I frequent this Starbucks often and it's always been a decent experience. Tonight's visit would definitely be the last time, which is unfortunate because it is the closest from my home. I decided to treat myself to a pastry for the holiday season along with my favorite eggnog latte beverage. I only have one Starbucks pastry a year ( yes I have amazing willpower) and I usually go for a scone. As I walked in a barista was beginning to place the pastries in plastic wraps but figured I was just in time since there were still pastries in the glass enclosure. The barista took my order but refused to sell me a pastry. Something about it being too late. I mentioned there were still unwrapped pastries but it was all for naught. Am I in the wrong here? I really don't believe so. To expect anything but decent customer service just seemed too much to ask for tonight in this establishment. While it may not matter to this barista, Starbucks in Stapleton just lost a loyal customer. I would rate this experience 1 star but the latte was as good as I expected.

Pretty decent Starbucks. Service is good. Fairly busy here and seating can be an issue. There tend to be more kids here too than I'm used to seeing in coffee shops I frequent. They really should expand the seating here, maybe take over the next door shop. The clientele sticking around are mainly families/parents with children gabbing, people meeting up for consultant/business meetings, and some students and teachers studying/working. Good time to go is a couple hours before closing.

This is a fine Starbucks in a good location in Stapleton. As expected the Baristas are competent and friendly. Good service and great coffee is what I expect. I get that here every time!

Great service and consistently good coffee. I know it's not hip, but this place lacks the pretension of crema and some other small shops. I'm a regular and hooked. They also let the local homeless guy stand outside and are really nice to him. A+!

What do you expect. It is a Starbucks just like any other place. They finally got rid of all the merch in the center area and it is staring to resemble a real coffee house again (like the original in Seattle, WA). Now if they can get there act together and get some good coffee.

PRO: Location is nice on the strip. CON: Wish it had a drive through. Or there was a closer one nearby. PRO: The remodel is decent for increasing seating capacity. CON: Remodel does not give much privacy for conversation "over a cup of coffee". PRO: They haven't messed up a drink for me yet. CON: Still hard to find a seat.

This is a small Bucks with a small selection of cups and such but still nice to pick up a drink :)

Stopped by to grab cup of coffee for me and a smoothie for my son. He ordered a "strawberry smoothie" he had a few sips than had an allergic reaction due to the fact that there are bananas in it. Where did it say anywhere that banana where in it? Thank god I had Benadryl and a AuviQ on standby. We where at a very important college showcase tournament out at Dicks and he had to sit out for the rest of the day. I can't believe I was so stupid to believe that Starbucks would include all ingredients. I will NEVER trust them again. What a shame. Thanks Starbucks you suck! Hate you for almost killing my son. You and your "Strawberry Smoothies" can go to he@&.

Hello corporate, please listen: this store needs an immediate intervention. I appreciate the volume of business that this location does but that is no excuse for: A) screwing up drink orders on a consistent basis B) stupendously long times for bar drinks - up to 20 minutes during peak hours. This is not an exception but the rule. C) an unkempt seating area that *feels* dirty D) running out of staple food offerings Your brand matters and this store does nothing to improve your reputation. Get with the program and help your staff succeed. This is definitely a management problem that goes beyond the individual store. *Avoid this place during peak hours. On Saturday and Sunday that means all day.*

I agree with John V. This particular store is always screwin up my drinks orders and occasionally my food order! Service is poor and slow. Even on non-busy times like 6 am, I have a good 8 minute wait. During peak hours, anytime on Saturdays, I'll skip the Starbucks for the 20 minute line out the door and the 20 minute wait for drinks. Ridiculous! For example: this am my green tea latte was pale green milk, good thing the one barista congratulated the other one on making her first green tea latte. When I tried to call I got a voicemail service, getting the phone number from both yelp, google and my Starbucks app. Poor business.

Seriously. I get the exact same drink everytime. When I am persuaded to go to this location (only because I'm meeting friends) I am disappointed 75 percent of the time. Nothing wrong with the location, but staff is not overly friendly and I swear they make my drink differently from every other Starbucks I've been to. And it's not a good different. I prefer to drive over to the northfield location drive thru or go in king soopers.

My favorite feature at this particular Starbucks is the long bar counter with stools. This is something I have not seen in other Starbucks, and definitely adds to the seating area. Unfortunately, the drinks are basically served right in the middle of this seating area, so it is rather congested with people. The layout of the store would be fine, it it were not that busy, which I am guessing it usually is. My normal drink I had here the other day was just fine. On a separate drink I ordered, I basically messed up when I ordered it. I noticed this when they gave it to me, and I offered to buy another one. They cheerfully remade the drink for me at no charge (despite it being my fault), and I thought that was pretty cool of them. Parking immediately adjacent is limited.

