fish in a past visit, but also because of their refusal to change their ordering process. BE CAREFUL -- side salads are never included in the meal. They always ask you if you would like a side salad, but ALWAYS (I'm guessing by company rule) fail to tell you that it costs a bit extra. We learned this the hard way the first time visiting. I thought, oh nice, why yes of course I would like a nice little side salad!! Get the bill --- charged for a salad?! wtf? Yep not included. I hate that so much. Don't freaking nickel and dime me at a nice restaurant. This last visit we had a fairly good experience, but were keen to remember that salad are not included. Definitely get the Bang Bang shrimp appetizer. It probably our favorite part of visiting. They are just so dang good. Overall, my salmon was good this last time. Unfortunately for me, we had cooked some of our own salmon earlier in the week and the home-cooked stuff was just so much better seasoned and just better overall. I think in the future, if I'm craving fish, I'll cook it up myself. Oh well. BFG isn't too bad, just can't stand that damn salad scam they run. I'd be ok with it if they just were required to mention that it cost a little extra.

This was my first time at Bonefish. I was there for a work happy hour. We only had the appetizers and I ate the infamous Bang Bang shrimp along with the Ceviche which were both pretty yummy. The Ceviche is their own version and not what you would get at Mexican or South American restaurants, but I enjoyed it. They served it in a very cool ice bowl with huge shrimp and scallops. The bartender was excellent and the bar was very clean. I'd definitely return and try other things in the future.

I ate at bonefish grill recently and was actually very happy with the service and the food. I ordered the calamari for an app, it was slightly chewy but still very good. For my dinner I ordered a fillet mignon med-well. It ended up coming out rare but I ate it all anyways. I really loved it. My margarita went great with dinner it defiantly had enough tequila. :) the desert menu came and I knew I was pushing it but I had to try cream brûlée for the first time, it was amazing...

It's been 11 days since I posted my review on the Bonefish Grill. To this day I've not been contacted by anyone with this chain. I base my 1 star rating on lack of customer care. This is a dissapointment as most resturants monitor this site as well as others. Again, avoid the Fish and Chips... TERRIBLE.

We had a girls night out last night and it was the first time for many of us that showed up. Our table was for 10 and it was ready when we all got there around 4:30. The atmosphere was comfortable, not too loud, or bright. The staff was always there when we needed them and not hovering over us when we didn't. Our favorite: The Bang-Bang Shrimp. I'm going to just have 5 of those next time. Love it! Oh.. and the once a year dark chocolate creme brulee... PERFECT! Slightly bitter from the dark chocolate and smooth.

This place was super yummy and our waitress was very attentive and friendly... Although I think she may have been on drugs. It is a fancy restaurant, I feel like we were under-dressed(especially my friend....). I had the lobster tail, mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had. I probably would have never tried this place if I didn't have a gift card. Would maybe come again.

Had lunch with my daughter a few weeks back.. We both tried the clam chowder which was good. I had fish & chips and it was okay. My daughter had a steak and shrimp dish special. It was also good, not great. Would go back at dinner to try additional items. A bit pricey for the small amount of food.

HORRIBLE service!! We were about the only people in the restaurant at the time. The server was more concerned about her friends that were there. I don't eat seafood (my boyfriend does) and asked if it was possible to make a simple substitution and was told no. I will never go back

I do not recommend national chain restaurants often, but this is my most favorite seafood chain in the USA! Since this is a chain restaurant and therefore I don't expect as much usually, I'm close to giving this place a 5 star. A little history about this place and me. Both are from St. Pete Beach, FLA and both have upbringings from the Chesapeake Bay. I've eaten at a Bonefish Grill in four different states now and just happened to eat at this location the very first night they were ever open for business! If you are a local on the Gulf side of Florida, then you know that the most popular local fish there is the Grouper and at one time all the Bonefish Grills had Grouper daily on their menus, but now because of fishing moratoriums they only serve it when it is available locally in the Gulf. They wood fire grill all the seafood items that they can and their grilled fish is one of their specialities. Each day they have a list of fresh fish selections that you can have grilled and served with one of their four regular sauces. You usually can not go wrong with one of these. As a kid I spent every summer on the Eastern Shores of Maryland and fell in love with the local seafood there. Blue crabs, rock fish, shad roe, oyster stew and Old Bay were all things I learned about early on. One of my early food memories was my father, brother, grandfather, uncle and I crabbing with these small net baskets on broom handles. In one afternoon we got four bushel baskets of hard crabs and one basket full of soft shells. I have loved soft shell crabs ever since! Getting fresh soft shell crabs anywhere but around the Chesapeake is difficult, but once a year the Bonefish Grill has a fresh soft shell crab special during the season. They know what they are doing when it comes to soft shell crabs! Last Sunday, June 8th I went back to this location for the second time in ten days for this special! They take a fresh flown in from the Chesapeake jumbo soft shell crab and sauté it just right. Then they place one of their Maryland style crab cakes right in the center of the soft shell crab and serve it with a lemon caper butter sauce. Outstanding! Only $18.99. Now a soft shell crab is a blue crab that is going through it molting stage, having shed its' previous shell in order to grow another larger shell. At this point of the crab's life you can just dress (clean) the crab, cook and eat the entire thing! This is quite unique and not like eating any other form of crab you might know! As for their crab cakes, if you know and love Maryland style crab cakes, I do not know of any national chain that does them better than here! Usually when I am with someone here, I will try to get them to split the crab cake appetizer with me. Two nice sized all lump meat crab cakes for $12.00! If you know crab cakes, this is a fair deal indeed! Another speciality of theirs that I really like is their Maryland style corn crab chowder. Look at the small print next to the side items on the left side column of the menu. You can add a cup of the chowder to your entree for only $3.20. As for their other sides, they have a nice selection. When you first order they bring out fresh baked sourdough bread and a pesto in olive oil mix to play with. You can add a small salad for around $3.00 more. You can play around with the veggies sides and upgrade. Sunday night I had their bacon wrapped scallop appetizer as well. Five medium sized fire flamed scallops surrounding a mound of salad and mango chutney. That was very good! It was $10.99, which I think is fair. The seafood I mostly know is from the Tampa Bay and Chesapeake Bay areas. Not fried for the most part, especially the fish. As much as possible over fire or smoke, or in a sauté pan or steamed. So those are the selections I stick with at the Bonefish Grill and so far I have not gone wrong! Not with the food. But they have made some changes in the chain since I first started to go back in 2007 down South. When I first was going to the Greenwood Village location the main dining area was laid out much differently were it seated quite a few LESS people! They had the large booths along all the walls and less tables in the middle. It was far more comfortable in there! A couple Valentine Days ago Shiela and I went there and they added even more tables than they usually have in there now and pulled a curtain across the room to cut it in half basically. It was very odd and I literally had someone's elbow hitting me several times through the curtain! I called the next day and complained about it and we were comp'd another meal. Hopefully they never did that again. When I was in there two weeks ago, the lighting was such I could barely read the menu. I hate that. They call it atmosphere. I want to see the menu and my food. Last Sunday it was not all that busy and I was by myself. They sat me beside two other tables of people where I was close enough to touch them all. More reasons why not 5 star.

