Serious best place for thai food. I've just moved back to Denver after being gone for 3 years and the waitress remembered me like it was yesterday even remembered what I usually order after 3 years. The food is still the same thank GOD cause it was perfection to begin with. PAD THAI 5 STARS. Spring rolls 5 stars and there peanut sauce will make you question every peanut sauce you have eaten before. Its like Frank's hot sauce. " I put that sh*t on everything ď"

Very clean, friendly, and fast. Food was delicious and fresh. I had the chicken fried rice with medium spice. Support your local family owned Thai shop!

The first time I ordered delivery from them must have been a fluke. Every other attempt has been a major fail. After confirming the order, I receive a phone call saying that they are unable to deliver. Their food is tasty, but I'm done trying. I agree with many of the other reviews for delivery: don't bother.

Found this restaurant on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The dining room is small but nice. The only server was very friendly and service was pretty fast. We had egg drop soup, Tom Dun, panang chicken, and Tom Yum soup. All of the dishes were served hot and fast. I ordered the Tom Dun based on another review on here and I'm glad I did. Really good flavor and the dipping sauce was sweet and a tiny bit spicy. The panang had a hint of fish sauce, which is new to me for panang. I enjoyed it because it gave it a bit of saltiness. Great food, good service, easy to find location. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Very nice place. I only ate there once. Very close by to my hotel the Hampton Inn. The green chicken curry was very nice and the lady who waited on me was super sweet. I will go back again when I'm here in two weeks.

Marginal thai food. Lacked flavor. Green curry was flat, thai hot was a joke, main ingredient was bamboo. Wouldn't come back.

So I don't know why this place doesn't have at least a full four stars. It's a little quaint restaurant tucked away that you probably would not notice when driving by but I can tell you that they have the best Pad Thai that I've had in a very very long time.

I've eaten here twice now. It's a super convenient Thai place for me, because I have to drive past it to get home from work. My first experience was delightful! I ordered take out pad thai, and it lasted me three meals! Yumm! It was delicious, and if it wasn't for my second experience I would be giving Thai Pan 5 stars. My second experience was good, but not quite what I remembered. This time I got the calamari salad.. I guess I should have known better, and ordered something that I knew. It was... good... but just not what I expected. Warning: The calamari on the calamari salad is not fried! Overall... I will definitely be coming back for the Pad Thai take out, but skipping all their iceberg lettuce salads from now on.

After a coworker got me hooked on pad Thai from Tommy Thai's, I have been wanting to try pad Thai at other places. I drive past this place called Thai Pan sometimes to go to work and figured with a name like that, they should have some good pad Thai. Wrong. The food was horrible. A large portion of beautiful looking pad Thai that had zero flavor. I mean absolutely zero. It was completely bland. Grossly bland. The service wasn't any better. The woman wouldn't come out to serve the tables, you had to go to the counter. It was awkward for a sit down restaurant. Once I started eating the awful food, I heard that woman yelling at someone in the back of the restaurant. She was back there for roughly 20 minutes screaming her head off, ignoring everyone in the dining area. I waited to pay the bill till she was done yelling and came out front. No apology. No smile. Not thank you for coming. Well, I won't be back there to experience anything that awful again. I wouldn't suggest stopping here unless you have no taste buds or hearing.

I hate iced tea out of a fountain...it's important to mention to people who order iced tea that that's what you have so they can change their minds. Fried calamari was close to being spot on but the fryer was not quite hot enough, so it got just the slightest bit over cooked and under golden. Needed salt too. I ordered pad Thai hubby ordered massaman curry. Pad Thai was a little too saucy and sweet. Fortunately I have been served a lime in the past, so I realize this is the solution. We need lime and chilies because it's just not hot enough. It was okay. We decided to go to the Asian market and make our own. I'm over spending $45 on Thai dinner out for two.

Really delicious food, I love the pineapple and massaman curries. While the online delivery is convenient (though they do not always have a delivery person, as they tend to have a very small staff- I'd advise calling to check), I really like the ambience of the restaurant: it's quite small, but intimate, clean, and lovely without being overly formal or casual. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is always completely wonderful. It's very conveniently located and I eat there at least once every few weeks.

I eat here for lunch a few times a year and I have never left disappointed. Today I sit here eating the Mingolian Beef stir fry and it is so good I am inspired to YELP. The service is outstanding, the store is clean and clutterless. I highly recommend this establishment!!!

