This place gets packed at lunch so call in your order to avoid the long line. I love the spicy Sesame Tofu. It's not on the menu but they are always happy to make it. Yum!! And their mango sticky rice rocks.

Food was delicious and I recommend the pad Thai with fried rice as a side a little bit pricey for a lunch though

This was one of my favorite lunch spots when I worked in the DTC. I can't comment on a lot of the popular menu items like pad thai because I always ordered the massaman curry and it was wonderful. The other bright spot was this places has the best crab cheese wontons around.

Love the food here. Their peanut sauce is special :) The portions are gigantic and everything I have eaten so far has been delicious. I love their Chicken Satay, Panang Curry and Combo Fried Rice. I usually call ahead during the lunch hour since the wait can be pretty long. The staff is friendly.

I used to get amazing food from here. I just order carry out and it was awful. This is the 4th time it has been horrid. A beef and broccoli. Beef over cooked like jerky and veggies raw. I live local and support local but this is my last attempt. Kevin

Delicious and fast! The pad thai, pad see ew, and pineapple fried rice were all fantastic. The portions are a pretty good size, especially for the prices. The pad thai has a super thick syrupy orange sauce which I'm not a huge fan of. I like my pad thai on the lighter side. But, my brother loves it, so to each his own I guess. Definitely americanized thai food. No authentic menu options. But, if you're looking for the standard thai dishes, this is a good bet.

Fast service and decent food. The only problem is that I've found the best drunken noodles in the world at Thai Pot and so far nothing else has lived up to theirs. Very loud environment inside that is surely intentional to produce a high turnover in this fast casual environment.

Great place to go get a quick, affordable, delicious meal. Lots of parking available. Generally you order at the counter, but they will also take your order at the table if you prefer. Two unique (and awesome) features: 1) all items can be made vegetarian, 2) they have a full bar.

I have been coming to this Tuk Tuk location for years during the tech center lunch rush. Lately I have been stoping by for dinner when I have a late meeting after work. This is solid if not gourmet Thai food at a reasonable price, with good service and a convenient location. And the price is right.

Pan seared dumplings! YUM-O! The dishes are pretty good with healthy servings. My favorites are the Phad Thai and Basil Chicken. A+ for this eatery's proximity to my office!

Great Pad Thai and friendly, fast service. Very underrated little restaurant! I'm giving 5 stars because the prices are very reasonable and I have always had good experiences dining in and carrying out.

Tuk Tuk is an excellent choice for thai when you're in the tech center. It's got really good thai tea, first of all, which my friends adore. The food is prepared pretty quick, and it's certainly quite tasty. This place can get a little jam-packed around lunchtime during the week, but if that's the case, I'll take it to go. This can also make wait times a little longer, but you always have the option of calling ahead your order. Overall, a solid option for Thai in the DTC.

A slightly greasy feeling as soon as you walk in but with a super inviting feel. Dishes come out with a slight inconsistency in quality the couple times that I have been here. Last time I was there, my drunken noodles (with beef) came out with overcooked beef. On the other hand, the time before that, everything came out perfect. The place is A-OK. Service has been good both times but we were the only ones in there. Within thirty minutes of our arrival, the restaurant always fills up! I'd be willing to come during the day for lunch specials but probably will never come back for dinner.

  • Derek D.

Decent Thai food at a good price. They seem to have lost some of their original flair from a couple of years ago though. I would recommend them if you're looking for something quick but if you're not in a rush look around a bit more.

  • Hunter E.

Terrible experience. Charged me more than food was priced online, my beef basil wrap was 95% rice (rice isn't even in the description), and what was supposed to be a 'spicy tuna' roll, was unbearably covered in chili powder...last time I checked, that's not how you make "spicy" tuna. My true rating is a -2!

The Panang curry was a Amazing as always the Thai hot is very nicely done! My favorite Thai in town!

  • Melissa M.

This place is great if you're looking for a decent cheap Thai meal. After a hard workout, my bro and I had the tofu panang curry/spring rolls/tom yum/salmon roll and crab wontons. The salmon was actually better tasting than I thought it was going to be. The crab wontons are some of my favorite I've had. The spring rolls were delicious too and the panang was way spicy - just like i like it (i got it hot). And...it's really well-priced. I'll definitely be coming back to this little gem! :)

Great Thai food, seems halfway between a sit-down and take-out place. So it's nice and quick if you're heading out, and a nice chic place to chill and eat also. I had the Pad Thai, deliciously sweet and spicy dish with chicken and tofu. And their Thai iced tea was great. Affordable prices and really prompt, friendly service. Only gave 4 stars because it was just me by myself for lunch, I didn't have any other people eating with me to share opinions on more dishes. And bonus, they played lots of 1950s music, which was a cool touch of atmosphere.

  • Chelsie H.

Service: great waitress. Attentive. Very patient Drinks: thai iced tea, yummy. Food: sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, cream cheese wontons with crab meat (yummy) husband didn't like his sweet and sour chicken. He said it was too watery and no flavor in the sauce.

Tuk Tuk is really good Thai food and as James H. said a great change of pace from all the other (mainly) sandwich shops in the Tech Center. They have lots of traditional Thai food and quite a lot of vegetarian options. (I'm not a vegetarian, but I know someone who is, poor guy...) The service is usually fast and friendly and I haven't had to wait no matter what time I go. They serve Thai tea here, too which I love as well as beers and regular soft drinks. One thing that I will warn you of though is the potential spiciness of the food. I eat hot food like it's my job, but if you ask for Thai hot here they'll really give it to you. If you haven't had Thai hot before I'd suggest starting with regular hot and working your way up. Either that or you're taking a chance of having a fire in your belly. And not in a good way.

