Right around the corner from my house with fast, friendly service. That's all I can ask for in a Starbucks. Oh, and a decent place to sit and review life with my husband. Ha :)

Coffee. What more is there to say? I'm not really a fan of coffee, so when I do find myself in a coffee shop, I usually order the iced tea. Since it's damn near impossible to mess up iced tea, the only way for me to judge a coffee shop is by the service, cleanliness, and ambiance. The baristas I've dealt with have all been friendly. The sitting area is clean, and they usually have some decent music playing. It's a Starbucks, and if you've been to one, you've been to them all. The parking can be kind of a pain in the ass, since Starbucks shares the lot with about half a dozen other businesses. Fortunately, the times I've been there, I haven't had to deal with that, but I can imagine that it's annoying if you're there during the morning coffee rush hour.

Oh course we all know the basics with Starbucks...strong / flavorful coffee as available as fast food...tasty treats w/ wifi and a place to park while you study or catch up on a good book... So why write a review you ask? Well when the crew is exceptionally nice, and they top off your refillable cup w/o bumping you up to a larger size those are what I call 'Extras' in the WOS (World of Starbucks). Keep up the excellent customer service i.e. the 'Lincoln Ave Beacon' & those locations that know what I'm talking about. For you know there's not much that separates the product from the next one down the block or up the street so doing so with Pizzaz and a smile keep us coming back ;-).

Really? In my 4 years of living in this neighborhood I've never rated this Starbucks and I've only checked in once? Odd since I frequent this location two or three times a week. Well what can I say? It's Starbucks, and whenever I order a drink, it's made perfectly and the staff is friendly and efficient as Starbucks staff usually are. This Starbucks is located in that shopping plaza nestled between Broadway, 6th and Lincoln. You know the one with *that* parking lot? So avoid it during peak hours. I know I do.

I ordered a unique drink I've had several times at Starbucks all over Denver and it's never been a problem. It's essentially a blended Americano (quad shot of espresso blended with a Venti cup of ice). Comes out a weird consistency because it has no base, but it's a calorie free frapp essentially that I add protein powder to so I love it! I always ask nicely and explain it'll come out weird so not to worry. I hate being that person that's a difficult customer so I usually tell them whatever weird thing comes out of the blender it's fine. Cashier was a sweet friendly girl. But the man who made it was seriously a straight-up ass. I have never had someone be so rude! He clearly looked pissed off about having to make it and then when it spilled as he couldn't pour it out of the blender efficiently, he got more pissed and tosses the blender in the sink and begins to start over. I said it's fine whatever consistency comes out, I know it's a weird drink. then he snarkily says "well I don't think you would want me to wipe it off the counter" referring to putting the spilled drink back in my cup. So he remade it with a serious attitude and stuck it in front of me with a snotty face. Honestly, that's never ok when you work customer service. I worked for years in multiple coffee shops and in retail and never treated someone so rudely. Sorry your job is to make coffee and I asked you to do that?? No I'm not sorry. I have had nasty customers and always been polite back to them so I do not appreciate being treated like I'm a jerk for politely asking for a drink that I explained to you how to make and said I'll take whatever comes out. Geez Mr. long mustache man, take a chill pill or get a different job! I won't ever come back here.

Nobody reads a review of Sbux to hear about their coffee, right? I appreciate the re-modeling that they've done since I last visited (way back in 2006ish). More tables, more outlets, more seating. There's a pretty steady stream of people coming in for their caffeine fix, but nothing too distracting or obnoxious. Pros: 1) free and private parking lot (shared with all the other businesses at this location). 2) plenty of outlets, tables, and chairs if you need a "home office" for the day. 3) it's sbux. you know the quality of the drinks/food. Cons: 1) parking. yes, dedicated and free, but can be hard to find d/t the number of businesses. I think I'll pick this Sbux location to be my "usual" Sbux for studying/working.