I certainly hope that the district or regional manager reads this post. I have been going to this store for the last 3 months since I moved into the neighborhood. This store has is the most inconsistent store in the area. I have never had one drink actually taste the same...ever. Half the time the omit syrups, have very weak coffee (as if they are brewing whole pots with half the grounds), and have ridiculous wait times. I have actually started going to the kiosk in King Soopers as they actually make the drinks according to the recipe. Its a total disappointment to wait 15-20 minutes for a drink only to find it is made wrong. I have been a supporter of Starbucks since the early 90's when they only had a handful of shops in the Seattle area. I hope this gets fixed.

When in Denver for a vacation this was my local coffee shop and I dropped by a few times for my green tea latte fix. While they've been made from different baristas I find they tend to under-fill the drinks by a half inch or so which is a bit disappointing. Especially when you get a tall. I'm looking forward to returning to my local Starbucks back in SF.

Love that this is in our very own Stapleton and it is a neighborhood hot spot for sure. Service was always a good thing, but after Danny & Libby left, grumpy people and they can't even look you in the eyes to say good morning. Just smile!!!!!!!!!!! It is a busy starbucks. They need more space and to renovate it a bit

Stopped in here this morning for a morning coffee. The Barista's were knowledgeable and friendly, one even commented on my shirt and asked me if I worked there. Very nice conversation with her. They were offering samples of iced coffee which is a pleasure to see. I was in and out in less than 3 minutes with very nice service. No complaints, I will definitely revisit this Starbucks since it is within walking distance of my place. Thank you Starbucks!

Love this Starbucks. It's a good size and offers breakfast and lunch items. Although there is always a line here, the staff is helpful and efficient. My only complaint is the morning rush gets a bit hectic that the staff does not have time to clean up the tables. But other than that, I've never had a bad experience at this location.

I came here today with what I thought was an "about to expire" Google Offer. Google sent me an email that I needed to redeem my offer as it was about to expire. When they tried to scan the eGift, the balance was zero. I didn't remember using the deal, so they got on the phone to see what was going on. It ended up taking awhile, as they were put on hold, and I had to leave as I only had 30 minutes for lunch. They offered me a free drink and the breakfast wrap I had ordered (since it was already made). Anyhow, it turned out that I had already used the deal, shortly after I bought it (a year ago). An obvious customer error, but their customer service remained fantastic the whole time. I plan to swing by (with cash) real soon and leave a big tip in the tip jar.

I go to Starbucks by my office downtown every weekday. They are fast and friendly. Occasionally, I stop by this one on weekends because it is by my house. First, these employees regularly mess up our drinks. They argue and get attitudes when you ask them to make it right. Second, they are incredibly slow. Today, the manager announced she had to "text her mom a recipe first" before heating up breakfast sandwiches, as she stood behind the counter talking to her friend sitting on the other side. Third, on Sunday at 8am all of their food selections were picked over. This branch needs an overhaul desperately. Run inside the neighboring King Soopers if you're in the area and want coffee.

My only complaint is that this location gets sooo busy! There seating area is usually packed and it is pretty hard to find a table. Their is a bar seating area with ~5 seats and a few tables outside. They usually have enough people working to move the line through but the wait can get long if you are in a hurry.

First and foremost, the layout here sucks and there is a line out the door no matter what time you go. The line is caused by the layout so I'm usually annoyed before getting there in anticipation of this bottleneck and usually get what I expect. Yes, the staff is friendly, but I think they need to drink some espresso because they seem to be missing some of the Starbucks hustle I've grown accustomed to. One tip though (this goes for all participating S'bux), if you buy a bag of coffee (I get mine from King Soopers) and bring it to a location, you get a free brewed coffee! Not a bad deal, if I do say so myself.

Now before you raise your eyebrow and say, "What the hell? How does a Starbucks get 5 stars?!?!" Let me tell you... I'm a Starbucks lover. Too much for you to handle - well then, I'm sorry. Just think, one less person is standing in line in front of you at your local smaller coffee house. Sure, I visit those too, I'm in love with coffee as a whole. I LOVE this location. I love the outdoor seating around the corner just outside the window. I love brining my computer here and working into the evening hours in the summer time. I love the staff overall. I LOVE that I've been here at least 20 times and not once have I ever had a problem with my order - even when ordering multiple drinks. I love grabbing a coffee and walking down to the green for a family movie in the park. I love that even when the place is packed that the staff knows what they are doing and the line moves quickly. This is truly one of my favorite Starbucks locations in Denver.