This did not go well. I placed an on-line order using Yelp Delivery at 7:30PM. I received an email confirmation which said delivery would take 45 minutes. Not a problem. Soon after I received a call from the restaurant telling me that my order would take 2 hours. They suggested that I pick up the order and they would, as a courtesy take the tip off the credit card bill. I always tip cash so that selling point went nowhere. I told the caller that I ordered delivery specifically so I wouldn't have to pick up the meal. I was then told that the food would arrive in 45 minutes. Back to square one. Two hours later, at 10:00 PM, the food arrived. I suspect the "if you pickup" is their default response. I emailed Yelp Delivery (it may have been a chat) but I got no response. Not sure when Yelp launched the delivery service, but right now it's not quite ready for prime time.

I first started coming here with my boyfriend. He was already a regular, coming here at least weekly. The nicest little lady of a waitress has his order memorized - sesame chicken, spicy hot. He gets it every time, and I can see why - I would say it's the best in Denver. I mix it up every time we go together, and I haven't been disappointed. From the Pa Nang curry to Kung pao chicken, we've always been impressed. I can easily say Thai Pan is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver. I always recommend dining in if possible. The sweet little waitress is one of the best parts! She always is quick and smiling. Since it is so locally owned and ran, they can be a bit slow with delivery! I have had times where I've ordered delivery and it had taken a little too long where it also compromised the food - so I urge everyone to try this gem in person. :)

Fed hungry rugby players with delicious, spicy, Thai food. The Birds Nest was awesome. The Pad Thai plates were tasty and large. Good choice!

Massaman curry was incredible. Authentic Thai food and the friendliest of service. Happy to have found these guys!

While the Thai tea was large, the food was just ok. Ordered the massaman curry, pad thai, and crab ragoons. The pad thai was inedible, it was very sweet and tangy like vinager. The curry was ok. Very large bowl to share but never brought any bowls, had to eat soup off of a plate.

Ordered for delivery and it took over 2 hours for the order to get to my apartment... After about an hour we had to call and see what was going on. They had JUST started preparing our food at that point. We were so hungry when it finally arrived that we couldn't sit down to start eating fast enough. I thought that the level of hunger we had would make anything taste good, but that wasn't the case. I ordered fried rice and my friend ordered the bbq chicken. The chicken was dry and both were very nearly flavorless. Overall, everything needed more seasoning. Pretty disappointed.

I come for the Tom Yum Gun every time. And each time, it reminds me of my trip to Thailand. Quick food and friendly staff. My coworkers and I have never been disappointed during our visits.

I really wanted to like this place because the ppl were nice, I was really hungry & based off of the other reviews I was expecting Bangkok perfection . Once I dug into my food it became very clear that liking the food, even a little bit would be impossible 1st: I ordered the spring rolls & it was a weird shaped long, (pencil length), greasy, filing deprived, excuse for a spring roll. STRIKE 1. 2nd- I had the beef salad. The flavor was just ok. But it only had FOUR wilted pieces of lettuce & 6 beef slices for $9. That was a real rip off. STRIKE 2. 3rd- I had the Pad Thai (sooooo disappointing!) It was greasy, had eggs in it ( not tradit Thai) with shrimp (good taste) & scallops (unflavored, frost bitten, fishy, chewy taste) additionally I ordered heat temp of 4 it wasn't even slightly spicy. Pad Thai is a staple in Thai cusine how do u mess that up! ? STRIKE 3! 4th & Lastly I ordered the Thai tea.(Surely u can't mess that up right)? Nope! It tasted like old tea bags without sugar! STRIKE 4 $27 later I left hungry because I couldn't finish my meal it was gross! Overall the entire meal experience was a waste of money & DEFINITELY NOT GOOD OR REAL THAI FOOD. If you know real thai u would throw your meal away like I did. Sorry but thai pan gets 2 thumbs down

There is nothing that this place lacks. The service is excellent and the atmosphere cozy. The food is stellar and the price is incredible for the portion size that you receive (about 3 times that of other Thai places). I'm from out of town, but if I lived here, I would eat here very often. It's small, but has big taste!

I ordered delivery from Thai Pan through the Eat24 app for myself and my colleagues at a nearby church. The order arrived within 30 minutes. I had eggplant tofu, medium spicy. It wasn't very spicy, and was on the greasy side, but was really delicious. The vegetables were great. One of my colleagues ordered the BBQ chicken, which was almost a whole chicken! She said it was really good. Another colleague ordered the pad see euw with pork, and said it was great. Definitely a good option in the area, especially when you are pinched for time.

