Filthy!!!! We live near the store. We like the donuts. Often take our grandkids for a treat. 2 weeks ago we found the store dirty. No tables cleaned. High chair was sticky. Floor so bad it was slippery. Kick space under the counter had visible food, paper, etc. Will go back to Winchells or drive to Krispy Kreme.

Darn good!! I don't know what the craze is over Dunkin Donuts...just ok in my opinion. Waltons however.....good....darn good, and I'm not even a big donut eater.

Best donuts in Denver! Your office will love you if you bring in a dozen! Rise and shine if you're looking for a good selection.......they sell out early. Good thing late sleepers like me will eat anything that's chocolate and I live nearby. ;)

I decided to celebrate an awesome Weight Watchers weigh in this morning by indulging in 2 donuts and milk for breakfast as a belated donut day celebration. So I headed over to Waltons. The very friendly counter girl informed me that the cake donuts had just come out and were still warm. So I selected a maple cake and a chocolate cake to go. She placed them in one of those paper french fry trays, and slid them into a bag. The aroma in my car was amazing and the 10 minute drive home was absolute torture! I had to fight reaching in the bag! My patience was rewarded when I got home and bit into the maple one first: warm and fresh, crispy on the outside, soft and light on the inside with the perfect amount of icing on top. The chocolate one was more of the same, except with chocolate icing. I don't eat donuts often, but when I do I head over to Waltons. It has always been worth the drive, even when I lived in Highlands. But don't just take my word for it, there's a reason that except for one review, all of the reviews for Waltons Donuts are 4 and 5 stars. PS- If you are spending less than $5, make sure to have cash on hand! PPS-There's a sign on their door stating that they are now open on Sundays!

A little donut shop that has a small variety of donuts. I was hoping for something a little more tasty but something was just off. Still searching for a great local donut shop

Crack! Not really a donut hound but the worst mistake I made one day was stopping by for coffee and a donut on the way to work. OH MY GOODNESS!! This is as good of a donut as I have ever had in my life! YUM!

Donuts are good, but this location is dirty it's sickening. Needs a new owner who will give it some love. Selection was depleted by 10 am. Not so good!

First time going there today.Got there at around 10:30, most the donuts were gone but that's not a problem there was still a good selection. I got a dozen..was like $16. The doughnuts looked amazing and I couldn't wait to go home and eat them. Tasted fantastic, I had a strawberry filled donut and a bear claw which has Apple cinnamon filling for all you stoners out there.. THIS IS YOUR DOUGHNUT SHOP.

You now what's good? Donuts. I fucking love me some donuts, and have eaten enough in my life to know a "okay" donut joint from a "holy sweet jesus shit" donut shop. Waltons Donuts falls in the "holy sweet jesus shit" category. These are some great damn donuts folks. My go-to order is always a bear claw and a handful of donut holes. Have you ever had a warm donut hole actually melt in your mouth? I hadn't either until I had one here at Waltons. I just about shit my shorts it was that good. Go. Just go.

They were open but only had 2 kinds of donuts. Go somewhere else; go to the 7-Eleven next door, you will have more choice. Lame! Try the Donut House near Parker and Peoria, they always have a great selection.

Best. Donuts. Ever. Be there early, or they will be gone.

I've been here twice now and I have to say their donuts are pretty good! The location isn't great and a possible renovation wouldn't hurt but I understand that can be costly. So it's a definite "hole in the wall" joint but it doesn't take away from their capability of producing a tasty donut. I do, however, wish they had strawberry frosting donuts with sprinkles (a personal favorite when I lived in TX). Aside from the location of this shop, they could use a more vibrant inside. The lighting is horrible and there's nothing that really draws a customer in, other than just passing by and wanting a donut (this is how I found the place) or by being a local. When I think of donuts I also picture the shop so it would be nice if they spruced up the place by adding more lighting and possibly painting. Adults like donuts but kids LOVE donuts. Back in TX, parents bring their kids to get donuts and they actually stay to eat at the donut shop. I have yet to see anyone sitting inside and eating their donuts. In fact, I'm not even sure if they have seating. (Not remembering can't be good) They should try making it a bit more vibrant. Doesn't have to be geared towards kids just more modern and inviting for families. Presentation can go a long way and is linked directly to the profit of the company. I hope they make some changes soon! I'd hate for them to go out of business.