Great atmosphere, great service, appetizers were OK. The entrees were BAD. They suggested "lily chicken" terrible. Bread was good. Wife had sirloion steak. She said Chilis steak was better. Might try again but ust have appetizers.

Went here for a belated birthday dinner, and was met with a crowded front section full of waiting patrons. I had entered a reservation online (very easy), so I didn't think much of it. We waited 15 minutes for a table, and heard others griping about having to wait despite making reservations too. It was prime dinner hours, which may explain the wait. Part way through our dinner, one of the managers came to the table to apologize for the wait, which was really nice. Besides that, the service we experienced table-side left something to be desired. We received our bang bang shrimp (which was delicious, and was a good sized appetizer), but we were never provided appetizer plates to use, despite being told we would receive some. Then our soup came out, but in the incorrect size. They were able to get us an additional cup of soup to make up for it. And last, we were offered some bread. Shouldn't this have been brought out first? Though we'll add that the olive oil and pesto was pretty tasty. We received our main entree, but noticed the beverage we ordered still had not arrived. We had reminded our server, but it took 2 additional trips to our table before the drink was served. By then, we nearly completed our entree. The entree was not good, very salty. We ordered the salmon with gorgonzola special, and the entire (sides included) was riddled with salt. To boost, the outside of my fish was a tad burnt, and part of the inside was not cooked thoroughly (I suppose I could have eaten it, but I didn't come here for sushi/raw fish). If I were to come again, or order take out, sticking with the appetizers would suffice.

Its been a couple months since my one and only visit to this spot, but I do plan to go back. From what I can remember, the service was pretty good, not great. They had a kid's menu, which helped since I had my 9 year old with me. The pricing was on point in my opinion. I didnt feel like I was being abused, and that is important to me. I ordered the Rib Eye steak with truffle butter. I am normally a filet mignon guy, but I figured. new spot, new dish. I have to tell you, it was a great steak. And the added flavor from the butter put it over the top. Again, I am used to filets when I go to nice steak places, so a ribeye is bigger, has more fat and more flavor. So it could have been that I am simply not used to how flavorful the cut is...... but either way, they did it well. In fact, I will be trying the ribeye at other places, just so I can have a fair comparison. So that's why I am going with a 4 rating instead of a 5, my lack of data to compare it to. Based on this dish, I plan to come back. Most likely, it will be the only thing I order anytime I return.

Not impressed. Dining room was uncomfortably warm. My husband order the King crab special that was listed in the menu as "lazy man" style; however, the crab legs were served uncut and we had to send them back. Not the freshest tasting crab either. The potato side overly salty to the point of being inedible. My sirloin and scampi was also aggressively salty. Yuck! The blackberry sangria was good though as was the bread but we won't be back.

Ok, I need to start by saying we go out to eat quite a bit and I don't like chains - very rarely do we go to a chain - but we had a gift card to spend and you know how that goes. I was very pleasantly surprised by everything - ambiance, decor, menu, quality and service. It was all lovely.....bread and dipping oil was so so good, my wood fired shrimp and scallops were cooked perfectly and the mango salsa was so good....hubs ordered ahi tuna and he loved it...wee one wanted Mac and cheese and green beans and it was a Real cheese sauce (pretty tasty too IMO)...coconut pie was fine but nothing as special as the rest of it. The prices were reasonable to begin with and with the gift card even better. Our server Maria was great - full of great info, recs, personal experiences and very attentive. Even though I probably wouldn't have tried Bonefish without the gift card, we will definitely go back in the future. A great night!
