I have to say that I'm quite surprised by the negative reviews in here. I have been to this location as well as the Loveland and Ft. Collins locations and have never been disappointed. The tomatillo sauce is amazing and the food is great! I have a very sensitive stomach and have never gotten sick off the food. This is not amercan-ized food, its authentic and wonderful. I would recommend it to almost everyone.

The chips were warm, which is always a nice thing. The salsa is that dark red chili - soupy style which is okay for spicyness but always flows off the chips. For the price, it wasn't all that bad. It's a small little resturant and the staff seems very nice. I did one of those combo platters (burrito, enchalada, etc...). I think to give a better review, I will have to see how a single burrito with the works holds up.

This is a very good little Mexican restaurant. There is a nice selection of very good food and I always enjoy my meal there. Excellent chips and salsa too. Margaritas are just average which is my only complaint.

Another awful 'Mexican' place in Greeley (Ft. Collins, and Loveland). I am surprised at how terrible this place is for having actual Mexican owners. The family is friendly, the wait staff is fine, but I am disgusted by everything they plate. Their so-called 'Avocado Salad' was a bed of iceberg lettuce with a dollop of guacamole on top. It was a miserable experience. I have never seen a Mexican family eat here, so that tells you a little something. It is awful. Like Farmer's Inn, but worse, if imaginable.

I got food poisoning here in May. Has nothing toFB do with type of stomach or lack of knowledge of authentic food and everything to do with bacteria . I reported this 2 weld county and their inspection turned up 5 critical violations. 5 CRITICAL. One being storing raw meat at 64 degrees. The follow up found 3 critical..AGAIN storing raw meat way above temp.....theses 3 were also of the five and the next follow up found 1 critical...ants everywhere and raw beef and chicken left out at room temp to thaw This is all public record so maybe before you attempt to insinuate that a concerned citizens warning others about a potential serious issues just don't know real Mexican food you may want to actual check some facts.

This little family run Mexican Rest. has become my favorite in Greeley. I have had many items from the large menu and all have been good to excellent. The Margs. are great and cheap, as is the guac. The place is a bit small and plainly decorated but the food is an excellent value, large portions and very flavorful. The young family staff members do a great serving guest and keeping drinks and chips refilled. This Resturant also offers text deals a few times per week of specials and features. Just sign up and you get 10% off your first complete ticket. Hard to find better.

We stopped because we would come here with my dad but I think it's under new management. I disliked everything about the food from the salsa to the carnitas. If I don't puke I think it will give me the shits.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