This was our first visit for lunch. They were located on E Mississippi Ave/S Colorado Blvd in Denver in a small strip mall. The tables had pretty Thai placemats and matching coasters. I presented my $15 Restaurant.com coupon that I bought in March and the server said that they no longer accept them. There was not a posted sign on the door. The lunch entrees came with soup or salad and a Thai Roll. My husband ordered the Egg Drop Soup. It had corn in it. I ordered the salad. It came with a soy ginger dressing on the side. My husband ordered the Chicken Pad Thai ($6.95). The noodles were a little over cooked and the sauce was a little too sweet. The amount of peanuts was skimpy. I ordered the Pork Massaman Curry Thai Hot ($7.25). The flavor was good, but it was no where near Thai Hot. It was more like medium. The curry had cubes of potatoes, a few whole peanuts, sliced onions, and carrots. The pork was okay, but chicken probably would have tasted better. The fried Thai Roll was about 7-8 inches long. It was piping hot. It was vegetarian and came with a sweet and sour sauce. We were given a small dish of complimentary dessert. It was almond jello and fruit. Service was good. The server checked on us several times and we got a water refill.

We randomly picked this spot, since we were so tired of all the American food that we had on this trip. I noticed that our waitress was really friendly and made sure that we were enjoying our food, refilled our drinks quickly, etc. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the portions were generous, and found the pad see ewe to have the perfect amount of sauce. We ordered beef for the choice of meat, and the cuts were thick and juicy. Very delicious. As for the red curry, I found that it had too much bamboo shoots, and had to pick them out. Other than that, it was sweet and savory, just right. I really loved that the waitress packs extra rice for your leftover curry. Other places would charge extra, but here they don't. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for some good quality Thai food.

Great place for good thai food. The lady who works there may be the nicest person in the world. I usually order the carry out, and it is ready in no time. Currys are great.

Couldn't deliver to my address, was too far. After apologizing and thinking they were another establishment, I hung up to call the other local Thai restaurant. She called me back to offer to drive out of her way on her way home for me. I was touched, but declined. A+++ customer service guys. I'll be in to actually dine soon! Had to share this awesome service with the yelpers.

I love this place and eat here regularly! They always accommodate my special requests, and the ingredients are high quality, especially the meat. Veggies are abundant and never over-cooked, they never let their oil get old & rancid. The owner even gave me a Christmas present last year. A long time favorite!

  • Courtney K.

I live in the neighborhood and come here frequently for take out. I have NEVER had to wait longer than 10 minutes, and most the time it's only 5 minutes from when I order to when I walk out the door. I have never dined in, but the portions are HUGE for take out, especially the curry dishes! For $9 I got 3 meals out of my curry. It's always fresh, fast, hot and tasty and I will continue coming here!

  • Nathan B.

I can rate the food on what I had. Thai basil was middle of the road on flavor. Needed more basil. Quality of food was great, just needed more flavor. Ragoons were good. Pad thai needed lime. Service was very good though, and that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 3. She even asked if we wanted something else in case we didn't like it. If I was to just base it on the taste of the food it would be a solid 3 stars.

  • Brett M.

Apparently they have a $25 minimum to deliver. My order totalled 23.57, and they refused to make an exception. I even offered to just let them charge me the full $25 just so i could get my food delivered. No dice. I had to order an additional item or they wouldn't deliver. So I told em to kick rocks. Must be nice to have such a busy place that you can turn down business like that.

  • Jonas D.

We ordered through Eat24 last night and were very unimpressed with the food. My pad thai was sour and almost had a spoiled taste. The drunken noodles we ordered were dry and very tasteless. Potstickers were the only really edible item we received thus the two stars. I would look to other options if you are considering thai for delivery or take out.

We dined in and the service was speedy and the food was good! I had the pineapple fried rice, medium heat and it was just right! They give you enough food for several meals and the price point is low

Me and my partner came here on wednesday evening, and the atmosphere proved airy, light and without music. generally nice. smal bar, mediocre service, and excellent food, where you can rate the spiciness from 1-10, which i appreciated as i am a total wuss about spice. the noodles were delicious, we both got egg rolls, edamame, and pad thai and were thoroughly satisfied. recommend it...!

I come in here for the giant portions, the freshness of the food and the authentic flavors. my go-to's are the pad thai and the massaman curry with extra potatoes. The one older lady that acts as server is friendly and takes good care of you. I have never eaten anything here i didn't like. Careful though, its tucked away next to a pizza hut, so really look out for it.

True hole in the wall place but I think we might have gone on the wrong day since there was only one lady there running the entire show--cooking, waiting on tables and cleaning--I was tired for her! We were the only table there originally then two more trickled for lunch on Sunday. We each ordered an eggroll and it was tasty, served with a sweet vinegar sauce. I could have had a few of these and a salad and called it a day! I ordered my standard chicken pad thai medium spice and the portion size was bonkers--easily enough for two or three meals--that's what I'm talking about! It was really sauce, a little sweet but not too spicy so that was a bummer but that's what hot sauce is for. My boo got the drunken noodles and it was right on point with the perfect balance of basil and spicy. As always I asked for a bite because I love the dish but not ready to commit to it for a full meal and it was delightful. All in all a solid place for Thai, I will definitely try it again and hope there are more people working that day.