  • Kerry B.

The food was okay, nothing spectacular, the prices were high for the quality and quantity. What set this place apart was the service. We were a party of 8, who ordered in three units, all under the same table number and the confusion of getting our food to the right party member was unreasonable. The servers were all yelling at each other, and us, and then the guy at the register. None of the people doing the yelling even listened to the people being questioned; it was a chaotic start to a simple lunch gathering that set the rest of the visit on edge. Won't be going back.

If I could give this restaurant no stars I would. I called tonight to place an order to go and asked for Tom Yum Goong. Any person who works at a Thai restaurant should know what that is, and the kid who answered the phone didn't know what it was. I asked for extra tomatoes in the soup and got home and THERE ARE NONE. In addition, the idiot who packed my takeout did it in a manner that half of the teeny portion of soup spilled all over the bag, making both packages of rice dripping wet. Food taste and quality? For double the portion size and about a dollar more I could have had delectable soup from Thai Flavor or Udom Thai instead of the spiceless, tasteless liquid I got tonight. Maybe I was asking too much of an American-Thai restaurant, but I expect minimal knowledge of the food you sell and some one who can take an order and pack it correctly.

I like to come here after watching all the eternally single dudes shop at Microcenter. Fast Service and great food. The portions are pretty big and you can have them really spice it up if you like hot (spicey) food.

  • Dan S.

This place embodies A-OK. Several of the reviews seem to try to talk themselves into higher ratings. Alas, I think three is the right level. The food here is decent. I was impressed when they first opened, but must admit they didn't keep it up - the Basil Chicken started off amazing, but now it is just A-OK. Maybe the chef-teacher left his pupils to carry on? I think they do stir-fry and noodles (Pad Thai, Basil Chicken, Ginger Beef) a bit better than their curries - the curries aren't awful, just not as good in my opinion. I'm a fiend for their Thai (iced) Tea - and for everybody else's too. I do still stop by as it is reliable, fast, fresh (quality has always been good).

I've always gone to Tuk Tuk and have tried many dishes over the years, and Drunken Noodles have been some of my fav. Got some last night and the combo appetizer. I noticed the drunken noodles didn't taste the same as they had in the past but I thought I was over-thinking it, & the potstickers were burnt and the egg rolls were too thick, crab wontons were ok. Not sure if they have new staff working there but seemed like it. I typically eat very healthy but every so often will indulge in good Thai & other authentic foods and Tuk Tuk was always a good choice with friends and family. Anyways, I got nauseous about 10 minutes after dinner and I'm still really nauseous the next day (it is now afternoon). Sooo disappointed and feeling sick today, I don't think I'll be going back. I would say I'll stick to Wild Ginger in Littleton but that disappointed me the last time we were there too. I need to find a good Thai Restaurant!!!

  • Jason A.

I would eat here 3-4 times a week if I could. Food is amazing. I am a little boring so I usually get the same thing which is the Massaman Curry. It makes me cry a little each time I eat it. Hot spicy hearty and delicous. Sometimes the staff is a little off as mentioned before. They almost lack attentiveness. I ordered something "hot" or "thai hot" I need water refills. I feel like you always have to wave them down or go ask. Other than that amazing!!

  • Dale M.

I was okay with the one brown cloudy ice cube that found in my drink until the next day when I got diarrhea. I should have taken the hint when I saw that the place was dead.

    (1)
  • Lien N.

Horrible Thai food that isn't even cooked by Thai. They tried to Americanize the food and that's a horrible idea. Food was wayyy too salty. I didn't even finish my food and didn't even bother taking it home. Dessert was good though.

  • Barbi P.

I use to live within walking distance of Tuk Tuk but still only ended up there twice in two years. This was before my recent love of Thai food developed so it may just be a bad choice of dishes but I was never so blown away that I wanted to come back soon. The first time I went to Tuk Tuk I ordered sushi. It was very OK. The rolls are basic and nothing special but they also aren't bad. It wouldn't be a bad side but this isn't the kind of place to go to for sushi. The second time I shared a wok with my boyfriend and got some spring rolls. All around not a bad meal but nothing I wanted to come back for. Anytime I went the place was dead but I lived in the area so I usually missed the normal tech center lunch crowd. I always got good service but like I said the place was dead.

  • Two T.

I'm sorry but this place used to be THE place to go to! Over the last 6 months, their quality has quickly declined. Today I got the Pad Thai and it was drenched in sauce, the chicken and the tofu has sort of a crusty, old, chewy texture to it and I ended up throwing away half of my lunch! My last few experiences have been similar but today was the final straw. The manager/owner guy seems like a really nice guy but the food is flat out terrible now.

    (1)
  • Michael K.

If you like Americanized Thai food, this is your place. Nothing authentic about the food, flavor is uninspiring. Service is very friendly, and prices are cheap (likely because portions are small), but if you actually like real, authentic Thai food, go elsewhere.

    (2)
  • Manu M.

This place is very near to my office and i went here with my collegues. One of them just loves this place. I had the basil chicken which tasted just ok. The portions seemed smaller compared to other restaurants of same type. I went starving, so was not satisfied completely.

  • Fred F.