After more than a decade of patronizing Starbucks around the world, I know that the person behind the counter - particularly the one making your extra grande 20-shot mocha choca woo woo - can make or break your experience. I happened to have an awesome experience here. The barista was rad and made one of the best Starbucks cappuccinos I've ever had. He messed up my friend's drink (who was sitting outside and had no idea), and dumped and remade it before ever handing it to me. At Starbucks, I usually end up walking away with a drink that's too light/heavy and just suck it up, but mine was perfect and I was really pleasantly surprised to see him acknowledge an error and actually care enough to remake it. That's someone who understands what it means to work in retail and who wants to please the customers he serves. Very, very appreciated. Kudos!

After the DISAPPOINTING DINNER a few steps away, J and I headed to this Starbucks, while waiting for Hubs to pick me up. That evening was on Friday, March 15th 2013. Opt to have Iced Hazelnut Macchiato, Tall 12 oz. I like, just a cold beverage, to fill my sweet tooth treat. Free treat from J. Thank you, J. If I am not mistaken J opt to have a Hot Beverages of somekind. The service was fast. This Starbucks was kept clean that includes the Ladies washroom. Parking outside can be a little nightmare. For a Starbucks at this corner, it feels spacious. May return if needed when in this part of neighborhood. @59/2013

Friendly, efficient staff. Well stocked goodies. Large parking lot. Convenient location. And this Starbucks will be on this earth long after we depart. Enjoy!

If you can survive the parking lot, this Starbucks lives up to the brand's reputation. The seasonal peppermint mocha is nice. This location has cosy chairs and seems to be buzzing with internet cafe types all day every day. Nothing special, the service is competent, the drinks live up to what's promised. Stop by to re-charge.

Starbucks. Hmmmm. Skinny iced chai = delish Vanilla cupcake = not delish. Please serve with a fork. Lack of free wifi = boo Outlet situation = could be better Parking = somewhat headache inducing, depending on the time of day you're visiting Help = 5 stars. That makes up for the cupcakes. I may be back. That is all.

Just about what you would expect from a Starbucks. Coffee is hot and okay, the employees work fast to get you your drinks. Those employees seem okay, but don't banter with the customers as much as I would like. Probably the worst feature about this location is parking. The lot they share seems to be a magnet for inept drivers, the lot is small and tight, so getting in and getting out takes patience. I just park on Broadway and walk over.

Someone kept saying mam mam, I was in nowhere land I guess. They finally got my attention and I said I need coffee. They could tell I was in dire need of my latte. I received it in record time and off I went to start my day. It was a good and did the trick.

Standard Starbucks here, with for some reason, much cuter staff(?). Albeit that's highly subjective, but there are predominantly more hot staff people here than I've ever seen work at a Starbucks, possibly a model recruiting company / coffee house hybrid I've been reading about these days.

On Fridays, when I cave in and buy a second special coffee treat for myself in the afternoon, I go here. Because it's closer to my work than Peet's. And every other coffee shop I'd rather go to. But whatever. What I like: it's the most consistent location I've found. Baristas at other Starbucks locations make me angry for wasting money on watery gross coffee. I've had good experiences with all the baristas at this location. What I really don't like: the set up of their counter. Just as I am a fan of being able to see the kitchen where my food is being prepared, I like to be able to see my shot being pulled. The way this (and most other Starbucks locations I've visited) place is set up makes it impossible for you to see what's going on back there. Sketchy. If you are preparing me anything that is going in my mouth, I should be able to see you do it. What's to hide? And seeing how pulling a shot of espresso is two parts science and one part art, I'd like to be able to watch it happen. It's one of those things that I find amazing. Like the moment when you take off from the ground in an airplane. The parking lot here can be infuriating if you are in it during lunch rush, which I absolutely avoid, at all costs, even if it means delaying coffee gratification for an hour.

What a disappointing Starbucks. Wifi out for multiple days. No pike available when I wanted one and was offered willow instead. Other Starbucks offer to comp your coffee when that happens usually. Lots of homeless people hanging outside.