Great little donut shop at the intersection of Leetsdale and Monaco. Fresh, tasty & sweet, and inexpensive! Nice people behind the counter as well.

My favorite doughnut shop. No frills delicious donuts. I've been to glazed and confused, voodoo, fractured prune, etc... but this is still my favorite.

Delicious donuts and affordable. I ordered 17 dozen for an office event. They were boxed and ready when I arrived 15 minutes early. The donuts were a major office success! Highly recommend this neighborhood breakfast gem.

Avoid...I was curious to see if Walton's really had the best donuts in Denver. I did not stay long enough to find out. I walked in and the young woman behind the counter was busy mopping the floor. No one else was there to help. She politely asked what I wanted and I placed an order for a couple of donuts, She proceeded to reach in the case. Before grabbing the food, I asked her awkwardly to please wash her hands first. She noted she was wearing gloves (the same ones on the mop) and then proceeded to strip those gloves and put new ones (while handling the new gloves with the old ones). She never washed her hands. Now I am not generally along the OCD lines, general hand washing in food service is important and I thought a polite reminder would do the trick. The reason for not using mop gloves when grabbing a donut never clicked with her. And, the place does really have a smell (from the bathroom area?) as someone else noted. I walked away without a purchase.

This used to be one of the best places to get donuts and now it is not. I went in on Saturday and there was only one person working there and she was more interested in getting donuts on a tray in the back then helping us out. I was so used to nice and fluffy and tasty donuts and I walked away wishing I had gone to King Soopers than stopping at one of the most highly rated donut shops. I am disappointed. I know that they ownership has changed but since then, the quality of donuts has not stayed the same.

Clean and comfortable, good customer service, great breakfast! Can't go wrong with any options-check out the apple fritters they are my favorite.

Meh, I was so excited to finally try Walton's that maybe my built up hype led to it falling short of my expectations. With all of the new donut shops coming into Denver the excitement over the fluffy little o's of joy has been at an all time high, and I have had a yearning for finding a great donut. Unfortunately Walton's just didn't cut it. The donuts are a step above Safeway or Albertsons, even though I got there at 6am my donuts were cold and already getting a little hard. I enjoy the original flavors and am not the biggest fan of the really adventurous concoctions that places have so of the three I got(glazed, chocolate glazed, and the cinnamon roll donut) the only one I enjoyed was the cinnamon roll donut. The rest were cold, greasy, lacking of flavor, and ultimately was not an experience worth going out of your way for.

  • J. C.

This is not a fancy place, and the donuts admittedly don't look like much, sitting there all humble in their simple glass case. But, oh man! Those are some of the best donuts I have ever had. Trumps even the latest edition to the Denver donut scene. Seriously good donuts!!

Based on a "take-away" review. Tuesday Feb 8th 2011 Hubs was in the neighborhood. I asked him to purchase some Donuts for my mini donut cravings. Purchased these if I could recall properly. * Raspberry filled * Strawberry * Double Chocolate * Lemon * Bavarian Cream * Sugar Donuts All in all A-OK Donuts for me. Perhaps it might differ if I were to be there at this establishment in person and eat the donuts there. Perhaps it might differ my review. So for all the donut lovers out there, there are some questions, I need to ask, y'all... How do you eat your donuts? Do you eat it cold, or do you nuke it in the mirco-wave for several seconds? Do you like your donuts HOT from the store? Or do you eat your donuts with tea, coffee or cold milk?? Just wondering... Might return to this establishment when needed.

