Hostess told us she couldn't seen 8. Two 4 tops had been sitting open since well before we asked if she could push them together. Her recommendation? "Try another restaurant."

Had the India Pale Whiskey Punch and it was interestingly good. Will probably recreate for parties. Menu doesn't really fit the concept visually.

Definitely a nice spot to grab an after work drink and people watch. Extensive Beer and Cocktail list, and seating on the benches is communal so its great to make a new friend or two.

The bartenders here are serious, professional and seriously professional! The average price for a drink is higher than usual. However, for the ambiance of Union Station and especially terminal bar, it is almost worth it. They service many speciality drinks like Moscow Mules to French 75's etc. This is an excellent place to take friends or even out of towners. The energy is exciting and inviting!

Beautiful location--- the new Union Station is fantastic...but the service here is absolutely terrible.

This was such a neat place to stop in for a pint. It was so pretty all decorated for Christmas, and we were able to order our drink and enjoy in the middle of a beautiful train station. So cool!

Great beer list is all I can say. It was forever before we got a beer. The extensive online menu is a lie. They are down to 2 burgers from the 8 on their menu, down to 2 brats from their 5 and no green chili cheese fries. WAIT until you go here. They obviously have some things to work out.

What I can say about this place? Umm, TOTALLY AWESOME! The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is superb! They've treated me like a rock star on every visit. Terminal Bar is one the reasons I frequent Union Station!

This was my second time in this place and it became more impressive to me than the first. Our server William made the experience more pleasant than the first, he was patient and consider it when my girlfriend wasn't sure what she wanted. If the service was always on point like ours everyone would leave impressed. I will be bringing friends and family soon.

4 stars for food and ambience and 5 stars for the service. I asked for an iced cold brew coffee and the waitress said that they didn't carry that, and that the place next door had that, so I ordered something else. However, when she came back to the table, she brought the coffee and said it was on the house. Exceptional service! The fries and ahi tuna burger were good too. The bloody mary was okay-- a little too much ice, so it was watered down.

One word: awesome! This place fits right in with the Union Station's upscale restaurants. I love the atmosphere. Great spot for a nice date or your group of friends. I've never had the food here but with so many restaurants a stone's throw away, this ends up my bar, not restaurant. Absolutely worth trying. Order from the window instead of the bar and it feels like you are purchasing a ticket for a train....a train of good times!

Terminal bar has a great atmosphere. It's classy, it's intimate, great for a date. With all of the allure of the renovated Union Station it's hard not to have a drink and stay a while. They have a ton of local craft beers which is great but they are a tad on the pricey side. If you're hungry they collaborate with Acme burger that's a step away but their primary service is craft beer and mixed drinks.

For everyone giving this place bad reviews based on food: this IS NOT A RESTAURANT! It's a BAR! So it's actually really nice and convenient that you can get food here. It's burgers, fries, and brats and they bring them from acme burger next door. You can also bring food in from acme burger if you want more options. The whole idea of this place is to have a great bar to go to when you are getting on or off the rtd or just hanging out downtown. I think it's a great bar with incredible atmosphere! You can sit on the patio and see all of downtown. It's gorgeous! So give them a break they've been open 2 weeks.

I've been here when it's busy and the service was horrible. At the time I thought: Okay, it's new , they're learning. I really wanted to like this place. I love Union Station's new vibe and look! Then I decided to give it one more try. I returned and they had plenty of bartenders, bar backs and it was empty. I got the same service as if it was full. Plenty of attitude and high prices means no more visits. Sadly, it's aptly named "Terminal". There are PLENTY of other great places just steps away.

Great location and cool decor...but the slowest bar service I've ever encountered. 55mins to get drinks on the patio last Saturday. Terrible.