This place is always goo serice is nice and when i have ordred appetizers that come in an odd number to what is in my partythey usually give me one more to even things out. Food is fresh and tasty one thing the medium is hot and the hot is HOT

A simple square building at the corner of an older rundown strip mall, I would drive by every day to the smell of fish cooking. On a whim because we were short on time, my better half and I stopped by for lunch. The acoustics in there is overwhelming as everyone's voices bounced from wall to wall to ceiling to floor. There is a patio area that may be a better alternative if the place is too crowded and loud. We both ordered the Pad See Eew for $7.50 and it came quickly with plenty of steam to indicate it came right off the burner. It had just enough spice kick and the beef was flavorful and tender although we both agreed the sodium level was too high. I must self confess a pet peeve of mine now. I absolutely see no reason why Chinese bean sprouts are served with the root still attached. The dish was topped with them so I spent a few minutes picking off each root before I could start eating. As I finished my last bite I was left wanting more as the portion size was a bit smaller than normal. Overall the structure and taste was very good but I did not enjoy the noise. A larger portion would've also made my belly happier as well.

  • Rocky M.

Great lunch spot. In my opinion, curry is the best thing to get. Green, Massaman, or Panang curries are all good. I like it spiced hot; tried the Thai hot before and it was just a bit too intense. Always had good service. This is very popular with everyone I work with for lunch. Great place for the $7 price tag.

  • Garret G.

The place is a dump, the food is mediocre, the service is atrocious rude and incompetent. They can't get take out orders correct and are rude to you about it to boot. Don't waste your time. It's horrible. The employees have a bad attitude and can barely do their job.

  • Pat D.

This is a staple of my DTC lunch repertoire. The food is simple and delicious while not breaking the bank. I have dined here numerous times both during the lunch hour on a weekday and while nursing a hangover on the weekend. Below are the items that I recommend: *Pad Thai (Best pad thai I've had in Denver) *Combo Fried Rice *Basil Chicken Note: *Stay away from the Teriyaki Chicken. I was pretty disappointed. *Thai Hot spiciness can fluctuate is how spicy it is.

  • Kara K.

Tried to come for a quick bite (been here before, so I know the food is fast) an was rudely asked if I planned to take my food to go. It was twenty minutes until their doors were closing, and I said no, I was going to have a quick dinner there. The lady up front said "no, it's 15 minutes til closing". I stood there appalled.. With my clock on my phone clearly showing otherwise.. In any case I will not return. The mediocre food is definitely not worth rude service.

  • Casey D.

As I have never been to Thailand, I can't vouch for the authenticity of this little Thai grill but I would compare it to Thai Basil. The only problem I had was they said that the spicy choice was a dangerous decision and that ordering it may be painful. Being the risk taker that I am, I ordered the "spicy" green curry chicken and......... eh. Del Taco sauce is hotter. As for the flavor on the other hand... it was great! And there was plenty of food for a decent price.

  • John M.

Tuk tuk is consistently good and high quality at a good price. Bellco rainbow rewards give you percentage back. Their grilled sesame tofu is great, curries are good, combo fried rice thai hot (hell yeah) is awesome. VERY busy at lunch, get there and get in line before 11:30 or you'll wait for a table.

Great Thai food. Haven't had anything there I didn't like. The only con is that it gets a little loud in the restaurant. Sounds echo very easily.

Had the Garlic Chicken. Bland. Really bland. Why so afraid of flavor!? Have had some great garlic chicken, but this isn't it.

A staple for the tech center; fast, tasty and easy in-and-out. A must for me when stopping in at Micro Center next door... Though I hadn't thought of that until just now!

This is one of my favorite places in the area. I'm addicted to the green curry. The iced tea is delicious as well.

  • Jenn M.

Though located in a run down little strip mall plaza by DTC, Tuk Tuk should not be overlooked when in search of some decent Thai food. They have a great menu (for both meat lovers and vegetarians) and are not afraid to put a good deal of spice in your dish if you ask for it hot. The Drunken Noodles never disappoint, the Pad Thai is really flavorful, and tofu dishes are yummy and well prepared. The food is quick to come out and the portions just the right size.

  • Barb B.

Tuk Tuk is one of my favorite lunch spots in the Tech Center. I actually think their Pad Thai is better than most places in Denver except Wild Ginger. My only complaint about it is that sometimes Hot means Mild and sometimes Hot means Burn your Brains out. Also the chicken is a bit dry sometimes and if you add veggies the veggies are a very random mix. But still very tasty. Also the food comes out very quickly which is nice because most of the time I am about to eat my arm when lunchtime arrives!

  • Dr. Stephen H.

This restaurant always lives up to its reputation. Always great food and great service. While I usually order "to go" the food is hot and fresh. Best tasting Asian cuisine that I have had anywhere except when I lived in Japan, and it is better than a lot of those restaurants as well. I will continue to go here as I doubt that there is anyplace better.

At my last job, there were lots of things to anticipate. Faxes, emails, phone calls, spreadsheets, blah de blah blah blah. But most of all, around lunch time, I anticipated hearing a simple question from my hungry coworkers"Tuk Tuk anyone?" This place is a DTC landmark! Well, at least it was in my office. Apparently other people in the DTC like it too, because if you get there after 11:45, the line is out the door! If you get there by 11:30, you're golden. You can have any seat you want, and you get your food in about 5 min. My favorite dish is by far the basil chicken. Yum yum and YUM. The chicken is cut up into really small pieces. The better to coat in sauce, my dear. Let's face it, when it comes to food like this, the meat and veggies are just a vehicle for the sauce. The more surface area, the more spicy, yet sweet and savory sauce you can get in each and every bite. Usually, when it comes to take out or quick service meals, I'm not into appetizers. This place changed me. You must try their summer rolls. They are so fresh and fantastic, especially on a hot summer day. The cold lettuce and shrimp just burst in your mouth. Oh boy oh boy! Usually, I am not a fan of the Thai iced tea. I hesitated to get the Tuk Tuk iced tea, thinking it would be similar. It is nothing like what I expected. It is fantastic. Its a fruity concoction or orange juice, pineapple juice and lemon juice mixed with the perfect blend of cloves, cinnamin and jasmine tea. Even after I stopped working in the DTC, I still make time to head south to the nearest Tuk Tuk for some takeout. I don't see that changing any time soon!