Wouldn't give it a 5 because I just can't give 5 for a donut joint. But I had a craving for a donut, and had to seek one out. Haven't had a donut in years, so off I went on my way to work. The smell brought me back in the day, and was exactly what I hoped for when I walked in. Nothing over the top, straight to the donut hole for this place. Friendly staff for sure! Seems like they push some dough out of there because people were coming in consistently while I was there. The donuts were great! Tasted fresh, were light, and totally what I was seeking out with my craving. Until years from now, my donut loving friends.

Woke up way too early today, so turned on the TV to 9News while getting ready for work. Well I'll be damned, today's National Donuts Day! I've always wanted to try Waltons but never woke up early enough for it, what better day to get a dozen for work than National Donuts Day?! Here are my feelings during this donuts experience: Prior to getting the donuts - Yelp reviews look awesome, I hope this is good. On my way to work with the donuts - this better be good, I bought a dozen of them. After my first bite of the donut - OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!! Can't say that I'm a donuts connoisseur but this donut definitely got my day started right. Only problem now, I live too close to it..... =)

  • Wally B.

The store is run down and dirty. The variety on offer was very small. The donuts I purchased were not quite done and were not very different than what you would buy at a supermarket. The one Bavarian creme donut was filled with artificial tasting filling that was so bad I threw it away. Whatever reputation this place had is no more- pass it it by!

    (1)
  • Virgil N.

The donuts are very good, but the coffee and the store itself need a little work. The place could use a little redecoration.

After reading many sterling reviews, I had to come check out this donut shop. Now, I may prefer French pastries, but that doesn't mean a deep-fried carb doesn't whet my palate from time to time. I popped in on Sunday morning to find a lovely little collection of people having their donuts and coffee. I proceeded to ogle the display case: glazed, sugar, chocolate covered, Bavarian creme, lemon-filled, raspberry-filled, long johns, twisted, mini-poppers...the list goes on! I picked out a few, grabbed a cup of Peaberry coffee, and was on my way in no time. Since donuts are a rarity in my diet, I was pleased that they were so tasty! Fresh, moist, flavorful! We may not have D&D in Denver, but hey, who needs them when we've got Waltons? Friendly staff, lovely locals, tasty donuts. What's not to love?

How have I not reviewed a donut shop so close to my house? I've been here a number of times over the years and somehow neglected to write about how good it is. Well, after another visit this morning, I figured it was time. They always make tasty donuts here, and they have really started to branch out with some new varieties. Besides all of the usual standards, they've got a few more creative ones. I had to get the Lucky Charms one today just because, but they also had some filled ones that looked good, as well as the rare cinnamon twist. They also have smoothies and juices here, and prices are the same as what you'd find at other donut shops. The staff are always friendly, and they even threw in a few extra donut holes. My only complaint is that they close at 2 pm, but they are now open on Sundays too, so that balances out I guess. Mmm...donuts...

  • Crys A.

Go early so they're warm and fresh. WONDERFUL donuts. They should be open on Sundays! That's when I'm usually out looking for pastries and coffee. Other than that? Highly recommended.

I grew up in Chicago where you can't swing a dead cat without hitting a Dunkin' Donuts... I have lived here for about 20 years now, and while I have picked up my fair share from the bakery at King Soopers and have sampled a few from another quite popular spot on the West side of town. I have not been "wowed" by a doughnut in a long, long time. After eating a doughnut from Watson's a couple of weeks back, I am now aware that I had NEVER before been wowed by a doughnut, until that very moment. My daughters had a couple of friends sleep over so that Saturday morning, we had 4 hungry teenage girls in the house and my hubby and I were hungry too. Our big plan for blueberry pancakes was called to a halt due a lack of milk AND time. Teenagers can SLEEP LATE! Anyway it was off to Watson's for the hubby. When Scott returned with 6 perfectly boxed doughnuts and waiting my turn after the girls, I picked one of the remaining two. A vanilla iced with coconut. THIS WAS THE BEST DOUGHNUT I HAVE EVER EATEN! I do not lie. I have no clue how they made it so delicate, so light, so crunchy and perfect, with a smooth not overly sweet icing and great coconut flakes all over the top. I was actually in shock that something as simple as a doughnut could be so damned good. Seriously. Now for the best part... my husband is on his way there right this very moment!