The Terminal is a cool spot to grab a drink, but it can pretty crowded on the weekends. If the bar is crowded, I recommend waiting in the line outside of the bar. Drinks prices can be a bit steep, but hey, you're in the center of Union Station! Tips: - If you're ordering drinks for a group, you have to show an ID for every person. Make sure you have their IDs. - If you can grab a seat at one of the tables outside the bar, a server will take your order - You can order food from your table! Terminal Bar partners with the burger place inside Union Station - Shuffle board is free! There are 2 tables, just give your ID to the bartender if you wanna play

A unique and interesting location in the newly restored Union Station. Points on for location, atmosphere and potential. Points (and stars) off for the disinterested and surly staff as well as the crowded and odd layout.

I just love the Union Station remodel and Terminal Bar is such a fun place to welcome you in. I love how you can go inside Terminal Bar and have a seat at the bar or a booth with a small group or you can wait in the open bar line within the main floor and have a drink with a larger group. The wine selection is pretty good and the bartenders, although very busy, will make you any cocktail and they know how to make them right. My husband loves the pre-prohibition style cocktails and not a lot of places know how to make those correctly, but he thinks Terminal Bars are spot on. This is a fun place to direct visiting guests to go and a fun gathering spot to meet friends for a drink. Also, a nice option to go for a drink before going to dinner somewhere around or within Union Station.

Architecture, ambiance, solid drink menu, good food, and upbeat waitstaff, all on point! Was there this last weekend and will continue to go as long as I can, or as long as I can take the train right to the door (almost). I love that I can come here and consistently get good ol' fashion style drinks, and/or latest and greatest craft brew. Though a little pricy, I think it is worth every penny. This is where I want to be after a hard week's work. Plus I feel like a 1920's millionaire in this pub. Positive vibes and great eats here and lots of other cool places within walking proximity.

Union Station thoughtfully, artfully restored and the best female bartenders-what can make for a better cocktail hour? Oh, add to this local gin from Leopold Bros, well, I'm in love! Make time for this bar and Union Station, you won't regret it!

I remember living in Connecticut and taking the train to New York- Grand Central station. All of the food, all of the drinks available! Too bad I was like 7 years old and really couldn't indulge (even though that was kind of at the time my parents weren't too nervous of me roaming around New York City, since I knew where I was going- even for a 7 year old!) in all of that. Later, I lived in Strasbourg France, and relied heavily on trains. I realized at that point, why a cold drink feels so great when getting on/off a train. It just seems like the right thing to do. By all means, I haven't used the train yet in Denver, but I live right next to the train station. Every time I walk in Union Station, the large "Terminal Bar" sign is right in my face. I have walked by it plenty of times, but finally, I gave in. Now mind you, this place has a patio, a bar area (with 3 small TVs), a seating area, a walk up window, and another seating area inside the actual station. You are probably wondering "huh?" but I assure you it makes sense when you see it in person. It was Saturday afternoon, and I woke up at about 2PM. Not even being awake for more than 10 minutes, I told my roommate we should go to Union Station to get some drinks. So, we walked there, and decided to check out Terminal Bar. Now, mind you, on Friday and Saturday nights, this place gets crowded, quick. Great for people watching. Not great if you like your drinks served quickly. I guess that is why we have never gone before. On a Saturday afternoon, it was busy, but not overwhelming. The crowd left, settled, and started to fill up again as we left. I liked the atmosphere a lot. The dark walls, the tiling, the blue leather seats with the brass ingots holding the leather against the wood, and of course, the poles that held coats at the end of the booths. The actual bar extended as well to accommodate an extra 8 people. I was surprised to see condiments on the table (as we sat ourselves)- I was expecting this place to not have any food. I then saw the food menu, which was of the place next door- ACME. Good call. The drink menu had about 25+ local beers on tap, along with a few cocktails and wine as well. I decided to get a few pints (I couldn't believe it, I got carded!). And then order a brat with kraut and fries. The food came out quickly. The brat was solid. The fries were awesome too. After watching my roomie eat his burger, I decided to get one moments after. I really liked the amount of local beer they had on tap here, especially the variety. They all listed the ABV, the style, and where it was brewed. The prices seemed to be not too terrible- OK, I have seen, I have seen worse. My burger came out, and I tell you what. It was the best burger I have ever eaten inside a train station, I can tell you that much! I decided to get a mixed a drink, called the "Greek Economy". Not sure if it was supposed to taste tainted, sour, or what, but I pretty much drank it like a shot (oops). I then went back to try some more beer. The service was on point here as well. Glad to know this place is so close to home. Oh yea, apparently they open at 10AM. Too bad I won't be taking advantage of that!