  • Alex L.

This is your standard mom and pop shop for Thai Food. Drunken noodles with beef was spot on and they give enough for 2-3 servings for sure! There was only one waitress taking care of the dining room. Even though its a small place, even with three tables she seemed to be a bit shaken with two tables with couples and one with a large family. Overall a good experience. Will be looking forward to next time.

  • Kim R.

Not impressed. We placed our order online (which was handy) BUT.. They have a $25 minimum for delivery, which we didn't add up to even with two entrees and appetizer. So we ended up adding a small item we didn't want just to qualify for delivery. Then, after 20 minutes we received a call stating that we would have to come pick it up as she did not have anyone to deliver it!! After getting it home we discovered our order was incorrect! And the food is bland.

Just a nice little Thai restaurant that has some nice curries and noodle dishes. Located in the heart of Virginia Village/Glendale, this place is quite intimate and has a loyal following of take out patrons. The lady who runs the front is very nice and kind and its not a bad place to have for a go to Asian fix.

  • Sasha V.

I have gotten take out here a couple of times and last night we ordered delivery. I love the online delivery form - it's easy and self explanatory. The service has always been friendly and helpful. The food has been a-ok. Nothing crazy and spectacular and I think it depends on the dish. I wasn't a fan of the drunken noodles and my boyfriend wasn't super excited about the curries. However, I enjoyed their fried rice dishes and their sticky rice and mango is delightful. There aren't a ton of places with sticky rice and mango available. So, basically go here at your own risk :)

It is not the best thai food I have ever had, but it is good. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, that's a major plus and the reason for that fourth star. The interior is small and tastefully decorated and I even found the jewelry they were selling to be super cute. At least give it a try maybe out taste buds are different!!

My favorite red curry in town! Usually very quick to get in and out during lunch, but have been a few times where they've been swamped. Great family owned place where the owner gets to know you.

My husband and I love love LOVE this place! The pad thai is always delicious and we've never had an order prepared wrong. The gal who (I assume) is the owner of the shop is always very sweet and friendly. The pricing is very fair, we get huge portion of food, enough for us both, and we share it for like $10. The shop is beautifully decorated, it's quaint and warm.

My partner and I came here for dinner tonight. It may not be much from the outside but the good is well priced, fresh and really amazing! I highly recommend the spicy fried rice, the curries and the sesame chicken!

Love the authentic Thai food here! We frequently come here for Panang Curry, Pad Woon Sen(extra spicy) or Pad See Ewe. Enjoy having a Thai Tea with our meal. They always remember us, and what we like to get; its great!

Rockin' Tod Mun! I've been to this place twice now and I've been very pleased. It's a hole in the wall but a top notch hole in the wall. They don't Americanize the food or dumb it down with sugar. Who ever's cooking back there was taught homestyle. It's far better than the Panda express looks it has and the owners are very kind. It's not going to get a write up in 5280, but it's going to see a lot more of my credit card! I dig the fresh ingredients and not overcooking the food. I asked for green tea and it was good tea- full leaves not some tea bag crap. Seems like these folks are serving food they would want to eat themselves and it just happens to be a restaurant too. Check it out.

  • Colleen O.

I would love to give them a higher rating as they have great food and when you are there to eat it is nice. But...they never want to deliver which is unfortunate. If you place an online order through Grubhub for delivery they will call you and tell you that if you want to pick up then its fine but otherwise you have to wait 2 hours for delivery. It is fine they can't handle delivery, but they just need to take off the option for it so that people aren't fooled.

  • Moon L.

Really good food so far! We had take out because we were in a rush. Very friendly staff. Kind of a shady part of town, but that's usually where the good food is anyway. I plan to come back and try more menu items. Far from home but worth the drive. The tom yum was so Tasty tasty mmmm mmm good!

  • Kathy K.

Don't let the appearance fool you. This place is ridiculously delicious! I was a bit reluctant when I first tried it with my aunt, but now its my favorite Thai place and no where compares! Usually people say nothing compared to mom's cooking, but I have to say this place is a little better! (Don't tell my mom). Try the pad see ew, the lab- chicken salad, and don't forget to add sticky rice!

    (5)
  • Robert L.

Got delivery using delivery.com . The food was good but the delivery cost will a little higher than average. Not sure if that is because of the site or the shop. I enjoyed my noodles and the curry was good too. Would have thought the medium would have been a little spicier, but I'll go hot next time.