Ick, we have had a few bad experiences here, but this was the worst. My Pad Thai was full of liquid and tasted funny and my husbands Teriyaki Chicken had bones in it. We won't come back again.

  • Kristn K.

This "fast food thai" is perfect for what it is-- it is meant to be a place to go for lunch (or a fast dinner) and caters to business people in the tech center who are on a time schedule. Its right next to "Microcenter", in the front part of a parking lot of a strip mall. My only complaint is that it can get pretty noisy and crowded. But seriously, come on-- we are talking about a place to get lunch in the tech center, where you can meet your friends / coworkers, and have a good time. We are not talking fancy ambience. We are talking really good food. The service is good, the quality is good, there are a lot of choices, and it seems pretty healthy and fresh (not greasy). I've been there once a week (give or take) since it opened, and I'll keep going back. I love their spring rolls (not the fried ones) and pad thai, but there are a lot of other great options too. Like I said, its perfect for what it is-- but if you go there, you should make sure you know what it is.

  • Jason W.

tuk tuk, what happened? i use to love eating at your restaurant... have had several bad experiences... you lost me. pad thai was ok, but portion was 1/2 size. spicy tuna had razor thin slices of tuna. sesame chicken should have been named fried sesame bread.

    (2)
  • Tsun T.

This is the BEST THAI place in DTC. i go here at least once a week for lunch. I always order either Pineapple fried rice or Sesame chicken, both are fantastic. You should also try the thai tea as well. If you want to order an appertizer, order the fried egg roll, pretty good.

Weak, Watered Down, White-man's Thai. Seriously, it's the tokyo joes of thai food and that's being nice. We ate here earlier this year and at an empty restaurant got slow service (-1 Star) found the menu to be lacking traditional thai beverages (-1 Star) and finally and most importantly the Pad Thai that all these other yelpers are raving about came out bland, light on chicken and needed more spice (-1 Star) Game Over, a so called Thai place that serves mild bland chicken-less Pad Thai, Boo. There is no reason to eat here when there is a phenomenal Thai Restaurant less than 1 minute away. Thai Lotus is on Belleview and Yosemite give it a try instead, you won't be disappointed.

    (2)
  • Alfredo G.

I went here based on Yelp reviews and you didn't let me down. I tried the chicken pad Thai with medium sauce and it was delicious. It was actually spicy, too. So I believe others when they say to be careful with the Thai spicy sauce. Sure, it was a bit Americanized, but it's still good. There's plenty of parking and I didn't get a long line at 12:30pm like I feared. One of my coworkers, as I found out afterward, is already a fan of Tuk Tuk. A couple of other coworkers recommended it as well. I'll definitely be going back.

    (4)
  • Wil B.

Glorious Tuk Tuk, a lunch time favorite for me. I generally stick with the Pad Thai, because it is some of the best I have had. I have ventured to other parts of their menu and was pleased but found myself longing for the chicken/tofu combination of the Pad Thai. The only reason I don't award a five star rating is because there mild, medium, and hot ratings seem to vary a lot. I almost always order hot and the heat factor is inconsistent. Sometimes it should be called mild others it should be called "By the Beard Of Zeus" that's hot.

Kinda like the Chipotle of Thai food. Somewhere between a full-fledged sit-down restaurant (they do table service) and a take-out place. The food is "Thai" in the same way Chipotle is "Mexican". The ingredients are reasonably fresh: the tofu is surprisingly good quality, for example. They kinda skimp on the basil, though (I think I had one leaf in my entire dish today), and the flavors are noticeably suburbanized (and in addition I'm not willing to overlook their use of bowtie semolina pasta--like you would use in Italian food--for the drunken noodles instead of traditional rice noodles). Service is pretty quick and attentive, though, and it's pretty cheap so all in all a good value and definitely edible, even if it's pretty standard and a little watered-down (it's Denver, after all, so anything past soy sauce and sriracha is a stretch).

  • Flavio G.

A really good Thai food, fast and walking distance from the office for a reasonable price. Nice and friendly staff. Everything I need for lunch time. I had Garlic Chicken with Vegetable, more than tasty, I can say it was above my expectations. Really like it! They also have option of salads, soups and wraps, not mention the desserts. Tuk Tuk, I will be back soon!

    (4)
  • James H.

Tuk Tuk Thai Grill is a moderately priced change of pace from the other DTC lunch spots. The only thing to remember about Tuk Tuk is to get there early. Showing up right at 12:00pm will have you waiting in a line usually out the door to place your order. The seating area is somewhat small, however a seat on the patio with spring rolls and their spicy noodles are the best. Tuk Tuk has been on tap for those late lunches and the portions are very generous for a lunch spot.

    (4)
  • Hans R.

I'm a huge fan of this place! The Tuk Tuk Iced Tea is an awesome combination of spices. It's kinda like a pineapple juice/chai like concoction. Simply awesome! Very Tasty spring rolls and love their basil chicken.

  • Felicia F.