Obviously the space in the Union Station lobby is chic, spacious, and full of a lot of activity. And the staff was fast and attentive. Though it felt odd to wait in a line, as if you were waiting for a ride at Disney World, to order a drink - the bartender was polite and patient. The layout, as mentioned before, is just that - odd. Not in a bad way, but it's not a bar. It's hard to describe. But I like it. It makes sense for the location as the back area that serves as the actual bar is dark and cozy and parlays out into the lobby where there guests of the bar intermingle with the guests of the coexisting businesses of Union Station, and the people waiting for the train. Periodically, a busboy will come around clearing the dispersed community tables and intimate two-person tables, but in order to get another drink, you have to stand back in the queue for your drink. It's a perfect spot to take guests or come for a pre or post drink or catch up on your shuffleboard game :)

Not a friendly staff, and not a very good experience at all. Would not recommend going to this location. Too bad a cool environment inside of Union Station, but would rather spend time at a different place.

Beautiful architecture in here. Really. Dirty martini was fantastic. And they GOT IT when I said extra dirty. The service was a little lackluster for how beautiful this place is. I think when you go somewhere all dressed up and in the mood for a martini, getting a smile or two from the waiter/bartender is not too much to ask for. Especially for the price tag on those drinks. Maybe they get flustered because its busy? But it borders on rude. This place should really be on your list to bring your fancy out of town guests. Its an impressive bar and would make anyone jealous of those of us living in Denver!

Terminal Bar is the perfect location to bring family and friends when they're in town visiting. This place is definitely a must see tourist location. I appreciate the variety of local brews on tap and the ambiance is truly unique and beautiful. There is picnic style seating and also several "lounge" areas in the foyer. Overall great experience.

I'd been wanting to check this place out for sometime and after a dinner downtown, we moseyed on over for some post-dinner beverages and I'm really glad we did! The atmosphere in here is way cool and classy. I loved that it was darker - definitely makes the place feel intimate even though it's in the massive, spacious Union Station. Also, they nailed my cocktail (French 75). Two thumbs up - I'll be back for more menu/cocktail exploring!

Unfortunately, I must update this review with a downgrade. The last two times I stopped in here after work, I was completely ignored for ten and fifteen minutes, respectively. At the bar. That's not okay. These guys are too big for their britches. You're better off walking a few steps west to the kitchen next door. Solid food, great happy hour, stellar service.

This bar is absolutely beautiful. The amount of detail taken in the design of everything from the booths, tables, walls, bar, etc is phenomenal. I came here on the grand opening day. It was obviously busy..but for the crowd my group was still able to get a table inside the bar (hostess will seat you) within five minutes. Outside the bar in the grand hall there is additional first come first serve seating. We got drinks pretty quick (and even additional rounds and food quickly). The service was very nice also. They were running a limited food menu due to the grand opening..so I ordered a Elk Jalapeno sausage. It was pretty good but not too spicy (I love spicy stuff). The normal menu has a number of burgers, belgian fries, and sausages. I will definitely have to come back to try out some more food! As I said before the space here is beautiful. Very vintage feel. They have the original Union Station ticket windows on the back of the bar still..you can also walk up and order beer from the windows too! Its hard for me to describe the details here..seriously check out the pics!

