This little ice cream shop is nestled in a shopping complex. We decided to come in on Wednesday and were welcomed with $1.00 scoop Wednesdays! although their ice cream is good I tend to like my ice cream a little more creamy, but you can't beat the Wednesday deal and the shop is nice and cozy. Overall a 4 stars from me, no complaints and would enjoy going back again.

Each time I visit the scoops get smaller and smaller. Love the ice cream good quality but horrible value for your money even on 1 dollar scoop day. Young employees need help with customer service. also never have waffle cones and always out of flavors

All the flavors I tried were pretty tasty.. I ended up getting the marshmallow krispie treats with the rocky road and butter pecan in a dipped waffle cone.. My husband ended up getting a cookie dough shake.. All were very tasty!! I just wish they would of had banana splits..

The ice cream ws fine. Just watch out if you use the drive thru. Our car is low to the ground and exiting is downhill with no marker of the end of the curb. Ruined our rims on it. Clearly our fault but they should mark it.

Seriously the most delicious ice cream I've ever had! Every flavor I tried was amazing so it was hard to choose, but I went with Butter Pecan & Birthday Cake. I also stole some of my girlfriend's Cinnamon Roll flavor. Amazing!

I've visited the centennial location a number of times because the ice cream is great and the drive thru is convenient. However, the last few of times I've been there we've Been flat out ignored by the employee as we sat at the drive thru window - she actually walked past us several times on one occasion and I had to knock on the window on another just to get her attention. It was the same employee both times. Too bad my husband was in the car because he's since decided we won't be going back.

Delicious! The gentleman working was really helpful and explained where everything was as well as where is was from. I got a scoop of rocky road and its texture was like a marshmallow itself. It was fantastic!

We actually tried this place out rather by accident. We chose an Asian restaurant nearby and wanted some dessert after so stopped by. Wow, what a great coincidence! The ice cream was amazing. Amazing to the point where I'm not sure I'll buy ice cream anywhere else...and this could be a problem since this place isn't especially close to my house! Their ice cream is incredibly rich so next time I will go with just one scoop (I tried two different flavors but could only finish about half of each scoop). Staff was friendly and awesome as well. Great little business. Seriously amazing.

The chocolate and the cupcake didn't taste good and it's expensive. I'm not happy with my experience here :\

Great ice cream in the DTC! I really enjoyed the chocolate malt. The ice cream is not quite as smooth as I like, but great flavor choices and cute storefront. Very friendly and quick service, too. Now I know where to go for midday ice cream cravings :)

Really friendly and helpful clerk. Good array of chocolates and other treats. Limited seating inside, but there's more outside. They even have a drive-thru too, LOL. Convenient location.

Although the service was nice, the ice cream was sub par. I tried a scoop of their cookie dough and a scoop of the cake batter. The flavors were okay but the texture of the ice cream was chewey and seemed freezer burnt. the cookie dough had only 2 small pieces of cookie dough and over all it was just dissapointing. The prices are pretty much normal and there is plenty of parking and even a drive through but I still don't think it was worth it.

My toddler has a peanut allergy and the staff was so helpful and accommodating--really appreciate it! By the way, the butter pecan is pure heaven!!

Visited this place on April 25th around 8pm. Was greeted when we walked in the door. I ordered a scoop of ice cream which was delicious and a coconut latte.. I must say this was the best latte I have had in a while. My boyfriend ordered their sorbet and seemed to be pleased with it as well. We are not in the area very often, but next time we are we will be visiting again!

I always get ice cream after a summit, so after summiting Bierstadt, it made sense to visit an ice cream shop named Maroon Bells. Based on their website, I was expecting something a little more sophisticated. The gelato flavors were highly pigmented in their flavor's color - the pistachio was a bright, bright green with no pistachio pieces. I ended up getting dark chocolate and coconut gelato, and both were good. I would not, however, go back.

We went here twice in the last couple of months because I purchased 2 $10 Living Social deals. My husband ordered the 2 scoops of ice cream in a cup which he liked. With the balance, I ordered 3 pieces of chocolate. The chocolate is over priced. They are difficult to find in the strip mall. The service was friendly. We probably won't be back.

We have gone to Maroon Bells many times now, and we have always been satisfied. The prices are reasonable. The chocolates are good. The ice cream, though, is a different story. The most awesomely flavorful and delicious there is. Eat at Maroon Bells!!!

I was disappointed that they didn't offer many cupcake choices, but there was a wide variety of chocolates and truffles to choose from. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the cashier was really patient with us as we sampled the various flavors. We enjoyed the ice cream outside on their patio and saved the chocolates for later.

OMG - a scoop of creamy, delish ice cream for a buck? I wish I did not know that you exist - a buck a scoop Wednesday! Curse you. We had the: strawberry, cappuccino, chocolate and butter pecan (there were 4 of us) and did not even have to pay extra for a big waffle cone - all for a dollar!!! I repeat 1 dollar. The sprinkles on top? They have a drive-through window!

Stopped here for dessert and had a pleasant experience. My boyfriend ordered ice cream which he really liked and I got a couple truffles. Nice little spot for a post-dinner treat.

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of sweets and desserts. I'd rather have a bag of chips than a piece of cake or a bowl of ice cream. That being said, Maroon Bells is one exception to that statement. Their signature Maroon Bells flavor is easily the creamiest, most flavorful scoop I have ever had. And it doesn't come across as being overly rich. I also highly recommend the cookie dough, mint chocolate chip, and cake batter flavors. Sadly, since I have been on a gluten free diet, I cannot have their ice cream. Most of their ice creams contain flour or actual cake batter, which is part of why it is so delicious. However, the sorbet is gluten free and is also delicious. Enjoy.

