Favorite. Starbucks. Ever. The folks here are friendly, sweet and ALWAYS get my order right, PLUS it's right on my way home from work and breaks up the horrid bottleneck that is Speer during rush hour. Yesterday, the cute 20 something girl even complimented my 'super cute outfit'. Happy. Enjoy!

Many Yelp users have commented on the friendly baristas, and it's true. Consistent product here, which is what's most important to me . . . Downtown location not far from Convention Center & Hyatt Regency . . . Older feel . . . Perhaps not quite as nice inside as other large-city, downtown locations I've visited . . .

I love this Starbucks. My friend works here. Her name is Savannah. She's really nice, so is the rest of the staff.

Crowded and loud, but good service and very nice baristas. My companions and I got our correct drinks in a decent amount of time, each one presented with a smile from the person behind the counter. We were able to stay for quite a while, just chatting and watching people pass by outside the window. More stars if the noise level hadn't been so high and the store hadn't been so messy.

Well hello Starbucks where did you come from? This was constructed in what felt like a week and she was ready to go. The drive-thru was quick and friendly. I got my favorite soy green tea latte and holy wah it was hot! The drive-thru was strange you have to make some killer turns but I really like that you can exit onto Speer talk about convenient!

Other reviewers are right-the staff here is always so friendly! I love the walk up window, I use this Starbucks as a destination when walking my dog. On a nice day the patio is a good option. Thanks for the friendly service Starbucks!

The employees of this Starbucks are just the nicest people ever but man do their drinks suck. I have yet to experience a remotely decent drink from this location. My lattes always taste like burnt piss - very bad. I only frequent this location because I don't have to get out of the car on my way to work. It's always very busy in the morning so be prepared to wait a while. I rolled up at 630 AM one morning like "Yeeaaah I'm gonna beat the crowd!" and when I turned the corner I saw that the line was backed up to Galapago. I'm sure long A.M. lines are standard for every Starbucks everywhere so I can't hold it against them. I just can't give them more than two stars because their drinks are consistently bad.

Beyond shocked... I watch people walk in and out of this starbucks all day. I personally come in here and purchase things often. The one time I don't purchase anything I just wanted to fill my water bottle and the guy said "don't you see we sell water?" There was no line at all, he wasn't busy he just didn't want to fill the water... it's absurd. I will no longer be bringing my business here.

Good drinks but slow service. There are usually people be hind the counter just walking around doing nothing when there is a long line. PLEASE use both registers when there is a line! Don't go here if you are in a hurry.

Never had a bad experience here. And every barista has been more than cordial! Only complaint is the location, though it's not their fault for odd city planning.

This is the Starbucks across from the Jamba Juice, One gripe of going downtown is distinguishing which Starbucks to check into. This place has given consistent service every time I have been here. Just a note, it is pretty small location with a few 2-seater tables at the most.

  • Rachel W.

Consistantly excellent service! Ethan makes a PERFECT espresso macchiato!

  • Brandon C.

Good enough. Have had better fraps and friendlier service.

Always friendly and fast, great Starbucks!

Oooooook, so its a Starbucks, right? Well, for a corporate coffeeshop, its pretty damn good. Nice staff every time I come in, very convenient location (only a block from work, and steps off the RTD), and pretty good hours (although I've had a conversation with a staffer about them being 24 hours cause that would make me sooooo happy)

Why is their coffee over- roasted? Stop burnin' your beans Starbucks ! (Just sayin')

  • Cortney D.

Their drinks taste watered down at this location. I drove in today and ordered a Chestnut Praline which is SUPER sweet, but mine just tasted like milk. I asked if there was any espresso in it, they remade my drink and it tasted the same. I ordered a different drink and it also just tasted like milk. People don't come to Starbucks for warm milk!!! I will never go back to this location even if it's the last Starbucks in town.

Sean: Quad "Double Shot Beverage", with energy shot, two pumps of sweetener - no milk." Barista: ........ :)))))) Sean: Don't judge me Barista, just give me the fucking caffeine. Barista: Do you need your receipt? :))))) Sean: Give me the fucking caffeine! Barista: Here you go! Have a great day! :)))))) Sean: mmmpphpppp...sweet nectar of insanity....mmmgrrrrrrr.... BURP!!! They are so fucking nice here it makes me want to eat a basket of kittens Still go to Bardo.

I was so excited when this place opened up on my route to work. One of my favourite baristas is Glen Coco, who promptly gives me a high-five every time I yell, "You go, Glen Coco!" Unfortunately I've not seen their friendly faces recently, as they've gotten too popular for their own good. And in the beginning there were a few times I got a free drink because my original order got so messed up but I think they've gotten a lot better. Don't come if you're in hurry; only come if you don't care about coming to work late and/or want to see Glen Coco.

Terribly slow service. Very nice and friendly but super slow. Considering how much traffic this particular Starbucks gets you'd think it would have a top notch crew. I am a regular at several Starbucks in the Highlands Ranch area. Where there is 3x the amount of seating (which leads to more crowd noise) and a constant steady flow of rather uptight-in-a-hurry suburbanites, and I still get my (easy to make) drink faster. PS the lunch hour (12 noon) is probably the worst time to train new employees.