Love the new bar in Union Station. We've been here twice and have sat inside the bar once and out in the lobby most recently. Service is very prompt regardless of where you sit and very friendly. Their menu recently changed as they got rid of some of the cocktails that were taking epic prep time. That being said, request the raspberry lemonade as it's absolutely delicious. It's muddled fresh raspberries, vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup, and soda water. It's not very sweet and is unbelievably fresh. If beer is more your thing, they offer tons of options and are quick to provide you with their feedback on your choice. Tap pulls are numbered vs being company branded and my husband thinks that's the smartest thing in the world. Overall, this is a perfect spot to stop while downtown. You can play a little shuffleboard or enjoy a beer and an ice cream and be set.

Great space, great drink selection, but terrible service. If your profession is a bartender, you tend bar... Not stare blankly in disgust when a party tries to order four beers. Empty tables sat far too long waiting to be bussed. Seriously bad service all around.

One of the coolest bars in Denver, this is a great place to come and get a drink and relax in the newly renovated Union Station. They have a great selection of beers and delicious cocktails all while remaining reasonably priced. Lines can get long here so plan on coming early or waiting.

  • A Marie J.

Stopped in for a quick drink. The space is beautiful. I love how they have renovated Union Station. They have a great cocktail, beer and wine menu. Although they were out of two of the wines we chose. The bartender was friendly and helpful with suggesting restaurants in the area.

It's really just a-ok. Decent drinks, $10 a pop. It's a nice space and has a good beer selection. I saw that there was a menu but I don't think the food is Terminal's -- I think it comes from other vendor in Union Station. Either way, it's nice that they serve food and from the looks of it, the prices were fairly low. I'd go back but I think there are better places to get a drink.

This is a must visit in the new Union Station. Yes, you could probably have drinks in any of the other restaurants in the building, but this is the one that is designed for social activities and for the view of that great restoration of the central hall. Prices are good, with a TON of Colorado beers on tap. Service, as many people have mentioned, is prompt and friendly regardless of how full the small slice of space seems to be. For less than $15, two drinks and a 45 minutes of good conversation is a great deal. I can't speak to food, other than the menu looked like typical bar food. Perhaps I'll come back for drinks sometime soon, but then again, this is not what the Terminal Bar is designed for. Go get a drink and enjoy the beautiful new Union Station.

This is the perfect spot inside of a railroad station. They took the old ticket counter and turned it into a bar. You can order either inside of the bar or at the walk-up window. They have 30 different beers on draft but also they have anything else you'd want. Inside of the bar, I feel like I've been transported to the 1930's. Outside, you can sit at picnic tables and take in the hustle and bustle of Union Station. Either way, great spot to have a drink!

  • Veronique C.

I like the atmosphere, but I am a lot less impressed by the food. They serve fast food from next door, (burgers come on a tray, fast food style). The fries were good but over salted, my burger came without any sauce so was very dry (it was not a mistake since my daughter ordered the same one and there was no sauce either). And for fast food burgers not even that good, it is quite expensive, mine was $9.50 plus $3 for the fries. Drinks were fine, but is it really that difficult to put a price on the cocktail and beer menus? This place might be fine if you just get drinks.

  • Ryan K.

Food was okay (had the chicken sandwich and fries which was kind of bland), service was less than stellar and slow as molasses but at least the beers were cold. It's a great location and looks really cool but not somewhere I'd go back to.

The Terminal Bar is a "hot" bar now. As in hot girls, hot air from all the body heat, and hot air from the loud but ultimately meaningless conversations. Still, I have never had a Rob Roy before and this seemed like the place to order it. A big sign above the bar saying they make it helps. I liked it. This is a place to take tourists, or friends who live in the 'burbs and are basically tourists when they come to downtown. It is a place to talk and gawk, not drink your week away.

  • Ryan M.

Stopped into Terminal Bar after having lunch nearby. The decor of the bar was really beautiful (to match Union Station). We sat at the bar. I was blown away by the abundance of beers on tap. Even better? They are ALL local Colorado beers!!! They had 30 beers on tap (like I said all local). 3 of which were on Nitro. You could get a full beer, or just like any Brewery in town, you could build your own tasters (comes with 5 beers). The service was very good, and most of the bartenders stopped to have actual conversations with us. I look forward to coming back and experiencing their food, as many people said it was delicious!

