I always have great food and service when I come here. They have grey daily specials as well as a great happy hour. The Chicago style pizza is very tasty and the homemade apple pie shots will definitely keep you coming back for more. Derailed has 7 flat screens an 1 big projection screen for all your sports desires. Not a bad seat in the house. There is a wood fireplace that really makes this place cozy in the winter time. You can also catch live music on the weekends. Stop by and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I'm kind of wanting to give this place two stars, but I feel like that wouldn't be fair given that I've only been in here during Snowdown events. I haven't eaten the food. It looked tasty but it was too crowded to get a table. The drinks were good, if not a little steeply priced - but hey, it's main street Durango, what can you expect? Mostly my beef with the place was the crowds and how poorly they were managed. People were coming in through the back door and were rudely drunk and obnoxious. There wasn't enough seating. The staff was frantically busy and therefore inattentive. But like I said it was Snowdown, so it probably isn't fair to judge. If it wasn't so crowded the atmosphere would probably be pretty neat. But it was and so it wasn't. Maybe I'll give it another try the next time I'm in town. Maybe not.

Was just in here for HH last night. Bartender was very efficient, food was good and brought out in a timely manner, and most importantly, the bill was small. Atmosphere was good, the fire is a nice touch, as is the live music. All in all, it's not going to replace the Palace as my go to HH spot, but it will be in rotation. Edited: 3/16/13-- I did love the fire, but damn. All my clothes were so gross the next day. I'm not sure it's worth it to smell like I've been camping.

$5 Appetizers and Happy Hour $4 Cosmos? One of the best places in downtown Durango for Happy Hour. The food was super and our first ever Cosmos called for a second round. Live music started sometime during our meal and the two guys added a lot to the vibe of the place.

Came in just for a drink and had no expectations. Caitlin was our server. I asked about the "apple pie" shot. She took the time to explain it to me, and I ended up ordering an apple martini, not really on the menu. Caitlin made one up for me and it was delicious. She took the time to chat with us about the town. She was lovely. We left, but on our way out saw the people next to us eating a pizza, it looked so delicious we turned around and decided to order dinner. They customized our pizza and it was perfect. I enjoyed the down to earth atmosphere and friendly staff.

Really cool hang out in the middle of town. The food was great, and the service was quick and friendly, even when it got completely packed at night. It has this cool western feel to it, but just not soooo much that it feels like a country bar. The live music was superb! We left to go check out some other places, but that was a mistake. Next time in Durango, we'll be hanging out here a lot more. Oddly enough, there's more of a Vodka than Whiskey selection, which just goes more with the country-but-not-too much atmosphere I guess.

Really great experience! The friendly and prompt service was a highlight. They have live music, and we came with my boyfriend's older parents, so we were a little worried about the noise level. But we were able to grab a table by the window where we could enjoy both the music and the conversation. Great beer selection. We also all enjoyed our food very much-wide selection of appetizers and entrees.

Definitely not a place to stop for lunch in Durango- it sounds like from the other reviews dinner would be a better time. We were the first people in there, ordered, and settled back to wait for the food to be prepared. Two more groups came in while we were waiting, bringing the total number of people in the restaurant to 15. It wasn't until 45 MINUTES later that we got our food, and they had forgotten one order, brought out something other than what we had ordered, and the food was subpar. Two people in our group ordered burgers, and specified that they be cooked medium-rare, and they came out very well done instead. When we told the waiter, he said that there was only one cook working, and he had been "slammed with orders"- again, for a total of three groups in the entire restaurant. I had the BLT and it seems it should have been renamed the "Bread, Lettuce, and Tomato" as there was hardly any bacon whatsoever. The lunch deal of the $3 pulled pork tacos was good, as were the pulled pork nachos. Everything else was just alright. I'd skip this place and choose somewhere else next time around.

Love the remodel! The place looks fantastic from the last time we visited Durango. The beers on tap were awesome to choose from. I loved teh Durango Wheat....yummo. The service was great, they have a stage for bands, tons of TV's for sports games.

You would be hard pressed to find a bar that does not have a great atmosphere and drink menu in Durango and Derailed Pour House is no exception. We stopped by for Happy Hour on a Saturday and sat on the raised platform area by the open windows. It was divine. There are tables by the windows but we opted for the comfortable leather couch and settled in. They had great drink specials including $5 bloody marys and house drinks. Service was great. They had live music that night but we didn't make it back. Wish we had!

This place has a great atmosphere. We sat at the bar, right beside the performer. It was a fun change of pace from the other bars we went to that day. The bartenders were fast and attentive. The beer was great. 5 stars- if you want to be surrounded with good vibes, come to Derailed Pour House.

Great place to hang out the window, have a drink and people watch as the thunderclouds shower on Main Ave. Cool decor.

Very disappointed. We went there for dinner with some family members and I would not recommend. Our order of wings was undercooked and we found plastic material in the nachos. The nachos were also cold. The only food that was right was a cup of soup. I took a picture of the foreign material. No effort was made to correct the mistake besides asked if we would like them to re cook the wings.

