This location shares building and property with a Shell fuel station. The Popeye location is NOT very well illumined. You would not know there was a Popeye's there unless you actually know. The Service is very SLOW. They act as you are bothering them to place the order. On the plus side the order is freshly cooked as they seem to cook every order when the order is placed. Good food, LOUSY and SLOW service!

Okay After having improved a couple of years ago they are back to either not caring or just being bone-headed. My 3 piece combo chicken dinner had no white meat. Instead of the red beans and rice I asked for I was served mashed potatoes. I ordered iced tea and was given sweetened iced tea. In general I like Popeye's and the food is not bad but they need to pay attention or care or change something at this location. I will start driving 3 extra miles to go to the one on 84th again.

Every time I have came to this location, they have managed to screw up my order even on simple things not to mention Some of the workers look unclean and I question if I really want these people handling my food. Don't go here, even if it's the closest location it's worth the drive to go somewhere else. I wouldn't even give it one star but to post this , I didn't have a choice.

Service is terrible. Food is good, but hope that you get what you order. The last few times I've been there, the service has been terrible. Very, very slow. Last time we went inside, and at first there was nobody there, we waited several minutes and then an employee came in from a door (was he outside? in a closet? I wasn't sure.) Once he finally arrived, there was a line of customers, and the employee could not multitask at all. He was the only one working the counter, so he'd take an order, wait for the food to cook, and then serve it, all before even looking at the next person. Then the cook would stand around and wait for the next order. So inefficient. Today we got drive-through service. We ordered a meal with mild chicken and coleslaw instead of fries. Although we specified these preferences twice, it was rung up as spicy chicken with fries, so that's what we got. Unfortunately there is no order screen to verify that your order is correct. We saw later that the receipt showed the order wrong, but by the time we saw this, when we got home, it was too late to do anything about it. Go ahead and visit this location, if you don't mind waiting. Just make sure to check your food before you leave and make sure you got what you ordered.

I love Popeyes, their food is so yummy but this location has rude workers and the food isn't ever really fresh. Also, the pricing at this place is ridiculous! Seriously, no matter what my husband and I get here it seems to add up to at least $25 every single time! I have banned us from going here because it is just too expensive for some fast food chicken.

Usually, this Popeyes is a great restaurant. Yes, it is not fine dining as it is located in a gas station. This shouldn't be a cause for concern. Most of the time, the employees are nice and prompt in service. Today, my kids and I stood there for about five minutes before an employee stepped up to the counter to take our order. So, today, service was lacking. I thought the food would redeem our visit today. Not so. The food was cold. Not just room temperature cold, almost ice cold. Looking behind the scenes, I could see an employee adjusting the dials on the heat lamp while sticking her hand under the lights to test them out. Clearly, they were not working. Will we eat here again? Yes, we will. I am a New Orleans girl and this is the closest Popeyes to me. Hopefully, it will be better next time....

This popeyes will not get your order correct. Never... We still go there because it is close, but you have to check your order and I would suggest going inside to order because the employees cannot speak english. Two stars only because the food is still good.

It's OK...service is usually shotty. Inside a gas station isn't too appealing. But the chicken is usually tasty, biscuits are generally ok.