  • Amanda L.

This bar is beautiful given the recent restoration. I've always experienced great and friendly service (and I work nearby so I'm at Terminal Bar often). Things tend to get a bit busy around late afternoon; however, there are two different ways to order drinks and you're welcome to grab food, coffee and/or gifts while waiting for things to slow down. I spend more time looking at the architecture than anything when I'm enjoying their great selected of drinks!

Wow! Yelpers are really hitting this place in the face! Not to say my 3 stars is better, but it's not 1 or 2 stars! Not too much to say... came here because Snooze was on a wait. The hostess said SHE needed to check for seats at the bar. I was tired of waiting so I asked a different hostess and she said the bar is first come, first serve. Not only was this inconsistent in practice, but when I passed the hostess she didn't even acknowledge the time she made us wait. Our server (at the end of the bar) had a terrific personalty, but the service was slow. I got up to check out the Vodka selections - I am specifically preferential - and he stopped me because he could answer my questions. To my surprise - he couldn't. So, I had to get back up to try again... Food seemed very limited at the bar, which was fine because we were waiting on Snooze anyhow. My drink was delivered with too much Red Bull, even after reiterating a SPLASH of Red Bull. Husband's Beer was yummy and the other two people with seemed to fancy their Cocktails. Makes me sad to see such horrible reviews for a new spot in Union Station. The ambiance was AWESOME! I love the narrow-bar look and this place definitely achieved it! We will try again and just be a bit more bossy in regard to slow service & Red Bull because it really is a great spot!

We were exploring Union Station and found this cute bar! We ordered a few drinks at the window and played some Shuffleboard in the middle of Union Station. Great atmosphere and loved our experience here!

I met my lunch companions at the bar for a drink Friday afternoon before heading to our lunch destination. We had a birthday in the bunch so some champagne cocktails were in order and they were delicious! The atmosphere is great. We had the most attentive and beautiful blonde (male) bartender. He was extra sweet and attentive to the birthday girl which was a big plus! I will be back I'm sure!

Terminal Bar has the potential to become a Denver icon. Tucked at the back of Union Station, Terminal offers dark leather booths, a long polished bar, high ceilings and subdued lighting. When the bar is busy, expect to stand. As an alternative, you can sit outside on long beer-garden style benches. The bar is stocked with an appropriate blend of Colorado beer and liquor, among other usuals, and staffed with efficient and knowledgable men and women.

Sleek; chic and there are 30 Colorado beers on tap - need I say more?

Fun but very busy bar located inside the newly renovated Union Station. Despite the crowds service is pretty quick and the drinks are great. They have a large selection of locally brewed beers on draft. All the seating is community style, which lends itself to a fun evening.

I was here a few nights ago with my boyfriend and he gave his ID's to the bar to play shuffle board (a game that the terminal bar controls). After about 10 minutes in to our game the server came up with his ID (he shouldn't have even had it!!) asking who it belonged to. He then told us he "Had to take the pucks away because we were playing the game wrong" When asked what we were doing wrong he didn't respond and just walked away. We later stayed to watch him give the pucks to another person who had been watching us play and clearly didn't want to wait his turn (so he complained). I'm not as upset about him taking them away but rather with the unprofessional attitude and clear favoritism! NO warning, giving us a time limit, or anything, just took them away. I will NOT be returning to eat here do to the unprofessionalism and employees being just plain RUDE!!

Horrible service. If you don't like your job, find a new one. Five of us came here for pre-dinner drinks on Christmas Eve. It wasn't very busy, but took forever to get drinks and even longer to get another.

Cool atmosphere. Roaring 1920's or 30's, high times of train travel. Then there's the service....ehhh at best. Reminds me of Portland style service or lack there of....

