Love the food. Great delicious food. Extremly uncomfortable atmosphere. Almost as if tge regulars and bartenders are offended that you came in. I recomend ordering delivery. Avoid the actual building at all costs!!!

This place is awesome. 14 of us came in after a long day of skiing. The pizza is world class and very reasonable!!

The food is just ok. Typical bar food. The service is the only reason I gave it a 2 star. If you don't sit directly at the bar, you are going to get shit service.

I love JBos! Used to frequent the place all the time and moved away. My sister was getting married and at the last minute her rehearsal dinner plan fell through. I called JBos and ordered 11 gourmet specialty pizzas that were completely affordable and they offered to deliver at no charge to her wedding site! That is service!!! Thank you JBos!

Hit or miss. When the pizza's good, it's very good. But twice now, we've had pizza delivered to our house that's burnt on the bottom. Quality control, people. This pizza is priced way too high to have to eat it burnt.

BEST bbq baby back ribs deal I've had in a LONG time. Great sauce, big portion--even for the 1/2 rack I had--and excellent fresh cut fries. Beer was also ice cold. Will go here again and again. The sauce is better than Tony Romas---not too sweet, and has a 'kick' to it. Way to go J Bo.

We love going to J. Bo's for football season because there's always a good, rowdy group of football folk hanging out, including the often entertaining bartenders. The food's not bad either. Of course, we went outside of football season this last time, and the bartender was a total flop. She's this cute, edgy looking blonde thing that would fit right in if it weren't for her bad attitude. The music was blaring, but whatever, it's a bar and there's lots of rowdy people and no one seems to mind. The beer was basically on the cold side, like a good, Colorado-comfortable swimming pool temperature, but not necessarily chilly and deliciously cold as it should be, like a "I triple dog dare you to just jump in the creek" temperature. Probably not her fault. Moving on. She replaced my coldish beer with one in a frosty glass, which makes me think first, "Well why the hell didn't you give me a frosty glass to begin with?" The joint had some folks but it wasn't packed. Second, a frosty glass with coldish beer is lipstick on a pig. We noticed that other people had a hard time getting drinks from her, too, but she basically ignored us. I asked for our check, she gave it up sans decorum and after a brief chat with someone at the end of the bar. I got rid of some change and tipped her more than 20% in whole bills and she was pissed. Didn't look at me, just barked a quick, nasty "thanks", as if I had been cheap or as if she deserved way better. IT'S 5:30 AT A SPORTS BAR AT THE VERY EDGE OF TOWN. Whatever, she's definitely the only bad thing about the place.

Not much to say about the place. Overall it was a decent meal. Not the best, but not the worst we had during our visit. The pizza was good and the meatball sandwich was huge.

The best food in Durango. My family and I go to j Bo's at least once a week. The ribs are the best I've ever had and the ranch dressing is homemade and it's also the best I've ever had. I know I sound repetitive but the jalapeño poppers are also the best I've ever had. You'd be crazy not to eat here. Hands down my favorite pizza/rib shop not only in Durango but also beats out every pizza joint I've ever been to on the East coast where I'm from. There is also a bar attached but I've never been in that side, however, it's always busy.

Been here a few times. Pizza is great! They have specialty pizzas and a plethora of toppings. I usually add my own. I love their wings hot and bbq! I've also tried the chef salad and steak and cheese sub, also very good! Be patient with the service, can be spotty.

I hate to do this after a 5 star rating but I must. I've been back to J-Bo's two more times. Each time my pizza and chicken were overcooked. The first time it happened I thought it was a fluke, but after the 2nd time and a special trips up from Farmington, NM just to eat at J-Bo's, I've given up. No more.

One star for the Buffalo pizza which was really good. One star because I am nice. The place was filthy and infested with flies. It was hotter than hell. We try to go outback but people were smoking like chimneys. The prices were too much. The service was terrible. Do not get the large house salad it is the size of a normal salad. I will not be back

Pizza was just ok. Ordered a large Godfather and a small combo. Godfather came with banana peppers added, which were not listed and not wanted. Also ordered a small salad. Pizza was delivered about an hour later. Total bill was over $50. Way too expensive!