OMG. I Love this place. I had food from there for the first time on Saturday. I had sesame chicken, tempura shrimp rolls, Green Curry and Peanut curry. All the dishes were very yummy, and the sesame chicken looked like actually chicken. There was no confusion on what we had order, and the service was quick. I suggest going on weekends, I have heard that during the week, this place gets pretty packed.

Food is ok but not great. Found it to be a little pricy.

  • Jenni S.

My sister and her co-workers go here on a regular basis and it's crazy with the DTC lunch crowd. We went for dinner so it wasn't very busy. Curry puffs, dumplings, pad see eew and banana wraps were all good. The portion size for the pad see eew was big enough for the two of us to share, or eat half and save some leftovers. Keep an eye out because they show up on Groupon Now quite a bit so you can save a little money off your order!

    (4)
  • Ben M.

I eat Tuk Tuk probably once a week - our admin usually drives to pick it up and brings it back (so I can't comment on the speed of the service and what not...) That said Tuk Tuk is reasonable priced, tastes great and has well sized portions. All and all an excellent lunch option if you work in the DTC.

  • Heather M.

We dropped in here for dinner a few nights ago. The staff seemed very undertrained at their job, and rather uninterested in it as well. The tables were in desperate need of being straightened, giving the a very messy feel to the place. The presentation of the food was excellent, but the taste wasn't there. Everything just seemed to be lacking.. nothing I'd be excited to go back to.

Fast food Thai. Nothing too impressive here. Thai food cooked by anyone who was there to train with the cook. No chef quality food here. Edible, American style Pad Thai. Slow service for dining in or take out.

    (2)
  • Ryan R.

Very casual atmosphere, with modern decor. The food was great and the prices were better! I had Fried Rice and my companion had Pad Thai. We both would return.

    (5)
  • Yoi K.

The best pad thai I've ever had. It comes with tofu and chicken and can be mild or spicy. It has lots of flavor and I alway squeeze the lime on top for some zest. I've tried their tom ka soup and a beef dish - was not impressed. I'll stick to pad thai.

    (3)
  • Eric K.

Really good pad thai. I've had a couple other items off their menu and they were ok/good, but their pad thai is really, really, really good!

i could almost give this place 5 stars, but since we ordered out, i'll give it 4. the food here is really good. i was really impressed. such a wide variety of flavors. my mouth is watering just thinking of this place. we ordered a variety of dishes (from the wontons to chicken curry dishes to vegetable dishes WOW), and i can't think of one thing that wasn't delicious. GET IN MY BELLEY. no wonder i'm such a fat pig. anyways, the desserts are insane too. there's a dessert of sweet rice and mango. INSANE. i couldn't stop eating it. i had never tried that sweet rice before WOW. GO here!

Oh yeah. We moved from our slick downtown office to the burbs / tech center. Yikes. Fortunately we stumbled across Tuk Tuk. It's a bit like a Wahoo's for Thai fusion. Great food quality, quick to make it, and good value. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect lunch spot, and the food comees out quick. The prices are great. I usually get pad thai or a panang curry. Not all of the items on the menu deserve 5 stars but for overall hard to beat on a lunch break. If your looking for dinner or to hang out there are better Thai places.

After driving by a few times, I though this would be the spot for a Saturday lunch. We were greated quickly and told to sit anywhere we want. The menu had some variety. I like that there are kid meal options. My two companions enjoyed there meals. For the price, I felt that the servings were on the small part. It was very fast service-which sometime scare me. I tasted each and thought the flavor was good. The rice was on the dry side. I had spicy tuna and this was the first time I've seen chili powder on the outside of the rice to make it spicy. The waitstaff was super fast and refilled the water and soda quickly. The A-OK rating is based off of price, serving size, dry rice, and interpretation of spicy tuna.

My favorite dishes: 1. Extra spicy pad Thai 2. Sesame chicken and white rice 3 Combo fried rice. Overall Tuk Tuk has been my favorite spot for Thai food in Denver. It's reasonable prices and excellent food is why I keep going back. During lunch hours it's order and the counter and its brought to you. It is a great $7-$9 lunch. For dinner you actually have a waiter and they bring you the food. Sort of odd they change it for dinner but it's never busy during dinner. Watch out for the lunch grows this place gets packed! Try anything you won't be disappointed.

Two words: "Roach Infestation." And that's coming from the health inspector, who paid a visit after my husband found a roach in his Pad Thai almost two weeks ago (which was, disgustingly enough, discovered when he was about halfway through his meal). My hubs kept saying that his dish was the worst Pad Thai he'd ever had there (and he probably goes there about every other week) - even the tofu looked wrong. They also got my order wrong, but that's nothing compared to actual ROACHES IN THE FOOD. Tuk Tuk's response? "The exterminator is coming tomorrow." Funny enough, according to the health inspector, that's the same thing they told him when he visited late last week after the roach incident. Unless roaches are your thing, I'd skip this place forever. I'm certainly not ever going back.

Great service. I had the Chicken Satay And Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. Both were pretty good. I was surprised to see a steak knife at an Asian restaurant. Plating and presentation were not as good as other Thai restaurants I've been to. Price was reasonable. I will be back

Quick but not fast food. Super tasty and affordable. During lunch it can be pretty busy so order ahead of you need to save time. You can order typical Asian food here but if you stick to the Thai menu you'll get delicious food that is more unique. The Massaman beef has some wonderful flavor and even though it says curry it is not hot if you order it mild to medium. If you want some heat on your lunch ask for Thai hot but you'll probably need a beer to cool that burn.