Loved the concept and it was great to see people mingling in Union Station. I loved the open seating in the terminal and thought the option for table service or walking up to the bar was great. Cool atmosphere! Will definitely be back!

Fun spot to grab a drink! We stopped here on a Saturday night and as expected, it was bumping. After waiting 5 minutes to get a bartender's attention, we got our drinks (average of $9 for each) and went out into the general seating area to enjoy our drinks. I ordered a Moscow Mule, it was delicious and I could have had a few more if we didn't have plans for dinner. My wallet can't afford to come here every weekend but it's definitely nice to show out of towners!

This is a great place for people watching and a decent place to grab a drink. As you would expect, some of the items on the drink menu are pretty pricey. We stopped in on a Saturday night as we were just out wandering around checking out the "scene" at Union Station. The inside of the bar itself was packed - I saw a couple of bachelorette parties and the requisite gang of fraternity boys sort of tagging along. We opted to order drinks at the window and sit in the actual terminal to watch the comings and goings. If you like to people watch, this is the spot for you - grab a drink. pull up a comfy wing chair and get to watching!

Head's up, if you went to the grand opening they no longer have the full menu with all those burgers and dipping sauces. Our waitress told us that they cut the menu down after "the kitchen couldn't keep up." The menu is a burger or two, a brat, and fries. Sauces are just prep work so I'm not really sure why they got axed. Seat yourself - Not a smart idea. Causes unequal distribution among staff. I watched two couples leave after they seated themselves and were not paid any attention. Patrons looked confused as they came in. We were too and eventually figured it out by asking. Service - nice waitress, obviously has experience but clearly whatever their system is wasn't working, as she was flustered and had to apologize for slow everything. 6 bartenders behind the bar, this can actually slow drink orders way down. And it obviously was. Our cards didn't get run for quite some time. The service was overall crappy. Food - I only ordered fries. my fries could have been amazing if they weren't served lukewarm and if I could have picked one of their previously offered sauces. Fries didn't seem fully cooked either, weirdly tough in the middle. Or maybe that's just cause they had cooled too much. Ate anyways because the seasoning was pretty awesome. Friends' burger and brat were reported as good. Waitress comped one of our two received order of fries after a third order of fries never arrived. Drinks - took quite some time Not impressed at all. Maybe I'll come back after a month or two when they can get it together or if I read a handful of positive Yelpers reviews.

Cool new spot. I like the cool new trendy vibe of the place, but they need more. More food, better food and the drinks were expensive. I think it I had actually received a burger cooked medium I might have given it a better rating, but wed-well just didn't cut it for me. & the server was new and nervous and forgot our drink orders twice... I will go back and try another burger, but if they don't match up I will not go back....

A big group of friends celebrating my wife's birthday joined for drinks before heading out to dinner. We made a reservation but might have had a mixup on the exact date. They were still able to fit us on on Saturday night, which was great. Our waitress was very friendly but apparently very busy. We probably went through drinks rather quickly but at times did have to wait a while before having our orders taken, especially for those just arriving. Their drink and beer menu was pretty comprehensive and the atmosphere was all hustle and bustle at the train station. It would have been great to sit inside but instead were seated on the tables outside. Like I said, a large group of 15-20. We ordered fries from the restaurant next door that serves food and they were really good. I'm the kind of person who typically has a lot of ketchup with fries but these didn't have any and didn't need any. I would like to see a better selection of snacks/apps but what they had was good. Overall, I'd definitely come here again and make sure to snag spot inside. Union Station is a neat place and worth the effort. We appreciated the hospitality and friendliness of the the Terminal Bar staff.

I was here for late night drinks on Saturday and was pretty impressed. The service was top notch and prices were more fair than I expected (2 vodka sodas and 5 shots of Jameson was around $52). We sat out in the station, but there was never an empty glass left sitting on a table. I'd definitely be back. I love the dark, moodiness inside the bar at night. I'll be making that my next stop. Only downside--it was Lodo on a weekend night.