I love this place. Everything we've ever ordered tastes great. It has the feel of being family owned and operated, usually the same people helping us out every time. Great choice whether you prefer vegan, vegetarian, or other options. The mango sticky rice is delicious as well!

I will go back to Thai Pan in the future. The employees were friendly. I ordered Pad Thai with Chicken. It was flavorful and sweet i got it Non Spicy. It came up quickly and i took it home and dug in. It was still hot. I wish they gave more of a serving. Other Thai Restaurants ive been to do give you more of a portion. The Decor was nice and next time i will eat in and try more off the menu.

The Panang Curry here is amazing. Spicy, and satisfying. On a cold day, there is nothing better. I really enjoyed my lunch, and am planning on trying the rest of the menu soon.

Thai Pan is another small mom and pop thai place, one that I really want to like and support, but can't find anything spectacular enough to make it my go to thai spot. The interior is very nice, never crowded, and just as inviting as the service. Their noodle dishes tend to be way too greasy which somewhat defeats the purpose of healthy thai food. What I do like about their food is that many of their dishes have sufficient fresh veggies and adequate amounts of protein. The flavor, though, is often times lacking even amongst all the grease. Not terrible, not great, therefore, not my habitual Thai food joint.

  • Christy C.

Doesn't look like much from the front, but we decided to enter this little hole in the wall and stayed for dinner. We were surprised at how tasty the food is here. Very fresh and good depth of flavors, they know what they're doing. We had the crab rangoon and a spring roll with peanut sauce for starters. I had the shrimp pad thai and my fiance had the green curry for our entrees. Really flavorful and everything was nice and hot, temperature and heat wise. We are planning to go back because we would rather support local business than mega restaurant empires that don't know how to use soy sauce sparingly .

  • Xander P.

Not great, not terrible, somewhere in the dead zone of.....eh. If the prices were 30% lower it'd be three starts. Don't avoid this place but definitely don't make a special trip to eat here.

Nice owners, clean and cozy restaurant. I've had most of the curries and my go-to dish, drunken noodles, and they've all been very good. Dishes are served in generous portions and well seasoned. But I've seen how some items can be hit or miss and the tendency for a few to be cooked with too much grease, as experienced by dining companions and other Yelpers.

  • Miranda J.

I ordered the pad thai, chicken satay, tom kha soup, shumai, and the thai rolls. I have eaten and even cooked a lot of thai food in my life, in Thailand as well as on the west coast where I grew up, and the food definitely met my standards, tasting just as good as I could have hoped for! I ordered the food for pickup, and arrived earlier than I was supposed to (10 minutes), and the owner rushed around as fast as possible to get my (large order of) food to me quickly. I'm very happy to find a good thai place in my neighborhood, and will definitely be back.

Tried out the lunch special today. Actually a good choice, for the price. Had the Drunken Noodles, with the Hot/Spicy soup. I liked the soup, a good change of pace for the starchy syrupy Hot&Sour out there. This one has a thin broth, with bits of mushroom and tofu. Not that hot, however. The Drunken Noodles were medium spice. Just right. The chicken was good bits of white meat stir fried with the veggies (carrots, peppers, baby corn, etc.) Not a destination in it's own right. Just a decent thai-like place in a pinch.

Average Thai lunch place. You won't die and you won't be enthusiastic. It is OK. I had the Massaman Curry with potatoes and coconut milk. I asked for hot & spicy, but received mild.

I've had the green curry twice. First time I was quite content, thought the value was pretty decent. Second time I was a little disappointed, didn't seem as good and the portion wasn't as big. Also tried the chicken satay and found it pretty disgusting, which I didn't think satay was very hard to mess up, but what do I know, I'm just scared to order it now! UPDATE after going here for almost 4 years, this is now my local staple. I've tried many, many Thai restaurants in Denver and been disappointed several times after moving from SF, but now I have to say this is one of my favorites. My kids die for the pad thai and I love the lunch special. I now see it as consistent and good value. Thank you Thai Pan for keepin' on, you've just been upgraded ;)