LOVE this place. Donuts are delicious and fresh tasting, cashier is always friendly. The coffee is not bad and I'm a coffee snob. I have not had an issue with selling out of donuts because I go before work which is early - lucky for me, they open at 5am. Bring a dozen of these babies to work and you'll be a hit. I would say the interior is typical old school donut shop, complete with a couple of old timers reading the paper or complaining about politicians. Highly recommend.

Good donuts. There was a woman running the place, her young boy sitting at a table working on his homework. Looks like a nice local joint. We got breakfast sandwiches--just your run-of-the-mill nuked eggs on a croissant. But the donuts were made with care. My apple nugget (a whole fritter was too big) was fluffy and sweet and not too 'fried' tasting. My bf, a "donut enthusiast," was suitably impressed.

Fabulous Donuts. Winchells, Dunkins, Lamar's, and Krispy Kreme don't hold a candle to this place. It is even better than Shipley's Donuts in my opinion although my sister might disown me for saying that! Absolutely the softest donuts I have ever had. I tried the Apple Fritter, Tigers Tail (a cinnamon twist), plain glazed, and their sour cream cake donuts. All were absolutely delicious! I have nothing bad to say about them and that is rare for me. Service was very friendly. Beware that there is a $5 minimum on credit/debit transactions.

I have driven past this place time and time again. I never thought to stop and it never occurred to me that this place could make as delicious a donut as they do. Shame on me. All the donuts I could have eaten if only I had stopped sooner. Both the cake style and yeast style donuts at Walton are delicious. The yeast in particular are incredibly soft, chewy and delicious. The donuts do not leave the horrible rough sticky residue on the top of your mouth like some other places' donuts do. The donut holes covered in sugar glaze are incredible little pillows of delicious delight that are both soft and chewy and not too sweet. A baker's dozen for $2.00. Yes please! W.D. appears to be a family run business and these folks are doing it right. I must maintain some self control because I could go for this kind of loving doughy joy and goodness everyday. Oh tasty tasty donut delight.

Despite having stuffed our faces all morning long, my boyfriend and I found ourselves with an insatiable craving for donuts around 2:30 on a Sunday afternoon. I quickly took to Yelp for assistance in finding a local, and well-reviewed, abode of doughnut goodness. This place was an excellent choice. The doughnuts were fresh and perfectly cooked and sweetly iced. My only qualm was a preconceived notion that there would be a huge selection of fluffy pastries, and yet there were just a few huge trays filled with slightly grouped, mostly mismatched iced rings of dough and other tempting floury treats. Still, they had everything I was craving - except for strawberry iced with sprinkles, though they did have just plain strawberry iced. Sprinkles are non-negotiable on my doughnuts, but Waltons stepped up to the plate with both vanilla and chocolate iced varieties with sprinkles atop. We also sampled a yummy apple bear claw, chocolate iced with coconut shreds, chocolate iced with almond slices, and one of the best cinnamon sugar coated doughnuts I have ever tasted in my entire life. I'll be back, yes indeed.

After reading the reviews on Yelp for Waltons on Leetsdale I was optimistic that this would be my new favorite donut shop in the Denver area. I set out on a Sunday morning around 6:50AM. There were no people there and unfortunately I didn't catch the donuts as they were still warm (guess I have to get up earlier or go on a Saturday when they are cranking out more). I ordered a dozen so I could sample a variety of their donuts. Some of the donuts included: Raised Glaze Raised Iced Chocolate Raised Iced Maple Raised Iced Strawberry Raised Filled Bavarian Cream with Chocolate Icing Apple Bear Claw Cake Chocolate (glazed) Cake Iced Strawberry My favorite of the bunch was the Raised Iced Strawberry. The icing was a perfect mix of tart and sweet. I'm sad to say that overall I was not that impressed with the donuts. Perhaps it's because there were no people buying and the donuts had sat there a while. The girl at the counter was very friendly and nice however which is a plus for a donut shop. I still have this place above Winchell's. I will make another visit here in the next month or so and try on a Sat then report with an update.

