Absolutely average. I have had better Chinese in a mall. The food was bland and the dumpings were from the freezer not home made. I would try some place else.

I love this place. My boyfriend an I are locals in the county and this is our go to Chinese place. We eat here probably one or two times a month. The crab cheese wontons are the best we get them every time, and we always order of the chef specials they are always really good. Our two fave are the hot burned pork and the Hunan beef. The fried rice is pretty good too. The staff is always really nice.

This place, an itty bitty little restaurant in a strip mall between Safeway and Walmart, has the best kung pao tofu and szechuan tofu we've found since we moved to Colorado (Denver, Fraser, and Frisco)! Coming from NYC, Philly, and DC, we have high standards when it comes to Chinese food. This little restaurant has all the usual Chinese fare for meat-eaters (which we can't speak to), and a small veggie menu. But they're open 7 days a week, they're quick and efficient, they're relatively cheap, they serve some token alcohol, and they have phenomenal tofu. What more could a vegetarian ask for?? Well, vegetarian (not the usual pork) dumplings would've gotten them 5 stars!! :) Regardless, we'll be back, likely every week.

The positive is there was no sketchy meat. The chicken was 100% white meat, and I am racist when it comes to chinese food chicken..white meat only. Pretty bad fried rice, and most everything else. Don't worry if you pass this one up. Don't worry if you stumble in by accident. Its not bad. Its not good.

Healthily prepared dishes. Fresh veggies. Portions not as big as most Chinese restaurants, but good food. No msg. Plenty of vegan options. Nice staff.

This was easily the best Chinese food I have eaten in CO. Being originally from the east coast I know my Chinese food and have eaten plenty of it, both good and bad. My brother and I stopped here after driving up to Breckinridge and down Main St. in Frisco. Nearly every other place was closed on a Friday night at 9 pm, except for a few fast food places. They closed at 10 and we sat down at about 9:30, we were the last customers of the night. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As soon as we sat down, a waiter brought us a pot of hot tea, and a pitcher of ice water. We ordered: Wonton soup, B- Fried dumplings, A Crab Rangoon, A Egg rolls, B Sesame chicken, A The wonton soup was very good, however we only got one wonton each which is why I gave it a lower grade. Most of the apps we got were fried but they were not at all greasy or oily, but rather light tasting and very crispy. The sesame chicken was awesome and big portions. It came with white rice, and every time the waitress came by she politely offered us more.

Worst Chinese food ever!!! Threw all of it in the trash!

Awful food. Generally, there is a problem when beef tastes like chicken - both totally flavorless. It's worth the drive to Dillon.

decent chinese, decent price. Got take-out, but no forks, plates, napkins. Sweet n sour pork and chicken lo mein were both good eats.

Decent food, but poor service. They were running around like they were busy, but they really weren't. Only a few tables with people. I'm not in Frisco very often, so not sure if it's always like this.

I had Shrimp Szechuan an egg roll and egg drop soup. Really spicy and authentic. They have the really good spicy mustard that some chinese places skimp on. Only problem is the small portion size and a bit too much celery and i am not a huge fan of celery..

Service started off good. Picked up finished plates right away. Then all of a sudden they stopped coming around. Not very friendly service. We wanted to ordered another dish but they took too long to come see if we wanted anything else. The only reason they're getting two stars is because the food was pretty good.

Delicious hot and sour soup! It had fresh mushrooms in it and a nice amount of spicy. The sesame chicken was tasty. It had a tempura-style breaking which isn't my thing, but the flavor was good. I haven't eaten the other dish I ordered yet, but it smelled good. I ordered pick up, and it was ready within 10 minutes. It was still piping hot when I got home.

Wow! This place hit the spot on a chilly Friday night. We were craving Chinese, and the Chinese restaurants in Silverthorne are pretty sub-par these days so we scooted over here as it had been years since any of us had dined here. Unassuming location in a strip mall, basic, though looked pretty clean, interior, and some staff to lack some personality, but all in all this was a great meal! We started with hot tea and some apps including my standard for ranking Chinese food: crab cheese wontons. The wontons were delicious with flavorful filling and thin wonton shells. We also had steamed shrimp dumplings, which were quite tasty as well. Then, we moved onto soup, which everyone enjoyed though I'll say they were nothing special. For entrees we ran the gamut from veggie fried rice, beef dishes, and combination lo mein- everything was delicious and a perfect size for single person eating. The fried rice was light, and not overly oily. The meats were plentiful and good quality. Most entrees could have been dinner, plus lunch the next day, but I was hungry so I ate all my entree and still didn't feel overly stuffed. Ordered the beef skewers off the app menu for the kids and they loved them! A few of us adults snagged a few bites, and they were tender and tasty! The server assigned to our table had zero personality, but the rest of the wait staff that would check in on us, fill water glasses, etc more than made up for his apathy toward his job. He was polite and efficient, but it ended there. The rest of the staff was friendly and engaging, and everyone did a great job keeping things flowing. This place was pretty full by the time we left about 7pm on a Friday, whereas a few store fronts down the Mexican place was standing room only of people waiting to even be seated. If you find yourself in this strip center looking for dinner, definitely know that the Chinese here is totally worth skipping the wait at the Mexican joint. China Szechuan is now officially my go-to Chinese restaurant in Summit County!

So, let me start by saying this used to be my favorite place in all of Summit County. I have been away for a bit, and of course they changed things while I was gone. My favorite dish was curried chicken. It used to be amazing. Not so much any more. They cut the chicken thinner. The portion seems smaller. (It might not be???) The carrots are now chopped thick, almost too thick. I asked for extra extra spicy...its a bit on the bland side compared to what it used to be. Isnt that always the way, you find a geat place...and they go and change it. :(

The food was pretty damn good. Service decent. I think the only part that was or is rediculous is where you are only allowed one free refill. Really? I got the water because I'm a cheap bastard. :-)

We were staying across the street and found this place accidentally - we're glad we did. The food was also very good. The Szechwan pork was good, so was the tofu. The hot plate noodle dish (I can't remember the name of the dish) was also a hit! We enjoyed everything! The service was also great. When our soups arrived and two members of our party had left to get something at Safeway, the waitress offered to remove their bowls of soup and serve them when they got back so the soup would be hot. And without us even asking!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