After being hurriedly seated, the service was very sparse, it appeared that only two employees were working at this location, one was the cook and the other was the waiter/cashier. The latter must have been new since he kept on interrupting the cook on how to operate the cash register and other things. I ordered the combo plate which the menu stated was filled with beef, chicken, pork and shrimp. But upon eating my meal I was only able to find one shrimp and only a few pieces of other meats, the rest of the plate was filled with over 99% rice topped with a few vegetable shavings. As being one of the most expensive things on their menu, I was expecting a lot more than just a big pile of fried rice with a few pieces of meat and some vegetables. This was disappointing since this place came highly recommended.

I wanted Thai Food and seen this place. Its somewhat of a Restaurant with a Self Service feel. Well I ordered a Salmon Roll and a California Roll as an Appetizer. It was good. Not high end but then sushi isnt their speciality. Now on to my Chicken Pad Thai. It was delicious. Fresh chicken, well cooked noodles. Seasoned perfectly. Next time ill order a little more sauce for it. Customer service was good. You pay at the register on your way out as well.

Reliably decent food, but rarely great. Good flavors and pretty quick service. We have had meals here twenty times in the last 4 years. Usually we go here for a tasty lunch, but occasionally we get a craving for Thai and pick up an evening meal to bring home. The chicken dishes tend to be our favorites.

Terrible service!! 7/12/2015, evening crew clearly just didn't want to take our money...and going forward this establishment will never see it again. The Kid at the register actually told us ( a full half hour prior to close) that our order normally would have been taken at the table but since they were trying to close he'd take it at the register...nope, bad move. Clearly illustrating that he simply wanted us to order and leave, god only knows what extra ingredients we may have found in our dinner. After working service industry jobs for a decent portion of my life, this attitude was unforgivable...we left, this place clearly tolerates their staff acting like lazy kids. We had eaten here bfore, during the day and found it to be tasy and decent service, but after this we'll never step foot in there again.

Food was ok, but service took forever! Had an order for takeout that was cooked quickly, but for some inexplicably reason it took 10 minutes to put a box in a bag. By the time I finally got my food, the fried appetizers became kinda gummy. I hate writing a bad review, but I hate weak service and I don't think I'm being overly picky.

Tuk Tuk Thai Grill ~ I crave this place anytime I am in Denver! I found this place when I was presenting at a conference. Now every time from attending conferences to even when I change planes from going snowboarding, the food is so tasty I make it a point to stop by. It is not the most aesthetically pleasing place. But the spring rolls and Pad Thai are amazing! The sauce for the spring rolls tingle your taste buds. Awakens them for the upcoming pad thai where the flavors tantalizes your tongue and satisfies your appetite. Tuk Tuk thai Grill is a must when in Denver!

Tuktuk has really gone down hill over the past year. They still get my business from time to time due to their convenient location in proximity to my home. Usually the Pad Thai or Basil Chicken are sure fire winners (unlike the Teriyaki Chicken, which I wouldn't recommend to anyone). I ordered Chicken Pad Thai "hot" this time and it wasn't anything special. First, it wasn't spicy at all. I ordered "Thai hot" once and it was nearly inedible it was so spicy, but now hot isn't even hot. Pad Thai is already a sweeter dish, so I need that hot for balance. Second, the egg wasn't mixed in well and there were large chunks of brown/black egg rather than delicately cooked egg throughout the dish. Very poor balance. Lastly, the chicken was dry. I do like however how they put tofu in the dish at no extra charge. Management and staff were very friendly tonight, as they usually are. I hope they take the time to retrain their kitchen staff, before Tuktuk becomes like many other so-so restaurants in DTC that have closed their doors.

I love this place! I have lived near and eaten here frequently for about 7 years. Seriously, hands down worth every penny. Service and food are both phenomenal. I highly recommend ordering your dish hot if you like food spicy. You can't go wrong with the drunken noodles, Mongolian beef, Pad Thai, or really anything else. Everyone that works here is super nice and very helpful. Service is also incredibly quick. Have I mentioned yet how much I love this place? :)

I can only speak to the pad thai and pad see ew, but I'd have to say that this is like the McD's of Thai food. Maybe my standards are too high, having lived in Thailand, but I always come hungry and leave full but unsatisfied. Portions are huge--I made the mistake of ordering mango and sticky rice with my meal the first time and couldn't finish either--but a lot of it is bean sprouts, plus baby corn, green peppers, and bok choy, which to me don't belong. The seasoning and cooking are also inconsistent, sometimes too saucy and other times almost flavorless or a little charred. The service is ok... After the first couple times I decided to do take out. The people at the counter are always very friendly at the counter, but don't seem too excited to be waiting tables, another reason it reminds me of a fast food joint. All in all, good in a pinch but not the real deal.

Have Thai fairly often and thought to try Tuk Tuk. Found it on yelp. Great flavors! Check out the Tom Yum Shrimp soup. They say this is the definitive intro dish for good to follow and now I understand. Granted not your warm restaurant experience in terms of decor, but that's ok, the good food explains why this place has been here over 10 years!

I have been going here for about 6 years now and they never fail to satisfy. I love their pad thai, curry, and sesame tofu! You can customize how spicy you want everything too. Great customer service and delicious food. Don't miss out!