Best donuts in town. If you have a favorite its best to call the night before and place your order as they run out quickly. The glazed go the fasted. We love the strawberry. They are fantastic

  • Jason J.

It's not exactly a Dunkin Donuts (you can say what you want about Krispy Kreme, and I'll admit the KK is good, but for a good New England boy NOTHING will be as good as a Dunkin Donuts) but it's solid I haven't had breakfast sandwiches yet, but I have had their donuts on a couple of occasions. Brought a dozen into work one morning and they gave me a 13th free (I have a pretty face!) Prices are good, selection is good, and donuts are tasty. One thing that surprised me was that there wasn't way too much sugar or glaze on a lot of them. And to me the coolest part is that all the donuts really taste as fresh as they actually are -- you can see them making the donuts in the back! Everything is fresh, light, good, not too fried and it doesn't weigh you down when you eat 2 or 9 donuts in a row. Not that I've ever tried the latter... If you go too fast by the place you'll miss it, so make sure you keep an eye out and stop in sometime!

  • Michael P.

Still AMAZING. Stopped by the other day on my way to work and got donuts and donut holes. I enjoyed the donuts holes on the way, he he....but I did save donuts for my co-workers. Everyone lovesssssss how soft and delicious these are. They beat out Winchel's hands down.

  • Yvonne C.

Let me start by saying that I am not really a sweets person. I enjoy a donut here or there but who doesn't? In my office, there is this thing called the Donut Club. There are 15-20 people in this club and they take turns bringing in donuts on Friday's. I have been hearing a co-worker of mine boast about Waltons Donuts for a long, long time and this morning, I finally tried one. This puffy donut covered in a strawberry glaze was heaven on earth and I am surprised I didn't eat 2 or 3 of them. When you think of strawberry glaze, you will probably think of that sugary, gooey filling that resides in stuffed donuts. Think again. The glaze was perfect. A little tart and just sweet enough to satisfy your sugar craving but not too much where it makes your stomach hurt. Get there early, the good ones go fast.

  • Liz S.

Based on the reviews I was really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately, it is mediocre. It is kind of like the type of donuts you'd get at the grocery store. Not special. Disappointing. Also, incredibly greasy. Like when you put it in a paper bag, you can see through the bag after 30 seconds. Good donuts should not be this greasy. Period.

  • Elyssa M.

By far the best donuts in Denver...nothing like my Shipley's from Texas but the best around here! Sometimes the way they're cooked is inconsistent (I asked and they said they changed oils) but at times the donuts seem undercooked :(

  • Imugi M.

Best in town hands down, but get there early for the best selection because they close by late afternoon!

  • Loren L.

Holy grail donut. Yes, they are a bit greasy.. But they melt in your mouth. Their donuts are not too sweet & very moist. It's delicious. I will limit myself to only 1 visit a month. I'm nervous I know where this place is.. It's that good. Cake donuts are the best I've ever had, period. I'm in love.

New location on Parker and Quincy is very convenient. Oh my gosh, the best doughnuts on the planet. Use to love Dunkin Donuts, these are by far better than any other donut I have had. The are just the right sweetness and practically melt in your mouth.

