Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

I placed an order online for delivery. Your website automatically directed me to 975 S Federal Blvd as the closest store that delivers to our address. I got an email saying my order would be delivered FROM THAT STORE at 6:12 pm. I waited 20 minutes after the order should have arrived and then called the store. They said that they didn't have a record of the order and that they do not deliver to our address. When I pressed her and said "I have an order number - can you look it up?" the woman on the phone said no, she would not look up the number and that I was basically out of luck. So I've been charged for this order (I can see it on the credit card site already) but no one is actually making it or delivering it and the restaurant feels absolutely no responsibility for it and I got no notice that it was canceled. Oh and your customer service phone line keep me waiting on hold for 15 minutes before I finally hung up, still with no refund. Truly awful.

This pizza hut is awful. I ordered at 4:25pm, said it would be 45 minutes. Pizza got there a hour later. Order a cheese and supreme. The supreme is so gross. Taste like it was made hours ago. Cheese does not look any better. When i called to see where our pizza was the guy was rude and acted like I was bothering him. The lady came walking down the street. My house is not hard to find. I asked her to bring it inside just a little bit but she refused, um I have a broken leg. Not easy to carry pizza on crutches. I will never order from there again. I will eat at little caesers across the street!!

About 2 weeks ago I ordered one of their new pizzas which had a red sauce as any normal pizza does. Well we bit into it and it was full of white mushy sauce. So of course I call an complain and they credit my account for next time. I get it. It happens right So next time comes and I'm hungry for pizza. I see they have all of these awesome drizzles and crust flavors so I order up a pizza with siracha honey and boy was this the most amazing pizza I have ever had!! I was so glad I had credit and learned they had these flavors..... Well of course we want more. Order again for pick up and both of our large pizzas were missing he drizzle and crust flavor... What a disappointment as this is why we have grown to love this place. So again I figure shit happens... Order 20 minutes ago this favorite pizza with the siracha honey drizzle and crust. Yet again these losers forget the most important part. So I call and complain and luckily they credit my actual card and give me a 25$ credit for next time. Unfortunately I'd rather drive across town Togo somewhere else that knows how to read an order ticket rather than hassle with these idiots again. They obviously can't read their own orders. What a shame.

I ordered a pizza and some breadsticks. The delivery driver forgot my breadsticks, which was not a big deal. When he came back, he brought me old, hard, and inedible cheese sticks that they must have "microwaved" or something to that nature. Very disappointed in this place. I was hoping that "new management" would mean better quality/service but I was wrong.

Placed delivery order, two hours later still no food. Called they said it was delivered forwarded to supervisor call center in Pittsburgh. "we can't locate the food that was supposed to be delivered, nor can we make the order again but we'll refund your money and give you a$15 credit as a f#k you...

This is a bit of a late review, but after seeing what else has been said about them, I felt people must know to avoid them at all costs. I have a job where only one person is on shift at any given time. So, that necessitates ordering out if you forget to bring in food. Okay, enough background, let's get to the details. I ordered the pizza sliders that they had been advertising and figured it would be enough to fill me up without getting overly full. After waiting an hour and twenty minutes, the driver rolls in to the lot, gives me the box and tells me the total. Before I pay, I have a habit of doing a quick quality check. Boy am I glad I did! The cheese was so melted that it was burnt almost black, onto the corrugated insert instead of on the mini pizzas. I politely informed the gal that if I were to pay for this, I would need new product because this one was unacceptable. First response, "It's not my fault.", I said I understood but I refused to purchase the current mess. Second response, "But it's not my fault.", again, I understand but I would like new sliders. She then had the gal to state "The cook is having a bad day. I'll see if he is WILLING to remake it." I bid her goodbye and then fumed at such a poor response. Two hours later, nothing. I proceed to call the location and inquire about where my food is, I am put on hold. I give my name and phone number, they can't find my order and proceed to put me on hold, again. He then offers to take my order, again, I state that my shift will probably be over by the time it gets here and that I would like my delivery drivers name. Put on hold, again. He proceeds to give me a name, followed by the comment "I think". At this point, I am a bit perturbed. I decide to ask for the too good to remake my food cook's name, I am then put on hold, AGAIN! He gives me a name, followed by another "I think", then you hear the offending party hollering to the guy on the phone, "Is this about those f*****n slides?! Tell that m*****f****r my name is Rooster Cogburn!" For those not in the know, that is a True Grit reference. Rather than keep on, I inform him that I will be reporting them all to corporate. Went through that ridiculous process and get a response that "I will be contacted by the Store Manager within 3 days to discuss my experience.", that was like 6 months ago. I have received neither a phone call from that location manager, nor a response from corporate informing them that this is still an open complaint. Stay far away from this location and in my opinion, Pizza Hut in general. Their customer service protocols are truly horrendous.