I couldn't wait to try this place as I love the space and decor. We went on Saturday when the station had its opening day so the place was very busy but they had a lot of staff serving customers. The spicy Bloody Mary was awesome and the beer selection pretty big. The service at the bar was a bit slower than at the tables. I can't wait to go back

Wow.. For only being open for a few weeks they have it down amazingly well! Great service, awesome patio and the drink menu is perfect. I will be back here many times. They also serve food from the Acme burger bar inside and the food comes out fast! It's a simple menu and is great for a quick bite. GREAT JOB Terminal Bar See ya soon!

My new fav bar in Denver. I'm a fickle bitch so we'll see next week, but for now this is the place to be, be seen. This has upscale drinks, and the joy of a giant courtyard fully of breeders and offspring to contend with. Fun! Enjoy the novelty whether you are fun, or making the trek from the burbs to escape sadness! Be here!

What a great place to grab a drink and relax at the end of a day poking around Denver. We flew in earlier that day and just wanted to sit. I loved that you could grab a drink at the Terminal Bar window and sit on the comfortable couches in Union station. There's people on laptops, groups of friends congregating for drinks and cute shops to grab momentos.

My wife and I went to this bar this weekend. What a nice place! We had a seat at the bar and met an English fellow named Q, oddly enough, and I must say he made the experience. I asked how he got that name and he told us that his parents were big James Bond fans. Very funny... My wife had a martini - shaken, not stirred, of course, and I had a gin & tonic. Both were perfect. We spoke to a couple that had the burgers and they said they were fantastic. Maybe next time. I've always believed that a great staff can compensate for almost any of an establishment's shortcomings and this guy made our experience. Q for president! Or whatever your real name is. Thanks for a great time. We'll be back.

Great place for a drink or two. Menu looks grand, burgers, dogs & frites. Apparently the kitchen is a mile away as 1 out of 4 items ordered came semi-hot. Several attempts to have hot fries with & without Seasoning proved it is only bar food. So venture in to indulge in a beverage but avoid the food.

Excellent beer selection. Staff is friendly and professional. They said their first few months they were still working out their kinks so I am glad we waited to go. Nice, classy atmosphere. Pretty hopping on a Sunday at lunchtime. Prices are a bit expensive but expected.

Great spot to start a night downtown. Powerful beer list, good food, and great service. If you get a chance, stop by and snag a pint from Ellen. She's a sweetheart and will set you up with a good beer.

We bailed. After waiting to try to get the attention of a bartender or server for over 10 minutes, we left. Here's that problem: We understand that they were very busy, but a good server should acknowledge you, and say "we're really busy, and I'll get to you in a minute." Instead we would get a glance and then the server would quickly look away and ignore us. Another restaurant in the station also had horrible service. Union Station and the other restaurants better be worried....with this kind of service, this destination will not be considered by those of us wanting to go to this great space and enjoy a meal or drink.

The most horrible bartender...ever. She was inattentive, mean and b-chy. Everyone else seemed really nice, and almost apologetic for her. Clearly it is an issue. It's a shame that one bad apple can ruin the whole gang!

Great beer and cocktail selection in a very cool setting. Unfortunately the service was awful. Had to seek out servers on 2 occasions to place drink orders after waiting for 15 minutes.

Six of us in our party, and food for four of us showed up at the same time. Then the burger for the fifth came with a hair in it, and after everyone else finished eating, the hotdog for the sixth person finally came. We placed four orders of fries, and two orders came out nice, hot, and fresh but after the sixth person finally got his hotdog. Was told that we would have to go inside (we sat outside) to get any ketchup. Overall, the food was mediocre, service was embarrassing, and the intangibles need work! We had to repeatedly ask for napkins, when we did get condiments, they were nearly empty. A great atmosphere and good company saved this experience from a single star. I must say, that after we complained, they helped out by adjusting our bill.

