Pros: Pad Thai is my go to dish. Always fresh and delicious. It's a bit off Main so it is usually not too busy. Have always had polite and helpful service. Cons: still use styrofoam for to go stuff. Also, it feels a bit like you're in an office building. Overall, definitely check this place out. I've never been to Thailand but I've had several friends tell me this place is very authentic!

Out of all the Thai and Asian places in town, this is one is the weakest. The only good thing I have to say about it is that I did not get food poisoning. The portions are small, and the curry dishes are watery. We tried the Massaman curry on our second visit. It was flavorless, watery, and overly spiced. I like a lot of spice, but there was so much spice the dish it had a sandy texture and was a hot punch in the mouth. The Pad Thai was also flavorless. The Tom Gha soup was OK, except that another Thai place in town does it much better. We actually poured the soup into the curry to make it edible. We decided to give this place a second try, and we were again disappointed. I won't make the same mistake for a third time.

I adore Thai food. Everywhere I go I have to find a good vegetable curry. If you feel the same, keep looking. I gave this place 3 tries, always take out. I ordered medium the first time and w the first bite my face went numb. My bf who likes hot thought it was too hot. I took it back. They shamed me for ordering med. if I don't like hot. Medium IS hot in Thai, they said. Their replacement had no spice. Not a drop. I was being punished. At least it was edible. So when I went back, I ordered mild. I got no spice AT ALL again. 3rd time, hoping I'd get a different chef, idk, I asked for mild. One bite and lip disintegrating hotness. So those are your choices, and really it's a game of chance: Flavorless or fire-breathing dragon. Not to mention watery, and terrible amts of the valuable vegetables we all hope for. Never again.

I came for the first time today and ordered green curry. My friend ordered Pad Thai. Both were so good we left with takeout menus. I ended up coming back and getting take out for dinner the same day! Great food and really friendly service.

Had the Pad Thai as takeaway once, and thought it good enough to eat lunch here. Pretty marginal, frankly - I certainly won't go back. We had the spring rolls (good) and a green chicken curry which was really basic. Too sweet, grizzled chicken, and I swear frozen vegetables (I might be wrong, but you get the gist).

First time to this little out of the way restaurant. I had the massaman curry and it was excellent. My only advice is that the "Thai Hot" level is VERY hot. Next time I'll drop it down a notch. Friendly waitstaff. Good service.

Never judge a restaurant by it's cover, or it's yelp reviews. I can't understand all the negative comments about this place. I frequent it, and it's wonderful. The best part is when I am ordering takeout. Whenever I call, my order is ready within 5 minutes. This is a stark difference to another popular Thai restaurant in town. I prefer their pad Thai. Spicy, consistent, and delicious. If it were only open on Sunday.

After one trip, we enjoyed this restaurant very much. The Pad Thai Noodles were perfectly crafted and had a delightfully sweet top note. The Yellow Curry had a great flavor and came in a huge portion. The quiet atmosphere and attentive service round out the experience nicely. This would be a great place to bring a date or potential client. One word of caution: the "medium heat" here is most people's "hot."

Nice Thai good in pleasant atmosphere. Just had dinner there (Pad Thai and Basil Shrimp with white rice). Considering the food scene in Durango, this was the best choice for Thai here in town. Would come here again!

Pros: The Panang Curry was quite good. A bit sweet, but it balanced nicely with the spicy flavor. Cons: Noodle Switcheroo... I asked the server for a noodle dish recommendation. He raved about the Basil Stir Fry with Fried Egg, saying it was "His favorite, and THE best noodle dish on the menu." Sounds great to me. But when it arrived, there were NO noodles. Zippo. None. Nada. It was served on a bed of plain white rice... How in the world do you mess that one up!?! I mean, this dish listed in the noodle section of the menu and the server "supposedly" had eaten it before and liked it. And, when picking up the order, didn't the server notice my noodle dish was missing something, like the noodles!?! He then says to me, "So, is that rice OK for you?" I said, "Well I really wanted noodles. Could they please make it with noodles the way it's listed on the menu?" He takes away the dish. When he returns, instead of making "THE BEST" noodle dish, they simply scraped my stir fry off the rice and dumped it atop a handful of plain rice noodles. No sauce. No presentation. No nothing. It was so lame. While the noodles were hot, the stir-fry was now cold, and the fried egg had totally congealed. Sorry, but this snafu made us really wonder about ever coming back.

Mexicans cooking Thai food? Really....?? I saw the cook at City Market buying up ALL the Habanero peppers, literally! Pretty sure that is not authentic Thai spices.. Unless Thai people emigrated from South America.. Which they didn't. Chicken in curry was gross.. Chicken was tough, not organic, lacking curry, lacking coconut milk, NOT lacking Habanero! Second time there, wont be back.. Adios amigos...

We ordered takeout recently and both thought the food was good and plenty spicy as requested. But the portions were pretty small which was disappointing hence the 3 star rating.

We're major Thai food fans after having lived in lots of cities with excellent restaurant choices. We've been waiting for a new Thai restaurant to open in town, as Durango's current offerings are rather disappointing --- so we were pleased to see Thai Kitchen's small sign go up on 11th street just a few months ago. We had dinner there (pad thai with tofu and seafood basil) and were thrilled with the quality of the food. It appears that the kitchen still has a few logistics to work out (I found a piece of plastic spatula in my pad thai), but most importantly the food was excellent and super tasty. We will definitely be back!

I originally got the eggplant tofu to go and it was okay, although somewhat oily...I then invited family for lunch another day and it was a disaster...the complimentary egg drop soup was bright yellow, cold and congealed...the pad thai was overly sweet, all the noodles were broken like it was the bottom of the barrel, and presentation gets a zero...what can I say about the beef broccoli...just not sure it was beef...yikes...oh yes, and did I mention the egg rolls...slimey cabbage and wasabi...interesting combination