The last few times I have eaten there were nightmares. The servers were unable to tell me which meals contained gluten, and which could be made gluten free. After ordering, and both times receiving my meal, the first time being drunken noodles made with regular wheat containing soy sauce and the second, some lame veggie dish with a white cream sauce, that was flour based.. When ordering, the server guaranteed the drunken noodles could be done gluten free, and the veggie dish would be made special to avoid using gluten ingredients. Those were the last two times I will ever eat there, because of the disconnect between the server, and the cooks, in terms of the ingredients used.

I've eaten at Tuk Tuk several times over the past few years. It saddens me to say that they've really gone downhill with respect to the quality of food and service. When I first tried the pad thai years ago, I was so impressed. I figured this would be my go to spot for fast Thai. Well, my last visit has ensured that I will be going elsewhere from now on. I ordered pad thai and I asked for it to be spicy. What I got was barely edible - it was loaded up with hot red pepper flakes and had absolutely no flavor. I mean none whatsoever. How disappointing. I thought my crispy eggroll would be better. That didn't happen either. I hate eggrolls with that hard thick wrapper. It wasn't good at all. I really have nothing nice to say about this last meal. It was truly a waste of my money. I don't know if the restaurant has changed ownership or just cooking staff. Either way, they need to do some quality control. There is better Thai to be had in the DTC area.

What happened, Tuk Tuk? This used to be my go-to place for Thai food. It was close and decently priced enough that I went once every two weeks at least, picking up the Pad Thai or basil chicken. They were punctual and made consistently good meals. Then one day, my order was...lacking. The noodles of my pad thai were inconsistently cooked - some were normal, but others were completely underdone and very tough. The sauce was INCREDIBLY sweet and thick. Gone was even the hint of spiciness I used to like before. I wonder if some poor person who ordered dessert got a spicy tiramisu? The spring rolls, too, had been shortchanged. They were smaller with skimpier ingredients. Two shrimp shrunk down to one. I was amazed they managed to downsize both volume and taste in a single stroke. Finally, the California rolls were tiny. I know sushi is supposed to be "bite size," but guys...come on. Come on, guys. Guys? Come on. I wrote them off after that meal and forgot about it for a few months. Just a few days ago, I let laziness and blind hope get the best of me (maybe it was just one time?) and picked up a very similar order with nearly identical results. I don't know if they changed chefs or what, but you should seek your Thai food elsewhere.

Not the fanciest place, but definitely satisfies your sushi/Thai craving if you're in the DTC area. Building is always clean, staff is always nice and the food is consistent.

I had veggie and tofu Pad Thai. Not too oily. Tons of veggies with a good mix. I got medium spice and probably could have handled hotter. Huge portion size! The outside of the building is deceiving.

The portion sizes seem to have gotten much smaller, but the prices haven't. My soup was way too small for $7.

I went to Tuk Tuk yesterday to pick up a take out order for 16 people for a sales meeting. First, everything was ready when we got there except for the drinks, which just took a couple more minutes. This is impressive, considering the lunch crowds at this place (we picked up at 11:45am)! Secondly, the staff there labeled EVERYTHING, including drinks, with each person's name. I was beyond impressed with this thoughtful touch. Clearly, they were very busy, yet they still took the time to go the extra mile to do this. Last, the food was delicious! I had the chicken satay, and my direct associates had a beef wrap and the drunken noodles (beware, though, the drunken noodles come with a bow-tie-type pasta instead of flat noodles). The clients we took the food to raved about their choices as well. We have regular sales meetings in the DTC area, so we'll surely be back! Thanks Tuk Tuk, for amazing customer service, good food, and great prices!

Hmmmmm, a tale of two visits, here we go! We went to Tuk Tuk and ended up being the only table there on a Saturday night. I thought that was a bit odd but soon it turned into a comforting experience since we talked with the staff a majority of the evening and service was awesome. This place looks like an old school place that is trying to revamp their image however I hope they don't revamp their menu or prices. Their entrees are under $10 and I got a huge portion of pad thai for $7! I would definitely pass on the sushi, we got the tuna roll and it was bland and the tuna was a questionable color. I don't like the word questionable coming up when I'm eating something raw but that's just me. We left bellies full with some food still left to nosh on later, oh happy day! Fast forward to a couple weeks later and I suggest Tuk Tuk to one of my friends for lunch. Rut roh, this was a bad idea. I think everyone else in the DTC area must have caught word that we were going there and decided to follow because this place was absolutely bananas. They didn't have enough room in the front to form a line so it was going out the door and there weren't any tables available. The process of ordering this time around was different, order and pay at the cashier which is quite alright with me because I'm all about being efficient when I have limited time. If only the rest of the experience was like that......10 minutes later we're still waiting on our food. We both ordered pad thai and one came out before the other so there was the awkward conversation of who should have it and what not. We finally got the second one and we talked while scarfing down our food so I could get back to the office in time. The pad thai was still slamming this time around but it was just a completely different experience from dinner time. I will be ordering to go from them in the future during lunch time because you just can't beat quality, $7 pad thai!

My buddy and I stopped by for a quick supper earlier. He ordered Tuk Tuk Vegie and I tried the Wing appetizer and shrimp pad thai. The taste is ok, a tad bland, but that's probably because we both ordered them mild. Price is ok for the area too. The service was good. This place deserves a 3 star at least... If our experience would have stopped there. But nooooo.. As I am typing now, I am experiencing what the poor third world country folks would call butt pissing! For the mother of god make it stop. I texted my buddy, wondering if it may have been just my first world sensitive and weak stomach... Nope, he is in an upright fetal position on his fancy Koehler toilet. No way this is coincidence as we aren't Siamese twins. Sorry tuk tuk, I used to like you, but I will not go back for I cannot afford this kind of volume of toilet paper!