Before Krispy Kreme was in Denver, I remember people carrying dozens home with them on the airplane. It's silly I didn't know about this place, because it's hands down the best donut shop in town. And it's right across the street! Niceeeee! They have remodeled the place and offer some really yummy coffee dealyos now too. BE CAREFUL! They usually run out of stuff by noon because it's so popular! My mom comes to visit a lot sometimes...and I wonder if she's coming to see me or to go to the donut shop =-)

Dear Dunkin' Donuts, I love you. Don't get me wrong, you will always be my first love for donuts. However, since my move from Chicago, you have stayed behind, teasing me with commercials on my TV. I've had to move on. I'm willing to see other people, I know you are. See, I have moved on. I met this great donut shop near my house. And yes, it's an actual donut shop. It appears to be run by a family who knows how to make a damn fine donut. We've flirted for a while and now, I think it's growing into love. Their sugar donut is delicious and fluffy and you can't go wrong with the chocolate glaze with sprinkles. They always have a plethora of choices and they are always good. So, Dunkin, when I am in Chicago, I'll stop by and visit. We can recreate our love affair. However, in the mean time, I'm going to give Walton some much needed attention and cash. Hugs and Kisses, Meghan

Found my donut shop. Got a buttermilk chocolate donut, chocolate with chocolate chips, and a chocolate long john (see a theme...). I liked the one with chocolate chips the best. Think I will come back here when I feel like something sweet (often) or to surprise my co-workers on a random morning.

BEST CAKE DONUT I've ever had! I visited this place as I was passing through Denver, and in retrospect I think I should've bought two dozen donuts to make the experience last a little bit longer. Although it seems like an ordinary, independently operated coffee shop, the donuts are absolutely divine. The devil's food cake donut literally melts in your mouth... and the donuts stay fresh for at least a couple of days (couldn't tell you exactly how long, as all of mine were gone in two days flat). If I ever pass through Denver again, I'll definitely make the stop here!

  • Serenity M.

The first time, they were out of donuts 10:30 in the morning! What kind of a donut shop runs out that early on a saturday? So I try again on a weekday and was extremely unimpressed. Their selection was minimal and not that great tasting. We got the strawberry filled, glazed, and maple donuts which a tasted subpar. Normally I want to keep eating donuts after the first few bites. Not this time. Donut house on Parker has better selection and tastier donuts!!

  • Melissa J.

My family and I went there early Sunday morning. There is nothing better than the smell of fresh donuts cooking and a cup of coffee to start your day. Even though I expected a larger variety of donuts, what they had cured our cravings. I ordered a chocolate covered raspberry jelly filled. It was heavenly. It had the taste and even texture of real raspberries. I found myself wishing that I had ordered a second.

I like my coworkers, don't get me wrong, but I have trouble spending almost 30$ on 2 dozen fancy assorted donuts for their consumption. And the Fancy mix comes with only 4 that are actually fancy? Pshaw. That said, for Secretary's Day I went in and tried to get the most Fancy for my buck: the counter lady was willing to negotiate my assortment and completed my own mix-and-match selection with a few extra fancies. The result? Coworkers made the two dozen disappear much faster than any LaMar's selection we've had. The fact that sweet pastries taste good (and boy oh boy Waltons really makes tasty donuts) isn't the reason for the 5 stars -- tossing in a few extra specials is definitely what made my day. Very recommended establishment.

I am so glad that I went out of my way to stop here on the way to the airport. So many of them looked really good, it was hard to choose. I didn't arrive until late in the morning, but there was still a great selection. The ones I did select were very good. Service was quick and friendly. I am definitely a fan of local places over franchise stores. I will definitely be stopping by again whenever I am in Denver. I only wish I would have stopped by the first morning instead of the last.

This is the best donut joint in Denver. Period. I've never made it to this place before because it is closed on Sundays. WTF??? Inconvenient closures aside, this place does the donut better than anyone in town. That includes LaMar's, Dunkin's, Krispy Kreme and Winchell's. Their glazed donut is soft and yeasty and will absolutely melt in your mouth. The Denver Post also agrees. See denverpost.com/lifestyle… .

after months of an unsatisfied donut craving, my brother came home with a surprise one saturday afternoon this summer: walton's donuts. he got me a chocolate donut with a chocolate glaze and mini chocolate chips. tasty, fresh, chocolatey. very light and airy, and while most consider that key in a perfect donut, i prefer my donuts to be a bit heavier. still, very very good nonetheless. had a donut hole as well - again, to light for me, but tasty. i took a bite of something my brother called a tiger tail? one of those cinnamon twist things. reallllly tasty. this place is good, but i'm gonna head over and try the hole before having it again.