This place is terrible, I called in a cheese pizza order for the kids. When I went to pick it up, parking in the Pizza Hut lot, I walked across the street to pick up the Pho for the adults first. Only being gone for less than two mins, I returned to get the pizza and go home. Low and behold my car was gone, towed. I went inside Pizza Hut and explained what had just happened to the rude, unfriendly manager and she said she can not do anything, she didn't even know what tow company to call to get my car back!!! I asked for the general managers info and she refused to give me anything but a name....no contact info. $290.00 and 1 hour later I got my car back, and learned something, if Pizza Hut was the last food establishment on earth, I still would never return to it.

This has to be the absolute worst experience I have ever had ordering pizza. First at 730p on Saturday I placed an order for two pizzas and breadsticks online. Once finished the time said two hours to deliver. After 15 minutes my brother came over and said he would pick it up if it would be faster. I called the location and the girl on the phone told me they were very busy and without asking my name said yes they were done, then they were on their way already and finally they were in the oven. Knowing since she had no clue who I was, she has no way of knowing where my pizza is. I asked for a manager, who was as bright as the first girl. I explained to him I placed an order online and want to pick it up now. He couldnt find my order because he was looking under pick up. Finally he said the pizza would be ready in 20 minutes, My brother heads down there only to find one of the pizzas was lost. They proceeded to remake the pizza. Wrong of course so they had to remake for a third time. While waiting my brother checked the other pizza only to discover the wrong sauce was used. The worker told my brother that is how it was ordered and wouldnt make a new pizza. Finally she demanded a picture of my order proving that it was wrong and proceeded to remake that pizza. They ended up crediting the whole order, gave us two extra free pizzas (because as she explained the cooks were messing up all night as well as burning stuff) and even a $15 credit for next time. Which I will probably never use because this was too big of a headache to deal with again even for $15 off. Get your store under control. This is very bad management. As well as rude and you need to learn to take responsibility and learn how to use your systems. In the end it still took two hours to get the pizzas. Guess picking it up wasnt any faster.

We decided to try Pizza Hut for dinner tonight since we have been dedicated Dominos Pizza goers and felt like a change. BIG MISTAKE. I ordered online, which was painless and the delivery was on point; however when we opened the box, needless to say we were disappointed. At first glance everything looked good except that I ordered honey BBQ wings and not the boneless, chicken nuggets, with a side a dipping sauce, that was sadly in the box. Upon calling the store to see where my wings were, I was immediately put on hold. When the young lady came back on the line, and after I explained my wing disappointment, she proceed to tell me regardless of what I ordered, because their location is not a 'wing stop' I would get the chicken nugget lookin' things every time. Well wouldn't that be relevant information during the ordering process? Hint hint. So because of their lack of wing capabilities, I was stuck with the chicken nuggets (still craving wings) :-(. Also the pizza was mediocre and a little mushy. Plus we didn't get the flavor crust we ordered. Needless to say, we will not be ordering pizza or wings from this location again. #Dominos4life

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
