Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

An hour and a half delivery time, then pizza arrived cold. Not warm, not room temperature. Cold. The Pizza Hut is only five miles away from where it was delivered. Otherwise the pizza was okay, just regular Pizza Hut pizza. I should have paid attention to the other reviews.

Interesting. Ordered a pizza with spinach... never had it added to pie raw on top of everything after everything else is cooked. Just interesting. Would have liked the spinach cooked. The pasta I also order was ok. Not dry, moist

No complaints here, ordered my pie and some wings. My order was done fast... pizza was hot and tasty, buffalo wings had great heat and flavor.

I'm a loyal Pizza Hut purchaser. I've had bad after bad service, & I've ordered at this location a couple times before. This was the worse service I've had in awhile. I ordered because a bunch of my friends were coming over. We were all really hungry & finally decided to order Pizza Hut. We ordered online & the wait was 45mins. It was late so I called, the manager didn't seem sincere at all. He gave me a promo code which barely did anything. The pizza eventually appeared after 90+ mins, it was cold, looked like it got tossed around & I don't think we even finished it after being so hungry. -Fall 2013

LAME! LAME! LAME! - website & staff & manager! Placed an on-line order an hour+ ago. 35 minutes later & though their website stated the order was successfully submitted the staff said they had no record of it. No offer to make it right either! Yes I checked it 3 x's to make sure it was all in order. Poor business management!

One is too many stars...ive seen pizzas show up with a lazy amount of misplaced cheese, but my pizzas had none! That was after waiting over an hour to get them late. Called the store when they hadnt shown up yet and she said "I dont know it needs to be 30 minutes late before I see whats going on"???? No napkins or peppers, tetrible waste money! If youre in Denver, call anywhere but here!

Worst. Pizza Hut. Ever. They've "forgotten" to put my pizza in the oven several times. They usually make up for it with "discounts". My pizza has been made wrong a handful of times. It's always an inconvenience. I don't know why I come back, I guess I just love pizza. Next time I'll stick to Domino's down the street. Delivery is even worse. 1-2 hour delivery times.

  • Bill B.

I don't know why this place has 1.5 stars. Its a Pizza Hut. The pizza taste good and takes 20 mins to make. I always "Carry-out" so I've never had any problem with delivery. When I asked the (shift)Manager why all the bad reviews he said that a lot of his delivery staff had quit and the wait can get pretty long for delivery on peak nights, which is understandable. The only time I've had anything unexpected happen was Valentine's night. I ordered, drove over, and had to wait ~10 extra mins for my food. They were swamped and the manager offered everyone waiting a free pizza and drinks. I gave 5 stars because it is exactly as I expect a Pizza Hut to be. Good, fast, pizza. ( I always order a stuffed-crust pork sausage and cheesy bread sticks)

  • Megumi H.

I wouldn't even give it one star. It's not worthy to even be open. This is THE WORST Pizza Hut I have ever eaten from. The customer service is horrible. Apparently they outsource a lot of their calls, so trying to get a person at the actual store is very inconvenient. Not only that but our order was incorrect so we called to get it fixed or a credit or something. The manager said that we had to return it in order to get a credit. First off, why would we order something we're allergic to? Second, why would I go way the heck out of my way to take it back when it was the rep that took the orders fault? Horrible, very much not recommended

I don't know why I gave this location another chance. These people are seriously retarded. How do you mess up pizzas with such regularity????

  • M J.

Consistently late. Consistently bad customer service. The managers never have a clue what is going on, but are quick to blame their employees for the problem. I order several times a week. love Pizza Hut food and Pizza Hut drivers! But the management here is CONSISTENTLY THE worst I've EXPERIENCED. I used to work for a blackjack and my husband used to work for Domino's (awhile ago). Food is sometimes good, food is sometimes on time, managers will lie to your face!

  • Joe N.

Simple, the pizza sucks & the manager doesn't have a clue! Ordered pizza @ 6:27 pm est of arrival 7:09pm got here @ 8:05?? Dominos came 5 min after that... this place SUX!!!

In a pinch and when incredibly lazy this is my neighborhood Pizza Hut! Last night was one of those nights, I also was watching Ultimate Recipe Showdown and since I don't have any of the ingredients the contestants was using and also being affected by the fore mentioned laziness! I dialed the magical 303-751-111, but since it was my cell they couldn't find me so I hung up and logged online and ordered two medium pizzas with 3 toppings for 24 bucks damn everyone is raping us now. Hindsight told me I could of got a rib eye and artichoke from King Soppers for 6 bucks! This damn Sunday evening Laziness Affliction is costing me loot! I made it through the ordering online bit and was told my pizzas would be here in 123 Minutes! WTF really, who else misses the days of the 30 minutes guarantees and associated death races to deliver that promise! When I got my AKA Natural Pies, Their current marketing scheme made me realize these fools just told on themselves. WTF were we eating before Pizza Hut jumped on the all natural train!

This has to be the worst customer service ever. My husband tried to do something nice for me while I was at home sick. He went online and ordered me dinner not realizing that they require the credi card. I read the email and noice that requirement. I called Pizza hut and in formed them of what happened. I was trying to cancel he order when I guess whoever I was talking to put me on hold with out lettting me know and then I got a very rude person tha was put out that I was trying to do the right thing since neither my husband nor the credit card were here. I have ordered from here before and got the wrong order. It was late and the driver called to tell me he was lost he acted llke it was my fault for where I lived. I will never order from any Pizza Hut again in my life. They have no concept of whatt customer servie is. If I could give less that one star I would.

A nasty culinary abortion. This chain must die. My old lady actually gets ill when she eats this shit. You see for a plain pie, they actually lard up the pan before making. I know that you have to grease it, but they seriously throw down a shit ton of the stuff before they lay down the dough (had a buddy who worked there years ago) and if you have a gentle stomach, it will lay you out. It's not a meal, it's like an acid trip, you need to plan for it: bring a friend who's not eating, block off about 8 hours, and get ready to lay about and moan for a long time. The only worst thing is Sbarros (uggghhhh).

    (1)
  • Brandon D.

They had to shut down. Said they didn't have the staff to deliver a pizza. So i called Papa Johns. One star is too many.

  • Jason M.

Our business wasn't in their system so we had to give them all our information. Why can't you just deliver to the address? Had to deal with their "national call number" and since I didn't know the zip code, they told me to call back and I might get the actual location. Really? We are literally two blocks away. THEY should call me. Too much hassle. Uno's is just down the street with WAY better pizza. Calling them now...I just didn't want to have to pick it up.

    (1)
  • George B.

Placed my order online, was told that order should be delivered by 2:48, at 3:08 I received A phone call from a blocked #, figuring it was the driver, I answered, only to be hung up on. I waited 3 minutes figuring they would call back. When they didn't, I called the store. It was in fact the driver, and since I hadn't answered, he returned to store and they cancelled my order. Why bother asking for an address if your drivers aren't bright enough to look for it? I had a direct view of the entrance, and the driver never came in the building, and I didn't even see a pizza hut sign drive into the lot. Worst experience ever dealing with pizza hut, but rest assured that this particular one will NEVER get my business.

  • Jason C.

Horrible! Ordered my pizza online & showed up 45mins later to give them time to make it. When I arrived, I was told it was going to be an additional 25mins & it's 8:48PM. Would this happen if Peyton Manning was owner? lol

    (1)
  • Tim B.

Id give zero stars if I could. 2 hour wait I was told. 1hr 45 mins in - no pizza even being made, told another 50 mins. Unhelpful staff .... ordering online isuppos3d to speed this up ....what a joke

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