It takes a lot to compare to Swing Thai in my book, and I must say, Tuk Tuk is fast becoming one of my favorite places to go. Their pad thai is hotter than Bradley Cooper at the beach with no shirt. The service here is pretty good, we did wait quite a while for our food but our server was extremely communicative and let us know that the kitchen was running a little behind, which made it all much more bearable. And seriously, as soon as the pad thai arrived, I was in heaven and I didn;t care how long it took for them to bring me this spicy deliciousness. My portion was so big that I had the leftovers for lunch for the next two days..so it's worth every little dollar you spend. If you haven't been here yet, you need to go. Don't let the exterior fool you...this is definitely worth checking out.

This is my favorite Asian place in the Tech Center. Prices are a little high for what you get, especially if you try the sticky rice with mango. Everything tastes good. The fried rice is addictive. I love the fried rice, massaman and green curries, basil chicken, and egg rolls. The online menu is missing a bunch of items you can see on the menu at the restaurant, including the tasty lo mein. I prefer to take my food to go. Eating in the restaurant is a little uncomfortable for me. The ambiance is cold and hard, sound carries way too much, and the wait staff I don't think is really wait staff, just someone who brings the food to your table and then you have to tip. It also gets crazy busy during lunch time.

My husband and his friends from work really enjoy this Thai food place. Good thai food and not too expensive with a casual atmosphere. I enjoyed my classic pad thai but have also enjoyed the crab wontons too when I am especially hungry. Portion sizes are mroe than adequate for the price.

I tried this spot for the first time today. The counter service was great, the gal was very friendly. I ordered pad thai medium spicy and thai iced tea. The pad thai was too sweet yet had the perfect amount of spice. You can't mess up thai ice tea so that was a breeze. I was disappointed in the pad thai, it was too sweet that I didn't eat too much of it.

Very inexpensive, large lunch portions, And the appetizers were not skimpy. It would get a 5 but the atmosphere is a little eat and run. But for lunch it is a great place especially if you are limited for time, the service is very fast for a great hot meal.

All of our food was tasty; we got three appetizers because they all sounded amazing. Curry puffs, Bangkok wings, and crab cheese wontons. All were great, and the wings looked and smelled very spicy, but ended up being very sweet and flavorful. We all got the sesame chicken as our entree, and one of us got the hot. The waiter acted like that was daring, but my friend ended up thoroughly enjoying it, and it wasn't very hot to him. The only thing that I took stars away for was service. Our waiter was attentive, but he was very awkward and lingered a bit too long. Also, when he went to put the plates on the table, it was like he was handing them to us... waiting for us to grab them and not just setting them on the table. It was a little strange. Other than that, though, this place was great and I'm sure we'll be back due to it's close proximity to my friend's apartment.

I've been here 3 times already and realized that I've never written a review for this place. I was introduced to this place by a co-worker who raved about this place. We finally went on a late lunch excursion a few months ago and tried it out for lunch. On my first experience, I enjoyed the food, but with service, I wasn't sure if my server just didn't understand me or wasn't paying attention as she did everything possible to get my order wrong. The food was good and I knew I would come back, but the first experience was a little daunting. My favorite Thai meal is Massamun curry, which is what I ordered here. I have a preference for brown rice over white rice and I don't care for spicy food. I specifically asked the waitress if they had brown rice, which she told me yes. When I placed my order, I asked for brown rice and when asked the spice level, I asked for mild. Instead, my order came with a medium spicyness and white rice. I was a bit flabbergasted, and asked them to correct. They finally did and got that corrected version to go. Thankfully the appetizers helped to quell my lunchtime hunger. I returned a second time with my boyfriend for dinner to go and we were both pleased with our dinner. I recently went back a third time for a late lunch/dinner on the weekend and again was happy with my same favorite, Massamun Currry. It's pretty good, but it's definitely not Wild Ginger which is my gold standard for Thai food in Denver. As it's close to my house, I'm sure I'll be back.

Sesame Tofu!!! This is the only Tuk Tuk location that has this special at lunch! Soooo yummy, great amount of spice - ask for it hot! I've been coming here for years (not sure how i haven't reviewed it yet) and i always the same thing! Sesame Tofu - Hot! They'll charge extra if you add veggies. (i know, why bother) Different setup than the other Tuk Tuk's - you order, pay, get a number, move down the animal stockade, get your drinks, and then pick your table. Always crowded! Go early or late! Or get take out! They are not around too often on the water patrol, but are quick to retrieve your empty plate! Small but cute patio - again, fills up quick, so go early! I love the food, so i'll be back time and again.

I was here on business and one of my colleagues said it was her favorite place to eat when she worked here. I decided to check it out for dinner. It was empty when I was there, but reading the reviews, it looks it is more busy during lunch time. I decided to order the garlic chicken with vegetables over rice which was non-spicy. It was a good, not mind-blowing, but good. Chicken was tender and the vegetables with good crunch. I would definitely be back if I came back here for business. I want to try one of their drinks next time.

So very disappointing. Ordered shrimp wraps and got a burrito... It had so many random things inside it was unappetizing. The drunken noodles tasted like fish that had gone bad. I threw both dishes away after taking one bite. The other dishes we ordered tasted as if they were prepared hours ago and had been sitting out under heat lamps. We will NEVER go back.

3.5 stars really. the cashew and chicken tastes fresh. the ambiance is just slightly shy of a mcdonalds or gas station but the food is compelling. I'd go back but not when its crowded at 12 noon...the food court feel detracts from the food.
