Wish I had better customer service here. I've always had a great experience at this subway until last week. I'm not sure if the employee was new or just having a bad day but she did not seem happy at all to deal with me. Not usually the case, but this last time was cause for some concern. I've been coming for years and never had something like this happen. It seemed out of place. Hopefully next time this gets better, and I'll change the review if I see that it does. Just make sure to hire happy people subway!

It's Subway, they're all the same essentially. I visited this Subway at 10am and you can tell the food were left overs from the day before. Customer service was fine, nothing special. The only positive is this is one of the few Subways that still have the seafood sensation with crab. Wish more Subways carried this!

I've had a positive experience each visit. I like that they have the seafood option. Staff seems to care about the business, as well as your experience dining with them. You don't often see that in other Subways; they are not all created equal.

Tasteless, frozen, pre-made, rolled out and microwaved eggs to order - yuck! Frozen chicken, chemical laden or off tasting greens and bread so soft it's practically pre-digested. I don't understand why so many Americans eat here; price over taste?

I don't really like Subway sandwiches in general. I believe that there are many better options for a decent sub. However, on occasion I'm the the mood for a basic veggie sub. Just a roll with lots of lettuce, hot peppers, tomatoes, onions, olives, cucumbers (you get the picture), with a little vinegar/oil and salt and pepper. This is the one sub Subway usually does well. The newish Subway on Colorado (at Alameda) is a bit more upscale than their older stores. That's the best I can say about it. SURLY is the only word I can think of to describe the service at this Subway. Really, if you hate your job so much, get a different one. The sandwich builders barely looked up, much less smiled when we placed our order. I politely asked for a veggie sub on Italian bread and the grump at the counter looked like I was asking her mop up an oil slick. Additionally I was never even asked if I wanted my bread toasted (I did) so I ended up with cold mushy bread. The patron after me was asked about their bread toasting preference so I conclude that I must have had a sign on my forehead asking for abusive service. No outdoor seating which is really a shame given that I'm pretty sure the thermostat inside was set to about 45 - ice-cold to match the service. Never again Subway.

5 stars for its proximity to the gym. Not much to say since its no different than any other subways. But They're my favorite subs and I eat here at least twice a week. I love walking over after finishing my workout. And sitting at the bar while watching all the traffic. Nice way to wind down.

I stopped in here for lunch today - and I have to say I was NOT impressed. I eat Subway on a fairly regular basis - and this was one of my LEAST favorite visits. The folks behind the counter were talknig about something unrelated to the line waiting to be served, which didnt' really bother me, as this is a pretty quick-transaction type place. But then - when I got back to my office to eat my sandwich - the bread was HARD. It tasted really stale - actually cut up the roof of my mouth stale. I also got a cookie - which was ALSO stale - neither of their claimed 'freshest ingredients' did the job. I think I"ll wait a while before going back to a subway - stick to Jimmy Johns or Fat Jacks instead.

Say what you want to about Subway; we all know they're corporate sandwich giants, we know they tend to measure ingredients at most locations to a nitpicking standard that is annoying at worst -- but they do vary from franchise to franchise. There are 2 things about Subways that I like -- and neither of them are their ubiquitous subs, which are fair to good at best. Subway's breakfast flatbread sammies are as good a quick bite to grab as any Panera, and certainly crushes most McD/BK/Wendy/etc offerings -- and a few bucks cheaper than Panera. The 2nd thing is their cookies. Are they gourmet? Well perhaps not as much as a local bakery's confections, but again, definitely better than most places you can grab a cookie on the run. Subway apparently returned their "raspberry cheesecake" cookies to their lineup very recently - haven't seen em since 2011, and I'm delighted because those things are like crack. They also have a new flavor called the "birthday berry", with cranberries, blueberries and white chocolate chips, and I can't wait to try that too. And you can't argue with 3 cookies for a buck. But coming back to this location: my friend and I were greeted today by an enthusiastic server who was very cool; and despite the fact that I asked for a little more steak on my flatbread sammie and he said he'd have to charge me for it (at which point I declined), after his super rolled by, he winked at me and put another scoop of steak on top. That made me damn happy considering the morning I'd been having. The ingredients were very fresh, and I've gotta say banana peppers and SW chipotle sauce go really well on probably any of their flatbread sammies. And then I saw the raspberry cheesecake flavor had returned...but was clued in about the birthday berry as well and...well...I was sold. I told him I was gonna put up a greaet review for this place, and I think he earned it. Sad that 2 others had bad experiences here; I've gotta say in terms of worker attitude, speed, and the 10% extra meat, this is one of the better Subways I've encountered -- more or less the opposite of the one at Evans and Monaco, which I will hopefully never have to go in again. I think the possibly incompetent help the 2 bad reviewers encountered may be absent from this location now.

It was lunch time. The line was long. My sandwich wasn't just toasted it was burnt but edible and poorly put together. Will go elsewhere.

Note: since i wrote this review I go a personal email from the district manager apologizing for the bad customer service, clarifying that, while meat and cheese portions are strictly control ed, any amount of vegetables may be added with out extra cost. I was offered a free sandwich for my trouble. I've eaten at Subway 3-4 times a week for the last 2 years and this is BY FAR the worst customer service experience I've had at one. There are 2 other locations closer but I was going out of my way to visit this store for a while because the servers were so friendly. However, they started giving smaller and smaller portions of meat (so that the little scoop wasn't even full of chicken, for example). Today I went in and I think it was a manager (in a red shirt) who made my sandwich. Again I got a small portion of chicken but the unbelievable fun came when it was time for vegetables. I asked for her to be generous and she literally, no kiddin' put on 4 tiny little pieces of onion. I asked for more and got 2 more, and more and got another and more and still didn't have much. Same with all the other vegetables. She finally said, "I'm going to have to charge you extra for all these vegetables." Honestly, there weren't that much, at least not even as many as I have always easily gotten at every other Subway. I told her that I didn't want the sandwich and walked out. There are 2 or three other stores within a half mile of this one. Do yourself a favor. Go to a different one. There is one Leetsdale and Holly, 8th and Colorado Blvd, Florida and Colorado BLVD and there are two near 1st and University.