This is my new favorite Thai place in Denver. Seriously, there's absolutely nothing about this place that I dislike, and a LOT to be said for it. Let me make one thing clear- I make my own Thai food. I'm talkin' hand-ground spices in a mortar and pestle. Masaman with freshly toasted star anise pulped. Green curry with chiles and basil fresh from H-Mart. I know my shit, so my opinion holds some weight here. :) I've been eating Thai Food in Denver for a minute, and my tastes have definitely evolved. Let me just tell you- these people make it like it's supposed to be. I ordered Tom Kee soup, Tod mun fishcakes, and Masaman curry with chicken. I'ma start with the soup: perfectly seasoned- at medium spicy it was perfect for my whiteboy sensibilities. Little bit of sweat, but I wasn't diving into the rice to soothe my gullet, either. And let me tell you a little something special about the soup- THEY USE REAL KAFFIR LIME LEAVES IN THEIR SOUPS. If you've never cooked Thai food, you have NO idea what a rare treat this is. Take it from me- Kaffir lime leaves are HARD to come by, even from H-Mart, and these people were using them like it weren't no thang. And then... at the very bottom of the soup, nice little chunks of stewed galnagal. That's not something you find in your neighborhood restaurant. Fershizzle. The tod mun was NICE.Slightly spongy but with a nice crispness on the outside. Great dipping sauce, too- slivers of cucumbers all up in it- you gotsta taste it to believe it. And the curry- let me tell you- it was so good that I had to eat it like a soup. Nice texture, not like the watered-down curries that I've been having lately. Delicious flavor, perfectly proportioned pieces of poultry, and apparently more than a fair bit of alliteration. I'm not kidding when I tell you that I ate it like a soup, just spooning it right into my maw. The people who own this restaurant are really pleasant. We had a nice chat about making curries, and they were very nice to talk to. I'm thoroughly a fan of this place, and I'm looking forward to my next visit!!!

Was looking for someplace I hadn't tried yet on So Colorado and stumbled upon this place. Walked in and there was only one table filled - not always a good sign. They have a pretty full menu, I decided on the Pad Thai - ordered it medium. It was excellent - just the right amount of heat to balance the sweetness. It was a large plate but I managed to polish it off - very tasty.

This is a very good Thai restaurants. My only complaint is that I wished that it was a little fancier for a sit down meal. It is clean and fine for lunch, take out, or a quick dinner bite. The service is fast and friendly. If you want something very, very, hot, they will accommodate. They meals are tasty, the stir fry's have crisp veggies. The flavors are very good.

I had the Larb which was pretty good...could be much more intense in flavor tho. Good and friendly service

I am a fan of Thai Pan after my visit tonight. It was the first time to try this little place on Mississippi and Colorado and I am very glad I did! Cons first- My drunken noodles were a little greasy. It might just be how they cook them, but I was a bit suprised at the amount of grease that came with them. Our kung po was not as spicy at we normally like it and that was a bit disappointing after asking for extra spicy. Pros- Amazingly friendly people work there. The place was immaculately clean and the decor was quit nice for a hole-in-the-wall in a strip mall. The food had very good flavor even if it was greasy, and the crab rangoon far surpasses most small thai places (though it's not the best I've had). Also, the price is right for the food, which is probably the best thing about this restaurant. I will visit this place again, for sure.

This is a cozy, quiet place off Colorado. It's a very calm and relaxing environment that they've created inside an otherwise featureless little strip mall. I had the Panang Curry, Thai Hot, of course. It was just right for a lunch and came with a crispy egg roll thing on the side. Their version of the Panang wasn't necessarily my favorite, and it was't Thai-hot enough for my tastes but I'd still order it again. What got me though was the complimentary dessert, which was fresh warm Tapioca and Coconut Milk. That alone made the difference between 3 and 4 stars.

Usually I try to come up with something creative to write in my reviews - something that will best convey how I feel about a place. But alas, my creative juices are sapped when it comes to Thai Pan. A mediocre Asian restaurant with good, attentive service but blah food. Thai Pan replaces Mi Zupa, a small soup place which never got off the ground. The interior looks basically the same - even the soda machine is in the same place - furniture and decorations have been updated to match the Asian theme. The food - "spicy" hot sour and soup is neither spicy, hot nor sour although the mushrooms had a nice flavor. I will give them credit for the soup not having a ton of corn starch to thicken - instead it's mainly a thin broth. My cashew chicken is tasty but nothing special. Pieces of white meat, some onions and green peppers, cashews (which didn't appear to be toasted), canned water chestnuts in a heavy brown sauce. The crispy spring roll was tasty but a little too greasy. At the end of the meal, our server brought us a bowl of tapioca in coconut milk. Bright green tapioca, coconut milk and corn kernels (??) - this was just a very strange concoction that tasted mostly like gooey coconut milk. Blah.

Thai Pan is a pretty good family Thai Restraunt. They have excellent Pad See Ew and chicken satay and the woman there is really nice and welcoming. Some of their dishes aren't the most unique, but I don't have any major complaints.

Decent Thai food, amazing Thai Iced Tea, cute little old couple who run it, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Worth a visit.