We just moved here and one of the first things on our list of things to do was find an ice cream place to satisfy my husband's cravings. We have made a routine out of coming every Wednesday for Dollar Scoop Wednesdays. You can't beat 2 scoops in a waffle cone for $2.50! I always say I am going to get other flavors, but I just love Brownie Batter and Rocky Road too much not to get those. The staff is always cheerful and very helpful. They have our loyalty as long as they stick with Dollar Scoop Wednesday :)

This is my first time and I already hearted this place! It's inexpensive, delicious, and have great customer service. I ordered some cappuccino & english toffee ice scream and IT IS DELICIOUS! They have a wide range of truffles in all kind of flavors. I will definitely come back for more sweet treat

The ice cream is strong, but their signage/rules are annoying. I am going in with a 2.5 year old. First thing I see is these stupid signs next to suckers (of all things). PARENTS WATCH YOUR KIDS - THEY BREAK YOU BUY. Okay #11 - i've been in many ice cream stores, no one writes this crap okay #2 - its not enforceable. Do the search yourself. No store can make you pay for accidental breakage unless there was pure negligence or it was purposeful. . So I really don't appreciate the stupid sign. Its not that i'm afraid I will break something and force to pay for it (that won't happen). Its that they are so worried about breaking suckers or fudge that the put a un-enforceable sign on the counter to use so that some teenager can badger a hands full parent. So i'm giving them a pretty negative review do to this non-family oriented unilateral un-enforecable signage that just really annoys me. For suckers. . whatever. UPDATE: They emailed me and said they were taking down the sign. They got the fact that its not legally enforceable + bad service. Their ice cream is strong and flavorful. So I would go back . . .upgraded to 4 stars.

I have to say I have pretty discerning taste when it comes to ice cream. I know some would say ice cream is like pizza and there is no such thing as a bad scoop, but i firmly disagree (to both the ice cream and pizza statement). So after dinner one hot spring day I was getting the shakes for some quality ice cream, being out of my normal home base area I stumbled across Maroon Bells. The flavor choices were right up my alley, chocolate this... coffee that. So off to a nice start, when I finally settled on coffee oreo and a chocolate peanut butter I was pleasantly surprised with the texture, very smooth. The only drawback was it being too creamy masking some of the flavor. Definitely visit again when I'm in the tech center.

Best ice cream we have tried in the state. Wednesday is $1/scoops. Perfect for our family.

This place has the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had, I recommend the Maroon Bells flavor if you're having difficulty deciding. They also have excellent coffee and a wide assortment of gourmet chocolates to choose from. Highly recommended!

Having worked at the defunct Southlands location, I once-or-twice had to make ice cream at this store. The back is cramped, parts of the outside of the ice cream machine had never been washed before ("Oh, uh, I didn't even know you could take that part off to wash it") and many things in the walk-in cooler didn't have lids. I also occasionally found bits of peanuts or walnuts or oreos in flavors that were not supposed to have them. Once upon a time, Maroon Bells used to rock. They were doing $1 scoop Wednesdays, occasionally the deal ran on Saturdays. They also had free kids cones for a school promotion in the Aurora area. I went in to the store a couple months ago, expecting the awesome deals and was absolutely devastated at how much the prices have changed. *ALL of the prices have gone up: from the ice cream, to the coffee, even the chocolates. And the chocolates.... there used to be awesome stuff, like kahlua and amaretto meltaways, and an assortment of truffles. All of this was apparently too good for their customers, and is sadly no more. The good days are gone. Now, I will say this for the ice cream - having made it over and over again, it's good stuff! It's rich, creamy, and made with real ingredients including cake mix. They are very good about using clean scoopers from a flavor in the back for anyone with an allergy. Also, there is totally a drive-thru. So if you're looking for a tasty treat, this is still a good place to stop by. It's just not what it used to be...

Delicious homemade ice cream. Nice choices. Friendly service. I like having the new outside seating area on the drive-up side of the building even though it is basically surrounded by parking lot. I haven't tried the chocolate candies yet. Lots of truffles to choose from, but pricey.

The ice cream was decent, but I had the worst espresso I have ever tasted here. Definitely not worth the visit.

No more $1 scoop Wednesdays! T_T Valentine's Day chocolates are 75% off right now. I grabbed two boxes, and I had money left over for some truffles and almond bark. I love this place already!

Some of the best ice cream you can get! What's nice is they have a freezer with gallons of ice cream for you to buy and if they don't have it in the freezer they will scoop it up right from the case. The reason they lost a star is for service, they had high schoolers running the place and didn't seem to know what was going on. It took them 15 minutes to find a container to put the ice cream in for me to buy.

YUM. This ice cream is so delicious. Rich and creamy, thick and flavorful. Even though I'm not generally the biggest fan of ice cream, Maroon Bells is good enough that I can't imagine myself turning it down. I love the "Chocolate Bell Batter" and "Maroon Bells" flavors; the first tastes like rich chocolate cake batter and the second is a more subtle chocolate flavor, but I also like the coconut and strawberry. Honestly, everything looks good and I can never decide. It's also incredibly reasonable. $1.95 for 1 scoop, but they can do half scoops so you can get 2 flavors and really...the 1/2 scoops are huge. Go on Wednesday for $1 scoop night!