Really, really good donuts, in a non-descript location. We stopped in on a road trip through the area and bought a dozen. The cake donuts were the softest, most moist cake-style I've had (but I don't have donuts that often - it's possible this was just my first time having one the way they're meant to be).

    (4)
  • Stephanie P.

I love this place! I have yet to get anything of poor quality here; their donuts are always fresh, soft, and delicious. Of course, the trade-off for quality like that is that if you don't arrive early, then the selection may be a bit limited, but in my opinion, that's a small price to pay for the knowledge that I'm getting donuts made that morning, or even within the last hour. They've got all the usual favorites - glazed, frosted, jelly filled, bear claws, long johns, cinnamon rolls - plus new classics like maple frosted with bacon. They aren't the cheapest place - I paid $7.50 for a half dozen of regular donuts with a little bag of donut holes (sweet, light bites of heaven, and though the menu board says it's a dozen, you get far more than that,) but when compared to the hit-or-miss quality you might get at LaMars or Winchell's, it's well worth it. Staff is usually helpful and friendly, but it can get a little chaotic inside, especially if stopping before the GW students begin school. My coworkers actually ask me to stop at this place. Even the ones who are dieting! Definitely the best donuts in Denver.

This is a really good donut shop. I passed by it once a long time ago while I was in the neighborhood and I completely ignored it. Now I'm required to drive by nearly every morning and I decided to give it a try. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how small and cozy the place is. They have several tables inside for a 2-party, but the place is not cramped. They have a nice selection of donuts, but i've definitely seen more variety at other donut shops. With these donuts you feel like you've hit the jackpot. They are made to perfection with a soft and fresh dough, the chocolate is great, and this is the only place i've been to with a triple chocolate cake donut (chocolate cake dough w/ chocolate fudge topping w/ chocolate chips). One donut will cost you about $0.75 and a bar/twist will be $1.10 or somewhere around there. This is a great local business with great donuts, so give them a chance.

I grew up in Massachusetts, the land of Dunkin Donuts....and then later lived in North Carolina, the land of Krispy Kreme....Waltons is better than both, easily. They don't have as wide a selection as DD or KK but the simple donuts they do have are absolutely amazing, so light and fresh tasting and just right on the sweetness. I bought a total of 15 sets of dozen donut packs to distribute to a bunch of my referrals and they all raved about them and asked me where I'd bought them. It's a small, no-frills place. One thing I would NOT recommend is the coffee- get your coffee first then come here for your donut to go with it

By far the best donuts in Denver...nothing like my Shipley's from Texas but the best around here! Sometimes the way they're cooked is inconsistent (I asked and they said they changed oils) but at times the donuts seem undercooked :(

Really, really good donuts, in a non-descript location. We stopped in on a road trip through the area and bought a dozen. The cake donuts were the softest, most moist cake-style I've had (but I don't have donuts that often - it's possible this was just my first time having one the way they're meant to be).

Tasted fantastic, I had a strawberry filled donut and a bear claw which has Apple cinnamon filling for all you stoners out there.. THIS IS YOUR DOUGHNUT SHOP.

Go. Just go.

Good thing late sleepers like me will eat anything that's chocolate and I live nearby. ;)

Still AMAZING. Stopped by the other day on my way to work and got donuts and donut holes. I enjoyed the donuts holes on the way, he he....but I did save donuts for my co-workers. Everyone lovesssssss how soft and delicious these are. They beat out Winchel's hands down.

Period.