After reading some of the other reviews I was concerned I had the wrong Thai Pan, but I don't. I think its very, very good. Okay I understand that some people like to shoot fire out of their ass after eating thai food, like tolerance of spiciness makes them more of a man or something, but for the rest of us, we like to taste flavor in our food not just a giant dose of bucket-o-hottness. Which is why I like Thai Pan. Flavor. I ordered the drunken noodle with tofu. And those little golden cubes of tofu were delectable; crispy on the corners - but not soaked through with oil, clearly the product of being cooked at the appropriate temperature. There were vegetables aplenty and they were firm with a bit of crunch, not limp and cooked into oblivion. My partner in thai tasting ordered the chicken pad thai. Now, it was spicy enough to open the nasal passages but not too spicy. It was garlicy and delicious. Well done, well done indeed. We also ordered crab cheese rangoons which are pretty difficult to mess up, but they were piping hot and yummy. I also will point out that some asian restaurants have horrid decor and music, but this place had neither. It uses its space optimally and creates an oasis eating space one wouldn't expect for a lunch place on Colorado Blvd. I look forward to going back and trying some other dishes. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm very dedicated to Swing Thai for its use of organic tofu and responsibly raised meats.... and its peanut sauce is like crack. But other than that, Thai Pan, I'm a fan.

My friend loves this place and would bring me take out a few times, which I enjoyed. I decided to check out the place myself both lunch and dinner. Both were great but lunch was the best deal. Entree, rice, spring roll, and dessert for $6.50! (They gave us a free Thai dessert.) The place is bright, lots of sun, cute decor, and clean. I have tried several things on the menu and have not been disappointed! The reason for only fours stars, I wish they delivered.

This is a great little business that serves amazing food and gives friendly prompt service, also the price isn't bad. I ordered shrimp pad thai and my husband got the pork massaman curry, we also ordered dumplings to split. It was delicious and fresh, we were eating off each other's plates. There was plenty of food, we were able to box the leftovers and have them for dinner the next day. The service was some of the friendliest I've had in Denver.

Keep in mind my ratings at Thai places are almost always dependent on the curry because, well, I am quite obsessed with curry. I have gotten the Massaman curry with veggies here several times and it is always very good. I do wish that they asked how spicy you prefer it, because I do like mine a little spicier than they make it. I've also had the Thai rolls and they were very tasty. This place is lacking a little ambiance (I mean, it is in a strip mall between a Pizza Hut and a 7-11) and I usually take my orders to go. However, the lady that has helped me every time I've been there is adorable and friendly... and I am sucker for that.

The best Thai food in Colorado. And great prices. The woman who owns this is so nice and always remembers how I like my dish. The best coconut tapioca.

2nd time there, 1st time delivery (Thanksgiving night)... gave it a second chance considering it was one of few restaurants delivering food this night, but should have ordered pizza tonight instead. A run down of the food I ordered: Pot Stickers: dripping in grease, nothing notable in flavor, i inspected the insides after every bite, and couldn't ever figure out what exactly WAS in them. Thai roll: crispy, oily, flavorless stick containing chopped vegetables. I could verify carrots and cabbage upon inspection. Probably the highlight of this meal, in all honesty. Spring Roll (only tofu or shrimp options available apparently, and i'm deathly allergic to shrimp, so i set myself up for failure already with the former option): WHERE'S THE MINT?! Pretty sure they stuffed an entire head of romaine in there, along with some soggy noodles, and a giant piece of flavorless tofu, but really... ABSOLUTELY no flavor. I was severely upset with these; I do love me some spring rolls. Because of giant head of said lettuce, the damn things were falling apart anyway... .truly disappointing eating experience. Biggest one of the meal. Beef Satay: flavorless sticks of wood with some sort of tough chewy brown substance growing on it. I couldn't figure out what this was. I'm not even sure why i continued to eat them. I needed the protein? Lard Na w/ Pork: I haven't even tried this yet, i have been so saddened by the appetizers I'm scared to even take this dish out of it's to-go container. And I'm kind of stuffed from the massive quantity of sodium and grease I just consumed. Maybe it will be the best thing ever, maybe it will kill me, I don't know. I just know I don't feel like eating it right now. Im sorry for such a bad review, but there are hungry people on thanksgiving who don't necessarily feel like gathering with a giant crowd to eat a giant bird... tonight that was me. I was exhausted, hungry, and ready to eat in my pajamas. Now I'm just depressed in my pajamas. I don't think even pizza hut could have depressed me this much. Sad Panda ;( *VERY FAST DELIVERY THOUGH!!!!

