What a very pleasant surprise! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is outstanding! Portions were outstanding, and everything was fresh. My family and I look forward to going back!

Don't waste your time going here. Your salsa will be frozen, your steak burrito will be so full of overcooked bristly steak that you will have to spit out nearly every bite, and when you ask the server for nachos with half beans and half chicken she will bring you a whole plate of nachos with all beans and half chicken. And then, you'll be expected to pay full price for the order that they messed up on, and quite frankly the food taste like Taco Bell, which is fine... If you are at Taco Bell.

Go here if you want to be treated really poorly and eat food cooked in rancid oil. Margaritas aren't bad, but I can get a good Margarita anywhere.

Food and service are impeccable! Was pleasantly shocked about how delicious it was. I had the beef fajitas.

There are a few Mexican restaurants around this area that I frequent and out of all the wait staff, they have the nicest ladies working there. There are other restaurants that will stop serving breakfast right at 10, however they will still serve you breakfast even if it is past the cut off which is refreshing. I love there chips and salsa too it is spicy which I love and not to watery. The food is also yummy I will definitely be a return customer.

Used a coupon and they knew how to apply it. Food was excellent. Service was friendly and fast as possible. It was a busy night. We've gone by the place millions of times and not until I got the coupon on my aarp did we try it. I could kick myself! Try the bacon wrapped shrimp rellenos. You will love them!

We went tonight; disappointed; will not go back. My wife`s Chicken taco was weak; why would it be hard to make a good taco ? And I had Carne adovado De Puerco. It was the worst piece of meat possible. Very thinly sliced pork, cooked to death, my shoe was more tender. I told them it was dry, not very good & got a "sorry", so yes sorry won`t be back, too many other good Mex places.

This is our usual "Go To" restaurant on the weekends because the food is good, the beers are cold, the waitresses are friendly and the food gets to your table quickly. There's a popular Mexican restaurant 3 blocks away that charges higher prices and in my opinion tastes no different than Playa Azul. Playa Azul may not have the fancy tables or bigger location, but hey, I'm here to eat the food, not sight see. I highly recommend the Mexican hamburger, the pasole or the chicken chimichanga - but I think you'll like whatever you order. The chili isn't spicy at all, so if that's what you're looking for, you will be disappointed.

Went there with a dealchicken deal and they didn't know how it worked. So they wouldn't let us use it. Also the owner would not come talk with us about it, so we will never go there again. Was very long and loyal customer's never again

Was very disappointed when we visited this restaurant. We had a restaurant.com certificate and actually drove more than 20 miles to get there. The food was mediocre at best, the beans had an off taste...kind of metallic. The worst part was the place did not have a working bathroom...both the ladies and the men's restrooms were plugged and not able to be used. Staff was asked a few times if they were working on it and although several staff went in and out of both restrooms, nothing was done to fix the problem. We had two young children that needed to use the restroom so they had to be taken across the street to the gas station to use their restroom. If the food had been exceptional, the bathroom issue wouldn't keep us from returning, however with mediocre food and the restroom problems....we won't be returning.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