    (2)
  • Amanda C.

Downside is the line and wait time, however the phenomenal service and great team members make it worth the few extra minutes (I just walk faster to get to my car in the mornings ;-) ). My drink is always consistent and I appreciate the friendly and genuine banter at the window. Good job, Starbucks!

This is a Walkup Only or Drive Thru Starbucks, so dont expect a warm lobby. And if your sitting outside I dont recommend it on a freezing cold day. The girl at the window was definitly the friendliest of all the employees at all the Starbucks Ive been to. Of All the Starbucks in all the States I had to walk up and be served by her. :) She made me a Vanilla Latte and it was great and delicious.

I long for the cappuccinos this Starbucks served me every morning during my stay in Denver. They were the closest to a true Italian cappuccino I've had in a long time. I'm home (Orlando) now, and I have tried three of my local Starbucks, and NONE of them make a cappuccino as good as this Starbucks in Denver. I wish I could remember the name of the Barista who made these lovely beverages so you could experience the same. She has blonde hair and a foreign accent.

Always friendly, good coffee - quick, easy and convenient spot! It was great for a quick run from the hotel room.

  • Erin P.

I'll give it to them they are friendly, however when you pay for a grande and they fill your cup up half way it's disappointing. This has happened three times so far. I highly suggest you either check all your drinks before leaving this location & giving it back to them when they do this. It's not like they don't see hot little they are giving you when they pour it in your cup. Frustrating.

You don't need details about the drinks or food because... it's STARBUCKS. Five stars for convenience of location for me. - 1 star for being too popular. I rarely stop b/c it'd make me late for work. - 1 star for being the big box chain instead of a cute indie shop. (ok, fine. i think of sbux as a four star place for being consistent and available almost anywhere.)

I'm so happy this Starbucks has sprung up on my route home from school! I've deduced from observing the building that there is not actually an interior lobby area, but simply a walk up window, a drive through window, and some outdoor tables. Other than these factors, it's your typical Starbucks. Get your caffeine fix here!

    (4)
  • Amanda T.

This Sbux seemed to just pop up all of a sudden. One day, I was driving on Speer to the Highlands and there it was. Yesterday, I needed a cup of coffee on my way to run errands, so it was perfect. The drive-thru was quick and friendly and got my order right, as Sbux usually does. That said the drive-thru is a little odd, almost like being on a go-kart track and the two entrances/exits are on one-way streets. So it's only really convenient if you are on your way somewhere, not as a destination to sit and drink a coffee. But hey if you are doing that, there are much better options in the area, right?

Starbucks.....I like it ...as a huge lover of coffee and tea. It's been 6 months in Denver and I had been here lot of times and finally writing the review. I don't know why I am so lazy to write the review for this starbucks This is located next to 16 and cal light rail in a convenient place, friendly staff, quick in service and the coffee tastes as same as the taste of other starbucks store coffee!!! The down side is this store is pretty small, only with few tables when compared to other.

  • Trevor F.

It's a Starbucks and there is about 15 to many in this area, the store is a little small and all the tables inside were taken and there was a ton more outside. They were fairly fast Ness's Carmel mocie whatever was good by her standards but my apple juice tasted watered down.

you know what to expect at starbucks right? this one is better than the many I've been to across the US. Why? 1.Spectacular service - the morning crew gets through the everpresent morning crowd of 10-15 people very quickly every time 2. Outdoor Patio seating - comfortably seating for 10-15 people with umbrella's. 3. Friendly staff - this is an understatement, these folks actually remember you even if you haven't been in the store in awhile. on a side note: each starbucks does not have a direct line to Howard Schulz, the employees at this location agree that this fact is unfortunate at best.

  • Susie N.

Don't let your car out of your sight at this starbucks, they have a bad towing company come and tow cars right out of the parking lot! I won't go here again!

  • Victoria H.

The coffee was good, but I couldn't get on the internet (looking for updated info from a friend I was meeting). I tried multiple times with my Starbucks card, but no luck. And the baristas were not particularly interested in helping me. Hopefully with the new "one click" internet (it's about dang time, Sbux) I won't have this problem.

Small Starbucks, sitting room for only 10 or so people inside. Paucity of outlets.

I'm at this Starbucks 3 times a week getting my coffee fix. The employees are great. Fast and friendly service. Love.

What is it about a mid 30s DNC attendee in a power suit that makes ones blood boil. I don't know but the coffee wasn't the only thing steaming at this Starbucks. It is Starbucks so that is the only thing that sticks out in my mind. This is the best thing I can get in terms off coffee on the 16th st mall and that is sad. But way to put money back back in to the Seattle economy even when I am not home...for the win! It was the same as every Starbucks I have been except for the DNC attendee of my dreams.

A lifesaver @ 3AM the night before finals. It's a Starbucks, so you know exactly what to expect by now.

5 stars because they are in my building and even though the line is always long they are always fast and friendly.