The atmosphere is fun. It's loud and friendly but don't go for the food. It's ok but there are other places to eat.

Derailed has been one of my favorite places to go while living in Durango. From the wide draught beer selection, to the changing menu, to the live music, to the trips they give away ALL THE TIME... it's a great place to go whether you want to eat, have a cocktail, play Cards Against Humanities, or listen to some great local music. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because they got rid of their pizza... and I'm a huge pizza lover.

Wonderful barbecue at this Main Street restaurant in downtown Durango. Friendly staff and incredible menu and great drinks. The owners support many local nonprofits and local musicians. They added a smoker to the kitchen and the pulled pork is excellent. Great bar or grab a table.

We watched the Broncos playoff game. It was the perfect atmosphere. Amber was our server, friendly, attentive, prompt, and patient. The wings were ok. But the parmesan truffle fries are the bomb! The nachos are good but huge, plan on sharing.

Great Place the staff there is very friendly and make great drinks! I was ther with a group of friends for an event during Snowdown (winter carnival) to find out there was a mistake in the listing about sign-up and found out it was full. The ower appologized and allowed us to explain about how we were disappointed. After hearing how much we wanted to play they decieded to allow 8 more contestents which allowed us to play! They always have great bands and good food. When in Durango for sure check it out!

It's probably fine as a "watering hole" for drinks and music. So then why even bother with a kitchen at all. The place is just really inconsistent...

Derailed Pour House. Great service excellent music and a fun atmosphere ranging from an awesome family place where daddy & mommy can enjoy libations & lunch. While jr has a kiddy cocktail and eats his burger. Then later that night you'll enjoy great music and a funtastic party atmosphere! Fun fun fun!

This place is great!! If you enjoy live music, great (affordable) craft cocktails, good food, and a nice selection of beers, this is the place. The Pour House is full of dark wood, rich red furniture, that make it a cozy place to be. Staff is friendly too :)) A place you must visit in Durango!!!

Nice atmosphere, but when I asked the waitress what whiskeys they had she said she didn't know and instructed me to "go ask the bartender because I have all these tables." She had about 5 tables, with 2-4 people each. So, my BF went to the bar. Not a huge deal, but annoying as I thought that's what a waitress did, was, you know, get you drinks.

They serve Chicago style pizza, and it was quite good. Service was efficient and food was served fast. We went in for lunch, so we didn't get to experience any of the bands or dancing that happen in the evenings. Negative: the restaurant wasn't very busy but tables around us were filled with dirty dishes. According to a Durango magazine I picked up: "Formerly the famous Farquahrts, dating from 1973, the renamed and remodeled restaurant has a new look - with seating for nearly 100 customers and plans for a rear patio. Owners Lisa and Todd Gibson have restored the the dance floor and have regular live bands. New menu features pizza, fries, hot dogs, gourmet salads and more."

I haven't eaten the food yet, but derailed is my favorite bar- beside the fact that it takes forever to get a drink. In a sea of horrible electronic music, derailed always has a great live band- real instruments and all. And I totally recommend the house apple pie shot, mmmmmmm.

Walking down the street I heard a jazz quintet... In Durango? Stopped in for a beer. Friendly staff and reasonable food. I got a chicken Ceasar wrap and fries. Was fresh and flavorful. Band was OK. Beer was good. Perfect casual stop after a long day on the road. About stars. There is grade inflation around here. If I gave it an honest well deserved 3 you wouldn't go. It's a good place. Go, if you are looking for a fun friendly casual place.

My co-worker and I were looking for a bite to eat when we noticed this neat pub with seats right next to the window. We decided to grab a chair and people watch. Great place for it and we were pleasantly surprised by the rest of the establishment. There was a guy playing guitar and doing it well, so I made a request and he obliged. Did a good job too! They had house margaritas for $4.00 and pulled pork tacos for $3.00. So we stayed and had tacos and margaritas. Everything was great. Great ambiance, great music, great food, great drinks and the server was very cool. Gave us a little history on the building as well which always comes in handy during trivia night. It wasn't crowded so I don't know what its like on one of those nights , but I would definitely go back when I'm in town.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and drinks this past Saturday night while vacationing in Durango. First of all the service was great! We ordered the 32 oz Bloody Mary, but were unable to drink it--too much salt (and hardly any alcohol)! Skip that and order the Pour House Margarita--it is yummy! We ordered Southwestern rolls, Raspberry Spinach Salad (subbed in feta for the blue cheese), and the Spinach and Artichoke Dip. It was all great! Much better quality than typical bar food. We stayed for the live band and enjoyed people watching for a while. Our server continued to check on us. We had a delightful evening. I absolutely recommend the Pour House while you are in Durango!

This was the worst place we went on our weekend trip to Durango. The service was slow. The waiter was nice, but way overworked. He had too many tables and not enough hands. It looks like the owners were there, but they didn't do anything to really help out the servers. The food took an hour, and it was most definitely not worth the wait. My hamburger was cold, and the bun was soggy- I assume it was ready and not brought out- due to my server running around like crazy. All the beer we ordered was flat and not appetizing.