This was a very cool place to have a drink and just relax before walking around Denver. The service was great and the beer menu is awesome.

A little on the pricier side, but the drinks demand such a price. Best tasting Old Fashioned I've had in a good long time. Definitely a must stop when you get off the train at Union Station.

Very cool yet chill atmosphere. Prices are a bit high, but more or less on par with other downtown bars. Location is perfect. I am a regular here; great place.

Definitely not! DH and I were wondering around Union Station and decide to try the Terminal Bar. Wish we hadn't. Slow service. One beer each - spent over 45 minutes at the bar. Took forever for them to pour the draft beers and our server left after 30 minutes without checking on it. Overall, just wish we'd skipped this one.

I really wanted to like this place. The location is great, as is the ambience. The service, however, was garbage. I went here with a group of friends on a Saturday night. It was crowded but that's to be expected of a hot spot in Denver. Our server was not very pleasant and messed up our order several different times. At the end of the night we split the tab on four different cards. She brought my receipt which said that she charged the correct amount - $16.. The following Monday I checked my bank statement and to my surprise found a charge for $81. I tried to get ahold of the manager for three days. I left several messages with the hostess detailing the situation and included my phone number but he never returned my call. I finally called my bank and disputed the charge. Bad service and even worse management. As a manager, it's your responsibility to take care of customer issues. It's safe to say I won't be returning any time soon.

Nice vibe. Slow, slow service. We just wanted a beer but took forever (15 min) to take our order. Then another for the brewskies to be delivered. The lovely server explained that some other servers skipped out on their shift so they were short staffed. (Geez that never happens in a bar, what's plan B?) She did comp our first round (2 beers). We then moved outside and when it came time to pay there was some confusion about what we owed. Apparently the tablet order taking system can't do all the work of a real server. Attention management, you can't just dress young women up in black outfits, give them a tablet and send them out: some training would be good too. Won't be back for a while, too many places around that know how to do it right.

Not sure what's going on here... But there are no wait staff for the inside of the station area, there is only walk up service. Seems like they are missing huge potential revenue, we waited in line for 40 minutes. Yes, we almost bailed but we were with a larger party who was already here.

Great service! Waiting for our train they let us come in early and wait for them to start serving lunch. Really good burger. Super friendly.

Awesome atmosphere with beautiful, classic decor. Worked for an afternoon here on my laptop - great beer selection, good music, free wifi. My one complaint is that originally, I sat at the bar, but after the bartender basically ignored my presence, I moved to a table. The waitresses are great, but I'd avoid sitting at the bar if you want service...even during slow, daytime hours.

Awful Awful Awful. This place doesn't even deserve one star. We went on opening weekend, excited to check out the new Union Station area and have a drink before the Rockies game. Half the tables were empty and so we were seated right away, which was nice. After 20 minutes of the 4 of us sitting there, I got up and asked if we could have a server since no one had come to us yet. Another 10 minutes, still no server, we stopped one walking by and asked her to take her drink order. Easy drink order: 3 beers and a glass of wine. 20 minutes later... we asked where our drinks were and she said they were coming. After another 10 minutes, still nothing and so we got up and left for the Rockies game. Whats worse is for the hour we were sitting there, every table to be seated around us was immediately greeted by a server with water and had their drink orders taken. We never had a server, water, or our drinks. Great location but only worth going if you need somewhere to hang out and never be served a drink.

This place is GREAT! Love the beer, love the atmosphere. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because I was planning a big group outing for out of town friends, saw on their website you can call 2 days before to reserve a table for up to 20.... so I planned a big outing for 20 friends, 6 weeks in advanced, emailed Terminal Bar to let them I was doing this (never heard back), called 2 days in advance at 9 AM as the website instructed and was told that they don't reserve tables on Fri & Sat night. This is fine, but why not put that on your website?! Or why not respond to my email informing me?! However, it all worked out well, we rallied anyway and had a great time when some tables opened up. Oh and the burgers were AMAZING.
