What a wonderful surprise! This unassuming café may be small in size (tiny, actually!) but the delicious food they serve is larger than life in flavor. . After our fantastic breakfast, we ordered coffees and baked goods 'to go' for later in the day as we continued on with our travels. The blondes, brownies and banana chocolate bundt cake were delicious! We will make a point to stop at the Blue Sky Café on our way through town.

Flavorful angus beef! Bunless beef was so good a bun wasn't needed. Cute and surprisingly fresh! All good!

Awesome food. My husband and I both had the Denver Omelet. It was delicious. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was amazing. Coffee cup was never empty. Eat here and you will not regret it!!!!

Stopped in to Georgetown for a day trip. And this little gem was calling. The staff are so friendly. Its a quaint little cafe with outdoor seating. We both ordered the bison burger. My side was cole slaw and it was traditional but it was delicious. My companion had fries and they were fresh and delicious. Only hiccup was they gave our food to another party by accident. And my burger was more on the medium side than the well side but still delicious. I will be back again. Check out the specials board.

We were in Georgetown this weekend and chose this place because it was conveniently located, but were very impressed! The staff was very pleasant. The food was delicious and fresh. It's very small, but well worth it! I did not think it was overpriced, especially considering it's a tourist town. The older reviews have negatives such as a small menu, but this has changed. Lunch had choices of several different burgers, hot and cold sandwiches and salads. Sides were coleslaw, chips or fries. I would definitely go back.

I'm currently on vacation in Georgetown, Denver so I decided to try a few local spots. Blue Sky Cafe was very close to the house we're staying in in the mountains so that is very convenient. The vibe is super cozy and warm. The server was overly friendly and we enjoyed our time very much. As far as the food, it was mediocre. I had a beef angus burger and fries. It looked amazing but I bit in to find it was definitely a boxed hamburger. The fries were good, comparable to Steak 'n Shake, and the sweet tea was the best I've ever had. Blue sky is definitely worth stopping in to warm up this ski season. But I don't recommend the burgers.

Would love to say something about the food but we were welcomed with such prejudice for bringing in our 5 & 2 yr old, that we left. A lady who looked to be the owner/manager was rude to us from the beginning. While my wife and oldest were in the bathroom, she snatched two sets of silverware back. When I told her I had two more people joining us she said, "I KNOW how many you're with." When I came back from my trip to the bathroom, my wife told me the same woman told my oldest he needed to sit down. As we got up to leave, my wife told the woman she was rude and our kids were merely 5 & 2. To which she told us we "need to do better." She's lucky I didn't burn her place down.

Staff seemed a little scattered, it was Memorial day however. My wife and I had breakfast here and we enjoyed it. They had two specials offered and we got both of them. Nothing too fancy but it hit the spot.

This place looks like nothing on the outside but it is really home cooked food. Mushroom omelet was enough for two. Good coffee and super super friendly staff.

Food - 5 stars Service - 5 stars This place is amazing. A little hole-in-the-wallish, but that's just how I like it! On my way to Steamboat Springs for a ski trip we stopped here for a nice brunch after driving all night. I ordered the steak and eggs, and subbed the potatoes for fried tomatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection! Came out for $12 and gave a $3 tip for our extremely kind waitress

Nice place to stop in Georgetown when you just want a simple meal. Very clean, pleasant with the door open and sunshine streaming in! Uncluttered menu with veggie options and local favorites.

Had a really delicious grilled cheese which wasn't even on the menu, made especially for us. The service is very nice and the location is cosy with gorgeous mountain views right outside.

Had breakfast here this morning. the place is tiny, but cute. Quality of the food was good and they have wi-fi for their guests. They don't have decaf coffee though which was strange for a breakfast/brunch place. I had the standard eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast. They brought out my food and the waitress told me that she was having them make me more toast because the piece she brought was small. The bacon was crispy and not too greasy. Toast came buttered and delicious, but if you are trying to eat healthy you may want to ask for it dry. It was served with what I think was a homemade jelly which was great as well. I definitely recommend this place.

This place doesn't look like it'd have great food at first glance, but wow. Soooo good. If you're there for breakfast get the corned beef hash it's amazing! Very nice service too.

Surprised at how small it was once we walked in. But more than made up for size in quality of food. Had corned beef hash, breakfast burrito and caramel French toast. And probably the best caramel latte ever. Delicious blackberry cobbler too! Served in a cup for the road!

Stopped by again in March, the food is fantastic, a real nice place to grab breakfast or lunch. Try it, it is worth the drive.

The Blue Sky cafe is an absolute gem of a restaurant just off the highway. We pulled because the name of the city matched our alma mater Georgetown, and were amazed by the hospitality, cuisine, ambiance and speed of service at BlueSky. We stopped in for breakfast and enjoyed a breakfast wrap and bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I highly recommend both dishes. I imagine this quaint destination just off the freeway will be getting many more positive reviews. Three cheers for Blue Sky! Enjoy this top notch restaurant, and all else that accompanies it!

We stopped in this cafe to get some lunch after an arduous hike, so we starving! This place is hugely over-priced and the food is mediocre. The lunch menu only had a handful of items meaning 5 or 6. I had the Angus burger because it seemed to be the most filling item. They have a daily special and soup of the day. This day the soup was French Onion and the special was Bratwurst & Sauerkraut. My burger was tasty and cooked to order, medium, on a Brioche roll. My husband had the special and was served one Brat on a hot-dog bun with sauerkraut on top for $8.75. My burger was $9.50 (extra chge for cheese) and your choice of side is cole slaw or chips (no fries or salad). A BLT was $8.00! The other few items I think were sandwich/salad type items. I ordered the blueberry-peach cobbler to go which sounded good. She asked if I wanted it heated and I said no. I went to wash up and came back to the table to find a to-go coffee cup with a lid and wondered where my cobbler was. I looked in the coffee cup....surely not....yep, there was the cobbler all stuffed into the cup. The blueberries in it looked like the dried ones you find in muffin mixes and the peaches tasted watered down and had no flavor. There was no crust of any sort, but rather some white clumps that tasted like some kind of flour paste (yes, I did taste it despite it being horribly unappetizining to look at). Blech! I could have just looked at it and said "Pass" but I took 2 small bites of it....and as I suspected, it was awful. I threw it out. Save your money and go someplace else!