A solid 2 Stars. My first experience here was probably worth 3 stars, since I ordered the red curry and was happy with the spice and flavor levels of the dish. However, I took a date here and neither of our dishes were what I expected and so therefore they drop a level for my rating. On my second venture to this restaurant, I ordered the thai basil with chicken and my date ordered the green curry with pork. The thai basil was too sweet and lacked flavor - it reminded me of the brown sauces you typically get when you order Chinese food from a cheap restaurant. There was also very little sauce and an over abundance of zucchini. My experience with green curry is that it typically has no potatoes and some eggplant - I noticed that his dish was packed full of potatoes and had no eggplant. Very strange! He was also only mildly happy with it, and when I took a taste for myself, I would see why. Very wimpy flavor! We also ordered the Tom Yum soup to share as an appetizer. I was very excited for him to try it because it is typically such a yummy soup, with lots of spice and flavor...but once again I was disappointed. The soup is usually red and spicy, this one came out looking more like the Tom Ka, like it had coconut milk or something, but tasted severely watered down. What a sad experience! I will definitely be seeking out other Thai places in the Cherry Creek area. My favorite Thai place is still Chada Thai on 17th street and I don't mind the drive for good Thai. This place is okay if you want take out in a pinch. It's cheap, fast, and courteous service. But overall I would say not worth your $$.

I love this place the Masaman curry is so good and the Tom Yum soup is the best I have had anywhere near Denver. I have taken many of my friends here and they all love it. Service=5* Food=5* and Price is choice for a quick lunch without breaking the bank...

I absolutely love good thai food. I live right near the place and was craving Thai food so I wanted to give Thai Pan a try. Reviews on Yelp were positive & received a positive recommendation - but I wanted to see for myself. Ordered traditional Pad Thai with Chicken & a serving of egg drop soup. Price was pretty good $7 for Pad Thai and $3 for Egg Drop Soup. Went to pick it up and brought it back home. Presentation looked pretty good. Started with soup and I've had better, was not the best. Then moved on the the Pad Thai - this was not very good. The flavors were very strange which produced a un-pad thai smell. I would not go back to this place. I love thai food but this was not up to par. There is definitely better options out there.

Eh....nothing to write home about. If anyone reading this knows where I can get some decent Thai Curry, please send me a message or something. Denver's Thai food is driving me nuts. Where's the good Thai?!

very nice people but not very good thai food. we went hoping to find very tasteful pad thai (can tell a good thai place by their pad thai), but it was not good at all. We also got drunken noodles but it was super dry. Overall, there food sadly did not live up to our expectations.

So I've never eaten here but their delivery service is excellent (15-20 minutes max), food is good, comes piping hot to your door with a smile. Best part is, they understand what "extra spicy" means... (they make it spicy with jalapenos).

holy hell, this place is disgusting. i hate to be so harsh on a small place, but the truth must be made known. i had the drunken noodles, which were flavored with nothing but grease and chili, the spring roll with shrimp (though the menu should've specified that it'd come with one tiny piece of shrimp), and the fried veggie roll, with a ratio of 6:1, greasy fried wonton wrap to vegetables. granted, the spring roll did taste pretty fresh. my biggest gripe are the noodles. overly greasy (even by drunken noodle standards), way too may vegetables, slithers of chicken, and NO TASTE. you know how you'll eat something and feel completely unfulfilled, like you wasted your time, appetite, money, and optimism for the success of a tiny strip mall food joint? totally how i feel. i'm sad that i wasted my hunger pangs on this one. sure, it was only $6.75, but neither the food nor the portion was worth that much. sucky value, which is something i'd never thought i'd say about an asian joint. it's what i get for rooting for the underdog.

I usually go with the Pad Thai when trying a new Thai place. I had it here, got it medium, just to be safe. Medium was very mild. Overall the Pad Thai was ok but nothing I would go out of my way for. The eggrolls were the best part of my meal. The service is good and the food is decent. Others in the restaurant seemed to think the place was the best in the world. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing?

Had three lunches there. I was a first not that impressed. I loved the friendly couple that own it. I have always been a big fan of J's Noodles on Federal and thought no one could compare. However, Thai Pan keeps getting better and better. I had the fish cakes, dom yun soup, fried calamari and the crispy duck. The fish cakes were very good. The soup was very flavorful, the calamari was forgettable, the crispy duck was to die for. A half a duck, no bones to deal with, lovely dipping sauce. It was the special that day so I can't say it is on the menu. The flavors could be sharper, but these folks work hard at making it better and better. I will go back. I will not go back to Chada Thai. I will always go back to J's noodles.

I am new to Denver, and have eaten at many Thai places in different cities in the past. I highly recommend this place. If you're looking for a place with great prices, and even better food then this is it. This a very casual, basic type of place, but for what it is, it definitely excels.
